Again once you apply at https://www.openroadlending.com/applyone/ you agreed to the terms on this page (http://www.openroadlending.com/terms-conditions/) which are as follows: Pay close attention to bullet #2, #and #8. Also as stated earlier, multiple credit inquiries within a day period has no effect on your score. The credit bureaus know people show around so that don't ding your score for that shopping.By clicking on the “Click to Complete and Start Saving” button, the applicant and any co-applicant (each individually referred to as “I”, “me”, or “my”) agree to the following:I certify that everything stated in my application is true, correct and complete.I agree that OpenRoad Lending may forward this application and my financial information to one or more third party lenders, dealers, affiliates or others that may be able to offer me, or assist me in finding, financing or other products that meets my needsSome of these affiliates may offer or arrange dealer financing rather than a direct loan from a lender.I expressly grant OpenRoad Lending and its third parties, affiliates, agents, service providers or assignees the authority to call and/or email me with questions related to this application and share information about other products and services available.I have read and agree to the State Disclosures and OpenRoad Lending Privacy Policy.I have read and agree to the Consent for Electronic Disclosures, agreeing to the receipt of these and future disclosures and communications electronically, including, without limitation, providing the Privacy Notice on OpenRoad Lending’s web site.If I have applied with a co-applicant, I and the co-applicant both acknowledge it is our intent to apply for a joint account.I authorize OpenRoad Lending and its lending partners, automobile dealers, third parties, affiliates, agents, service providers or assignees to obtain such additional information as may be required, including credit reports, in order to complete the processing of my application.I authorize those third party lenders, dealers, affiliates or others which are forwarded the application to share information in the application and any other credit information they obtain with other third parties who may be able to offer or arrange for a loan or financing through a dealer or other products and services.I am sorry that we are unable to help you at this time
Complaint:
I am rejecting this response because:It is the principal at this point as you are not being 100% truthful. It is amazing how many similar complaints can be found online.A conversation with the state attorney general confirmed my experience

First let me apologize about your experience with our companyI am sorry your was a poor oneThe agent that spoke to you about the effects of multiple inquiries on your credit was accurateYou can see be clicking on this link what Experian, one of the major credit reporting agencies, says about
multiple inquiries within a certain amount of timeThose are all viewed as one inquiry as you credit score goesYou can view their opinion here (http://www.experian.com/blogs/ask-experian/2009/03/01/impact-on-credit-scores-o...⇄ why we passed your application to third parties to begin withYou agreed to allow us to do so when you submitted your applicationThis is a completely automated process so when we reviewed and declined your application, it was sent to others right awayWhen you called the next day, we stopped your application from going anywhere else per your request. I agree that OpenRoad Lending may forward this application and my financial information to one or more third party lenders, dealers, affiliates or others that may be able to offer me, or assist me in finding, financing or other products that meets my needsSome of these affiliates may offer or arrange dealer financing rather than a direct loan from a lender.I authorize OpenRoad Lending and its lending partners, automobile dealers, third parties, affiliates, agents, service providers or assignees to obtain such additional information as may be required, including credit reports, in order to complete the processing of my application.Again, I am very sorry your experience was a poor one and I hope we can earn your business sometime in the future.Regards,The OpenRoad Lending TeamRevdex.comI'm responding to Open Road LendingDon't respond to me with a lieI said on your recorded line that I didn't want other companies running my creditYour CSR should have said at that time that you all send information to multiple sources and not send my app throughWhen a customer voice a concern then you supposed to adhere to it and not ignore itYou all were negligent with my personal informationI received a letter from a company I've never heard of stating that they ran my credit and couldn't approve me and one of the things that affected my credit score was too many inquiriesSo, don't tell me that it didn't affect my credit, when my credit was ran by several companiesYou all have the recorded conversation where I said don't send my information to other companiesDon't respond back to me insulting my intelligenceThis has put unnecessary stress on me b/c there are people who have my vital information and they have given it to other sources like Myautoloan.com has given it to Rate Genius and BlueHarbor and who knows what other companiesNow I'm having to watch and see what else comes through the mail from some unknown company that has my personal information and ran my credit or done something else with itI'm going to have to watch my creditGoing back and forth with you and these other companies made me lose money b/c this is time consumingI'm going lose even more money b/c I have to reach out to the credit bureaus and let them know those inquiries wasn't authorized b/c you all refuse to contact them and the other companies you negligently gave my information to, so that the credit bureaus can know I didn't authorize this and you all made a big mistakeThis was egregious what you all didYou all have the nerve to send me another promotional letter in the mail againI would never do business with you allThe apathetic way you all and your comrades go about doing businessThis is wrong and bad business practices

Thank you for your commentsI reviewed your application and it appears that your credit report has changed since we purchased the data from the credit bureau in early OctoberOn 10/31/a charged off auto loan account with *** was added to your credit profile dramatically dropping your credit
score and adversely effecting your overall credit profileOn the back of the pre-approved letter you received there is specific language stating that if anything does change in your file we are no longer obligated to extend the pre-approved offer to you.I am sorry this was a poor experience and hope that we can earn your business someday in the future.Regards,The OpenRoad Lending Team
I have not heard back from *** at all about any response other than asking for my vehicles equipment twice after I answered twiceSince I have left messages and I get the " not available " messageIf this application truely is legitement, then I would need an actually response on this asapThe second reason was I also recieved numerous calls from a cell phone asking about a vehicle I have for sale, which I do not have any vehicle for salePlease advise
Revdex.com:
There was no change in my credit report as I monitor it on a regular basisThe child support reporting has been on there for a few yearsWhy it's there I don't know as I am current in payments and have been for yearsSo you can't tell me my rating has changed due to that So let's try another excuse.
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 11596004, and have determined that this does not resolve my dispute
Please enter your reason(s) for rejecting the business response below

I am rejecting this response because:I received a letter from another lender today declining "my application." Regional Acceptance Corpwrote they received the application from Open Road LendingSo the practice has not stoppedI did call the opt out phone number and this time was asked for my social security number which I will not giveAfter my experience with Open Road I will not give my personal information to anyone without certainty of their business practicesI admit I was foolish in falling for the scheme devised in the mailing I received from Open Road Lending, but that does not excuse their misleading and unscrupulous business practicesI am not satisfied with the response and plan to follow through with my complaint through other channelsThey take no responsibility for their unethical dealings and I want to change that

I am sorry we couldnt give you the 10.99% rate as is but that was only if your loan to value (LTV) was 100% or lessAs stated above your LTV (without any buffer) was over 104%If you are still interested, we can offer you the 10.99% rate if you make a one-time $principal payment to your
lienholderNow to address the buffer of $We have done this for almost years and it is our experience, along with our competitors, to increase the day buffer because customers tend to drag their feet in returning and signing documentsIf you complete the process quickly any overage will go back to you, not to us so there is not any incentive to have a high buffer other than to protect us of being shortYou will get your money back. We have never kept any overage before. You work for a dealership and not a finance company so you have differing abilities to deal with payoffs so it is apples and orangesAgain I am sorry we couldnt meet your expectations but we are lowering your current interest rate by 6% and saving you thousands of dollars over the life of the loanWe can get to the lessor rate if you will pay down your principal by only $550. This was already addressed directly with the customer and with a Revdex.com review
I am sorry that you feel this way. Again we are here to make loans but unfortunately we can't help everyone. I am sorry you felt you were unable to read all the disclosures and that you applied for your spouse
I'm sorry you misunderstood our approval. You are currently paying 17% interest rate with Car Finance Capital and you have about more payments. We have approved you at 11.49% but only months. Since there are less payment your payment is going to go up but you would spend about $3,less in payments over the life of the loan with the new loan. For example: current loan: $payment at payments is $35,836 new loan: $payment at months is $32,580. So you would save over $3,with the new loan. Payment would go up $per month but you would pay it off months sooner at 6% less interest rate
Again I am sorry if this doesn't help you but it would save you $3,or even if you traded in the vehicle before the end, you would earn more equity faster by paying a lower interest rate
I am not sure what phone number you called but on the back is section entitled in Big Bold lettering "PRESCREEN & OPT OUT NOTICE" and the phone number is *** (###-###-####) Try it again and let us know if that didnt work I just called it and it is the credit reporting opt out line as stated The credit letter is dated Aug but their inquiry was from Aug when we sent it to them It happens almost instantaneously By law they have days to send out the letter which they met Again its really anything less than days that have no impact on your credit Also you did agree to the language whether you remember it or not.The biggest factors in credit reporting is on-time payments and level of credit usage Here is an article from Investopedia but you can find many others that state the same thing Credit inquiries are quite a small factor(http://***).Again I am sorry that we are unable to help you at this time
Revdex.com:
I have been in touch with Open Road to work on the refinanceIf all goes well, I will be able to save a significant amount monthlyMy concerns have been alleviatedThank you and please let them know
I am sorry for your poor experience but we did approve you from a credit perspective However, I listened to the phone call and found that during the sales process we went through your vehicle and all the options that it has When we determined the car's value, your loan to value (the
amount you owe versus what the car is worth), it was over 220% Said differently you owe over 2x on your current loan as compared to your vehicle's value In most cases our limit is 1.5x so your vehicle was above the LTV that we can finance If you will look on the back of your mailer that is fact disclosed and to be honest no lender would be able to finance the vehicle in its current status.Again I am sorry that we couldnt help you at this time based on the value of your vehicle
I am sorry for your experience When you apply you agree to the following“I Agree to these Terms and Conditions” box, the applicant and any co-applicant ("I," "me," and "my") each agree that: (1) I received and read the State Disclosures and the OpenRoad Lending Privacy Policy;
(2) I received, read, and agree to the Consent for Electronic Disclosures and all other Terms and Conditions for this application shown above; and (3) I understand that I could have multiple inquiries on my credit report through this process and I am granting OpenRoad Lending and its partners permission to access my credit report to determine if I qualify for refinancing my existing auto loan, and (4) I provide express consent to receive autodialed/prerecorded calls/texts regarding financial services or other credit related offers from OpenRoad Lending or one if its third party lenders or affiliates at any number I have provided (consent to be contacted is not a condition to purchase services).Number is permission to share your information Also multiple inquiries in a day window have no affect on your credit as long as they are they same type of credit (auto vs mortgage vs credit card) You can see this from an experian article (http://www.experian.com/blogs/ask-experian/impact-on-credit-scores-of-inquiries...⇄ but there others out there The biggest factor in your score changing is making timely payments All of our inquiries are in the first days so I'm not sure what additional inquiries have occurred since then I have no other record of complaints or phone calls as we log all of them.At this time I will be unable to remove the inquiries but if you let us know what additional inquiries after the first days and I will contact if they are related to us
I did submit my Gap papers and never agreed to not have GAP insuranceAs proof, I have the original email in which I submitted my GAP and Life insurance papers(also provided to Openroad Lending) Please provide proof in where I declined GAPMy payments were lowered because the interest rates were lower and not because I did not choose GAP Again, I have always insured my autos with GAP and would not have agreed to lose this insurance Also why was the entire loan purchased, which included GAP and Life Insurance if you were not going to provide the coverage? Shouldn't the amount of the loan excluded GAP and Life insurance policy? Why also did your representative tell me that "it looks like we started to set up GAP but for some reason we didn't complete it?" Since I have all the paperwork I sent originally, I believe the burden to prove I refused GAP must be produced by Openroad Lending
This complaint was already submitted and responded on the Revdex.com Review site First of all let me say I am sorry that we were unable to lower your rate more but we were able to cut your current rate and save you money over the life of the loanThe reason for the decline letter is we work with
multiple lenders in order to give you the best rate and one lender did decline you so you would have received an Adverse Action Letter as required by lawBut we show your loan as withdrawn in our system since you were approved by at least one lender and you choose not to continueAgain I am sorry that we could not help save you more money
