SCE&G has been reporting a paid account on my credit after they failed to notify me of the balance due
I am a former customer of SCE & GThe partial account number is XXXXXXXX*, the service address was *** *** *** *** in Columbia, SCI discontinued my service sometime in the spring of approximately April, at that time I paid what I assumed would be my last service billI updated customer service with my forwarding address and phone number just in case there were any additional fees or issues that needed to be settledI never received any communication from them so again I assumed that account was settledWhen I checked my credit report the following year, I noticed that SCE&G had reported the account with a balance due of $I contacted them immediately to settle the account and ensure that the fees were taken care of with a payment made on 1/31/for $I asked that the negative reporting be removed from my account since I made every effort I could to

SC&G CONTRACTED OUT A TREE COMPANY THAT LEFT MY BACKYARD DESTROYED WITH DEBRISTHEY DID NOT REMOVE WHAT THEY CUT DOWNPLUS DID AN INCOMPLETE JOB!!!!
DURING THE MONTH OF JUNESC&G HAD CONTRACTORS FROM CAROLINA TREE OR SOME COMPANY SIMILAR IN NAMECUTTING DOWN TREES ETCUPON ARRIVING HOME ONE DAY LAST MONTH I NOTICED THAT THE BACK OF MY TWO ACRE PROPERTY SEEMED TO BE CLUTTERED WITH DEBRIS FROM TREESBAMBOO ETCNOBODY BOTHERED TO CLEAN THIS DEBRIS OFF MY PROPERTY AFTER THEY CUT IT DOWN!!! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!! Wrongfully billed and forced to pay or they threatened to cut off services

Failure to take responsibility
Recently a contractor for SCE&G came to my property to install new gas linesThey immediately started digging where it was not marked, which is against the SC law
hence they cut my Dish TV cableTheir representative called Dish for a repair not meBut I am being billed for the repairIt is not my responsibility to pay for their damages They are refusing to take responsibility for their contractor which the law says they are for anyone they hireIt only amounts to $60, so no big amount to hassle over

AC/heating warranty
We purchased the AC/heating warranty back in 2016, I believe we pay $or so per month Last Thursday JUne 7th, our ac starting getting warmer and warmer, so we called Friday morning to SCE&G to get a technician to come out, finally Friday afternoon we received a call for Goose Creek ac/heating telling they would be out in week I told then that I have a year old husband and senior dogs, and that wasn't reasonable So after a lot of pleading I finally got told that they would be there Monday Finally they came late Monday and said that there was a bad Freon leak, and getting a part and refilling with rwould cost $and there was no guarantee, and that SCE&G wouldn't cover any of it because our unit is yrs old We were not told that in the beginning so I called today and was told that we received info in the mail with the rules, but was not asked at the time we signed up for the warranty The lady on the phone said we would not
