Review: I have a 4 year contract with them. No one ever contacted me for an audition. My daughter was supposed to have 3 more photo shoots but I now find out that their offices are closed. I cant view their website and I can't reach anyone. I paid over $2000.00 and only had one photo shoot.Desired Settlement: I would like my money paid in full.

Review: My name is [redacted] On April 6,2014, my son [redacted] whom was the talent paid Interface $595.00 for the photos at ** branch. However, I wrote letter to cancel the next day. I called so many times to the New Jersey interface, the client service department told me that I will receive the refund check very soon. However, it have been more than six months from now. I still haven't receive the check of $595.00 yet. Please let me know what is going on and reply me as soon as possible. You can email me at [redacted] or call me at [redacted] Thank you.Desired Settlement: I want my money of $595.00 back.

Review: I've been on a contract with Interface for my daughter since AUG 2014. Every month according to the contract they are suppose to market her but after requesting activity reports twice (once in January and again in June 2014) I have seen 6 months (November 2013 and January, February, and March, and May 2014) where there was no recorded history of marketing submission completed by the agency. Also the contract indicated an updated photo session when she turned two to update her photos on the website. The photoshoot took place June 13, 2014 but I have been calling two weeks after the shoot took place and trying to access the website paid for in the package of $300 dollars initially for the photo shoot and $1100.00 for website access, marketing service and additional photoshoot. The website doesn't work no matter what source you try to login it from laptops or android phones it keeps giving a network error the server not responding for the last 2 and a half months and the phone number ###-###-#### when dialled from any phone it never rings landline states that due to heavy calling your call can't be completed please try your call again later or cell doesn't ring and the phone service provider of the phone you using states this call can't be completed please check the number you have dialled. I didn't pay a total of $1400.00 not to get the service stated in the contract.Desired Settlement: The business has a responsiblity to refund a portion of the cost for the months not marketed as specified in the contract as well as refund for the cost of the website upkeep when access was not available.

Review: I paid for a 3 year contract with interface where it was including 2 photoshoots. Although I did receive a couple of background acting jobs through them and did one photoshoot it has not been a full 3 yrs yet and the business has been completely closed down before I could do my second photoshoot. Looking to get my money back for a contract that hasnt ended.Desired Settlement: Refund back to the credit card I used for the contract and photoshoot

Review: Have a contract with Interface Talent - East Brunswick, NJ for marketing/promotional services for my daughter which extends until early July 2016.

NO ONE has been returning my phone calls nor emails since August / September 2014 (rumors that they've gone out of business).

THEY ARE NOT PROVIDING THE SERVICES IN WHICH WE HAVE A LEGAL BINDING CONTRACT FOR.Desired Settlement: REQUEST REFUND FOR THE PRO-RATED AMOUNT FROM +/- SEPTEMBER 2014 TO EARLY JULY 2016.

Review: ABOUT A YEAR AND HALF AGO I SIGN MY SON WITH INTERFACE AGENCY TO WHICH I WAS CHARGED $4000.00 WHICH ALSO INCLUDE RESHOOT AND ADVETISING AFTER THE 1ST YEAR. THE ENTIRE YEAR WENT BY AND NOT ONCE ANYONE EVER CONTACTED ME. WHEN IT WAS TIME FOR A RESHOOT, I CALLED THE COMPANY AND THEY GAVE ME THE RUN AROUND. THEIR OFFICE WERE MOVE FROM BOCA RATON FLORIDA TO ORLANDO WHICH WAS AN INCONVINIENCE. I ATTEMPTED TO MAKE AN APOINTMENT FOR THE ORLANDO OFFICE BUT IT APPEARS THAT IT MAY HAVE CLOSE DOWN JUS LIKE THE BOCA OFFICE. I CALLED SEVERAL TIME AND A VOICEMAIL PICKS UP EVERYTIME. I TRIED CONTACTING THEM VIA EMAIL AND NO ANSWER. IT APPEARS THAT THEY TOOK MY MONEY , PROVIDED NO SERVICES AND LEFT.Desired Settlement: A LOT PEOPLE HAVE BEEN COMPLAINING ABOUT THEIR SERVICES, I DESIRE A REFUND AND FOR A FULL INVESTIGATION TO BE CONDUCTED. THEY ARE A RIP OFF

Review: A Interface scout was at Fair Oaks mall and said that my child was beautiful and if she was interested in becoming a model. Made an appointment because my daughter wanted to. Well went to the appointment than came the photo shot, got the photos. Weeks went by and nothing I called and I got put on hold and transferred to different people and sometimes they keep saying that I needed to invest more money for my daughter to be trained (modeling school). All I wanted was to cancel and get my 1000.00 that I invested for nothing. Till this day I haven't heard anything.Desired Settlement: Return monies invested totaling about $1000.00

Review: subjected to a high pressure sales person who sold us on the high quality of their staff and company. was pushed into agreeing on certain service dates due to "directors" being in the district and glorifying their staff as "talented licensed professionals". We paid $925 before services were rendered with the understanding we would have a personal stylist picking outfits, a makeup and hairstylist to work in making top product A captivating room full of toys and props for the children to "have a blast" and a photographer to complete this professional experience! Instead, some unprofessional female who I had overheard saying "i don't even care, I am so over this" to the client in front of us, picked the first items off the rack, and said "this will be fine".then escorted into a fitting room to change into the "first outfit" she then placed another client into the same fitting stall stating "its no big deal he's just a baby". next this woman by the name of Letrice (which was never introduced) packed on concealer, foundation and a powder which didn't seem correct but Im no "professional" the same woman blobbed on hair glue which she seemed to never worked on a child or a short hairstyle,he remained with a cowlick straight up and a greasy mess. The set was white/gray room/cell, the photographer then stated that he looked dirty, I took a wipe and removed the make-up, he thanked me and then stated that he did not like this vest( that was chosen by their "stylist") because it doesn't photograph well. Upon returning in 72hours to view pictures both, sales associate and Senior Marketing Director Kristylee Balon were understanding and agreed with our disappointment, wishing us to continue but would go talk to the client services director A male(never seeing his pictures) tried to sell us on another shoot and "free marketing", I explained I did not trust that I would receive whats promised again and wanted a refund. after 2.5hrs he told me its my opinion, nothing can be done.(ect)Desired Settlement: I did not receive the services that I was told I paid for, in advance, nor to the degree I was promised. I paid $925 to be pushed along and treated insignificantly with absolutely NO product. I don't even have a picture to show for it! I do not wish to continue with this company, I just wanted to be compensated for my time and energy in traveling all the way down there 3 times in 10 days all to work within their schedule. Multiple hours spent in their offices and then to be mistreated and given substandard service, and not even an image to show for it! In the end to be told by, as he addressed himself, the Assistant Vice President that I was not willing to work with them that if he gave me a refund he would have to refund everyone, and that there was nothing more he could do. I want what is right, and what I deserve. I want a full refund of $925.,

Review: While at the Garden State Mall one day I stopped at a kiosk advertising for models. I filled out papers and received a phone call the next day. I made an appointment. I was interviewed by a representative and persuaded to sign up with the agency for the purpose of taking pictures and going on appointments to becoming a print or TV model. I authorized my credit card for $1225.00. When I returned home I checked with the Better Business Site and found the company was not reputable. I reviewed the contract, and the next morning I wrote a letter asking for the contract to be cancelled and my money refunded. The instructions on the contract directed me to complete this process within 3 days and to send the letter certified mail. I did this on July 19, 2013, the day after my appointment . I followed up with a phone call and I was told I would have my refund in 30 days. No Problem!!!

I have made at least 8 follow up phone calls in past few weeks and the people from client services named [redacted] & [redacted] assured me they would look into this and call me back. I never received a call back.

I am disgusted I ever got involved with these people.Desired Settlement: I need this money immediately!

Mr.[redacted] did attend a free evaluation meeting with one of our Development

Review: I signed my daughter up at Interface on 8/31/13 and was promised the world like hundreds of other unsuspecting suckers. I did get one set of photos I was promised for the initial $1400 I gave them but nothing was done to promote my daughter or get her jobs, other than her initial job with xist in [redacted] as an extra in Oct 2013. I went to get my daughters 2nd set of photo's updated a month ago and have learned they are out of business.Desired Settlement: I would like the $2400 that I paid to them for the 2 additional photo shoots over 4 years to be refunded to me since there is no way they can meet their obligation in providing the service to me now that they have supposedly closed. I have receipts to back up that I have paid for this service. I will not see reimbursement for the other funds they suckered out of me. But, this is truly a service they cannot dispute they have provided. I would like a cashiers or certified check, not a personal check as I hear they all bounce. or cash. The only thing I am glad is that they are closed and cannot do this to others.

Review: I signed my daughters up to be marketed for modeling thru interface for 2 years, spending thousands of dollars and not one job and they don't not answer phone calls or emails, nbc news posted an article that they have closed their doors....Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of the money spent on them being photographed thru interface and the contract we paid for 2 years of marketing thru interface totaling $4,350.00

Review: I was approach in a mall saying my daughter is cute and has what it takes to be a baby model. I was contacted by INTERFace for an appointment and pressure to sign up for headshots which INTERFace said would be used to submit my daughter for work. I was pressured into spending a few thousand dollars in the hope that she would be contacted for potential work.

It is a scam, and I want parents to know.Desired Settlement: This is a scam, my daughter never received work and I wish I could tell the world what a scam they are running.

Please help.

Mr. [redacted] did attend a free evaluation meeting with one

of our Development Directors on November 17, 2012 at our East

Brunswick location. During

the meeting, Mr. [redacted] was presented with the option to purchase a

photo-shoot package for his daughter. The

packages discussed with clients contain the use of a professional photographer,

make-up artist, hair stylist, wardrobe specialist and studio time. The packages discussed are always optional. Mr. [redacted] decided to purchase a 4 outfit,

96 image photo-shoot for his daughter for a promotional rate of $1,225. It was scheduled to be completed on November

18, 2012.

The [redacted] family did attend and complete the photo-shoot

on the scheduled date. The full staff

was hired and paid for their time and expertise in order to complete the

photo-shoot. Our stylists are world

class creative professionals who are experienced in working with models and

preparing them for photo-shoots. It is

in ours as well as our clients’ best interest to provide only the very best of

service.

Mr. [redacted] then proceeded to meet with a Marketing

Director on November 21, 2012 and decided to purchase a two year marketing

package at a promotional rate of $1,100.

As soon as Mr. [redacted] decided on moving forward with the marketing,

InterFACE immediately began working on preparing his daughter’s

photographs. This consists of sending

out the photographs to be edited and professionally airbrushed to touch up any

flaws. We then proceed to print the

composite cards and headshots to be sent to industry professionals. When we use the term “industry professionals”

we are referring to the talent management companies, casting directors and

booking agents we have built relationships with. Also, we prepare an online profile to be used

to market her son, in addition to sending out promotional packages.

Since receiving the complaint, we have reached out to and

spoken with Mr. [redacted] at length regarding his daughter’s account. We believe at this point to have clarified

and resolved any issues that Mr. [redacted] currently has with InterFACE and are

looking forward to a longstanding, mutually beneficial relationship with the

[redacted] family. We have also provided

our full contact information so that he can reach us with absolutely any

questions or concerns that he has in the future.

Review: On 4/26/14 my husband and I was interested in the Interface Agency for our daughter that I was contacted by phone through Kids Got Talent website. The young lady offered us an interview from all the information I gave her on the phone about my daughter talent. The lady representative ask what would be a convenient time and date for my husband and I to bring our daughter to the Directors at the company to be interviewed. So My husband and I picked the upcoming Saturday. We went to the interview and decided at that time we would proceed with the photo shoot for our daughter. At that time we signed a contract agreeing for the photo shoot service they offered and the photo shoot package they convinced my husband and I to purchase because they stated it was enough composite cards to send to different modeling agencies and that package cost $1,175 that we paid in full that same day. That evening after the interview my husband and I decided we really would not be able to be fully commit to the circumstance so Monday on 4/28/14 I researched the company an realized they were scamming previous clients. I then reread my contract which states you will receive a refund within 30 days in the form of company check if you cancel in writing and the letter was received or postmarked, via certified mail return receipt within 3 days of your contract agreement. I sent a certified letter postmark on 4/28/14 stating I am cancelling the upcoming services and I would like a refund of $1,175. On 4/29/14 InterFACE company received the letter and sent a receipt of delivery back to my home. On 5/30/14 I, [redacted] called the company InterFACE and informed the refund department I did not receive my check and the representative stated the check was sent out and I should receive it by 6/6/14. On 6/7/14 I didn't receive my check and I called back to the refund department and I was told I should receive the check the following week. As of 6/27/14 I haven't received my check.Desired Settlement: My husband and I would like an immediate refund.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is unclear to me when the check was expedited, and how long has it been since the Interface company have processed my check in the full amount of eleven hundred and seventy -five dollars. What is the expedited time for when I should receive my check to my home address? Another option is if I, [redacted] and/or [redacted] can pick up the check at the [redacted] Interface location and I can be notified via email expeditously when the check is delivered at the [redacted] location before picking the check up.

Looking forward to your reply

Response:

This is in response to the reply submitted by Mrs. [redacted].

As mentioned earlier, process of the refund check was expedited. Every single issue was addressed in the previous complaint, as well as the fact that we had, unfortunately, encountered significant clerical errors during recent employee turnover in our accounting department and were working in good faith to rectify them expeditiously. We apologize if the delay caused Mrs. [redacted] any inconvenience but the refund check will be received by her shortly. A specific date is not provided simply because we do not have control of the mail and how long it would take for mail to arrive.

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: InterFace 1 company as of 8/5/14 have not sent I, [redacted] and [redacted] refund check in the amount of one thousand and one hundred and seventy-five dollars. On Monday, July 21,2014 my husband [redacted] called the company to inform them we have not received our refund check and the representative stated the check will be sent out on Thursday July 24,2014 and we should receive the check no later than Tuesday July 29,2014. When we did not receive the check by Tuesday July 29,2014 my husband [redacted] attempted to call InterFace 1 Company and their phone would disconnect when attempting to hold for the next representative and when he was able to talk to a live voice he was put on hold for a long period of time (over 20 minutes). This is unacceptable and I am very disappointed in the matters that have transpired. With such failure to resolve this matter this has lead us to consult legal professionals.

Review: I spent 2,246.00 on a photo shoot package and membership fee for the right to have my daughters promotional materials posted on a profile page on the website as well as "various member-only services". There was never a profile page made for her. When our family attempted contacting the number given to us, we never received a call back as promised and then the number eventually went out of service.Desired Settlement: I want to be refunded the 2,246 dollars I spent on services that were not given to my daughter.

Review: I had been approached by this company at an amusement park in summer of 2012, and it was for an invitation to discuss modeling at this company. During the initial evaluation, every sales pitch and high pressure tactic was implemented in order to get me to sign up for a photo shoot, with no mention of further expenses. As a "client", I was promised vigorous promotion in my favor in order to book both modeling and acting jobs. I am locked into a three year contract, which will end in 2015. Overall, I have spent approximately 2,500 dollars with nothing to show for it except shame, disappointment, and embarrassment. As a law student, the financial toll this took on me was humiliating. After looking online, so many people have been taken advantage of in the exact same manner as I was, step by step. I urge this bureau to sincerely look into InterFace, they are systematically implementing the same fraudulent patterns over and over. Based on outside research, the company is crippling due to all the pressure finally coming down on them. Please help me get the restitution that my family and I deserve.Desired Settlement: Overall, I would like to be released from my contract officially and receive a full refund of $2,500 dollars for the photo shoot and hidden marketing cost.

Review: I signed with this company on behalf of my daughter for 3 years. In recent months I have called to get information as to why they have not been marketing her as promised. I was advised it world be corrected and u would receive a call. When I did not receive any contact I further tried to request activity reports and call. The number is not in service and u cannot log into my account. I paid a lot of money to these people that have not done at least what they promised. Getting a job was not guaranteed however active marketing was. As well as another photo shoot free of charge. I have done everything aside from going to the location itself which may have to be my next step. If they are not going to do what was promised I want my money back! Every dime I had to pay!Desired Settlement: If they do not plan to continue to market my daughter or answer my calls or live up to their end of the agreement I need a full refund

Review: I signed my son ([redacted]) up for the talent services but after doing a bit of research and seeing their Revdex.com score, after our meeting we decided to cancel our service with InterFACE, the day of, NOV 15, 2013, which is when we signed the contract. They charged us $595.00 and contacting them is nearly impossible. I have made repeated calls, totalling in all over about 30 calls, with either the excuse that the billing department is closed or they would call back, which they never did. I would then call back an hour or two later, and noone would have any knowledge of me calling.they have not provided any services or any call backs.Desired Settlement: Return of all funds, 595.00, as charged on Nov 15th.

I am rejecting this response because:

My wife (Mrs [redacted]) DID mail a cancellation letter, as per the contract. We have a copy of the letter. We have again, attempted to contact Inter Face multiple times, and have been disconnected, hung up on, and rudely transferred around multiple times.

Attached is a copy of the letter that was mailed, dated and signed, NOV 15th.

Again, these people give us nothing but the run around, and have made NO attempt to contact us. the only time I was able to get through, I was told that the "person handling my case was not available"

Review: We signed a contract with InterFace 1 and authorized payment of $1,895 on Monday, August 26th for our son. We decided after leaving the office and seeing the Revdex.com profile for the company that this was not the right opportunity for our family. We followed the refund stipulations and sent a certified letter to the company on Wednesday, August 28th which was received by InterFace 1 on Friday, August 30th. Thirty days have passed and we have not received our refund. The company called us on Wednesday, September 4th to discuss our reasons for wanting a refund. The conclusion of the conversation was that we still wanted a refund and within the timeframe stipulated by the contract. We were told that the refund was being processed. Today, October 1st, we called the company and was initially told that we may be impacted by a change they have had recently in terms of a third party refund processing vendor and that it may be another two weeks before we get a refund. We were also told that the contract did not stipulate a refund within 30 days, only that the refund would begin to be processed within 30 days. We adamantly defended our understanding of the contract and demanded a refund immediately. The conclusion of the conversation was that we may, then should receive our refund by the end of this week (Saturday, October 5th). We have no confidence at this point that Interface 1 has any intention on providing our refund by the end of this week or even in the near future.Desired Settlement: Refund by check plus any interest accrued on our $1,895 any time after the 30 days by which we were supposed to receive the refund.

This is in reference to the complaint filed by Ms. [redacted]

[redacted].

Ms. [redacted] and her daughter [redacted] did attend a meeting

with one of our Development Directors on October 16, 2012 at our East Brunswick office.

Ms. [redacted] was presented with the option to purchase a photo-shoot. The packages discussed with clients contain

the use of a professional photographer, make-up artist, hair stylist, wardrobe

specialist and studio time. Ms. [redacted]

decided to purchase a 1 outfit, 48 image photo-shoot package which they later

upgraded to a 2 outfit package. The packages

discussed are always optional.

Upon completion of the photo-shoot, Ms. [redacted] returned to

meet with marketing.

When Ms. [redacted] met with marketing, the option to purchase

composite cards and headshots, as well as online marketing, was presented to

her. Ms. [redacted] decided to purchase a

two year marketing package for her daughter.

We immediately began working on preparing their photographs for

marketing. This consists of sending out

the photographs to be edited and professionally airbrushed to touch up any

flaws. We then proceed to print composite cards and headshots. Also, we prepare

their web page profile to be used to market them in addition to sending out

promotional packages to industry professionals and agencies.

Once her photographs were set we began marketing which

resulted in the following profile packages sent and submissions:

I reached out to Ms. [redacted] to discuss her concerns and

answer any questions she might have. She

said that she was looking for a refund because she was not satisfied with her

daughter’s results. I explained that she

is outside of her cancellation policy and that she is not entitled to a

refund. I also explained that there was

some confusion in what she believes was promised to her and what is outlined in

her agreement. Although we did not come

to an agreement about what Ms. [redacted] believes is correct, I did provide Ms.

[redacted] additional options at no additional cost.

I explained to Ms. [redacted] that we will be working directly

with the Promotions department for her daughter and also hope for a better

outcome; however, as stated in her agreement, we can not guarantee any level of

success. This is because we do not and

cannot dictate which of our clients the industry professionals we are promoting

them to decide to represent or partner with. Deciding whether or not her daughter is

selected for casting calls or auditions is completely up to the casting

directors, talent scouts and agencies.

I have outlined a plan of action that we believe would

benefit her daughter and look forward to continuing our relationship with the

family.

Response:

This is in reply to Ms. [redacted]’s above statement. We understand what Ms. [redacted] is saying but have assured her that we wanted to help resolve the issues she had. The employee that she originally worked with is no longer with the company so we can not verify what Ms. [redacted] states, was told to her. As stated to Ms. [redacted], we could only go by what our company’s policy has been and currently is as well as what we are contracted to perform which is outlined in her service agreement. In an outreach of good faith, we have made several offers to Ms. [redacted] which we believe could help her daughter’s success. The only additional cost to Ms. [redacted] would be the time and travel to our office. The offer is still available and would hope that she contacts our office if she decides to accept our offer in good faith.

Review: This company has been deducting $9.97 every month form my debt card from 2008. When I try to reach out to someone about this matter I was hung up on. The person was unable to tell me what this monthly amount is for.Desired Settlement: I want a refund from the time of the first unauthorized withdrawal to when my bank stopped allowing these payments to continue
