GWP was first contacted about the issue on August 14, 2014. The last time we did work at this property was within the month of July 2014. The warranty/need for repair concern was brought up after we had already de-mobilized from the job site. We had someone re-visit the area of
concern to inspect the problem immediately. This situation was one that needed the material supplier's input. It took our office approximately weeks to engage the material supplier, then another week or to receive their input and response back as far as the quality of their product perhaps causing this deterioration. All the while, GWP was in touch with *** *** of *** * *** informing him of the status. Although the timeline may not have been to customer satisfaction, we did our best to keep him in the loop of the course of action. GWP and *** * *** (***) were in contact several times to discuss the best date to schedule these repairs. Due to holidays, days of convenience for the shopping center and due to GWP's schedule, it was delayed longer than anticipated. Rest assured, GWP is full aware that these repairs need to be done, we have no intention of not doing them. We always stand behind our work and can be certain when this is rectified, the customer will be 100% satisfied. This work will not be done unless GWP feels that the best quality is the end result. Since we are now into the month of January and temperatures have been consistently low and not recommended for asphalt paving, this work will be done as soon as able
The It's Just Lunch business model is obsolete and unnecessarily costly for Milwaukee consumersIts service matches people primarily by income and members are not shown photos of their matches beforehandThe personal match information provided - age and occupation - is most often inaccurateThis model could work well in larger markets such as Chicago, but in larger markets this type of service is less necessaryIn short, members are limited by the size of the service's member pool, and this service is far too expensive for that kind of limitationOnline dating sites or Meetup groups are much better choices in Milwaukee
IJL is a great service and a great way to meet members of the opposite gender especially for those who are new to a geographic area The date takes place at a great restaurant or bar There is no pressure to go any further Last names are not given by IJL - only by the individuals if they are interested in seeing each other again Overall I would recommend them over a computer dating site as it is more personalized

Hello, I apologize for the delay in responseBelow is the response for the complaint ID ***Thank you*** It’s Just Lunch regrets to learn of any dissatisfaction the consumer has experienced with her membership as this is not the norm with IJLThe consumer joined IJL and entered
into a signed membership agreement between both parties outlining the terms of the membership as well as the expectations surrounding her membershipThe consumer’s membership is for the following: IJL will coordinate the schedules of its Clients and Participants and book a meeting for an introduction between two Clients or a Client and a Participant at a venue selected by IJL (hereafter “Date Introduction”). Before receiving a Date Introduction, an IJL representative may present Client with one or more candidates for Client’s evaluation for a Date Introduction (a “Match”). If Client accepts the Match, IJL will schedule the Date Introduction. Client may decline or pass on a Match for a Date Introduction and such action will not be counted as satisfying the number of Date Introductions that IJL has agreed to provide to Client. However, IJL is not obligated to present more than eight (8) Matches in fulfilling Client’s four (4) Date Introduction membership at any time. After presenting eight (8) Matches, any further Matches presented to Client will be considered to be a Date Introduction and will be counted as satisfying IJL’s obligations to the Client regardless of whether or not the Matches result in Date Introductions with the suggested Match(es). Once four (4) Date Introductions and six (6) months (“Term Months”), whichever comes later, have been provided or have passed, IJL will be deemed to have fulfilled its obligations under the terms of this Agreement and this Agreement will expire. The consumer has attended date, and declined matchesThe consumer currently has remaining available match presentationsWe are working with the consumer and taking her feedback into consideration in the matching process to ensure a positive dating experienceThank you

Initial
Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 13, 2016/08/15) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The company did not act in an ethical fashion They charged my card without my authorization and made it VERY difficult for me to finally obtain a refund They kept pawning me off on other people and delaying the refund as they held my $illegitimately The public should be made aware of their practices and their rating should be at the lowest level They are a scam
This is a very professional and comfortable buisnessI recently met with those who were assisting me, and was treated with respect and felt as if all my needs were being met
It’s Just Lunch has communicated with the consumer and he

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]
Prior to working with IJL, I made it VERY clear of my
criteria, standards, and qualities I am looking for in a partner down to
explicit detail and this was all prior to singing my contract
The first three matches did NOT fall within my criteria,
which mentioned to IJLThey were matching me with people that I would not
consider meeting otherwise. The first
two men were ages and 37. I told them
I want to meet men ages 40-52. The third
man made it clear he is looking for a Christian woman. IJL knows I am not a Christian, nor am I
seeking a man who is seeking a Christian woman.
They made a call me to me on 4/and said they had an additional match for
me and would get back to me in a few days for a scheduled date and it’s now nearly
three weeks later and I have yet to hear from them.
I was permitted to cancel the contract on the third day
after which I signed it, however, IJL would not provide services until I signed
the contract and paid them for services in advanceOnce you sing a contract,
it can take weeks for them to find you a match, so there is way to cancel the
contract because it would be past the three days and I never had a chance to
really use the services.
I made my initial complaint on 4/10/201/5, just a few weeks
into the contractI told them I no longer wanted to work them and kindly asked
them for months of refund, which would be $2200. I initially paid them $2400. I was told no multiple times, then spoke to a
manager (***) after a few days of phone tag. *** refused to listen to me and kept
saying, “we will continue to work with you and find you a good match”. All the while I am telling her I don’t want
to work with them I am firing them as my matchmaker and she kept saying we will
continue to work together.
My next step was to file a complaint with Revdex.com because they
are running a business and not being flexible with the terms of their
contract. I am made it so clear that I
am 100% dissatisfied and don’t want to work with them, yet was told they will
keep my money even if I don’t want their services. After I filed a complaint with Revdex.com, a
regional manager (Stacy) from Minneapolis IJL called me and asked what she
could do to make me happy in this process.
I told her I would like a refund of $(months of the $
month contract) and she repeatedly kept telling me and that it impossible to
refund member and there is no way she can do it.
As you can see, they have a history of bad ratings that are
posted on Yelp: http://www.yelp.com/biz/its-just-lunch-milwaukee
Actually, if you do a Google search for IJL in any other
city, they all have very low ratings and are posing the same complaint as
me.
Thank you for you attention in his complaint.

The timeline of events that are outlined by Ms *** are only have the story. Her accounts start after my first date but my questions start from the very beginning and continue to dateHere is my version of events:
March 1,
Dispute Transaction for It’s Just Lunch processed on 12/19/in the amount of $
- *** was the first person I spoke to, and who I signed with (no last names were given;
she is no longer with It’s Just Lunch)
- I’ve also spoken to ***, ***, and ***; they’ve coordinated my dates
- *** is the director I spoke to most recently to file a complaint
The following is a recap of my contact with It’s Just Lunch (IJL) and the explanation for my dispute:
I was contacted by IJL on 12/16/13, via a voicemail that I could not understand (the individual, whom I later knew was ***, was unclear as to who she was and what company she represented, sounding like a telemarketer)I was subsequently contacted in the same manner on 12/17/and 12/18/Again, I ignored these initial contacts because they seemed to be telemarketingOn 12/18/I received an email from *** at IJL; this email referred to her previous voicemailsHer email mentioned that they were working with a lot of great guys in my area and were asking if I was single and interested in their organizationI replied, inquiring how they received my contact information and said that I was single and that I would be willing to hear about their organization, but that I wasn’t sure if it was something I was interested inHer response indicated that my name was in their database from a previous inquiry I made with the organization several years agoI gave *** a time in which she could call me with more information about IJL
*** called me on 12/19/and within the first to minutes of our conversation, she said she was working with several great guys and named matches for me that she thought would be perfect for meI was equally excited and skeptical that they had these matches for me so quicklyHow did she know who was right for me after just a few minutes? During this initial conversation we spoke for about thirty minutes regarding the type of individual I was looking for as well as what IJL could provideI should have stopped her at that time feeling skeptical, but her sales pitch was enticingShe proceeded to tell me that they were working with a lot of great guys in my area and that the guys they were working with were not like the typical guys you’d meet in an online dating serviceShe told me that these guys were successful, career orientated, and because of their careers, they were not comfortable with an online dating siteFurthermore, these men were presented as business owners, and executives, as well as others that were well established in their careers and didn’t have time for the complexities of online datingThis was very encouraging information that I believed to be true
Next, *** proceeded to discuss the contract, offering me a 1-year membership for over $I said that I wasn’t interested in a commitment of the length of time or investment and asked if there were any other optionsThe only other option she offered was a 6-month membership for $2000; she stressed the value of that option, as it was only available as a limited time promotionAgain, I should have stopped her and taken some time to think about it because I was skeptical, but she was promising all the right things and made it sound like her success rate was 100%Before I knew it, I was saying yes and giving her my credit card informationAfter she took my information, she provided more detail about how the dates would work*** would initially provide a few matches, I’d go on those dates and she would give me a few weeks off to see if those dates progressedAfter each date, I was asked to call and provide my feedback for the next matches and based on that information; they would select my next matches and set up the dates
Upon receiving the contract, I discovered the cancellation policyIt states IJL can cancel with no refund if another member were to file a complaint of inappropriate actionsCancellation process and refund would occur if IJL were not able to fulfill my dating expectations as to a frequency of datesThe only true cancellation and refund option was within a 3-day window of signing the contractIn hindsight, this should have been my second clue to run (first being those perfect matches after a minute conversation!)days is not enough time to cancelIt gives time for buyer’s remorse, which I definitely had, but I had no contact with anyone from IJL during that time which I’m guessing is by design so as not to open dialogue with those second guessingI had no real knowledge of how the organization works or what to expect from them during such a short windowIn hindsight, I should have used this window to cancel and I even had a letter of cancellation written which I now wish I had sent themContacting me around the holidays was a dirty move, prying on my emotions of being alone during the holidaysLooking back, there were a lot of red flags that I ignored because I was hopeful to meet someone special
I was contacted the following week with my first matches, and dates were scheduled for 12/27/and 1/2/I was skeptical as she told me about the dates, but again, I was told they were very nice good-looking guys and would be great matches for meI wasn’t looking forward to the dates because I doubted the process and rightfully so, these guys were not what I was looking for, not even closeI gave each guy my time and attention but there was no connection, they were not what I was looking forI understand that IJL can’t promise chemistry between the matches, but it seemed like they didn’t take anything I asked for into considerationAppearance was not what I was looking for (they do not allow us to see pictures of the matches ahead of time because they want us to keep an open mind), nor was their professional aspirations in line with my standardsI’m not saying that these guys were not nice or successful in their own right, but they were in no way a match for me
I called them with feedback after each date and was told they would review my information and call when they had a prospective match for me, but it could take a week or soI was certainly surprised when they called only a few days later with my next matchesWith my trust in the system wavering, we coordinated the dates, crossing my fingers that these dates would be better matchesBefore I even went on these dates, I was contacted with dates and This really surprised me but they made it sound like this was and with the others, they were super excited about these matches for meDates & were very similar to the first two and I hoped that my subsequent response and feedback would alter the future matchesHowever, the representatives at IJL seemed more interested in telling me about the next matchesThe feedback I was providing them regarding their so-called “matches” was given little to no regard
At this point, it became increasingly apparent that IJL’s match system is based solely on age and gender with complete disregard for the other criteria indicated in my fileOnce again, before I had dates & 6, I was called with more matches and date was scheduled (they asked for my availability for date but had not been able to reach him yet)
Clearly IJL’s process is flawed and fails to meet the process criteria, which was guaranteedMultiple representatives handling my file have all failed to consider my feedback regarding matches, dates have been arranged in rapid succession with no consideration given to my overall satisfaction with their service or experience, and matches continued to be presented with the briefest of informationIn fact, when I expressed concern about a “match” prior to meeting the individual, I was told I “needed to give the guy a chance, you never know who might be right for you”
Dates & were just as bad as the previous ones, if not worse because I had informed IJL I wasn’t interested in this type of guyMore specifically, date was not career oriented which was the opposite of who I was told I’d be meetingDate frustrated me because of his appearanceHe looked very much like date 1, which I told them was not what I was attracted toI was shocked that they would keep this match for me when I specifically told them I was not attracted to this physical typeThis was the final straw that has prompted this dispute
I openly expressed my distrust for IJL for the first time after date when speaking with *** on 2/10/I had questioned their process before, but tried to stay positive as each time I was reassured that they had my best interest in mindWhen talking to ***, I let her know once again that date was not a match for me and whyShe expressed her desire to find better matches but seemed more concerned about letting me know that date had to rescheduleI pressed her on a few different thingsI asked her how many members they had in my area and in my age bracket, but she refused to sayShe responded by saying that they have lots of great people but because everyone is at their own discretion to date or take breaks, the number always changesI conveyed to *** that it felt like I was being matched solely on gender with complete disregard for the criteria they established in my fileShe said that definitely was not the case but couldn’t offer me an actual process other than to say that the directors review the criteria and they have a formula they useThis was when *** told me that *** is not longer working for IJL, which surprised meThat’s a critical detail they neglected to disclose to meIn fact, I was told that *** had picked all of my matches since she was the one who knew meI told *** that *** didn’t know meWe had spent about minutes on the phone and that was it*** seemed surprised by this and acknowledged that they were swamped since *** had leftI told her that I felt like I was just a number and that no one was looking out for my best interestI told *** I was unhappy, that I did not trust their organization and that I wanted a refund*** said they don’t give refundsI told her under the circumstances, I felt a refund was warranted and that I wanted to talk to someone about it
I again spoke to *** after date and she told me I should talk to *** and agreed to email me the next day with a convenient time for us to talkOn 2/14/14, I spoke with ***, who is the director in the Milwaukee office and thus responsible for my matchesI asked her the same questions I asked *** and received very similar answersI expressed my extreme dissatisfaction and feeling of being used because I fit a mold, a single female in Green Bay, WII asked her about the matching process and she gave a little more detail than *** that still lacked substance*** actually told me that their job is to take my feedback and use that for my next matches and that they would cancel a date if they felt that person was not appropriate based on my feedbackThis completely contradicts what has actually happenedI’ve had dates scheduled on top of each not allowing for the necessary feedback to be consideredAnd based on the physical appearance and my feedback of date 1, I should never have been matched with date It is clear that no one was listening to my input and completely disregarded what I was looking forThese events make it evident that my account and matches have never been held to IJL’s contract criteria
When I asked for a refund, *** again said they don’t provide refunds but offered that I could take a break and wait for different matches in the futureShe told me I should be patient and give them a chance to find the right person for meShe offered that match is a great guy and that I would be short changing myself if I didn’t give him a tryI asked her why he was different and why he would be right for meShe responded with another classic canned IJL response, “he’s really nice and that everyone loves him”I told her that I didn’t have any confidence in their process or their organization and didn’t think it was worth my timeHer feeble attempt at a solution simply stated that she was in charge of my matches and would do a better job of staying in touch and trying harder to find the right matches for meShe said she would have no problem finding the right person for me and asked me to give them a tryAfter talking for about minutes, I continued to feel trapped and used
The lack of consistency within the organization is absolutely unprofessionalI was originally told I would be working with *** for my matches, but then received calls from *** and ***I was receiving multiple calls per week and sometimes per day and they seemed very disorganizedA few of my dates asked how I felt about the organization and they shared similar doubtsSome of my dates told me that they were given different membership options that when asked, were never mentioned to me
The contract does not provide any details of how the dates and matches are selected and puts all the responsibility on me as a member to like the matches they provideThe contract states a refund is available if IJL is unable to provide a certain number of dates within a 6-month windowBased on the rapid succession of dates, which did not match my criteria, it appears they specifically went out of their way to make sure that would not be an optionI was flexible with my availability to make the process work but a marathon dating cycle is not the service I was guaranteedI’ve been on dates in weeks and have been dismayed at every turn
I’m asking for a refund because it is blatantly apparent that they are not working with my best interest in mindFurthermore, they are unwilling to work with me to come to some kind of compromise resolution regarding a refund, and only offer to do a better job in the futureBased on previous dates and the unprofessional handling of my account, I have zero confidence in this organization, and feel that they are in breach of their contract based on the information presented and promises made to me on 12/19/by ***The contract states that they do not make any guarantees or promises as to the information collected on each member nor do they guarantee or promise the compatibility of the matchesHowever, I was promised to be matched with men who met the criteria I was looking for personally, physically, and professionallyFurthermore, IJL would use my feedback from matches when selecting each of my future matchesThey have not provided the benefits promised nor have they taken my feedback into consideration, which is evident by their random matching with dates in such close succession
I am not willing to allow them to continue to blindly match me and make promises. Please accept this explanation in consideration of dispute regarding the charge from It’s Just Lunch and their breach of contract
The above account was provided to my credit card company for a formal dispute against the charge on my credit card. Here are a few additional things in direct response to their letter.
I maybe early in my membership with IJL as Ms *** points out but as she also points out, they have been doing this for over years so they should know better than to treat me and my experience they way they haveI feel like I have been completely disrespected and taken advantage ofShe says I never called to provide response to my date on 1/17/but that is a blatant lieI was not able to call until 1/22/because of my work schedule but I called and began to provide feedback to *** and then she quickly said wait, I'll get *** for you but when *** came on the line, she never gave me a chance to provide feedback, she went right into getting me my next matches. Ms *** is correct that dismal is not a word that I used to describe the men I met; saying that they are dark and gloomy, and causing misery is pretty rude of her. But she completely ignored the fact that her staff failed to provide me with appropriate matches based on my desired criteria because they never took my concerns to heart and further more, most of my matches were lined up for me before my dates even began so it appears they never had any intention of listening to what I had to say. As I mentioned above, I did not talk to *** on 2/13/as they state, it was on 2/14/after *** arranged a time for us to talkI did tell *** that I needed time to think about what should happen next but the discussion was concluded with me giving *** permission to follow up with me late the following week, there was never an agreed upon day and I was not the one who was supposed to call. During that week, and again this week, I've received a call from *** again trying to line up a date with VinceThis is more proof of their blatant neglect for what I've asked forI do appreciate them putting my membership on hold for the supposed 4 weeks which should take me to late March, not 4/27/as their letter states, that would be weeksI really don't want anything to do with their organization and feel that I am well deserving of a refund based on their breach of their own contract.
Regards,
*** ***
I've been a member of It's Just Lunch for a few months Caprice, Client Advisor for IJL is dynamite to work with I have not met her in person yet, but she's got a great voice, solid sense of humor, she's very open and I recently put her down as a professional reference on a job application I tried to get some past negative feedback regarding an up and coming dinner match , she told me to get lost I'm glad she did because I met up with this match and enjoyed a very pleasant evening He suggested I try Sushi, which up to the point was on my don't list We let the chef decide for us and it was all delicious And he and I are going out again
This is a great businessVery attentive to client needsThe staff are very enthusiastic and responsiveThey associates also listen, which is paramount for a dating service
The total staff at the Milwaukee office r all angels & are as sweet as honey!
This is my forth time with IJL over the past years (first IJL date was in Summer and my most recent one in December 2016), and I have mostly positive opinions about this dating serviceFirst (positive), the staff from the match makers to the date coordinators have always been very friendly, courteous, and professional with me at all timesSecond (positive), there has been many improvements with the dating service since my very first session in 2007: an after hours call number to report a last minute date cancellation so one does not get "stood up" (and I've been stood up several times), a friendly reminder notification (text, phone call, and/or email message) of a date at least 1-day prior, date coaching options, in-person interviews, etcMy overall experience with IJL in has improved greatly since my first experience in But one of these improved experiences is with my dating attitude itself (and not with IJL) as I have learned you must be mentally ready and happy with one-self before jumping back into the dating gameThird (negative), I still think the match-matching process still needs improvement as I still get "not my type" dates, but then again this can only be improved with open communication between myself and my dating coordinator and/or match maker One must communicate openly with what his/her dating preferences are, and then make the necessary modifications as time goes by We are limited to only those that sign up to the dating service I continue to return to IJL because I'm more frustrated with the c*** online dating sites and apps who seem to have the "fake" and unprofessional daters IJL seems to have the more serious, professional (they can pay the big $) daters I want to meet...I just need to be more patient and perhaps more "open-minded" to find my true type
