Some customers are under the impression that when you purchase a membership with our company you are paying for records; unfortunately, this is not the case. The service that is provided is actually the compiling of all the public records data and the sorting of the data into an easy to read format. When a customer pays for a public records search, we do guarantee that we will search every database available to us, however, we cannot guarantee which records will or will not show up in the final report since we are not in control of the records themselves. The information provided is no more than what you can find when you "google" the person's name. In order to gain a refund you have to be placed on hold numerous times so that the customer service rep can speak to a supervisor. Overall this is a bogus research company. It charges $22.99 to give you "info" and once you commit you must pay and additional $19.99 to gain access to any possible "real" information that they might find. FRAUDULENT at best and should be shut down. I read the fine print and none of this is told to you. I did get my refund or a promise of one - we'll see - after a 20 minute denmanding customer service phone call. VERY DISATISFIED!

I just paid for the Instant Checkmate service. I paid for the least amount of reviews. I used it immediately and it gave me NONE of the information it promised in it's initial screen where is shows the information was gathered. This site is misleading and absolutely provides no further information about a person you couldn't already find for free on the web. This was an enormous waste of time and money. To confirm, I looked myself up and their information was the basic information you can google about yourself. They have no greater access to anything than the average joe. Totally unethically advertising and right along the lines of a scam.

This is a terrible search service, almost all of the information you get here after you pay , you can find with a search on the internet such as Google, yahoo, facebook ,ect...I paid for the 3 month option thinking it was a background search engine I had used before ,big mistake it sucks [redacted], goto http://www.intelius.com/ , if you are gonna pay for it , intelius is the best paid engine in my opinion. ...
