Recordsfinder.com all day long at least 20 days a day. Records Finder has sent text messages all day long to my cell phone. Advertising there business offers. I am 100% not interested in becoming a member of Records Finder. I have never applied for service with Records Finder. I have spoken with five representatives from Records Finder asking them to Please stop sending emails to my personal email and stop sending texts to my cell phone over 20 times a day. This is 100% annoying and it. I have done everything humanly possible to stop Records Finder to stop sending 20 text message to my phone and 20 emails to my personal email. I have turned off notifications on my home computer. It still won't work. My next step is I am going to contact California Office of Attorney General and to California Secretary of State. I will advise these two government agencies of Records Finder business harassing me. All while I am sleep at night I hear a beep that wakes me up it is Records Finder sending me a text message about locating someone. All I ask is Records Finder stop harassing me stop sending me 20 texts message a day and stop sending me 20 emails sent to my personal email Please Records Finder please stop harassing me with 20 text messages and 20 personal emails trying to get me to subscribe to the service Records Finder offers I am totally not interest please stop please.

To Whomever This May Concern,

I could not find *** in our database as a customer under their name or email address.

RecordsFinder.com does not send text messages. I believe *** might have RecordsFinder.com confused with some other service. If *** can send screenshots, I am happy to look at them but I believe that *** has the wrong merchant. I suggest *** contact the proper vendor regarding their complaint.

Thank you.

I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ***.

I have the correct merchant. Because I telephoned your office. I will be complaining to California Office of the Attorney General. Because, your company does not want to take responsibility for its actions. When I telephoned your office on Saturday the Supervisor advised me that hundreds of customer were making the same complaint as I was. I may not be a member of your service. However, some how your marketing department is sending me text messages all day and all night. It is annoying and it is harassing. Why you are trying to deny the fact that your company is sending me text messages day and night I don't know. I will send your company and California office of the Attorney General the same snapshots. Because your company is harassing me on my cell phone, with your ads. Please stop I am begging and pleading with you. Please don't just try to blow off this complaint. Please don't just try to make excuses. Please just correct the problem.

To Whomever This May Concern,

I just tried to call *** to resolve this issue. I do not want to call again as I do not wish to disturb ***. Again, text messaging is not something that RecordsFinder does. I spoke with our phone support team and none of our supervisors have spoken with anyone about this matter. This is not an issue anyone is complaining about to our support department.

If *** could provide a screenshot or even the number the text messages are coming from, we could try to look into it. At this point in time, there is nothing more I can do unless *** can provide more information. Once I have more information, I will try my best to assist however I can.

I do not believe that *** has ever had an account with RecordsFinder.com. I could not find any accounts matching the name or email.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

I used the website InfoTracer! to search for a potential warrant in connection with a particular name. The site initially provided results stating that an outstanding warrant had been found, and provided some identifying information about the individual. It allowed for purchase of a copy of the warrant for a one time fee of approximately $29, with the creation of an account. I created the account and entered my credit card information. I was then taken to an account page, not to a copy of the warrant. Once in the account page, I had to look around for the option to search for the warrant again. Once I got back to the search option, I searched for the individuals name again, and entered the exact same criteria; this time "no results" were found. Furthermore, I tried to find the option to cancel my account so that I don't get charged any type of recurring fee- which by the way, I should not be charged, since the option I purchase was a "one time" fee. The link they provide to cancel your account does not cancel the account, it just takes you to an FAQ page. Lets wait an see if they try to charge anything else to my account. I bet they will.

Infotracer.com Response • Apr 18, 2018

To whom it may concern, *** contacted our Dedicated Care Team on April 13, 2018, to cancel the account. The representative replied back within 24 hours to let *** know that it was a one time purchase and that there will be no future billings from InfoTracer.com Single report purchases will be billed on a one-time basis. The customer agrees and understands that, except as may otherwise be indicated, they will be billed whether or not any report you purchase yields any results, and whether or not the results contain incorrect information or no information at all.Terms can be found here: ***Please be aware that the information obtained using InfoTracer searches may not always be accurate and up to date as we do not create, verify, or guarantee the accuracy or the amount of information provided through our service. As a recent victim of identity theft, I am distraught that InfoTracer is refusing to remove my personal information from its website and the many other sites owned by the company. I faxed in a request on 3/12/18, followed all of their instructions, including a redacted copy of my ID and police report from the fraud incident, yet they still have not removed the information. I also resent the fax on 4/9/18 and heard nothing back. Because faxes are such an antiquated and unreliable form of communication, I emailed them to make sure they received the fax and that my account was scheduled for deletion. I received a form letter back from someone who obviously didn't read my original email or address my concerns. I emailed again asking them to confirm that they received the fax and they did not reply. This company's behavior is completely unacceptable and they should suffer consequences. First of all, they are publishing private citizens' data without permission and putting us all at great risk for identity theft, stalking and harassment. Secondly, their opt-out policy is absurd. Asking users to use a fax, an antiquated form of technology that most of us haven't used in years, makes it more difficult to opt-out. Plus they ask for "proof" that you are a victim of stalking, identity theft or are a law enforcement official. Why should I have to wait to become a victim of a crime before my personal and very private information is removed from the Internet. InfoTracer claims that this information such as age, birthdate, address, all previous addresses, list of relatives, phone number, etc., is public record, but I have serious doubts it is actually public record, as I have contacted various agencies in my state, including the DMV and voter registry and they have assured me that information is kept private. Posting this information online for any random person to view, is unethical as it is a dream for all sorts of criminals, hackers, stalkers, etc. Refusing to reply with removal requests should be criminal.

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ***..

I sent two faxes to InfoTracer on March 12, 2018 and April 8, 2018, as you can see from the attached screenshot from HelloFax. I also emailed many times, only receiving a reply once from someone named “***” who did not even bother reading my email before responding (see attached screenshot). When replied to ***, asking for confirmation of my faxes, she did not respond. If you changed your opt out method to modern and reliable methods of communication that are used in 2018 such as email or an opt-out link on your website (as almost all of the other data companies do) you wouldn’t be losing the faxes. Also, InfoTracer blocked ***, the first internet fax service I used, most likely because they know people no longer own fax machines and want to make it as difficult as possible for people to opt out. Blocking a popular service like *** is extremely unethical. I need assurance that my information is removed from ALL sites owned by your company and will not be placed on sites owned by your company in the future. If my information reappears, I need an email address and real contact, not a fax number, to get it removed. Please provide a full list of all websites and companies owned by and affiliated with your company. I need this list to ensure all information has been removed as there are too many sites and Accucom is not transparent about the sites it owns. I can’t even find a simple list even in the parent company’s site. Please provide a full list of ALL of the sources you used to collect my data and compile a profile. I need this to ensure my data is removed at the source. I have no social media accounts and have removed my information from all major data broker and aggregator sites. Additionally, I have checked for public records with government agencies where I live and have previously lived, and they do not have the personal information you were displaying on your site available as a public record. I need to know exactly what records this was coming from.

Infotracer.com Response • Apr 19, 2018

To whom it may concern,

Though we received the fax on April 08, 2018, Infotracer.com Opt Out Policy states it may take 30 days to process the removal request as we receive a high volume of opt out requests every day. This is a service that we provide free of charge to anyone who requests it.

Please see this is clearly stated here: ***

I would like to inform *** that InfoTracer.com does not block any faxing services.

We were unable to initially find ***'s correspondence because *** did not use the same email address that she provided to the Revdex.com. We were finally able to locate correspondence.

Again, we do not guarantee the information that was the subject of the request will not be available again in the future, as we are not in direct control of the information distributed and obtained from public records sources. We cannot provide the sources of the information because they come from multiple proprietary public information sources.

I wish to reiterate that ***'s information, as we are aware of it, has been removed from our websites. *** is welcome to email our Opt Out Team Member, ***, at *** in regards to any future removals. I believe they are already in contact regarding this issue.

Thank you.

I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ***.

It has been more than 30 days since I sent the first fax on March 12 (and I provided proof that it was sent over a month ago with the screenshot in the previous message) so that has been more than enough time to comply. It is interesting to note that compliance only happened after I filed the complaint with Revdex.com so infotracer waits until they are forced to do the right thing instead of doing it automatically.

Secondly, you didn't respond to any of my other requests, which are crucial. Please carefully reread my previous response. I need the following:

1: A full list of all websites and companies owned by and affiliated with Accucom. Unfortunately Accucom is not transparent about the websites it owns and it is impossible to find a full list even on Accucom's website. In some cases thee are sites that appear to be affiliated with another company (CIS)but I have traced back to Accucom. I need a full list of every single site so I can verify my information was removed from all of them.

2. I need a full list of every source you used to compile information on me. I have contacted government agencies where I have lived and none of them have public records on me with the personal information you posted on your sites. I need to know exactly where the information is coming from. Again, I need a full list of every source you use to prevent information from being reposted.

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ***.

1. A full list of all websites owned by Accucom is a simple and reasonable request. I need this list to determine all of the sites have removed the information. The list on Revdex.com appears to be incomplete as Accucom also appears to own another company called CIS, that runs a number of other websites.

2. A list of all public records you use to get information is another simple and reasonable request. If they are public records, it is not proprietary information. I have reason to believe some of this information was obtained unlawfully and I need a list of all sources to 1) ensure information is deleted at the source and not reposted online and 2) to ensure the information was obtained lawfully.
When you are posting individuals’ personal information online—putting countless individuals at risk of stalking, harassment, identity theft and other crimes—they have a right to know where you obtained that information (especially as you said you can’t guarantee it won’t be reposted). They also have a right to know exactly what sites you own so they can verify the information has been deleted.
I know that my information has been deleted from your website, but I also want confirmation that all my information has been deleted 100% from your databases.
Failure to answer my simple and reasonable questions will make it clear that Accucom is trying to hide something and will result in rejections of the Revdex.com response. Additionally, I have filed complaints with the FTC, Massachusetts Attorney General and will share these responses and lack of transparency with them as well as members of Congress.

I discovered information pertaining to my identity on a number of websites maintained by InfoPay, including but not limited to the following:

RecordsFinder.com
GovernmentRegistry.org
Infotracer.com
***
***.org
***.org
***.com
ReversePhoneCheck.com

When I discovered this, I followed the opt-out policies for each one and sent an opt-out request document to a number of them, along with proof of my identity and documentation proving my legal obligations had been resolved. InfoPay assured me that all of my information was removed.

However, I discovered that this was not the case. Searching for my name in an alternative format, "***," led me to discover my information was still listed on these websites. Furthermore, I was told my some representatives of these websites that I would have to submit opt-out requests for each website separately, even though the opt-out documentation is going to the exact same address each time.

I am again requesting that this information be removed. If I have to submit opt-out requests for each individual website and send out numerous letters all to the same address, I will do so.

My information is listed at these links:

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ***.

It appears we are having some communications issues.

I did, in fact, respond to Accucom/InfoPay's initial email with a detailed listing of all of the links and information that InfoPay and Accucom's websites provide regarding myself.

I even explained that my initial requests to have my information removed were not completely honored. While searching for my name in some cases shows "nothing found," searching for misspellings of my
name as "***" leads to my real name of "***" being revealed.

Also, I was told by representatives of CriminalPages, one of InfoPay and Accucom's websites, that I would, in fact, have to mail an entirely separate opt-out form to the same address INfoPay traditionally handles opt-out
requests at, even though I've already done this multiple times.

"APR 03, 2018 | 07:53PM EDT *** replied:
Hello *** ,
Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, CriminalPages also needs a separate Opt Out request. Attached here is the form."

I have filled out several of these forms and sent these documents to the affiliated opt-out addresses, and my requests have yet to be processed.

Meanwhile, this is the email exchange I had with Accucom and InfoPay on 10-APR-18:

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ***.

I do appreciate InfoPay trying to work so diligently to ensure I truly am removed from their websites and search services, but I still am not convinced I truly am removed just yet. We're almost there - we're just not done.

I highlight this statement:"*** is removed from our the member's area and teaser searches on all of our sites."If this is meant to indicate that my name will no longer appear in search results regardless of how it is typed or misspelled, as well as there being no more reports on me, then I am prepared to say that the
information in the previous response was incorrect. However, it is true that some, not all, of the web pages under InfoPay's control indicate that reports are unavailable. Nevertheless, I was under the impression
my name, in its entirety, would also be removed from search results. After receiving this most recent notice, I did a fresh search for myself directly from each website's main front page using terms such as "***," "***," ***n ***," and "***n ***."
Through searches of various misspellings, I am still finding my real name and information. In particular, my real name and expunged criminal convictions are still showing up on CriminalRecords.Info, which is most disturbing.

I am attaching screenshots for review.I would like to see my name no longer appear in any search results whatsoever, especially CriminalRecords.Info. This particular website is of grave concern since it shows my name and prior charge, then directs to
InfoTracer, which actually did successfully remove my information from search results. Yet www.criminalrecords.info continues to display my information in search results - this is very disturbing. Therefore, I must encourage InfoPay to make sure I am removed from everything - reports and search results. I will fax and email opt-out requests specifically tailored to each individual website in the coming week
to ensure my request is formally made and accepted. These requests will include the opt-out request, a redacted copy of my driver's license, the relevant court documents, and screenshots for each entry. Please, let's get this done and fully purged. I cannot accept anything less than a full removal of my name from everything, including search results.

Alright, That is a good sign, and I do appreciate these efforts. I'm 'rejecting' the response as a formality so as to allow the Revdex.com to coordinate directly with InfoPay and its affiliates on this matter to ensure that all of my data,

is a company that operates at least 3 websites for searching public records: ***, InfoTracer.com, and ***. There is no indication on any of these sites that they are all just affiliates of the parent company operating on the exact same database. They are in fact one single product being marketed as different products. For this reason, I attempted to report them to Revdex.com as a scam, but Revdex.com declined that request and suggested I simply post a review.
Additionally, these websites offer a preliminary free search after which they will indicate that certain records are available, but then after purchasing a subscription those records are not available. They then attempt to get you to pay more money by saying there is more information available on premium reports. I purchased subscriptions to both *** and InfoTracer (which is how I discovered that they are the same website) and could not even locate records that I know exist for myself. I highly recommend avoiding these business entirely.

I need to do a background check on an individual. I entered that person's name and state, and Infotracer said there were 2 reports on this individual. It brought me to the purchase screen where I could choose the duration of access to this database. I only needed this one person's report, so that's what I chose. I paid twenty dollars for this, and what did I get? Absolutely NOTHING!! It just came back asking for more money. How do I know that if I give them more money, I still won't get bamboozled?? This is a terrible rip off. I want a refund.

The recordsfinder.com has invalid email address for customer support. I had a trial membership (created on Feb 18, 2018) and sent cancellation within 1-2 hours after I created the account. Because of invalid address the request didn't go though and on Feb 22, 2018 I was charged $25. I called their support number (*** and noted that their email is invalid. They denied it, stating that it's impossible and didn't refund me the unfairly charged money. As a prove, please login into my email account:

They also should return me $2.99(charged on Feb 18, 2018), since there were no results, while preliminary search did say that they found all the information, such as address of the car owner.

After careful review of the complaint, I can see that this customer contacted our Customer Care Team via email and a live call. February 18, 2018, the customer asked for additional assistance on a License Plate number, our representative informed the customer that the reason this customer may not have been able to find any records is that some records are protected under the Drivers Privacy Protection Act (DPPA) and cannot be made public. On February 27, 2018, the customer request for cancellation was handled by one of our Phone Team Members. I refunded the charges of $2.95 and $24.95 back to the customer. The refund will be placed back on the customer's account within 3-5 business days.Thank you. Best, ***Customer Support Assistant Manager

Company is a People Finder who is displaying not only my private and personal information but my cell phone number. This is a violation of the FCC and FTC, as well as Identity Theft and Invasion Of Privacy.

I have filed a FTC complaint against the company.

I have asked them to remove the information thru email contact and they refuse to do so. They are continuing to display my personal and private information for anyone to see which violates my personal privacy.

I'm also filing felony criminal charges against them with the FBI office in Albuquerque, NM.

Infotracer.com Response • Mar 19, 2018

To Whomever This May Concern,

*** has been in contact with this office several times over the past few weeks. We have repeatedly tried to contact *** for more information but because *** uses several different email addresses that appear to be fake, we are unable to communicate with them.

***

I have personally checked this URL several times and there are no search results available in our database for *** in New Mexico. If *** would like to provide a new URL, new information, a screenshot, or other helpful information to remove any remaining information, that would be wonderful. We have contacted *** many times for this information and *** does not reply to any of our repeated contact attempts.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

This company is a scam. First you pay to access the site then it wants you to pay again for Premium Data package just to get the info you should get from the initial payment. All I wanted was the information pertaining to myself not even someone else. Stay away.

I had initially googled for background information for a deceased relative, I chose Lien.recordsfinder.com, I noticed that the website address had changed to "recordsfinder.com. I keyed in the relative's name and requested lien information. A message appeared that I had to pay $2.95 for a one time fee and get 5 days for free. I gave my credit card information, and 1 listing came up for another person with the same name, but different city. Above in the right corner, a box appeared and the message stated that there are 100 more people with the same name. So, I clicked on the box and another listing appeared, I scrolled down until I found the person with the correct information. I clicked on view report, the report populated with no information and I was told to pay $24.95 to view information for liens, premium background check, etc. I returned to the main menu and requested a background check, another listing appeared and scrolled down again and did not see the relative's name that I had seen before. Another box appeared and said that I could check back in 2 days. This company has numerous complaints, I cancelled services right away. Payment is received via Infopay.

Company is not FCRA compliant and is offering my personal information, online for a price. I have requested they remove my information from their services and was informed I have to fill out a form including personal identifying information, copy of my license, copy of court documents, and more. I must then mail this information to their P.O. Box. Having issues with identity theft as well as scam calls from numerous sources over the past decade, I do not feel comfortable with my information being available for purchase online, I also feel even less comfortable with sending corroborating documents to a random person I don't know, claiming to be a legit company, neither of which I can verify the character of.

All other companies have removed my information from their sites without issue or hesitation. There is no reason this company can not do the same.

I want my information to be immediately removed from their site and services.

The company has been advertising my name and background and criminal history report without authorization and free well to the public and without payment @***, this company owned this site with direct payment to thier paypal account under Accucom. This has hindered me and cost me jobs, after finishing my PhD in 2016. The report record is not only wrong, their no such recording in county or cities claimed. I've been a victim of Id fraud and all court has clear my name over 15 years ago. Most of their recorded shows current dates or last five years and when in fact it clear by the court over 15 years ago and some or all where violation that happened when I underage.

It feels like this web site is not telling the whole truth. Not only was it not free, but the reports for the person that I was looking for were partial, I did not see a mugshot with the report. Please cancel my account. I do not find this site useful anymore after I got all the reports I needed.

the website was very inaccurate. I was looking for criminal information about my ex-wife and paid the fee to have them run the check. It came back that she has no court records, no criminal records of any kind. This is very false. We are divorced so there should be at least 1 court record but it doesn't stop there. I have custody of our kids because she is a multi felon for drug use and is currently going to court for 4 more felonies and 2 MDs I don't see how they can say she doesn't have any criminal or court record. It also listed possible people she knows, myself being one of them it gave my birth year of 1986 and said I was 35 not accurate did the same for my father saying he is 74 when he is 57. Even with the company having our correct birth years they got our ages wrong. to me the age thing is petty compared to what I was looking for but to other users it might be just what they are looking for. This business provided very little accurate information after saying they provide up to date accurate information. Also at one point during my search under the criminal tab it said it had "12 records matching your search to view this premium report please pay $19.95) so I paid it and opened my premium report and there was no court/criminal records found.

Infotracer.com Response

To whomever it may concern,
I wish to inform this customer that we collect our data from a variety of sources, including court houses, white page databases, vital records registries, social networks, archives, websites, and other public sources. Our records have all been collected from public data and may contain some inaccuracies. Unfortunately, we can't guarantee full or accurate information for every single name, phone number or address because publicly available information varies.

Vital records can be incomplete for a variety of reasons. Sometimes records can be incomplete as a result of being passed from one vital registry to another. Many counties have different rules and regulations regarding vital registry information. There are still many counties that do not allow the viewing of digital vital records data.

After careful review of the complaint, I can see that this customer contacted our support team via email. Our ticket system indicates that one of our dedicated representatives replied to this customer concern within 24 hours.

It should be noted that the customer received many results on the premium report that they ordered. However, since the specific information they were looking for was not found, one of our representatives refunded this customer in full on November 22, 2017.

As our billing processors only require 5 business days to process refunds, the customer should have already received their refunds for $4.95 and $19.95.

I believe this resolves the issue.
Thank you.

Sincerely,
