Dear [redacted] Thank you for reaching out to us. We apologize for the inconvenience which has occurred. After review of your account, the order was placed on our Price Protection Plan which is our equivalency to lay-a-away. Once merchandise has been... selected, a small down payment is required to lock in Jerry's everyday low price. We allow the consumer up to 12 months to pay the order in full with small monthly payments applied onto the order itself. Unfortunately the Price Protection Plan does not guarantee the availability of the merchandise. We do ask consumers to provide us a 3 week notice prior to their desired delivery/pick-up date to ensure the merchandise is available from the manufacturer. In this case, the item (s) which you selected on your invoice became unavailable from the manufacturer. We can gladly offer you 5% off a reselection should you wish to select something else in our showroom. In regards to this claim, we apologize for the inconvenience the consumer has experienced After review of the consumers account it appears the delivery was completed on September 13, From that date we have received no additional correspondence in regards to the bed The delivery fee of $was refunded back to the original method of payment We will also issue a $gift certificate for the additional inconvenience which the customer incurred The consumer will receive the gift certificates in the mail within the next weeks Gift Certificates can be redeemed at any one of our showroom locations and are valid for one year from the issuance date Should the consumer need further assistance, they may simply contact us at [redacted] Sincerely, Jerome's Furniture

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below On 4/18/15, I purchased furniture a specific color and paid the delivery charges to have it delivered to my homeOnce it was delivered, the furniture color did not matchI went back to the store the next day and spoke with the store manager and she told me that she was going to charged me again for delivery the correct color furnitureI was really disappointed which I have to paid of their mistake On top of that I was charged for absolutely no reasonThey charged me $to pick up the old furniture and I called to ask about the charge, they told me that they could send me a receipt to use as a Tax Deduction DonationBut nothing was ever picked upI believe that the receipt is fraudulent and I could get into trouble for using that as a tax deduction with the IRS To resolve the problem, I would appreciate it if I could get my wrongful charge money refunded for what thet called DONATION pick up charge and 2nd Delivery chargeI do not want $Gift Certificate that was offered because I have no intention of ever purchasing any items at this store Regards, My Phu

Good morning! I spoke to the customer and we both came to an agreement, customer is aware to call me back if any further issues Thanks!

The customer was called and a message was left for the customer to call us back This item was discounted over $from the original retail price since it was sold as a floor model Since this is a floor model and it was discounted at such a large amount, there is no warranty directly through Jerome's I did notify the consumer of this information in the voicemail and asked the consumer to contact me directly to see if there were any one-time courtesy repairs as a best effort basis which could be offered Should you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at ( [redacted] Sincerely, Jerome's Furniture
