These guys are GREAT! They moved my friend out of her apartment and did such a great job that I had to commentThey worked fast and did everything with a professional attitude

This company was horrible in service and delivery Our move services included packaging and storageWhen the items were delivered the most valuable items were missing or damaged beyond repair Packaging done by the company was terrible, for example our China and lamps were mostly crushed and broken because they had heavy objects packed or placed on top of them All of the clothes and sheets required dry cleaning or professional cleaning because they were stored in damp environment and some boxes had been crushed and water damaged

There is only one word to describe our experience with International Van Lines...AWESOME! They were more efficient, courteous and respectable of our belongings than any movers we have ever used! Having moved times in the last years that's saying something! As promised, they made moving day stress free with the with their careful handling of our belongings and good humorThey even returned the next morning to get a few things left behindWe would highly recommend IVL for their outstanding professionalism and affordability!

Movers showed up hours late to pick up my stuff for my move from Denver to NY and only brought guys It took the guys hours to pack up the truck which resulted in my wife and I missing our flight for our honeymoon
Upon arriving in NY well before our stuff, we couldn't get anyone from this company to give us an accurate answer as to when our stuff would arrive Finally received a call from the dispatcher saying he spoke with the driver on a Saturday afternoon and that they'd be to my apartment Sunday After gathering friends and family to help us move the stuff in to avoid long haul and stair charges, no truck ever came It wasn't until a week and a half later that our stuff showed up with one day's notice from a driver working for a completely different company We didn't get any assistance reassembling our furniture and had several broken mirrors that were packed by these guysHaven't received a refund yet
Avoid this company at all costs Total ripoff!

I wish I had read these reviews before I booked my move with International Van LinesThe sales team obviously knew what they were doing, but you have to know that if you book a move with them, you WILL NOT HAVE CONTROL OVER THE ACTUAL COMPANY WHO WILL MOVE YOUR BELONGINGS
The company who actually moved me was AMERICAN PACIFIC TRANSPORTATIONNEVER USE THIS COMPANYFor 90% of the move I had good communication with the dispatcher Mike SergeizellaThe movers where very inexperienced (I've used professional movers for the last major moves): they didn't come prepared with furniture pads or any extra supplies or toolsI helplessly watched as their movers scuffed up my furniture, struggled with my mattress down a single flight of stairs, banged up my bed frame which they needed to disassemble WITH MY OWN TOOLS (THEY DIDN'T COME PREPARED WITH THEIR OWN)Upon delivery, they forgot to put a large mirror on the truck - it was left at the departure city, LA - and when I gave up and said they could deliver it to a friend of mine back in LA, they sent it via FEDEX without asking meFor the trouble of not delivering my mirror to NY, they've sent me a check for the value of the mirrorThey had already dropped it off, so I couldn't tell them noIt arrived at my friends broken, and when I messaged them to express my dismay all they said was they couldn't do anything about it but apologize
INTERNATIONAL VAN LINES unfairly raised my expectations as to when my things would be deliveredThey were not upfront about the realities of a cross-country move, and instead gave very early arrival dates, instead of noting what the latest date would beWhen I tried to communicate with them about the details of the move prior to pickup, my emails and calls went unanswered I got stuck with a bad moving company and there was a surprise at every turn They were never there to assist with the move after my credit card was charged
I suppose I was naive about how to do a cross-country move, and about these businesses, but cross-country moves don't happen often and most people don't really know where to turn toIVL claims they are a business you can turn to, and they are not
My suggestion for anyone looking to do a move, if you must move your belongings at all, is to look for the moving company yourself, and make sure they are the company that will be moving your thingsDO NOT USE INTERNATIONAL VAN LINES, DO NOT USE AMERICAN PACIFIC TRANSPORTATION

My experience with International Van Lines was horrendous and extremely stressful I found the company on Consumer Reports and called in the beginning of June (XXXX) to hire them to move me from Atlanta to Denver The move was scheduled for June and I was told by the sales person, ***, that they have their own fleet and don't contract their jobs out Big plus for me But that wasn't the case
After the sale with *** my move was assigned to an 'account manager,' Kelly, who was supposed to be "handling my move details." It took me multiple emails and phone calls to get Kelly to respond to me any time I needed answersAnd she typically would respond to my voice mails or emails with a vague email I think it was a rare occurrence she ever called me back
My pion June was scheduled for a 12-window My personal belongings would then be in their storage unit until I found a place in Denver for delivery The first 30-days of storage was free and each month after that was a set (what I thought at the time) reasonable fee The movers showed up at 4:(30-minutes outside of their window) I know it is 30-minutes but it then took them 5-hours to move my stuff out of a bedroom house (I didn't even have a couch) This is when I learned that my move was contracted out to a company called *** and *** I was told, originally, they don't contract moves
My stuff went into their (D&G) storage in Georgia When I called 20-days later inquiring about when my card would be charged for the additional month of storage I was directed to a they told me I couldn't pay with Amex (which I had previously asked and they [IVL] confirmed I could So after tracking Kelly down I got this resolved and they charged me $on 8/for my August storage (July was free)
Kelly then started becoming harder to get responses from By this time I had a clear modate of 9/ At this point I am now talking to the owner of *** & *** ***, who is one of the most despicable human beings I've ever come acrossHe took every *** to condescend me and make me feel as I am to blame for every misunderstanding At one point, on 9/(first date of delivery), he told me that he was going to "sell my stuff on the black market" and asked me "what do you think you are doing? ordering an uber or a delivery across country." I was trying to get clear answers to two very simple questions; Why was my final quote $more than the original quoted final payment? It couldn't be for an additional month of storage since he told me the movers left *** on 8/ Are they assembling my furniture? I didn't even get to ask #because he went off on me about the assembling the furniture question You would think I was unreasonable
So I hung up on him and avoided any calls from him, because remember.....I HIRED INTERNATIONAL *** LINES to do my move! Why am I dealing with this horrific person from another company! So much more happened before the delivery finally happened on 9/
On 9/the movers called around 9am (I was supposed to have 24-hour notice) to ask if they could unload that afternoon Because I was anxious to get this whole experience done I rearranged my schedule to accommodate I arrived at my house at 4pm and they were outside waiting
The supervisor took a page from ***'s book He was just as horrible Condescending, rude, telling me where I should put things (because he didn't feel like moving stuff downstairs to basement) "It would be a lot easier on (us)" he said He also claimed that the additional $was for another month's storage (of which I didn't use!) but I am still waiting on clarity from IVL All of my wine glasses were brokenAn $mirror was broken A media console has a big chunk knocked out of it (to which he replied "you shouldn't buy this type of wood."
When they were assembling my beds the hardware was all missing He blamed me saying they didn't disassemble the beds so it isn't his problem THEY needed to complete the job I paid them for I went to ACE hardware to buy more screws for the beds and by the time I came back the movers were gone They left all of my doors open, my furniture in the middle of the living room, beds not assembled, and garbage in the yard
I wrote *** at IVL (remember him...he was supposed to be one of my reps from the beginning) an email To his credit he called me right away and was able to secure a local handyman company to complete the job the next day But not to Mike's credit, he did tell me he would follow up the next day with me and find a way to compensate me for my experience It has been two days and I haven't hear a word from Mike I don't expect to
Silver lining - I have the MOST amazing handyman now in Denver And if I can save anyone from hiring International Van Lines and *** and *** movers EVER then hopefully I am helping another person

We were moving across the country and needed to get everything we own out there safe and secureWe contacted International Van Lines and booking a moving dateThe movers showed up on the scheduled day and were a pleasure to deal withAll our goods were packed with the utmost care by a crew of who were very professionalWe drove across country to our new residence and after a few days received a call confirming delivery for the next morningThe movers arrived as scheduled the next morning and delivered everything, unwrapping and setting up our beds and furnitureThey had a checklist of every box and room it belongedNothing was missing and everything was in the same condition as when it was packedA very positive experience

Can I thank you and the guys again for doing such a good job, it really did take the stress out of it (and that is saying something with a toddler and an week old baby!)

Moving can be quite a big headache, especially for the first timers, who have no experience about the hassles it may involveWhen I had to move to a new town for my university education, people around me scared me, narrating the horrors of packing, loading and unloading my stuff at the new placeBut thanks to one of my fellow students, I was able to get the services of International Van Lines, who made moving a hassle free experience for meThey were absolutely perfect in their jobI didn't mind spending a few more dollars with IVL because the services they gave were impeccable, with their friendly and patient approach all the wayTheir experience truly makes them a cut above the rest in the industry and it is their work which speaks for themThanks IVL for making moving such a cool and hassle free experience for me

On a very hot day they did a fantastic job of getting everything moved with no problems at allVery good and friendly serviceHighly recommend using IVL

Do not use this company
They give you a low quote initially then it more than doubles, they send you invoice after invoice for things that you have no idea are legitimate or notMy quote was $and ended up approximately double that
They tell you we are not brokers, when in fact they areThey have movers bid for the business, they tell complete lies just to get your business then treat you like your an open credit cardTo top it off the companies they use do not pack properly , they fill the boxes with paper, to up the space you'll needFurniture arrived broken
Avoid at all costs and ask for a binding quote from your mover that way they cannot issue you with invoice after invoiceAn expensive lesson learnt
