When one of my AC units stopped working, I specifically chose Intelligent Design due to the fact that they claim to be a Christian company One of their sales representatives came to my house and quoted me an estimate of around $20,to replace my AC units.He did not go over the units available, instead choosing to go with two Amana AC units

I inherited an annual contract for yearly annual service on my heating and air condition system by Intelligent DesignThey picked up my contract from Trusted Heating and CoolingThe service agreement was for a spring checkup on the air conditioner and a fall check on the heating systemTwo IIntelligent Design employees came at my request for the fall heating system checkAfter inspection they declared the fan was inoperative and I needed a new control board to fix the systemThey said the part was about $and they had them in stockI told them I'd get back with an answerI called the heater installer(Twin Lake) and upon inspection
he found the power wire to the fan was disconnectedHe furthermore stated the control board retails for just over $
He plugged in the fan motor and the system works fineHe questioned how two people could overlook such an obvious condition

I have used this Company in the past at a prior residence and it was a great experience from the startSo when our A/C went out this week, I called them again and had an equally great experienceA professional, presentable and extremely organized company***, the Technician took a lot of pride in his workmanship and was very pleasant to work withI would strongly recommend this Company

I called Intelligent Design to get a "free" second opinion on a broken A/C unit*** told me he could get the unit working for a little cheaper than my original estimate so I decided to give him a shotAn hour later he said he couldn't get the A/C running because there were too many other things wrongHe spent much time talking about what a bad job the last person who worked on the A/C unit did, the poor condition of my evaporator coil was, and how I should really get a new coil if not a brand new modern A/C systemHe then said he was required to charge me for pounds of R-refrigerant at $195/lbsIn case you're wondering, the going rate for R-is about $20/lbsBut the absolute worst part was I found out that adding refrigerant to an A/C low on refrigerant is WRONGFinding and sealing the leak is required before adding refrig

It was a very organized processNotifications with pictures of the employees coming to my home and on time arrival
