As a former independent distributor for It Works, I was going to categorize this review as more negative than neutral. The only reason I chose a "neutral" rating is because as a consumer, I DO believe in the product.
Being a distributor though, is a different story.
I was signed up under fall pretenses, as my upline told me that being a distributor was like "basically getting paid to take selfies. You get paid to post on Facebook!". Those were her words verbatim, and I'm here to tell you that was false information. This company is just like any other MLM: strictly commission-based sales.
Before I signed up, I asked my upline if there were any fees involved, or if I would be contracted to the company for any specific amount of time: again I was misinformed about obligations.
This is how the It Works compensation plan works:
*Purchase a builder kit: $99. Reasonable price.
*Host your own personal website w/ e-Suite: $20/mo. Ok, not terrible.
That's higher than some other MLMs I was looking into.
*Purchase $80 worth of your own product/mo in order to be considered "commission-qualified". WHOA, RED FLAG!
You read that right: you will not receive ANY commission off of ANY sales, unless you purchase at least $80 of product a month! So between that and the website fee, you're essentially paying the company $100 (not including tax & shipping!) every month to work for them! Why should I have to pay you in order to get a small percentage off the products I'm selling for you?! OUTRAGEOUS!
Not to mention, the product prices are unbelievably high! I had so many potential customers lined up, yet they bailed once they saw how much everything was. Their Loyal Customer program does offer a huge 40% off discount, yet people STILL couldn't afford anything!
My suggestion to the company would be to first off, LOWER YOUR CUSTOMER PRICES AND DISTRIBUTOR FEES!
I honestly don't know how this company remains in business.
I LOVE It Works! products! Everything I have tried has worked and I'm happy knowing that everything's all natural. I had to call customer service with an order question and the customer service rep was so friendly and helpful and got everything straightened out in no time!
This product is not worth spending money. From people who sell this product on facebook or in person make it sound like this product is intended for weight loss. It is not!!!!Trust me on this one you are better off with some other product than this. The people who sell this crap don't even know what they are talking about. They Spam people non stop with trying to sell. It is annoying. and when you ask the distributors questions like I experienced with a couple of girls I bought product from they didn't know anything on how to be properly healthy or some important information. I feel like the company main goal should be to have healthy distributors and promote health. in fact one of the party I went to for these products the girl said you can eat anything you want all you have to do is take the stuff and you'll be alright... really. what a lie!!!! Let me tell you I am not overweight, I weigh 130 lbs. All I wanted was to tone my skin up a bit. this product didn't even work and I used the products how they were intended. and not to mention this stuff made me supper constipated... WASTE OF MONEY, TIME, and EFFORT....
My step son's girlfriend just got suckered into becoming a distributor. After watching for myself how she is being told to lie about supposed results (she has never used any ItWorks products), and copy/pasting made up stories on Facebook (stories she got from her distributor) I am appalled. The level of dishonesty is disgusting. If you have distributors lying through their faces on Facebook, then what else are they lying about. I have never tried the products and will never try them. There is no miracle cure to lose weight and inches. I want nothing to do with obvious crooks.
I tried these products and they work! Customer Service is amazing and there is only a $50 cancellation fee if you fail to commit to the 3 months as stated before you signed! I am thankful for this company, it's the only thing that actually works!

I've never tried this product but just wanted to let the compliance dept know that even though you may be justified in your disagreements the fact that youre blasting dirty details on the public site is unprofessional. As the company you should hold yourself to a higher standard and get the discussion off of the public site first. As someone who has a job just like yours seeing all this is in very poor taste. Address the matter sure but at least appear to be the mature adult instead of the offended teen.

ItWorks is the epitome of a well-oiled machine! Their products are of the highest quality and have impacted lives all around the world, the business model is the best I've ever experienced, and the corporate team is second to none! This company works hard to please its customers and employees alike and I am honored to be part of such an incredible team!
Nothing I have tried has worked. I tried hair, skin and nails for three months and there was no difference on Muslim, nails or my hair unlike all the ads they show with such a growth in their hair in just a month. Such s scam. I have also tried the wraps which do feel good but only work temporarily ( for a few hours). I have also tried the thermofit x 2 months and the lip and eye cream. NONE OF THSES PRODUCTS DID WHAT WAS ADVERTISED. don't waste your money on this company. They make money by conning people into buying and then into selling these products. I originally signed up as a loyal customer to buy from a friend. I thought about selling the product bc they make it sound so great but realized to sell them you have to aggravate the crao out of your social media friends. I get so tired of my friends that are selling .this stuff because they bombard my newsfeed about this company that doesn't work. Please don't waste your money on any of these products.
Zero customer service. Product claims are false. No customer support. When I signed on I was not told about the 3 month "agreement" that if I violated I would be charged $50.00.
When calling I've gotten put on hold for 45 minutes, (had to resolve payment issue) or a recording stating they were too busy to answer the phone & to call back another time?!
I am very happy to say that I have had a very positive experience with It Works! products and their customer service. I have loved each product I have tried as a loyal customer and when I had an issue with my order customer service was excellent! Friendly, helpful, and issue resolved!! Their products do what they say and that is what makes them stand out in my eyes!
They operate exactly as they claim. It is easy to stop an autoship. People want the whole sale pricing but don't want to meet the requirements, then complain. They have stood by everything they have said. Great products!
