Thank you for the information you provided in your complaint. Interstate National Dealer Services, Inc. ("Interstate") takes consumer complaints very seriously. Recently, Interstate has been receiving reports that telemarketers have been making improper solicitations to consumers and identifying themselves as "National Dealer Services," "Dealer Services," "Internet Auto," or by other similar, generic names. Due to the similarity between these names and our own, when someone attempts to identify the company, for example by Googling "National Dealer Services," Interstate is often mistakenly identified as the source of the calls. In some instances, Interstate has been advised that these telemarketers will go so far as to provide our website information if the authenticity of the call is questioned. These telemarketers are not calling our behalf.

We are sorry to hear about these frustrating solicitations. Interstate has been making a diligent effort to identify the specific entity or entities behind these calls. However, because the callers disguise their true identity by utilizing bogus or spoofed phone numbers, locating and identifying them has proven extremely difficult. Our efforts to identify these telemarketers are ongoing. In addition, Interstate has notified multiple government entities, including the Federal Trade Commission ("FTC") and the Attorneys General of all fifty states, about these telemarketing activities. We will continue our efforts to try to identify the companies and marketers behind the calls.

This company is calling multiple times a day, from different numbers that I cannot call back. I have asked to be put on the do not call list every single time and they still keep calling. When I talk to a person and ask to taken off their list they hang up on me. This is harassment. I feel like need to change my phone number to make it stop.

This scam company continues to contact me on my cell phone at least once a week in spite of requesting to be removed from their call list. When I asked to speak to a representative, Dewayne was the mn who picked up and just laughed at me. This company clearly feeds on people who don't know any better. I have never had services from this company and they will not stop harassing me. Shut them down. If they call me one more time I will contact the secretary of state and file a lawsuit.

This company calls me daily trying to sell me an "extended auto warranty". They have the option to be removed from the call list and after multiple times selecting that option, they are still calling. When I try to get the issue resolved with a customer representative they just hang up on me, and I get a call the next day. Please stop calling me. I am not interested in your product. This is one of those companies making a false claim about your car warranty through unsolicited phone call. I have no idea how this is not cracked down on, I am now receiving at least three calls a day from companies like this one. They rudely hang up if you so much as say anything besides your car information.

Two of the numbers that just called me are
1-701-343-2702
1-979-726-5555

I doubt it's even helpful, it seems like they are now able to spoof peoples cell phones. I have received angry texts personally for being a 'spam caller'

I have to take the companies word that they are not responsible for the spam calling and that's a sad thing, because no evidence exists in or against their favor. The FTC needs to put more effort into dealing with this absolute criminal activity.

This company calls me at least once a day. They are trying to sell me an extended warranty for my car. I have repeatedly asked to be put on the do not call list but they continue to call daily. All the phone numbers are in my area code so I think it's a local call. When I return the call I am told it's a non-working number. I want this harassment to stop.

This business has call me multiple times from a multitude of numbers for a 'last attempt to reach me before they close out my file? I always press 2 to be placed on their do not calling list to no avail. This regularly infringes on my work and have even been called as early as 6am. This company needs to stop calling me. National dealer services engages in aggressive and unscrupulous advertising. I receive numerous calls weekly showing a local phone number on my caller ID. When I answer the call it is an automated system informing me that they have been attempting to reach me regarding my cars extended warranty. I have the option to unsubscribe and have done so through their automated system on at least a dozen occasions. I have also attempted to block the local number they used to contact me. They call from multiple phone numbers so it's impossible to block and my requests to unsubscribe have never been upheld. Additionally their advertising found it on my cars warranty expiration is unfounded. When I changed tactics and answered the call and selected the option to speak with someone about my car is extended warranty they immediately asked Me for the make and model of my car. I responded that if they knew my warranty was expiring they should have that information already. They then hung up on me. I want to stop these and less calls and needs terrible business practices. Please let me know if there's any additional information you need
Product_Or_Service: Car warranty

Desired Outcome

Modification/discontinuance of I would like their advertising practices to be refined in order to show company name on caller ID and the phone number from which they are calling from. I would also like for the option to unsubscribe to actually work. Finally I'd like to never be contacted by them again

This company calls my phone at least 10 times a day, masking their number with a local number and a name. I have asked to be removed from their calling list MULTIPLE times, whether its by pressing 9, which just disconnects, or by speaking with a live agent that simply disconnects after I ask. I receive robocalls from National Dealer Services daily and have for the past month. It's an automated service to sell me an extended vehicle warranty. There's an option to press #2 and be removed from the call list, which I've done several times but the calls do not stop. I've spoken twice to an actual person and asked to be removed from the list to no avail. I have at least 10 blocked numbers on my cell phone all from this company. They call from different numbers all with a New Jersey 908 area code, which is the area code for my sell phone.

I purchased an AssureGuard Ultimate Guard extended car warranty in 2016. In February 2018, I used the extended warranty to replace the turbo oil lines in my car. At the time the company did not charge me for any of the hourly shop fees. In March 2018, my car's engine spun a bearing and caused the engine to no longer be operable. AssureGuard replaced the engine in late April 2018, but charged me $1,600.00 in shop fees to discover the causation of the engine failure. It does mention that once a part is replaced, they would pay for the claim entirely (with the exception of non-covered parts).
Product_Or_Service: AssureGuard Ultimate Guard

Desired Outcome

Refund I would like to be reimbursed for the $1,600.00 in shop fees, especially when they covered the previous claim and didn't put in the contract that I would have to pay for a 'teardown' even if the part was covered.

Revolos, formerly Interstate National Dealer Services, received a complaint from *** regarding the fees she was charged by her repair facility.

Dear Ms.,
We reviewed your case and concluded that we cannot authorize additional reimbursement toward the cost of the teardown. Your contract states, "We will pay on behalf of or reimburse You for the reasonable costs to repair or replace any of the parts included in Your Coverage that cause a Failure." When we calculated the cost that we paid towards this diagnosis and repair we used a National Labor Guide, Alldata, which provided us with the nationally recognized industry standard for the number of labor hours that it should take to perform the service on your specific vehicle. You may want to ask your repair facility how they calculated the additional dollar amount that you were charged and compare that to what we paid on the claim. You may view our claim authorization on our website at http://www.inds.com/consumers.asp.

I receive ridiculous amounts of calls for my 'expired auto warranty'. I have chosen the option to be removed from the call list multiple times. Every time I attempt to talk to a representative to inquire about the company or opt out, they hang the phone up on me. If I try to call the numbers back, they aren't even real phone numbers. I don't even own a car.

Purchased a service contract for my 2012 Chrysler 300 and made a claim for repairs. We were extremely pateint while this company worked with my repair shop, an inspector came to verify the claim but did not drive the vehicle so my shop was unsatisfied due to the severity of the repair necessary and requested that he come back to complete the inspection properly as he refused to drive the vehicle the first time. After the car was deemed unsafe, the warranty company refused to authorize the core component parts in need, stating that my repair facility did a poor job of making the main issue known. I don't understand how after they demanded a proper inspection due to negligence on the part of the warranty company and their hired inspector. After 3 weeks of daily contact with both the warranty company and my repair shop, who both the shop guys and myself had told EVERYONE about what was in need of repair from the very beginning, the main core components that are causing the vehicle to be unsafe were not authorized for repair. So all of the other parts that come off of the control arm and center wheel hub were replaced, but not the hub or arm themselves. The car is now in more of an unsafe condition because of this, with further damage being caused due to new parts applied to broken and failing parts that hold them all together.

Interstate National Dealer Services Response • Feb 28, 2019

In response to Revdex.com complaint case # XXXXXXXX - Contract # XXXXXXXX-AAG
Revolos, formerly Interstate National Dealer Services, received a complaint from *** regarding a partial claim denial.

In your repair facility's initial report to us, we were advised that both of your vehicle's front upper control arm bushings were split and the ball joints had excessive play. In addition, the repair facility reported that the hub assembly had excessive play. During our claim examination, we ultimately received two inspection reports that were produced by an independent and unbiased inspector. The inspector's purpose was to verify the failures reported by your repair facility. The inspector was unable to verify failures to the upper control arm bushings and ball joints. The inspector attempted to verify the failure to the front wheel hub bearing, but could not do so without taking the vehicle for a test drive. The inspector recorded that your repair facility's technician was unwilling to take the vehicle for a test drive. So these were the items that were denied coverage on this claim: the upper control arm bushings and ball joints and front wheel hub bearing. The other failures reported by your repair facility were verified and subsequently authorized on your claim. We have had multiple conversations with you regarding this claim. We have advised you that this claim could be reexamined if either this repair facility that you used or another repair facility that you take your vehicle to can demonstrate the failures to these items. Until the failures can be verifiable demonstrated, we will not be participating any further in this claim. At this time the customer has since cancelled their policy. We wish to close this complaint.

Customer Response • Mar 01, 2019

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
On an almost daily basis both my shop and myself were in contact with this company in regards to this claim. Upon the first visit from the inspector, after he refused to drive my vehicle to demonstrate the failure that the shop was trying to relay to him, my shop felt that he did an unsatisfactory job of thoroughly examining the car which means driving it to demonstrate the failure that is in question. my shop requested that the inspector come back a second time to do just that which he did came to drive the vehicle in an effort to express the utmost failure of the part in question. again on a daily basis my shop was in contact with me my shop was in contact with the service company we let them know from day one what the exact issues were. from day one and every single day after until this process led us to the Revdex.com. there have been many different claims that the service warranty company has made all of which I have been able to prove my hardship and prove the fact that they were negligent in the repairs of my vehicle. I will also have my repair shop file a complaint as well because they were literally involved with them every step of the way informed them of every part necessary for the repairs. As of right now the vehicle is unsafe to drive due to the fact that the main parts in question were denied. The initial claim stated that this denied part was the main cause of the problem. The service warranty company stated that they hired the inspector as a third partyand that it is not their normal practice to send an inspector a second time but because he did not drive the vehicle and my shop demanded that he do so to confirm the severity of the necessary repair. Why would a repair shop demand that an inspector return because his inspection was unsatisfactory if they weren't trying to convey the severity of this part needing replacement I feel like a broken record. this has been an ongoing conversation almost daily when dealing with the service warranty company every single day they were told about the same exact problem and my or my family's safety was never taken into considerationas now the vehicle is undriveable duedue to the extreme documenteddocument of the parts that they denied to fix. I cannot understand how a company whoose product and service was paid in full at their ultimate level which includes wear and tear from bumper to bumper will authorize the repairs of smaller less important parts thatattached to the main problem how can you put brand new parts on a broken center spindle support and expect it to perform properly? It doesn't. Instead it puts my safety at risk. Again due to the fact that they denied the repair of the center hub and lower control arms, the vehicle is now incapacitated and I am without a car further. This is all due to their negligence in regards to my claim. also in a copy of the inspectors report that I had received he had stated as if my vehicle was in a collision which it was not.I clearly have a Carfax report stating that there was no collision prior to my purchase of the vehicle and I myself have never hit anything or have had anyone hit me while driving this vehicle.I do not understand why he would insinuate such a claim in the first place, this was not a claim for any type of body damage, only parts in need of repair the main part being the center hub and lower control arms. I will be having my shop make a statement to you as well as this is become one of the most horrifying experiences I have ever endured with a company that I paid in full for their top-level teir of service for. again the problems were relayed from the very beginning they were part of the very first initial claim the very first day that this all began I don't know what the service warranty company failed to process or why the service company would hire someone who makes false statements to inspect vehicles for their customers Kumar paid in full for their top-level tier of servi this is redundant and I feel like a broken record as this has beenagain this is redundant and I feel like a broken record as this has been delayed to every party and individual involved right from day one. once again I'm going to insinuate the the fact that my vehicle is now considered unsafe for myself and my family due to the service warranty companies failure to recognize the claim from the very beginning. I do not believe that I should have to seek another shop especially after my shop was the one that demanded the inspector come back because they were unsatisfied with his inspection and felt that he was incomplete and incompetent when it came down tothe most important part of this claim the center hub and lower control arms the very parts that the service warranty people denied. Again my auto technician Josh will be making a statement to the Revdex.com as well as we feel that they are slandering my chosen auto shop by stating that they did a poor job of belaying information. I don't feel that's true because they called me every single day and they call the service warranty people every single day to verify and confirm that we were all on the same page which obviously the service contract people were not.

Thank you for the opportunity to address your concerns, as we strive to provide excellent service to our customer your request cannot be approved. The terms of your vehicle service were executed beyond our standard operating procedures. Your repair facility confirmed the failure of the cause and the extent of that damage. Once that was completed they prepared an estimate for the repairs and on your behalf relayed that information to our claim adjusters. If deemed necessary, the claims adjuster may elect to send an inspector out to confirm failures reported by the repair facility. We rely heavily on the ability of your trained technician. In this case, the failures reported by your technician were not able to be verified on the first attempt. A second inspection was authorized, but your repair facility still could not provide a failure. The second inspection was a gesture to display our willingness to meet the customer's expectations. We understand the inconvenience this claim process has had on you. In our previous response, you were given an option to move your vehicle if you chose to. In regards to your comment about the safety of your vehicle, we do not recommend you continue to operate your vehicle with a known failure condition. The contract offers to tow your vehicle as a benefit. Your decision to remain at your previous repair facility does not constitute neglect or lack of service on our part. The claim decision was open for review at your request before you canceled the policy. We wish to close this complaint.

I have a current extended warranty on my 2006 American Eagle Coach. I bought the coach with the extended warranty. I took it to an RV dealer for it's annual maintenance in early 2019. The hydrahot needed repairing/replacing. The company is refusing to replace the item even though the hydrahot is included in the warranty. The coach was in the repair show waiting on a response from the company.
Most time it would take days to get a response. Each day they would request another piece of information that I feel they were trying to find a loophole note to replace the hydrahot. The company first tried to state they would replace it with an ATWOOD water heater, but that does not work since the hydrahot controls both heating the coach and hot water. The insurance then requested from us to show that we had purchased the coach...did that. The insurance then requested they we show the maintenance on the coach..did that. We missed one year of maintenance and now they are denying to replace the item. I was without the coach for over a week ... ruined food in the refrigerator. Yep that is covered under the extended warranty as well. Nothing received!
Product_Or_Service: Extended Warranty
Account_Number: XXXXXXX-MH

Desired Outcome

Repair The company knows that the hydrahot can be repaired by sending it back to the manufacturer. It will have to be rebuilt since they do not want to purchase a new one. I also want reimbursement for hotels, meals, and spoilage of food since I had to wait days before they would respond with another request from us.

In response to Revdex.com complaint case # XXXXXXXX - Contract # XXXXXXX-MH
Revolos, formerly Interstate National Dealer Services, received a complaint from *** regarding a claim denial.

Item 7 under the Terms and Conditions of your vehicle service contract states, "MAINTENANCE REQUIREMENTS: You must maintain Your Unit according to the manufacturer's recommendations as outlined in the owner's manual. Your owner's manual has separate required maintenance schedules for "normal" and "more severe" operating conditions. You are required to follow the maintenance schedule that applies to Your conditions. You must be sure only the proper grade of lubricants and coolants, as recommended by the manufacturer, is used in Your Unit. It is necessary for You to retain verifiable receipts for all parts and materials necessary to perform the required maintenance. If necessary, this documentation will
be verified by the Administrator."

Your owner's manual indicates that annual maintenance on the Hydro-Hot system is needed. We confirmed with the dealer that the last maintenance service performed on the system was in August 2016. Your claim was denied due to insufficient maintenance.

Customer Response • Feb 26, 2019

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The 2006 coach was bought in 2015. We have kept appropriate fluids in at all times. The amount of damage to the boiler box was due to prior damage, not by us. We take great care of the unit. Why was there inquiry of other replacement systems if you were not initially thinking of replacing?

Interstate National Dealer Services Response • Mar 05, 2019

If this is the case, the damage to the boiler box was due to prior damage and not by yourself, it is still not eligible for coverage. Item M in the exclusions of your vehicle service contract states, "This service contract provides no coverage or benefits for ... any failure occurring prior to the contract purchase date."

This company spoofs their caller ID number making it appear to be a local call. They call at least once per day always stating that your car warranty is expired. They give you the option to selct 1 to speak to a rep or 2 to be removed. Selecting 2 never removes you as they continue to call. If you select 1 and speak to someone they refuse to tell you their return phone number or tell you they have no phone number and then hang up. This is a business cell phone they keep calling and we have no company cars. Their continued calling is a harassment of our business.

Desired Outcome

No further contact by the busi These organizations need to be providing real return contact information so you have a chance of making them stop contacting you. It should be illegal for them to not provide a way of stopping their constant robo calling

Despite requesting to be placed on their "do not call" list, I continue to to get call from this company about extending my auto warranty. I do have a warranty, but it is through the auto manufacturer. I have probably selected the option to be on their "do not call" list at least monthly for over a year. Today I selected options to talk to a representative. They said they were with National Dealer Services. When I asked where they were located they hung up. It seems like they are completely ignoring the request for people to be placed on a do not call list, which seems illegal or at the very least annoying.

Desired Outcome

No further contact by the busi For them to respect the request to be placed on the do not call list!
