Interstate National Dealer Services Reviews (%countItem)

National Dealer Services calls multiple times a day from multiple phone numbers that appear to be local numbers. They offer the opportunity to push "1" to be put on a 'do not call' list, which I did several times, but then continue to call. I block their number every time, and they continue to call from other numbers. I have spoken to customer service representatives twice. I asked the first to put me on their do not call list, and he hung up on me. (Calls continued.) I asked the second time to be connected to her supervisor so I could talk to them about why I have asked to be put on their do not call list but continue to receive calls. She told me she had other customers who needed her attention and that I was wasting HER time!! And then hung up on me. I don't know what this company really does, but I'm guessing they just track when people answer their phones so they can sell the data to other companies. They have no interest in serving customers or respecting do not call requests. I want it to stop and ideally the company owners to be tormented with annoying calls day and night.

Desired Outcome

No further contact by the busi I want assurance from the company that they will not contact me again and then for the calls to actually STOP.

Interstate National Dealer Services Response • Dec 02, 2018

Thank you for the information you provided in your complaint. Interstate National Dealer Services, Inc. ("Interstate") takes consumer complaints very seriously. Recently, Interstate has been receiving reports that telemarketers have been making improper solicitations to consumers and identifying themselves as "National Dealer Services," "Dealer Services," "Internet Auto," or by other similar, generic names. Due to the similarity between these names and our own, when someone attempts to identify the company, for example by Googling "National Dealer Services," Interstate is often mistakenly identified as the source of the calls. In some instances, Interstate has been advised that these telemarketers will go so far as to provide our website information if the authenticity of the call is questioned. These telemarketers are not calling our behalf.

We are sorry to hear about these frustrating solicitations. Interstate has been making a diligent effort to identify the specific entity or entities behind these calls. However, because the callers disguise their true identity by utilizing bogus or spoofed phone numbers, locating and identifying them has proven extremely difficult. Our efforts to identify these telemarketers are ongoing. In addition, Interstate has notified multiple government entities, including the Federal Trade Commission ("FTC") and the Attorneys General of all fifty states, about these telemarketing activities. We will continue our efforts to try to identify the companies and marketers behind the calls.

This company continues to call my mobile phone repeatedly using local numbers in the caller I'd. When I call these local numbers back, it is NOT the company that has called me. I have pressed '2? numerous times to be removed from this companies call list. I receive several of these a day. When I do accept the call and get a live agent, they will hang up on me when I begin asking for address or phone information.

Desired Outcome

No further contact by the busi I want to be permanently removed from this companies database. I am already on the do not call list.

I had this warranty for my '06 Dodge shortly after I bought it. They were very clear with me as to what was and was not covered. Their contract is complete on this matter and I made sure I knew it before buying. I was never let down with it and would "highly" recommend them because "when your car breaks down, and it will" they will back every thing that they said they would. Advice: know your contract. It may save some aggravation down the road.

Interstate National Dealer Services/Warranty Direct greatly appreciate Mr. positive feedback. We will continue to provide the ultimate motorist experience and concierge service.

Warranty was purchase along with used Car purchase. I was basically advised that this was a Bumper to Bumper warranty with almost no exclusions. The reason for upgrading to Diamond. Nothing mentioned in the presentation about the consumer being caught in the middle of a payment amount between dealer and Warranty co. I was basically told it needed to be taken to a Certified repair center. Thus, taking it to Chevy Service Center, which in this case was needed for the computer programming of the heater control module. The customer has no control over pricing. In this case customer had no control over who could do this repair. The warranty company had delayed, refused, stated one thing to the customer and another to the Service Center and basically has refused to provide payment as advised by Certified Service provider to have the Customers Vehicle Repaired. This refusal has left the customer without a car for more than a week. On top of that , the bogus, rental option is based on labor hours which is what the Warranty company is refusing to adjust . Also the rental car coverage does not take into considerations , delays caused by both the dealer and warranty company. The car is in the shop, warranty is refusing to pay the bill, which would leave me paying for any rental fees charged. Even at best they will provide 1 day rental for the 7 days they have caused my vehicle to be out of service and in the shop. NOT MUCH OF A Warranty and serves of very little purpose to the customer. More of a smoke and mirrors thing.

Finish the job I feel the Warranty Company should have considered the extenuating circumstances for this repair despite what their book says. This Vehicle is computer controlled . After physically dismantalling to gain access to the Control Module and instaling it further time is spent with programming and testing. I have to even admit that 1 1/2 hr labor is rediculous. THE VEHICLE SHOULD BE REPAIRED AND RETURNED TO THE CUSTOMER WITHOUT FURTHER DELAY & DEDUCTIBLE WAIVED FOR THE WEEK + WITHOUT A CAR OVER THIS

Interstate National Dealer Services Response • Nov 27, 2018

We apologize, but we are not able to locate your contract with the information that's been provided to us. So that we can assist you, could you please provide either the year and make of the vehicle with the last six digits of the VIN or the contract number?

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
This kind of response is Exactly How they dealt with the Claim for Repairs to My 2013 Chevy Volt. Continual denial of receiving what the Dealer was sending. Eventually after 2 weeks and a final Voice call from the dealer which lasted more than 20 minutes they agreed to about 60% of the labor to do the repair and about 80% of the part cost. The dealerswhip agreed to get the customers car back after two weeks in the shop.

Contract # XXXXXXXX-VQ

Because of this 10 refusal to pay requested labor to Service Shop I was left without a Vehicle and many days and nights of stress and concern about the Warranty I Purchased. I Paid as requested for the Warranty so I feel that now the Warranty Company should provide required payment , without delaying my vehicle repair.

Customer Response • Dec 12, 2018

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The system that is used to receive requested information seems to be a large part of the problem. The dealer showed me several verifications of the information being sent to the email address given to them . Each time the response to the email was you will hear from us in anywhere from 4hrs to 24hrs. Because the Warranty company did not locate the information does not mean the Dealer did not send it. This time of finding information , denying more labor hrs as advised from dealer and providing a low payment rate cost their customer many hours of their time to rectify as well as the stress and greif and not having a vehicle for many days . Eventually the Warranty Co and Dealer were able to come to an agreement but not until after the customer was without a car for roughly 3 weeks with a lot of added stress about the repair bill.

Interstate National Dealer Services Response • Dec 21, 2018

We appreciate your feedback about the system that we use to receive requested information. We are always striving to improve our procedures and make them more efficient. The system you're referring to is soon to be upgraded. The verifications that your dealer showed you are simply confirmation emails that are automatically sent to notify the sender that their email was received. Those verifications don't reflect what the sender actually sent. This is one item we are correcting in the system upgrade. We did receive the emails your dealer advised you of, but it wasn't until 11/19/18 that we received the documentation we needed to justify the number of labor hours requested. Initially on 11/14/18, your repair facility requested 6.5 labor hours for a Heater Coolant Heater Replacement on a 2013 Chevrolet Volt. The national labor guide that we used to calculate the labor hours showed the procedure should take 1.5 labor hours. Later that same day, your repair facility called to renegotiate the labor hours to 4.6, based on what they said was the published hours for the repair and diagnostics per the General Motors warranty. They said they would send documentation to substantiate the request. When we hadn't received the documentation later in the day on 11/14/18, we called your shop, spoke with Alexa, and ensured she had the fax and email that it could be sent to. By 11/16/18, we still hadn't received the documentation from your shop. At that time our claims manager authorized your claim for the 1.5 labor hours substantiated in the national labor guide. Finally, on 11/19/18, your shop sent us the published hours for this procedure from the General Motors warranty. The documentation they sent stated the repair should take 3.6 labor hours and 0.3 hours in diagnostics. At that time, we authorized your claim for 3.9 labor hours . You'll notice that 3.9 labor hours is what is published in the General Motors warranty and varies from your repair facility's previously requested labor hours of 4.6. After we authorized your claim on 11/19/18, we had no further participation in the repair. We cannot answer the question as to why your vehicle was in the shop for 3 weeks. We were first notified of the failure on 11/14/18 and authorized the claim on 11/19/18. The fact that your vehicle remained in the shop for 3 weeks for what General Motors deems a 3.9 hour repair is a question you may want to pose to your repair facility.

I have received 6 robotic calls from in the past month from a company identifying themselves as 'National Dealer Services? concerning my vehicle's 'expiring extended warranty'. My vehicle has no extended warranty, and never has. On 5 of these calls I have selected the suggested option of '2? on my phone to be placed on the DO NOT CALL list, but the company has continued to call, now becoming de facto harassment, a legally actionable offense. On the 6th call, I spoke to a woman identifying herself as *** who immediately asked for my personal information. I requested a business phone number and address, and my call was immediately disconnected. Upon calling the number *** back, I received a message from my wireless carrier explaining this number was not in service, suggesting the phone number is clandestinely re-routed and disguised. Businesses without a legitimate phone number and physical address are known to be involved in malicious activities. I have concerns that this company may be preying on senior citizens and other vulnerable populations who are commonly taken advantage of by these types of schema.

Thank you for the response. Unfortunately because of the privacy concerns that initiated this complaint, I am not comfortable giving my contact information. If this activity does not sound like your company's actions, there may be a malicious entity misrepresenting themselves as your company. I suggest contacting the FBI, FCC, and/or FTC to investigate the possibility of a malicious entity misrepresenting your company.

They repeatedly keep calling me to try to 'renew the warranty' on my car that I never had in the first place. They refuse to verify information on their end, and insist on only gathering personal information from me. Any time I ask for detail about the warranty they're talking about, or why they keep calling me, they keep running me around in a circle telling me that my warranty is expired and telling me nothing other than that. The calls seem like a scam, they are unsolicited and at random hours throughout the day. I asked to not be called and they still keep calling me.

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)

My car was taken to my repair shop due to a loud noise coming from under the car. The shop told me that it was a transfer case bearing.

My warranty with INDS clearly states that my "Extended Powertrain Warranty" covers the transfer case and all internally lubricated parts.

I told my shop to submit the claim to INDS. INDS then instructed my shop to completely disassemble the transfer case and then report back to them as to what they believe caused the bearing to fail.

My shop reported a failed bearing and a stretched drive chain, both within the transfer case. The claims department at INDS then denied my claim and stated the reasoning for denial was because the noted condition falls under a "wear and tear" condition.

The whole reason for having a warranty on a powertrain is so that if something were to fail prematurely, it is covered under warranty. The bearing and drive chain are both "internally lubricated parts" within the transfer case.

INDS claims that the chain and the bearing are susceptible to wear and therefore I am not covered.

Virtually every single condition a car could have could be technically "wear and tear".

A transfer case bearing is an internally lubricated part and is not exposed to 1/10 of the hazardous conditions a wheel bearing is. None of my wheel bearings have had to be replaced (car has 101,000 miles), yet the transfer case bearing fails? Because of wear'

I was able to provide maintenance records as well showing that I indeed changed the front/rear differential fluids and transfer case fluids back at 90,000 miles.

INDS even refused to send out an inspector to check the transfer case. They claimed that the way my shop reported the condition, that INDS did not need to send someone out.

I spoke with my shop multiple times and they tried to resubmit the claim multiple times, even stating that they do not believe this was a case of wear and tear. Still no inspector was sent.

INDS twists the words of the shop to fit their literature to avoid paying any claim.
Product_Or_Service: Extended Powertrain Warrany

Desired Outcome

Refund I would like a full refund for the repair I had to pay for to fix my car. The repair that should have been paid for by INDS.

Interstate National Dealer Services Response • Nov 27, 2018

In response to Revdex.com complaint case# *** - Contract# ***-SRB
Interstate National Dealer Services (INDS) received a complaint from *** regarding his claim denial.

A supervisor reviewed this for you again and agrees that the language of your contract supports the claim denial. Your contract states, "A Failure refers to the Failure of a defective part or faulty workmanship as supplied by the Manufacturer or Dealer, but does not include gradual reduction in operating performance due to wear or tear or damage resulting from Failure of non-covered parts." The cause of failure reported to your vehicle's transfer case was that the chain was stretched and two bearings were worn out. This is considered wear and tear, and not eligible for coverage under the terms and conditions of your contract. If you disagree with your repair facility's diagnosis of the cause of failure, then you have the option to take the vehicle to another repair facility. If the cause of failure had been reported to us as something other than wear and tear, it is possible that we would have ordered an independent inspector to verify the facility's findings. As it stands, there was no reason to send an inspector as the initial diagnosis by this repair facility was wear and tear.

Product_Or_Service: No clue - they wont tell me

Desired Outcome

Other (requires explanation) I want them to either stop calling me completely, or to tell me in very clear terms EXACTLY what they're calling me for, what they're selling, how they got my information, and who they are. Then I'd like them to respect my wishes when I tell them to stop calling me, which I've already done multiple times.

I get repeated robocalls weekly from this company about a warranty for a F-150. I don't own a truck and there is no option to stop the calls. They hang up when I try to get them to remove me from their call list yet they continue to call my cell number sometime multiple times a day.

They also mask their phone number/area code so it appears that it is a local phone number that is calling. Some sketchy marketing practices going on within this company. Should be looked into and investigated.

I have been considering this company for a warranty because everyone I talked to *** the service and support this company provides. I have found out that competitors hate this company so they will call and identity themselves as the competitor in order to post fake negative reviews.

If you are trying to post on Revdex.com that you are angry because you are getting calls, "shut the *** up" and Revdex.com immediately remove such worthless complaints. Only individuals who have purchased a warranty that can be verified by the Revdex.com should be allowed on here not the "meth heads" who work for competitor companies who are harassing this company.

I am in law school and I have twenty years in information technology all the way to the top of running technology departments up to 200 people and this is a good company who doesn't need competitors who are *** placing ads about calls. I want to tell the Revdex.com that these complaints about calls don't have a Dam thing to do with the warranty and that the warranty should be verified by you or removed.

Revdex.com step in and delete these fake competitor reviews for the real reviews. If you dont remove these reviews next I will see complaints on the Diet Coke machine being empty at Kwik Trip on the way to get the car repaired and how these people just couldn't get survive without their favorite soda. Revdex.com remove the other reviews and I advise the company to seek legal action against these individuals. If they have no proof then lets start the litigation process against these fake competitor ads so I can read real reviews.

I too was denied a repair on my car. Cost me $2600 bumper to bumper warranty. It was a bmw part that was named differently from Germany. They said, the part was not on OUR list, so I was denied. They are crooks and will try anything they can to deny your claims.

Interstate National Dealer Services Response • Sep 13, 2018

In order to address this complaint we need more information about the customer. Contract number, vin number name and address.

My experience is horrible. I cannot even give them a one. I highly recommend that you stay away from this company. Do not purchase a warranty with their name on it because it will be wortless.

Interstate National Dealer Services Response • Aug 09, 2018

We apologize that you had a negative experience with our company. Without more information though, we cannot address the specific concern here. When we reviewed your account we did not find any record of you having called to speak with us. We invite to contact our member services department at 1-800-942-0400, option 2, if you are having any difficulties with your contract or the claims handling process. Our member services representatives are here to work on your behalf to help resolve any concerns you may have.

This is by far the worst experience that I have ever had dealing with anyone's customer service. The company as a whole does not understand working together. I had a millage problem from when my son purchased the vehicle do to an error on the customer services representatives entering it incorrectly. I did everything that INDS asked me to do to correct it and after three long weeks and countless hours on the phone they corrected the issue and sent someone to the dealership to look at the car. As if that was not enough they then would not approve the total amount that the dealership was charging for new parts and labor and that left my out of pocket expense at 1276.00 when I was told I had a 100.00 deductible. And when I asked for a supervisor I was advised that none would be available to talk with me. Keep your money and save it to repair your cars cause all this company dose is take your money!!!

Interstate National Dealer Services, Inc. AKA Warranty Directs
June 15, 2018

Warranty Directs is a complete nightmare anyone looking to buy from this company with a late-model vehicle be where I have a 2006 Dodge Dakota 4.7 L four-wheel-drive when I purchased this warranty from direct warranty the mileage on my used truck was about 183,000 miles for almost $3200 direct warranty gave me 100,000 mile warranty.

In June 2018 my transmission had problems with a code of PO -0700 and other 800 codes I took my vehicle to AAMCO transmission repair shop in Dover Delaware they call direct warranty and stated to them that the transmission need to be replaced direct warranty denied my claim the reason they denied my claim is because they stated that it didn't cover parts that wear out only parts that were factory default in our conversation I explained to them if there was a default in the transmission in his earlier days the Dodge people would had a recall and the purpose of getting a warranty for use vehicle is to cover anything that happened while on the road with your transmission and engine in the ladies explanation to me she stated in the contract that it does not cover parts that fail and it was nothing else they could do I stated to her that what was the purpose of giving me a warranty with 100,000 miles and you knowing that the vehicle had over hundred thousand miles they were going to have somewhere out parts either the engine or the transmission so therefore she stated that my warranty that I purchased doesn't help me forewarn out parts and so the warranty that I paid over $3200 for doesn't cover anything I've just gave my money away she asked me did I want to counsel this warranty and try to recuperate some of the money that I paid for this warranty I stated yes.

When buying a warranty from direct warranty and you have a use vehicle any worn out parts of your transmission engine and Cetera would not be covered by this warranty and the salesperson that you would talk to would tell you a complete lie that you are covered for failure parts I strongly recommend that you do not purchase this warranty from this company stay 100 miles away from it.

A very dissatisfied customer Mr.

I was referred to this company for warranty on my 2005 f350 duelly , it's at the shop , the warranty guy came out looked at it said nope DENIED. It's the oil cooler girl injection and the turbo . I wanted the best of the best coverage, I was told fro Kyle B that that's what I got , Straight Up Lied to me now I have a truck broke down cost to fix it $6000 and a warranty that ant worth a ***... people beware of this company there scammers tell you one thing and give you nothing but a big headache.....and on top of that I gave a referral and they ""Kyle B" said oh good each will get 200.00 well as it turns out he gave 200.00 and 200.00 off someone else's policy and dropped my mom cause she no longer has a active policy , but I was told that my mom would receive a check for 200.00 dollars , ant that some *** .....ð??¡ð?¤¬ð??¡ð?¤¬ð??¡
BOTTOM LINE DONT DO BUSINESS With these people.

I have received a Vehicle Document Alert Notice 3 times so far. Each time I called them and asked to be removed from their mailing list. I was assured I would be. I received another one today and called them yet again. The first thing they ask is to confirm the make and model of my car, which thy do not know. It is deceiving and should be unethical. They are phishing but they aren't phishing on me.

I purchased extended warranty Ultimate Guard for my Chevy HHR. I cannot say enough good things about this company. I have had almost all claims paid with no issues. The one that I had an issue with was a clock spring that failed when the front suspension failed. The clock spring was not a covered part and I had to pay for it. All in all not a huge deal considering everything else I had in shop for repairs was covered with zero issues. Everyone I have dealt with at the claims center was helpful, respectful, and friendly. This warranty was well worth the investment and recommended to all my friends, family, and co-workers.
