Liars & con artist. These guys promise delivery in five days and delivered 6 weeks later. At one point my container was abandoned on the side of a road in Georgia for two weeks.

We were incredibly satisfied with the movers at International Van Lines. They knocked out an entire 2 bedroom apartment's worth of furniture/stuff and moved it into a 2 story house within about 3 hours. Everything got through the move unscathed and the gentlemen were very friendly, approachable, and put everything where we asked. I would highly recommend them moving to anyone!

I had an excellent experience from start to finish. From booking the appointment to the movers being there 15 minutes early to until the job was done. Nothing broken, nothing went to the wrong address and the movers worked fast. A complicated move executed perfectly, efficiently and cost effectively.

We couldn't be more pleased! Even though it was raining on the day of our move, the guys carefully wrapped our furniture in blankets and then shrink wrapped it so nothing got wet! (Except the guys!) They were courteous, respectful and professional. We highly recommend them to anyone contemplating a move!

Extremely satisfied with the service. They were on time, friendly, accommodated last minute changes and offered a very competitive price (note they do have insurance). They wrap/disassemble/protect what they have to, carefully and efficiently. Highly recommend.

Relocating has never been easy for me as I have been in a transferable job right from the beginning of my career. During the last 20 years, I have had to move to a new place after every two years and have used the services of several moving companies but no one as even come close to IVL, the service I hired the last the last time I moved. It was on a recommendation of a client that I hired IVL and I'm happy that I listened to him because never has it been this easy. Friendly services, great professionalism, attention to detail and reasonable pricing are all that IVL gave to me. From day 1, they were careful about the delicate pieces to be shifted because damage of things is something that I have come across the moving process with other companies. But not with IVL and their expertise and experience showed in their work. I am 100% satisfied with the service provided by IVL.

He and his guys were great. They were on-time, moved fast while being courteous and respectful to our belongings. You didn't have to give them instructions every 5 minutes on what to do. They were reasonably priced and didn't nickel and dime for small things. What they said is what I paid. I was looking for someone that charged by the hour and put all fees and costs in front of me so I could make a decision. There were plenty of costly movers that wanted to give me an estimate for hundreds of dollars more with hidden fees. We moved from a two bedroom house in WI to an apartment in downtown Chicago and they handled everything well.

This is the third time you have moved us, moving my wife Sharon twice in the past. I can't express how happy I am and grateful to your moving company. What a fantastic group of people you have working for you. The three guys that moved us, are great guys. They are so accommodating and professional. They are a joy to spend the day with. Not only does your company make moving easy and stress free for a family, it is such a joy to find a company that is not giving me hassle, with poor workmanship and trying to beat me for every dollar. In addition to how wonderful these guys are and how great your company is, I can't believe your prices. They are not just fair, they are more than fair. In fact, after every move, I wonder if I paid you enough. I will always use your company to move and have recommended you to all my contacts and people who ask me about getting a mover. This was an absolute joke! I was quoted NO more than 14k for our move from SanFrancisco, CA to Atlanta, GA by talking to [redacted] over the phone! He sent a contractor out in CA, who varified the 14k move! They never confirmed the movers and the day before my husband finally got a time they would arrive on moving day (between 8 & 10a)... XO Moving company came and immediately said it would be around $17k but they could pack 14k worth of stuff and leave the rest or we could pay more! The next day they arrived late, and were there until way late when we have a 1, 4 & 5 year old! [redacted] also originally quoted us 5-7 days for our things to arrive, but it took almost 3 weeks! And when it arrived, the the two men were exhausted from being up all night driving the one was so rude and slept half of the time and the other did as much as he could! They ended up having to hire two random guys from Craigslist to come help them! I told them the beds and crib needed to be up by 6:30 as my kids hadn't napped all day and needed to get to bed and they did not care and got them up by 8p... crib was broken, pottery barn end table was broken, baby dresser leg was broken off, a trash can was dented and when I contacted their "customer service" they are not caring and just said I get .60 to the dollar!! I could go on but am out of time!!!

International Van Lines is so convenient and makes moving a breeze. Living out-of-state can make moving into a new apartment hard. IVL movers makes it easy to store your stuff and not worry over the summer. Everyone who works for them is wonderful and make moving stress free.

I'm not quite sure where to start with this review. The short version is as follows. My wife and I paid IVL over $7,000 to move us from New Jersey to Indiana. We were told that the movers would wait to deliver our items to the destination until we arrived a few days later. The next day, I received a call telling me that they were going to deliver the items the following day, with or without us.
Since we were not present for the delivery, the movers were downright careless with our items. Many hard plastic boxes were broken, and virtually all of the cardboard boxes ended up in terrible shape. Several pieces of furniture were also destroyed.
Furthermore, the movers ignored our request to spread the items across the storage unit so that they would be easier to access. We had arranged for a unit that was roughly twice the size that we needed in order to make this task easier. In spite of this, the movers stacked our items haphazardly on top of each other, with furniture piled on top of fragile items, all the while leaving half of the floor space unused. We had to hire local movers just to rearrange our items in such a way that we could access them. Those movers said that the way that the IVL movers had arranged our items was "scary" and felt that their behavior was downright dangerous.
When I voiced my displeasure to the company, I was initially ignored. Once I was finally spoken to, the manager attempted to intimidate me into accepting an appallingly small sum of "hush money." He assured me that their lawyers would bully us into either accepting a pitifully small settlement (and signing an agreement preventing us from telling anyone about our horrifying experience) or take them to court, which he assured me would be stacked against us.
My conscience prevented me from taking the deal. I felt obligated to let others know about our horrendous experience, in the hope that future customers will be able to avoid this misery. This is not a company that can be trusted to handle your belongings, and it is not a company with enough integrity to fix their mistakes. Do not, under any circumstances, entrust your possessions to them.

International Van Lines is a great moving company! The inventory list on the website was easy to use and I received a quote in 24 hours. I spoke with him who was very helpful and answered all of my questions. The movers met me at the storage unit on June 25th and was had extra protective covers on hand to make sure nothing would be damaged. They were super friendly, fast & careful. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for good service and reasonable moving rates.

I have a terrible experience with International Van Lines.
First. I paid packing service in full and requested to come early. The movers came after 3:00 PM. I called many times but they kept saying they will arrive within one hour. They came to my house after 3:00 PM without any appology. the mover were very rude. they used my phone charger without asking to me. They asked me tips for such a terrible services. the mover are sub contractor not even IVL employees. I complainted to IVL account manager and he said they are not their employees no applogy for the delay nor terrible service.

Second, no follow up or no status update from IVL.
I am moving to abroad and initially I was told shipment will take two months but so far it has been delayed upto four months. I asked several times for the status and still don't know when I will receive my shipment.

third, I have to pay in full at the begining, otherwise my shipment is not moving. I paid full now I don't know where my shipment is.

this is not a professional moving service company at all. Don't use this company. it is most terrible moving experience for me so far.

My experience with IVL made my move the best ever. I've moved before and moving can be more than stressful but this time with IVL moving was really a breeze. These guys went above and beyond the call of duty to make it a quick easy and affordable experience. I'll surely be recommending this company. I'm actually looking forward to my next move!

This letter is to commend and thank your driver for his professionalism and excellent attitude during my parents move. It was two days of packing and loading with several added complications. He showed up a half an hour early and was already organized and unloading when I met him. We didn't finish the last delivery until 8:00pm and throughout he was unfailingly cheerful, energetic and positive. I would heartily recommend this moving team to anyone and want to pass on my gratitude for making the move as easy and pleasurable as possible.

I have moved a lot in the past, from different states, but my experience with IVL was the worst possible experience. 1. I got one day off to stay home as I was told they would come between 10-11, but they came around 7 pm! The movers do NOT care about your time at all. 2. The movers took my apartment entrance card with them, and never returned my call! 3. More than 3 weeks past from the pick up date (July 25th) and still the delivery date is NOT known as of today (Aug 12th). 4. The person who they assigned to help your move, will never reply your phone calls, or emails, just like that.
I will never ever use IVL nightmare service again (if one can call it service).

I would like to pass on my thanks for a great move and great team. I have moved several times in the past and memories are not the best, but our latest move with IVL was a pleasure! I am satisfied and I will recommend you to all the people I know.

When my son got admission in a med school in NJ, we decided to move there for good. But settling home and business in a new city seemed like a big challenge, especially as far as logistics were concerned. Thanks to IVL, everything was carried out to perfection. When we made research online and asked various moving companies for quotes, we unanimously decided on IVL as the reviews seemed to be great and the pricing was reasonable enough. The services they gave were impeccable, with attention to the minutest details and highly professional work practices. Each person involved in the job was fully committed at giving his best and the result was a pleasant and hassle free moving experience. Both our home as well as office was moved to the new location right in time and with zero damage. I give 10 on 10 to IVL for such wonderful and client friendly service.
