Review: On 4/17/23 I agreed to sign my daughter up with Interface NJ in East Brunswick for a photo shoot and paid $1175.00 She had the photo shoot on 4/20/13 and when we returned on 4/23/13 we were asked to sign another contract to allow interface to market her as well as provide her with another two photo shoots in the next 4 years for a total of $2400 for the photo shoots and $45.00 for a photo release agreement. I had been receiving the activity reports requested that summarized their marketing efforts but the last time I requested a report I never received one. I recently tried to contact them to make an appointment for her next photo shoot (first of the two paid for) and came to find out they are no longer in business and I was never notified nor given a refund for my $2400.00 paid for unprovided services. I have all the documents and receipts from the company and only want my refund of services not provided as per the contract signed.Desired Settlement: I only want my full refund for the services not provided. The amount of the additional photo shoots I paid that would have been completed within the next four years from date contract was signed (4/23/13). The amount is $2400.00

Review: Interface modeling 2013 I sign up with them for my daughter and paid al most 5000 as of last year I tried to contact them to no avail so I went to there office in Gaithersburg to find out the off is NOT there the doors are lock and no one is there .I don't know what to do please help if you can thanks.Desired Settlement: If they are not there anymore I would like to have my refund back because there are not doing there job.

Review: I have been trying to get in touch with this company for several months pertaining to my last two paychecks. I never received my last two paychecks. Today I recieved the W-2 from this company with my total wages and I have not yet recieved my last two paychecks. Which makes this W-2 form incorrect. There is no contact phone numbers for this company on the Internet and the email address that they have listed gets no replies. When I looked on the Internet I also located a company named, "Interface 3" and is listed with the same address. Which leads me to believe that they are changing their name to get away with addressing these issues. What can I do?Desired Settlement: I would like to either get my last two paychecks or have my W-2 changed to the correct dollar amount.

Review: My wife was approached by Interface in a mall. They wanted to schedule a modeling meeting for our 9month old child. They called us several times at home. We scheduled a meeting and drove to E. Brunswick last Thursday, 09/26/13. They called us on the way there to make sure we were coming as they would have to otherwise cancel the meeting and there would be no chance for rescheduling. Once at the office (our meeting was at 5pm) we waited for an hour. First they signed us up for an internet marketing subscription. After that we were sent into a room with a producer. He told us about the people that Interface was able to place with the industry. How the season close to the end of the year provided lots of opportunities. He wanted to schedule a photo shooting appointment for the same weekend, Saturday or Sunday. We said we had to think about it. He made me sign some papers and we discussed that we would think about maybe doing a photo shoot on Sunday, October 6th. He said that we could think about this and cancel the appointment if we would decide not to do the photo shooting for our baby. The exact terms of the cancellation policy were not explained to us. We told him that we had recently moved here from Germany. We send in a cancellation letter on Monday the 30th per certified mail with return receipt as indicated in the contract. We called the office. First they greeted us by name and they knew the name of our baby. Once we told them we wanted to cancel they told us it was to late as we would have had to cancel on Saturday. We disagreed and they told us they would get back to us. They never did. We emailed a copy of the cancellation letter but received no response. We tried to call again several times but nobody answered and when somebody answered they told us that they weren't familiar with the matter and they would get back to us. Until today we have not received any response from Interface on the cancellation.

Thank you for your support,

Review: On July 4 2014Interface representative charge me $775 for a photo shoot and I never got any of the photos , I've been trying to get in contact but they closed down I just want my money backDesired Settlement: I just want a refund

Review: I am writing to dispute charges on my Credit Card Accounts in the amount of $ 2,720 dated 03/10/2014. Interface Network agents fooled us to sign a contract for services that they promised and we have not received any services since March 10, 2014.From this agreement through Interface Network my son [redacted] received only one time Photo shoot service.I have made several payments in total of $2,720 to Interface Network and payments are as follow:March/09/2014 Reference nr [redacted] PAYMENT -$45.00March/09/2014 Reference nr [redacted] PAYMENT -$1800.00March/10/2014 [redacted] INTERFACE PAYMENT -$100.00March/09/2014 Reference nr PAYMENT -$775.00My wife and myself are not able to reach them by phone, we make several phone calls and we cannot reach any reps.Desired Settlement: I am not satisfied from Interface Network services at all. Therefore, I would like to dispute all charges in the amount of $2,720 and get a credit for all my payments?

Review: I was approached and received a phone call and an email at least 2-3 years ago to come in and sign a contract to help promote my image to receive modeling and acting gigs within the entertainment industry. They sold false dreams to families who were striving to receive a way of making it BIG. We were bribed into paying hundreds of dollars for high professional photos that would be submitted to agents all over the world. They were supposed to submit our photos to agents and we would receive a phone call saying we were selected. Well none of that happened.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive all the money I paid and the false advertising InterFACE talent promoted. It's been years I was trying to contact the company but no one ever got back to me.

Review: On 09/30/13, I signed a contract with interFACE for 2 photo shoots for my son. I paid $1225 for the first shoot which was completed and on 10/7/13 I paid an additional $1500 for a discounted photo shoot within the next three years with 4 outfits. I called to schedule that second photo shoot but they are no longer in business it seems. They are in breach of contract for unfulfilled services.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of $1500 for unfulfilled services of the second photo shoot.

Review: My daughter was supposed to receive 1 photo shoot per year until 9/24/2016 as per our contractual agreement signed on 9/24/2013. My contractual agreement pertained to their 4 year membership plan which included photo shoots and usable pictures. Since they closed without informing us, we cannot receive this service.Desired Settlement: I paid $2400 for this service. I am requesting a refund for this service that was never rendered.

Review: I took my son for a modeling interview on Sunday August 4th 2013 at Interface (Boca Raton Branch). I signed a contract and paid ~ $900 for an initial photo shoot. The next day, I decided against it and immediately posted a registered letter stating my decision for a refund. It arrived within the 3 day required time limit and they stated they received it and would follow up with my refund within a month. When this did not occur, I called and they stated that their branch in New Jersey dealt with refunds and I needed to contact them. I have been doing this for the past year and 3 months. I have a list of my dated phone calls, at least one a month, and have spoken to "supervisors" and " client service reps" like [redacted], [redacted], [redacted], [redacted] etc. Each time, they said things like my cheque was sent out, will be sent out ASAP. The last time I called was July 7th 2014 (###-###-####) and I was getting a message, stating it was only for models. Now when I call I get a busy tone. I am annoyed with the business and I just want my refund back.Desired Settlement: I want my refund back as soon as possible. It is my money and it is in the contract that it's allowed.

Review: On July 13th 2014 we went to interface in New Brunswick and after speaking with [redacted] the director we decided to engage in a photo shoot for our children for $800. In the contract it stipulates that we had 3 days to cancel. On July 14th we called to cancel and they said we needed to speak with someone from client services to cancel and they were not available. On July 15th we spoke with [redacted] from client services and she entered in the database that we cancelled the shoot we also sent a certified letter cancelling that same day. We were told we would be receiving our money back in 2 weeks.

On August 6 2014

We called and spoke with [redacted] from marketing and she said someone from client services would be calling us back.

[redacted] from client services called and said we should receive a check in 2 weeks the check has never come and now we cannot contact anyone from interface it seems the business is having issues or downsizing. If you call the number each location at interface has a different message.Desired Settlement: All I would like is to receive my $800 back and report this to the Revdex.com so nobody else gets scammed.

Review: The credit card was charged $1550.00 before the agreed 3 day cancellation. Spoke to [redacted] on the Saturday the 9th of November(the day after the contract was made 11/8/2013) requesting the contract be cancelled.A registered letter was also sent to [redacted] requesting the contract by cancelled. Received a call stating that the money would be refunded within a week. It has been over two months and I have not received it. Twice I have gotten an excuse as to why the check has not been mailed and a promise that the check will be in the mail in a week. I have been paying interest on this amount at 15.24%Desired Settlement: To receive payment with interest included.

Review: My daughter was confronted at our local mall by a representative of InterFaceAfter completing a form they contacted me for a phone interviewThe interview seemed real and genuine as they wanted us to bring a report card from school, etcensuring me that they had high achievements as their top priorityOnce we went in for the initial interview with a "DIRECTOR" we were pushed to make a decision on the spot for the photo shootWe were told that the top package would give my daughter the best advantage over everyone else because they would get to see five different images/stylesI had to pay on the spot in order to make the appointmentThe day of the shoot, they had so many models there with only two photographers taking us seven hours for the photo shootThe following day we went to review the photos and pick the photos for her composite cardWhile there we met with the VP of Marketing and she pushed us to sign up and pay money again for marketingAfter paying the thousands of dollars we did for the photo shoot, we had no choice or we would lose all that moneyShe told us that we had to get this rushed for the fall adsShe had already chose the photos for the composite card and told us that the head shot would be airbrushed to have a few flaws fixed which never wasA few days later someone else called telling me I owed more money which I did not and now I cannot get in contact with anyone whenever I call.Desired Settlement: Photo Shoot $1,
Marketing $[redacted] $monthly for some crazy reality project that we are not interested in (I've tried canceling) [redacted] $monthly as we had to agree to the magazine in order to meet with marketing (I've tried canceling)
Total to date = $2,

Review: I purchased two packages which include photo shoots, pictures, and online services for both of my daughters. I have only had 2 photo shoots when I purchased 8. The company is now out of business and I cannot get a hold of them. I spent over $5000. How am I supposed to get the services I paid for? Or a refund seeing as they can not hold up to their side of the contract.Desired Settlement: I want a refund on the services that they cannot give me.

Review: This was a modeling agency, my son completed a photoshoot and I signed an contract with Interface to host my sons modeling information to advertise him for the next four years starting 1/24/2014.

I cannot access my sons profile, I cannot change his password, the only thing that is working is the companies web site continuing to advertise they are accepting new clients when none of their phone numbers work, I found an article for a local NJ news broadcast stating that Interfaces HQ in NJ has closed its doors, the company is officially shutdown.

I live in [redacted], and they had an office here, this is where had the photoshoot and signed the contract with Interface to advertise my son's modeling profile.Desired Settlement: Because I paid for fours years of their advertising service on their companies website and they shutdown in August 2014, I want a refund for the remaining months in the contract that was not honored.

Review: I purchased pictures for my two kids to be apart of Interface's corporation. My wife and I have paid more than $5000.00 for their service. There were some agreements contractually that didn't come about. One, my wife and I paid for two different photo shoots for both our kids. We did have one photo shoot last year in I beleive april or may. We have been trying to contact them to get the second photo shoot and all numbers that we have including the so called managers all don't work. Even when we call the agency numbers its either is disconnected or a message is given that they are not taking any call or new talent at this time. We have even went to the agency numerous times to speak with representatives and the building we went to looked vacant. Second, we cannot get any help for our accounts online and after months of not hearing anything from the last time we talked to someone, the accounts don't work nor did they have a list of any companies that our childrens photos went to. The last time we spoke with an representative and we asked them about the monthly companies they sent our photos to we got no response. Later that week we signed back on and they listed three companies, both were the same for both kids and that was it. As far as I'm concerned if phone, emails, online accounts, and physically going to the agency doesn't work then our contract aggreement with them has not been met.Desired Settlement: I beleive the services they say they were going to provide was not met and therefore I should be refunded my money for the photo shoots that didn't take place as well as them not conducting the services that they said they would provide in the contracts.

Review: I had a refund to collect from interface talent after my daughter had withdrawn from their photo shoot and company in february 24 2014 we compiled with what the contract had stated we had 7 days to withdraw and we had to write a letter for us to receive our refund. we had did that on the 27th of february 2014 interface had received the letter and said that they will send the refund in 30 business days we waited until april the 7th 2014 for making our call to them and they stated again that the check was on its way again in May 2014 we had not received our cheque from the company and called again in june they told us that we had to wait 2 weeks s they could track the check we called in july they had said a whole bunch of excuses and said they had swapped merchants and that the cheque will be delivered to us in August .. August came they still did not refund my money I called them they had nothing nut holds and excuses gave me fake extension numbers and I spoke to there manager who had nothing but the same excuses and they put my on hold for more than 1 hour I had to wait 40 minutes just to speak to rep to be told don't worry by end of august u will receive your refund now they have cut off there telephone lineDesired Settlement: all I want is my refund and I want people to know how bad this company is with refunds and customer treatment so future parents wont have to make the same mistake I did ..

Review: I WENT TO VISIT INTERFACE ON 1-16-14 WITH MY DAUGHTER LESLIE RIOS AND MY FRIEND [redacted], MY DAUGHTER IS VRY INTERESTED ON BEING A MODEL. WE WENT THROUGH THE PROCESS OF SIGNING IN AND THEN MICHELL [redacted] WAS TALKING TO US IN HER OFFICE EVERYTHING WAS GOING GOOD UNTIL THE MONEY PART CAME IN. SHE WAS VERY CONSISTANT ON TRYING TO GET SOME MONEY OUT OF ME WHEN I KEPT SAYING WAS ALL I HAVE IS 15.00 DOLLARS ON ME. SHE WAS CHARGING ME 600.00 FOR THE PHOTO SHOOT MY DAUGHTER DIDNT WANT IT BUT SHE PUSHED SO HARD ON IT THAT I TOLD HER TO HOLD MY CARD FOR 50.00 FOR THE NEXT DAY MY PAYCHECK WENT IN. AFTER DISCUSSING WITH MY FRIEND AND MY DAUGHTER WE DISCOVERED THAT ALL IS A SCAM AND I CALLED EARLY THE NEXT MORNING AND I SPOKE WITH A GENTLEMAN IN CLIENT SERVICESBY THE NAME OF MANIER HE SAID EVERYTHING IS CANCELLED AND NO MONEY IS GOING TO BE TAKEN OUT. WELL ALL I LYE AM STILL TRYING TO GET IN TOUCH WITH [redacted] AND I GET A BIG ROUND ROUND AND GET NO WHERE AND STILL NO MONEY BACK. THEY NEVER EXPLAINED CANCELATION POILICIES JUST GIVE ME MONEY.....Desired Settlement: TO RETURN TO ME MY 50.00 I DISPOSATED PLUS 60.00 I SPEND TO GET THERE FOR NOTHING. AND ALL THE AGRIVATION I HAVE BEEN GOING THROU.

This is in response to the complaint submitted by Ms. [redacted].

Ms. [redacted] did attend a free evaluation meeting with one of our Development Directors on January 16, 2014 at our East Brunswick location. During the meeting, Ms. [redacted] was presented with the option to purchase a photo-shoot package for her daughter. The packages discussed with clients contain the use of a professional photographer, make-up artist, hair stylist, wardrobe specialist and studio time. The packages discussed are always optional. Ms. [redacted] decided to purchase a 1 outfit, 48 image photo-shoot package at a promotional rate for $595. The photo-shoot was scheduled to be completed on February 15, 2014.

Ms. [redacted] agreed and signed a Credit Card Authorization Form for $50 to be taken out on January 17, 2014, which was at her convenience. She called the same day, on January 17, 2014, and spoke to a Client Services Representative to have the credit card authorization removed because she decided to not move forward with our services. She was still charged because the process took place prior to her calling in. With the intentions of getting information from Ms. [redacted] to resolve this mater, a phone call was made to her where she stated that she already received her money. So, we believe she has her money.

If Ms. [redacted] has any other questions, she is more than welcome to give Client Services to give a call and we will be able to assist her with any concern that she may have. We are sorry that Ms. [redacted] decided not to move forward with our services at this time, but strongly urge them to reach out to us if they decide to reconsider their cancellation in the future.

Review: In March 2014 I was approached in a mall about my daughter going to a consultation with a talent agent. We went to the appointment and was very uneasy about but went ahead and signed her up paying $775 to the company. Within ten minutes after leaving the appointment we turned around to cancel the contract which we had three days to do. The secretary proceeded to tell me we had to mail in the cancelation so I did so. The contract states after cancelation received I will receive my refund within 30 days. This is not the case at 30 days I called the company and they told me they were having issues with check printing and to give it a few more weeks. I then called back in May questioning where my check was and was told they would escalate it. Called back a week later and was told the check went out on Friday. I just called again and was told the information I've been given was incorrect. The rep stated that they switched banks which was original hold up and now it's in accounting departments hands and want me to give them another 30 days. When I said I was not going to wait that long the representative continued to repeat "your check will be too you within 30 days that is all I can say" then hung up on me. It's now been three months that my refund is past due. They are in breach of their own contract at this point. They owe me $775 and it seems they are never going to give it back.Desired Settlement: I want my $775 refunded to me as stated in their contract. At this point they should pay me interesting it for the past three months.

This is in response to the reply submitted by Ms. [redacted].

As mentioned earlier, process of the refund check was expedited. Every single issue was addressed in the previous complaint, as well as the fact that we had, unfortunately, encountered significant clerical errors during recent employee turnover in our accounting department and were working in good faith to rectify them expeditiously. We apologize if the delay caused Ms. [redacted] any inconvenience but the refund check will be received by her shortly. A specific date is not provided simply because we do not have control of the mail and how long it would take for mail to arrive.

Response:

I am rejecting this response because:

There is no reason that I have not received my refund. It has been four months since the request was received and also it's been two weeks since the business claimed to have expedited a check to me and yet I still have no refund. This is well past the thirty days that is agreed to in the contract I assigned. This is completely unacceptable that the contract they have written they are not abiding by.

Review: I had signed a contract. It stated if I canceled in 3 days I would receive my 300$ down payment back within 30 days. I canceled the next day due to reading their reviews. It has been well over 30 days and they kept saying it is being sent. Well new Brunswick is not that far away, so it should not take 2 months to return my money. I guess this is their way of getting their money. I would like my 300$ back. I am a single mom and that is a lot of money to just give away.Desired Settlement: I would like to get my 300$ refunded finally. They said it was being refunded but that was 2 months ago and I was told 30 days, but no longer than that. I have the contract and the emails between me and the customer service lady from the company.
