IT Tech Products Reviews (121)

Review: Received an invoice for $1,726 for toner we did not order. One of our office staff received a call requesting our copier model #, that was all. She did not order any toner from them. The price listed on the invoice is 7 times what we normally pay. This is obviously a scam to get unsuspecting billing departments to pay for items that were never ordered. Based upon review of other complaints-PLEASE put this company out of business. They don't identify their company on their voicemail # ###-###-####. They don't call back. I left a VM to cancel the invoice, and if shipped, we will refuse the shipment.Desired Settlement: 1. I would like confirmation that the invoice has been cancelled. I will not call it an order because it was not ordered. 2. I want our company to be placed on their Do Not Call list, and on ALL their affiliated "businesses" Do Not Call lists. 3. I would appreciate a response from Revdex.com as to why this company is allowed to operate based upon the other complaints and their apparent fraudulent business practices.

We have researched this transaction and have found that the order was cancelled by the customer

because they would prefer to receive products from another supplier. We sent a copy of the cancelled

Thank You.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

My complaint stems from the fact that we were sent an invoice for items we NEVER ORDERED, at grossly inflated prices. It was discovered because we are a small company and the amount was questioned before it was paid. If this company sends phony invoices to larger firms, it seems to me the entire operation is nothing but a scam that persists in the hope some of these fake invoices will be inadvertently paid. Have they ever delivered any toner or supplies to any company that has inadvertently paid one of these invoices? In searching this company online, I found many complaints about it similar to ours.I do not want a "Cancelled Order" for something that was never ordered. I would like an investigation into this company to prevent it from continuing it's deceitful practices.

Regards,

Review: An invoice was sent for products NOT ordered or delivered. This is clearly a scam for businesses to unwittingly pay for products not ordered.Desired Settlement: Would be nice if you could prevent them from sending erroneous invoices out.

Received an invoice for 4 copier toner cartridges that I never ordered. Tried calling to discuss and number out of order.

Review: Our company received three (3) invoices through the US Postal Service from IT Tech Products over the past four months for items not ordered or received. Two of the invoices were paid in error by our company to IT Tech Products and we demand repayment. We have contacted the company and no response has yet been received.Desired Settlement: We would like a full refund of $[redacted] from IT Tech Products for supplies not ordered or received (billed on invoice [redacted] dated 9/29/14 for $[redacted] and invoice 84219 dated 8/14/14 for $[redacted]).

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.I will accept their response as to cancelling the invoice, however, the entire transaction was completely bogus as we never placed an order, nor had any communication with them whatsoever. They have not faxed us any correspondence stating that the invoice is cancelled. As long as this goes away I will be happy, but they are only going to continue to try this scam on other businesses.

Regards,

Review: Today my office received an Invoice, # [redacted], for $1875.68 from IT Tech Products for copier toner I did not order, receive, want, need or will use. I have reported this invoice to my home office in Birmingham, Alabama and was told to file a complaint with you. We will not pay this invoice, we have a contract with a different firm and will not change to IT Tech Products because they assume a relationship, and view this as an attempt at theft and definitely fraud.Desired Settlement: Apparently this firm sends out invoices to unsuspecting companies on a regular basis that aren't linking product use to payment and I think they need to be shut down and the individuals charged with fraud and possibly theft. I certainly view them as criminals and if you look on line, apparently many others do as well. They picked on the wrong company this time.

Good Morning Ms. [redacted],

I wanted to let you know that as of just a moment ago, we received a fax from IT Tech Products cancelling the fake order for toner and voiding the invoice for the same. Attached you’ll find a copy of the fax we received. Thank you so very much for the rapid response you initiated on our behalf that has caused the immediate termination of this false order.

It is amazing to me that such a company still has a license to do business and I am so grateful that the Revdex.com of San Diego is on the job to protect us all. Thank you very, very much.

Regards,

Review: This company billed us for products that were never delivered. We do not order toner for our copiers/printers, that is provided through our maintenance contracts, so there would have been no need for us to order product. One invoice got past me and was paid - a total of $1,690.00. I immediately knew the second one was fraudulent. I have read all the prior Revdex.com complaints filed on this company and their response is that the customer "cancelled" their order. Well, we didn't cancel our order, because we never ordered anything from them and they never shipped anything to us. They sent this in hopes that no one would pay attention and pay it again; as they have done on every invoice they have ever sent out. It's thievery on a new level...targeting companies that are trying to give people employment and a few benefits...so they can make an honest living and take care of their families.

I called the number on the invoice and got a voicemail. I told them that if they think we really owe the money to please call back and argue it with me. No one ever called back.Desired Settlement: We demand full cash reimbursement of the $1,690.00 paid on the first invoice. If not we will have no choice but to take legal action.

Review: I received a call from a person last week, saying they wanted to be sure they were sending the correct toner for our copier and asking for the model number. I was busy and trying to get through the call quickly, so I provided the model number, after which the person said he'd be sending out toner ASAP. When I told the person we didn't need any toner and asked what company he was calling from, he hung up on me. Today, I received an invoice for 4 toners ($1867.24) that I did not order - or receive. I called the company several times and only got a voicemail. Since I have never sought out any business with this company, I would simply like to report their deceptive practices as a warning to other consumers and ask that they completely remove my company from their records ASAP.Desired Settlement: I think this company has a responsibility to conduct itself as an ethical business, only contacting and invoicing other companies that actually want to do business with it.

Review: Someone called the office claiming to be the new service tech for our copier, and he wanted to verify our copier model. Two weeks later, we received a bill for $1,875.81. We never ordered any toners from this company b/c our supplies are included in our lease contract. When I called the number on the invoice to resolve the matter, it would go directly to voicemail. This is a fraudulent attempt to collect money.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive written confirmation from IT Tech Products that this invoice is not due or payable. I would also like them to confirm that no order was placed by anyone at this office.

As with many others we received a ridiculous fraudulent invoice. Of course we did not pay it as we receive our toner free with our copier contract and have never had to place any order for toner. I believe these are the same scammers who call frequently attempting to have somene who is unaware that it's a scam give them info on our copier. Hopefully something can be done as it appears many have already and are continuing to be scammed by this fraudulent group of people.

Review: The company sent us an invoice for toner cartridges that we never ordered. We use a specific supplier for our toner and never use anyone else. The invoice is in the amount of $1,690. I called the number on the invoice and got an answering machine which doesn't give you enough time to leave a message. This seems to be a scam and some companies probably pay these invoices not realizing they are fraudulent.Desired Settlement: We would like a letter with a cancellation of this invoice as it is not something we ordered/received.

Review: On or about December 28, 2015, we received an invoice from IT Tech Products by postal mail. The invoice number [redacted] provides for 4 toners for copier in the amount of $1,690. Please note that we never and have never ordered toners from IT Tech Products. First, we have a service contract with our copier service company, which provides the toners we need for our copier. Second, any other toners for any of our other office equipment are ordered through Staples and/or OfficeMax. This invoice is bogus and has no merit.Desired Settlement: We wish to request that IT Tech Products correct invoice number [redacted] in the amount of $1,690 and to reflect a zero balance, as the toner was never ordered by us. We also wish to have IT Tech Products desist from sending bogus invoices for products never ordered and from ever contacting our company again with bogus invoices.

I have reviewed the response made by IT Tech Products in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that, although this proposed action would resolve my complaint, it is false claim. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. In his letter dated February 10th, 2016, Mr. [redacted] states that, "We have researched this transaction and have found that the order was cancelled by the customer because they prefer to receive products from another supplier. We sent a copy of the cancelled invoice to the customer via fax." It is not true that we cancelled the order because we never placed an order with IT Tech. Further, as of this date, no invoice was ever received by our office advising of the cancellation, of which cancellation never took place, as no order was ever submitted with IT Tech.It is baffling that companies like IT Tech, who falsely promote a product that is expensive in the first place, gets away with making false claims by submitting bogus invoices to companies that never solicited their business. It is simply bad business practice.

Review: Our firm, [redacted] Associates, Ltd. received an invoice ([redacted], dated 6/3/14) in the amount of $1,731.96 for toner for a Minolta copier, which was allegedly shipped on 6/4/14 via UPS . We did not order the toner, we don't have a Minolta copier and we get toner free as part of our maintenance agreement. We tried calling the number on the invoice (###-###-####) and got an answering machine. This seems to be some type of scam, since no one in our office would order toner for our copier in the first place since everyone knows that the toner is supplied by our copier company.Desired Settlement: We want the invoice voided and do not want the toner shipped to us.

SCAM - This company sent us an invoice in the amount of $1,690.00 on 2/11/2016 for copier toner that we never ordered. Our copier toner is provided at no charge as part of our copier lease. I've never heard of this company and the toll free number listed on the invoice has been disconnected.

We received a fraudulent invoice January 19, 2016 for toner in the amount of $1690 that we did not order. We get our toner free through our copier maintenance contract and luckily caught this before it was paid out.
