Review: After being approached at Six Flags America in the summer and constantly being pursued via telephone, I went to Interface in Novemeber 2013. I was told by [redacted] the marketing director, that my son had the "it" face and he would be promoted for 4 years and receive 2 more professional picture settings (96 shot photo with 4 outfit change and a head shot, on two seperate occassions with in the 4 yr time period). I paid Interface $1075 for professional pictures (taken 11/4/2013) to be promoted on their website www.interfacepages.com, and $2400 to promote him for 4 years and 2 additional rounds of professional pictures. I called in December of 2013 and was very disatisfied with the lack of promotion and the apparent fraud. I spoke with [redacted]promotions and castings, and he told me he would personnally promote my son more. He told me enough to simply appease me and never did. I accepted that I had just naively lost my $2400 but at least I still could go and get the proffesional studio pictures...well I have been trying to reach them and their phone numbers are disconnected and their website is gone. I will pursue all avenues to me to attemp a refund. This company is fraudulent and crimal. Please HELP me.Desired Settlement: I would like a $2400 + $1075 refund that I paid for them to take photos required to promote my son and the promoting, which they did not, as well as 2 additional rounds of professional photographs that I cannot receive if they are unreachable. I had previously spoken with a [redacted] in Promotions and Casting at ###-###-####, [redacted], assistant, at ###-###-####, [redacted] marketing director and VP [redacted] at ###-###-####.

Review: March 6, 2014 I met with one of their modeling agents and they convinced me to get some head shots done. They were very clear with the refund policy. I got home did some research and decided I did not want my head shot done. I sent them a typed letter stating I did not want my head shots done and I'd like a refund. I sent the letter that day with a signature required which I have the confirmation that they received my later. I called and called and they kept saying they were changing banks my check will be sent soon. Over a year period I kept calling I have been more than patient with them. Obviously they are playing me and I need to take matters in my own hands.Desired Settlement: My refund of 1270 I spent for portraits that I did not get done

Review: Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for your time. I had InterFACE charge my credit card for $300.00 in March of this year. I was told that if I changed my mind about having photos done for my son, Lorenzo, I had to write a request in 3 days and it had to be dinged certified. I followed all these instructions and posted the letter of cancellation and request to have my funds returned in cheque form. In the contract, which I followed, I was expecting to get a refund in 30 days by cheque. I have not received anything. I have contacted the office and I keep getting told that they have changed banks or cheque processing companies, etc.

All I want is my $300.00 back, that's it. I'm not looking for damages or interest. I have copies of emails that I've sent. I told them I'd contact the Revdex.com and other state agencies if I did not receive my funds. Please help. I am at my whits end and I have been on the verge of tears several times because I need to money.

Thank you again for your help. I'm happy to speak to you if you need any further details.Desired Settlement: All I want is my $300.00 please in a cheque format to be mailed to my address in Maryland.

Review: On June 22, 2014 our daughter had a photo shoot session to create her business card for Interface talent that cost $1800.00. After, we signed a contract for professional services for 4 years for $2400.00 that included marketing her to other companies and talent agencies. After attempting to contact Interface, I have found they are out of business. They have broken their contract and we did NOT receive any services from them.Desired Settlement: A full refund, as they have broken their contract and we did not receive any professional services from them. Their company is found to be a complete sham. A full refund of $4200.00.

Review: On or about June 2, 2013 I signed a contract with Interface for my daughter to receive modeling/talent scouting services from this company. I paid in excess of $2000 for a photo shoot, portfolio cards and marketing services to be provided. I was advised by [redacted] that as soon as I made the final payment for the marketing services, her photos would be airbrushed and they would begin marketing her as a model/talent and would notify us when any clients were interested in hiring her. After my final payment was made on 7/29/14, I made countless attempts to contact someone from that agency to request a status. I was placed on hold for more than fifteen minutes on several occasions and/or transferred to a line that would not accept any voicemail messages. I also attempted to contact Ms. [redacted] via email to inquire as to my status, but she did not respond to my last email. During my final call to the agency on 8/20/14, a recording was played stating that the company was undergoing operational issues and was forced to shut down operations. It provided an email address for me to contact them, which I did send but do not expect any response. I was never given any prior warning or notice that the agency had any problems that would cause them to suspend services and my final payment of $600 was processed regardless.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund of all payments I made to Interface. We did not receive any services except for a photo shoot for which we only received limited online photos of my daughter, which were not airbrushed.

Review: Interface was used as a modeling service whose function was act as a resource for advertising agencies to find models for paper, internet and television adds for larger companies. Part of their service was to keep in contact with clients as to the number of companies that have reviewed clients portfolios. If a client was interested in a model, Interface would make contact with the model. Interface modeling charged me $640.00 for a 2 outfit photo shoot, copy write release and web portfolio services for 3 months. Since we finished our photo shoot in July, we have never heard from them. We have called and the message save they are not operating any longer due to operational issues. Please call the number we used [redacted]. What would be our next course of action?

I would simply like to have the $640 reimbursed as well the gas it took to go back and forth from [redacted] 4 times for the consultations and photo shoots - $100.00. Total settlement $740.00.

Review: To whom it may concern:On 3/1/2014 I came to InterFace agency. After two hours of conversation their agent finally convinced me to do a photo shoot with them which I had to pay $1175. It was a lot of money for me. But the agent was very pushy and she almost ripped the credit card from my hands. Next day after giving it a second thought, I decided to cancel it. I called their customer service. An agent on the phone dropped the price to $700 for me and promised that the refund check for $475 will be sent to me within 10 business days. I have not received anything. I called them every week requesting my refund. Every time I heard the same answer. It is 4/21/2014 today. Almost 2 months passed. I haven't received my refund or haven't received any phone calls for castings like they promised. I am very upset. Please help me resolve this issue. Money is very tight for me since I am all by myself here in the US and there is no other support for me. Money was one of the reasons that I went to this agency and regret about it now.Thank you for your attention.Desired Settlement: Refund check for $475.

Review: This company has been charging my credit card for services they failed to perform. I can't reach out to them because the phone numbers and web-site address indicated in our contract are not working, although they continue to charge my credit card. I had to call my bank to cancel my credit card to stop this activity. This company (interfacepages.com) has shared my information with another business (or it may be their new identity, as the old company ceased to exist!!!) and I am being charged by this new company (backstage.com) for services I have never subscribed for.Desired Settlement: I would like to get my money back for the two contracts ($1,400 and $500) we signed with this company and the recurring payments ($9.95) that they have been making to my credit card.

Review: On August 3rd, 2013, I went into the offices at InterFACE Modeling Agency for an interviewIn the middle of the interview, my girlfriend and I decided that I could do a photo shoot valued at $500.00, however I didn't have that much money at the timeThey stated that I was able to deposit $and then pay the rest before the upcoming shoot in SeptemberThey also (as it says in the contract for all modeling clients) you have the ability to receive a 100% refund on your deposit if you mail them and it is postmarked within business daysI managed to do so, and as confirmed by their customer service, they did receive my letter and have promised me a refund check within the next three months
It has been over months since and I have not received my refund checkI have called their customer service at least twenty times, spent countless hours on the phone with themBeen hung up on, been told that I would receive a check, just they wouldn't tell me exactly whenThey have told me that it's being sent as first priority mail, they've told me that they've switched banks so checks would take a while to send, all of these are a complete falsification of the truth.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive the $refund check that I was promised in the contract

Review: My wife and I went to Inter face. The Gentleman that interview us for a photo shoot said he would not put the charge though until we contact him. My wife and I decided not to go with the program. My wife brought our daughter to interface to tell them. They said our charge would not be refunded. They took $122.50 out our account. I hope this is not done to other people. I feel their program is fraudulent, based on that fact they make it extremely difficult to receive your proceed back with no service given. Please help me.Desired Settlement: I would like my $122.50.

Review: We signed a service agreement with interface and the very next day we decided to cancel due to too many negative feed backs from friends and online complaints. We canceled our service agreement within the time frame they specify and within 30 days we were promised our full refund. That was on 06/29/2013. Today is 08/18/2013 and we still haven't received our refund. All we get are apologies and promises that they will send the check out within 7 to 10 business days. As of today we haven't received any refund.Desired Settlement: $1225.00

Respectfully submitted,

Review: I was walking threw the mall on day with my baby and one of the interface workers came running after me saying how my daughter had the "look" to be model and to go to a free evaluation with the director. We went to what was suppose to be free and got pressured into paying for a photo shoot. We weren't given enough time to read over all the paperwork. Everything was rushed and seemed so sketchy. At the photo shoot the camera man litterly rushed threw the entire shoot. We got maybe 3 picture of her smiling. After paying $700 I thought I would at least get better service then that. We were told to come in the following week to view the picture and choose the ones we like. We arrive and surprise we have to pay another $500 for them to make composite cards. How come I wasn't informed I would have to pay hundreds more dollars after having paid already $700 for pictures I didn't even like. At this point we had no choice but to pay because we already spend the time and money for the photo shoot. After doing research it seems like this company is famous for scamming people for thousands of dollars. They are marketing her in a data base that is hidden to agency's only and when asked for a list of agency's they work with I was told I couldn't get a list. I have yet to get a phone for from anyone and I'm upset I fell for this scam. How can they do this to hard working people with children? I would just like my money back.Desired Settlement: $1200

Mrs.

was presented with the option to purchase a photo-shoot package for her

decided to purchase a one year marketing package at a promotional rate of $500. As soon as Mrs. [redacted] decided on moving

her daughter’s photographs. This

consists of sending out the photographs to be edited and professionally

professionals. When we use the term

“industry professionals” we are referring to the talent management companies,

casting directors and booking agents we have built relationships with. Also, we prepare an online profile to be used

Since

receiving the complaint, we have reached out to and spoken with Mrs. [redacted] at

We believe at this point to have clarified and resolved any issues that

Review: [redacted]INTERFACE TALENT AGENCY15 Kennedy BlvdEast Brunswick, NJ###-###-####[email protected]@interfacenetwork.comfbravo@... WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:In or about September of 2013, [redacted] and [redacted] were approached in the [redacted] Mall by two young ladies who represent Interface Talent Agency. It was then we first found out who Interface Talent Group was. The two young ladies sold us a story about how Interface Talent Group would be able to get our daughter, [redacted], modeling contracts with the top modeling agencies in the US, Including Commercials with [redacted] and a few others. After thinking about it, we thought that it was a good idea to get our daughter exposed based on what they told us.On April 27, 2014, I made this purchase of ($500.00) five hundred Using my [redacted] debit card at Interface Talent Group Agency location at 15 New Brunswick Blvd, NJ 08816 for a down payment towards a modeling contract that was promise to us. On May 5, 2014 another $800 eight hundred dollars which makes the total to $1300.00 thirteen hundred dollars. Including a membership to other online talent agency that was also promise.Upon making the purchases, Interface talent Agency Representative promise to get our Daughter, [redacted] Movies rolls, ads and Commercials. By those promises we went ahead and made payment. Before the payment was made, we would receive phone calls from numerous staff members reminding us about appointments, but after payment is made, you can never get anyone on the phone number that they provided to you. We made several attempt to cancel the packages but no one answers the phone when we tried calling. We send several letter to agency, but received no response.Unfortunately, Interface Talent Agency did not follow through on the promises that were made. The alleged violation committed by interface includes misleading [redacted] and [redacted] into believing that Interface was a model and talent agency. Misleading [redacted] parents that they could place [redacted] into a Movie rolls, ads and commercials, when infact they were only in business of doing photo shoots.Deceiving us by telling us to sign the photo-shoot Agreement, it could not be cancelled and refunds would not be given.Interface also signed up our daughter, [redacted] for Backstage University for an additional $9.00 per month, knowing that our 1 year old daughter , [redacted] was too young to get signed up for that agency. Interface Talent Agency Staff Member promises that Interface would get our daughter, [redacted] Modeling contracts and also movie rolls, none of which happen.Interface talent Agency staff Member promises that they would keep us informed on a monthly basis with companies they made contact with regards to [redacted]s modeling and movies rolls, none of which took place. We have made several attempts to make contact with the Agency through a contact number that was given to us and no answer. It is an unfortunate business reality that parties do not always perform their contract obligations in a timely, professional, and complete manner. When one party to a contract does not perform its obligations according to its agreed-on terms, that party is said to be in breach. To resolve the problem, I would appreciate a full refund of the amount of $1300.00. I look forward to your reply and resolution of my problem. I will wait 15 days before contacting my Attorney General, Consumers Affair and Revdex.com. Please contact me at the above address or telephone number.Sincerely,[redacted]Desired Settlement: A full refund of $1300.00 immediately.

Review: The Primary Nature of My Review:

I watched the Friday 04/03/15 edition of ABC 7's show '20-20' where exorbitant claims made by talent agencies, namely Interface, are exposed. I can't help but feel relief that this company is being exposed for the under-serving customer service and extreme price tags it is characterized by. I did not come forward with this complaint before because I wasn't confident that I would make progress in getting my desired outcome. The aforementioned news inspired me to change my mind. When I first signed with Interface in March of 2013 for a total of 3 years, I went in for Interface's 'free evaluation' after having discovered Interface on the internet. At that time, I was under great mental duress, having a history of anxiety and other issues. Although the sales person (or representative) [redacted] did not know this, she made it seem extremely likely through a large amount of compliments that I would get employment if I signed on for more than one year. I did that, but the last e-mail I received alerting me of an opportunity was in August 2014. The last e-mail before this one came in April 2014 and the one before that arrived November 2013. I was told when I first signed that these e-mails would come to me from 'marketing' regularly, on a weekly to bi-weekly basis or at least monthly. But, as detailed above, the amount of help I have received in getting an opportunity has proven to be misleading. I know I was to be responsible to show up to opportunities but those opportunities were, as I've detailed, very few.

The Secondary Nature(s) of My Review:

I payed $1,600 for this Interface contract. I tried to cancel my contract before the expiration date and was given a very nasty attitude when trying to do so. In fact, I was told to wait and hung up on several times and, as a result, the expiration date passed and I was told that it 'was too late' to cancel. I had no choice now but to remain with Interface and come back for a second evaluation, as they requested. During my second 'evaluation' with [redacted], I was bombarded with 'you should do it' verbal pressure into paying $925 for a photo shoot and a copyright release consisting of 'two outfits'. I tried to get out of the need to pay for these photos, but now that I had already paid for the contract and was unable to cancel, the pressure to carry through was greater. In fact, I have reason to believe my credit card was changed much more than that even though I don't have all the receipts (I don't remember being given all the photo shoot receipts). At the time of paying for this photo shoot, I was told I was entitled to a free photo shoot that could take place one year after the date I first signed. Interface has closed the location I originally went to. I believe that in total, I paid Interface in the realm of $2525 to $3,000 total. Needless to say I am very disappointed with this company all around, especially due to their terrible customer service, and I would very much like my money backDesired Settlement: I desire for Interface to look through their records, provide me with a copy of all their original receipts concerning transactions with me. I also want them to give me a refund that consists of 100% of all I paid them, including both the contract and the photo shoot. Now that I am fully recuperated, I can fully see what a mistake entering into contract with this company was. I wholeheartedly regret ever going to Interface.

Review: My child was signed up with interface talent in East Brunswick, NJ over 2 years ago. We have fought with them to get a refund on the money we spent On pictures once we realized their business was not legit. Now I see that their company is no longer in business. How is it that I can be told that "your check is in the mail", "it got lost in the mail" and many other excuses and now still have no resolution to this matter? Where is my refund? I spent $1500 on photos, heads hot cards/deposit cards and now out of the money with nothing to show for it. I would some how like to be refunded my money like many other people have been wronged. It is unreal for children To be pried upon from.businesses like this when all the child wanted was a chance in the modeling/acting industry.Desired Settlement: $1,500.00

Review: Two years ago, I enrolled our teenage daughter with this alleged modelling/talent agency. Their reps had previously approached our daughter while she was walking at the Natcik mall and asked if she'd be interested in modelling.since they were "impressed" with her appearance. She took the information and persuaded her mother and me to attend their presentation and their Framingham location. They subsequently took a photo shoot of her and were excited to inform us that our daughter has a promising career in modelling and that they would aggressively market her photos. We paid thousands of dollars to enroll her! Since then, there has been no activity n this account - other than emailing my daughter a couple of times to audition for local, voluntary neighborhood theatrical shows. I called at least three times to question their practices and-was heartily promised that they would aggressive market our daughter. Nothing has happened since my most recent calls.of 1 year ago.Desired Settlement: $2,000

Review: I signed my son up with Interface on 1/26/13 for a 4 year contract package including 3 photo sessions worth $2745. He has done 1 photo shoot and was only called for 1 project. We were never notified that they went of business by Interface.Desired Settlement: We would like to be refunded for the 21/2 years for Breech of contract

Review: On 10/16/13 I signed a membership agreement with this company in the amount of $1,950.00 . [redacted] is the Marketing Director I dealt with. I followed the policy in regard to canceling this membership but received a phone call from a client service representative [redacted] on 10/18/13. After speaking with [redacted] on said date I agreed to a revised contract to reflect a two year term at $1,200.00, with a refund of $750.00 To date I have not received my refund. I have made several attempt to contact [redacted] to find out the status find the dates and times listed below:

10/30/13 at 12:21pm email was sent to [redacted] inquiring about the status of my refund.

10/31/13 at 6:00 pm I received a response from [redacted] stating she already put in for my refund a should have the it within a couple of weeks.

12/14/13 at 1:31pm I email [redacted] is again to let her know I still haven't received my refund check and my new contact phone number.

I also emailed her one prior to December 14,2013, advising I called a spoke with a [redacted] another client service representative who stated "she could see that a check was issued to me but claims it must have gotten lost or stolen in the mail and stated she would advised the account receivable department so they could issue a stop check and reissue me another check and told me to call back in two months to check on it. I response was unacceptable so I email [redacted] about the conversation I had with [redacted] but she never got back to me. So on December 16,2013 I called to speak with [redacted] only to be told on the below listed times:

1:39pm Mike stated she will call me back she was on another line.

4:48pm Roozie stated she was at lunch so I left another message.

6:23 pm Maham told me to call back Monday through Friday 9-4:30 to speak to someone in the Refund Department. [redacted] another car got on the phone claiming [redacted] sold her if I should call back to let me know I should have my check in a couple of days.Desired Settlement: I would like to received my $750.0 refund by check . This company is very deceptive and should be shut down. I have never in my life experience anything like this especially the way the client service representative lie and refuse to let you speak with a supervisor.
