$has been added to my monthly bill in the last months in ColumbiaWe are very careful about energy consumption, because I am on a strict budget due to limited incomeIts not right that the customers are wearing the failed nuclear project How is it legal to impose rate hikes without consulting with those who are going to foot the bill? What about those who are in jeopardyThe weather is still too cold to go without heatThis business practice is repulsive!!

DO NOT use this company! My mother has done previous business with them, so I chose to have them do my graduation invitationsI told them that I wanted a tri fold style & they agreed that they could do itThroughout the whole process the owner had me communicating with her son, who quite frankly had NO IDEA what he was doingShe promised she could have them done in days but liedHer son was completely confused and ultimately did a horrible jobInstead of *** (owner) owning up to the fact that her son was wrong she just kept making excusesThe day the invitation was supposed to be done she asks me how I wanted it folded! If you are a legit company then you shild know how these things work & not asking the customer, especially after you've already designed it! The invitations came out and they looked horribleEven she said she didn't like them but still sold them to my motherShe never owned up to her part in the matter and just blamed me for what I asked forI will NEVER do business with them again and I'm horrified that she ruined my graduation invitations

I have been a victim of fraud and it has been over a month since I have filed a complaint with them with no response
On 5-04-I talked to someone at SCE AND G concerning a bill on my credit report that is not mineI have never lived in South Carolina and I am a victim of identity theft.The information on my credit report has not been verified by me and is NOT MINEIt has been well over a month and I haven't heard a response from them regarding this matter

Moved out September 30th , disconnected service and still being charged
My lease ended on September 30th I contacted the company on July 28th, letting them know that is the date I would be cutting off my serviceI again sent them a letter with my bill in September and called saying that I was still being charged for electricity Unbeknownst to me, the company forwarded the payments to collections with no consent from me violating FCRA and also no corepondenceThe lease ending agreement I sent them had my new address and I also gave it to themI would never under any circumstance leave an electricity bill unpaid I want this remedied

SCE&G has been reporting a paid account on my credit after they failed to notify me of the balance due
I am a former customer of SCE & GThe partial account number is XXXXXXXX*, the service address was *** *** *** *** in Columbia, SCI discontinued my service sometime in the spring of approximately April, at that time I paid what I assumed would be my last service billI updated customer service with my forwarding address and phone number just in case there were any additional fees or issues that needed to be settledI never received any communication from them so again I assumed that account was settledWhen I checked my credit report the following year, I noticed that SCE&G had reported the account with a balance due of $I contacted them immediately to settle the account and ensure that the fees were taken care of with a payment made on 1/31/for $I asked that the negative reporting be removed from my account since I made every effort I could to

An individual other than me or listed as an authorized user on my account was allowed to turn off my electrical services without my knowledge/consent
On 11/2/an individual was allowed to turn off my services and switch them into their name without my permission or consent, even though they were not listed on my accountThey did not have to show any proof of identification nor confirmation of security information for the accountThis led to me losing my $deposit and having to pay an additional $deposit, instead of just being able to transfer my services as I had initially wanted to do in the first placeIn addition to this, upon informing SCE&G of my issues with this, I was told there was nothing they could do and that it's pretty much not that big of an issue

Sept3rd I called SCE&G & told them electric wire was down to my street light Oct4th, no change & I'm still being charged operate street light
On September the 3rd, I called SCE&G and told them a storm had brought down a wire which feeds a street light October 4th, I called SCE&G to get an update to see when I could expect it to be fixed (on the SCE&G message machine, it state it takes up to business days to fix a street light) SCE&G representative I spoke with said since I was under contract I would have to trim my trees before street light could be fixed However, I am not under contract with SCE&G I stated if SCE&G couldn't fix the light to take the charges off my bill and I would provide my own street light SCE&G representative stated she couldn't take charges off my bill nor could she remove where I'm being charged every month from my bill

I have my daughter who resides with me and she had type diabetesThey cut my lights off todayRight before Thanksgiving and sending I pay over one thousand to get back onNo help or trying to take partial paymentsMy daughter can't be be coldAlso her medicines need to be at a certain temperatureThey are just money hungry and not trying to help us at all

Terrible customer service, just moved here months ago after dealing with a fantastic power company there and no one here even has the competency to break down thier own bill and explain it back...just keep trying to confuse, change subject, and say theres no one to help usSo if your bill is crazy high for no reason (asked for previous bills and they conveniently "could only find" another really high one in '2016') dont even try to call, no one will help and you can pay or have power turned off

Extremely high electric bill

Unwillingness to credit subdivision lighting charge
I am unemployed and received utility assistance from Wateree Community Actions Incwho paid all but $of the bill SCE&G bills monthly for the lights they put in the subdivision, which are theirs and not exclusive to my house Actually, I do not have a light in my yard, neither does either one of my neighbors I called today and asked for a credit when speaking with customer service representative *** who transferred me to a Supervisor named *** but neither had the authority to credit $to my account
