I am sorry for the bad experience but an email with the subject line of "Your Loan Decision (Application ID: [redacted] )" went out on 1/14/when your application was declined You might check your spam or junk box We do not call all the declines for obvious reasons However your application was declined due to debt to income ratio (meaning you have too much debt payments in relation to your monthly income.) I can see that some of your existing debt is joint, meaning you have someone else that you have applied with in the past and used their income If you can do that again, we might be able to get your DTI ratio back in line Also we might want to check your monthly income that you gave us If you will call us at ###-###-#### we can talk about adding a co-borrower with more income Again I am sorry you didn't get the original decline email but this is not a scam as we help thousands of customers save money each month

I am sorry you felt like we wasted your time but when we send you a mailer we feel we can lower your rate by at least 4% based on what you are currently paying (around some parameters). We literally help thousands of customers each month do this and the hundreds of reviews on our site and the... BBB site at [redacted] are all valid. I think the BBB would take offense that those are not real. If you want to remove yourself from ours and any other future marketing opportunities you can follow the instructions on the back of the mailer to opt out.Again we only make money if you take advantage of an offer to save you money. We only spend money to send mail so it doesnt benefit anyone if we are not actually fulfilling loans.

I am sorry for the confusion but let me address each one of your concerns separately When you applied at openroadleding.com you agreed to the following language Pay close attention to #“I Agree to these Terms and Conditions” box, the applicant and any co-applicant ("I," "me," and "my") each agree that: (1) I received and read the State Disclosures and the OpenRoad Lending Privacy Policy; (2) I received, read, and agree to the Consent for Electronic Disclosures and all other Terms and Conditions for this application shown above; and (3) I understand that I could have multiple inquiries on my credit report through this process and I am granting OpenRoad Lending and its partners permission to access my credit report to determine if I qualify for refinancing my existing auto loan, and (4) I provide express consent to receive autodialed/prerecorded calls/texts regarding financial services or other credit related offers from OpenRoad Lending or one if its third party lenders or affiliates at any number I have provided (consent to be contacted is not a condition to purchase services)We are a licensed lender in Illinois and every other state we do business in As far as multiple inquiries they have no effect on your credit score They are counted as a single inquiry for scoring purposes Here is an article from Experian that says this [redacted] but you can research on your ownYou were approved on credit basis but like a mortgage the value of your vehicle must be under certain loan to value limits (how much you owe as compared to the value of the vehicle In your case, the existing loan was over $25,but your vehicle is only worth about $13, Our absolute max is 160% so you are well above that If you can make payments to bring the LTV in line we can help youI am sorry that [redacted] did not give you the phone numbers of the other creditors but here they are a) [redacted] Again I am sorry that we cant help you at this time but I will address with our agents to be willing to give out the phone numbers

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 11550319, and have determined that this does not resolve my dispute Please enter your reason(s) for rejecting the business response below Regards, [redacted] This complaint is not about me not liking the outcomeI initially was interested and began to start the processI DID NOT submit the application by choosing the 'submit' optionAs I was choosing to close out of the window I got the prompt that it was submittedI am not sure how your website is programmed that even allowed thisI am offended in the accusation that the complaint is based on me not being satisfied with the result, which is highly untrueI did not have intention on submitting the applicationI did not authorize the transactionThis violates the Fair Credit Reporting Act Section (c)

Mr [redacted] - it looks like you have been in contact with one of our representatives alreadyWhen we get credit information from the credit reporting agencies, we don't have some crucial pieces of information we need to make the final credit decisionIncome and collateral information being the two largest deciding factorsIn your case, your debt load exceeds your incomeIt looks like you offered to add your wife to the application and that would have solved this problemHowever, FL will not allow us to add someone to an existing title/registration which is what would have to be done if we add her to the loanYour existing vehicle we are trying to refinance is in your name onlyOur hands are tied by the state in this case I am sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused youI hope we can earn your business sometime in the future

We were able to get the lender to accept your income without the proof of the other incomeYour loan funded this morning and the payoff check is going out to Santander via USPS with tracking number [redacted] I am sorry for the difficulty but we have cut your rate by over 15% and lowered your payments by over $per month

First let me apologize about your experience with our companyI am sorry your was a poor oneThe agent that spoke to you about the effects of multiple inquiries on your credit was accurateYou can see be clicking on this link what Experian, one of the major credit reporting agencies, says about multiple inquiries within a certain amount of timeThose are all viewed as one inquiry as you credit score goesYou can view their opinion here (http://www.experian.com/blogs/ask-experian/2009/03/01/impact-on-credit-scores-o... why we passed your application to third parties to begin withYou agreed to allow us to do so when you submitted your applicationThis is a completely automated process so when we reviewed and declined your application, it was sent to others right awayWhen you called the next day, we stopped your application from going anywhere else per your requestI agree that OpenRoad Lending may forward this application and my financial information to one or more third party lenders, dealers, affiliates or others that may be able to offer me, or assist me in finding, financing or other products that meets my needsSome of these affiliates may offer or arrange dealer financing rather than a direct loan from a lender.I authorize OpenRoad Lending and its lending partners, automobile dealers, third parties, affiliates, agents, service providers or assignees to obtain such additional information as may be required, including credit reports, in order to complete the processing of my application.Again, I am very sorry your experience was a poor one and I hope we can earn your business sometime in the future.Regards,The OpenRoad Lending TeamRevdex.comI'm responding to Open Road LendingDon't respond to me with a lieI said on your recorded line that I didn't want other companies running my creditYour CSR should have said at that time that you all send information to multiple sources and not send my app throughWhen a customer voice a concern then you supposed to adhere to it and not ignore itYou all were negligent with my personal informationI received a letter from a company I've never heard of stating that they ran my credit and couldn't approve me and one of the things that affected my credit score was too many inquiriesSo, don't tell me that it didn't affect my credit, when my credit was ran by several companiesYou all have the recorded conversation where I said don't send my information to other companiesDon't respond back to me insulting my intelligenceThis has put unnecessary stress on me b/c there are people who have my vital information and they have given it to other sources like Myautoloan.com has given it to Rate Genius and BlueHarbor and who knows what other companiesNow I'm having to watch and see what else comes through the mail from some unknown company that has my personal information and ran my credit or done something else with itI'm going to have to watch my creditGoing back and forth with you and these other companies made me lose money b/c this is time consumingI'm going lose even more money b/c I have to reach out to the credit bureaus and let them know those inquiries wasn't authorized b/c you all refuse to contact them and the other companies you negligently gave my information to, so that the credit bureaus can know I didn't authorize this and you all made a big mistakeThis was egregious what you all didYou all have the nerve to send me another promotional letter in the mail againI would never do business with you allThe apathetic way you all and your comrades go about doing businessThis is wrong and bad business practices

Thank you for sending in your concernsI have reviewed your application and it appears there were some income discrepancies from what income you were able to verify versus what was stated on your applicationThat is the reason the application went from approved to declined because with that change in income, you no longer qualifiedThat being said, our credit team feels that if both you and your husband are on your existing lease, we may still be able to qualify you for the loanThis will allow us to split the rent payment and should be able to budget you then to qualifyplease contact your loan care agent with that information and a copy of the lease so we can move forward.Thank you for your patience and again, we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.Regards,The OpenRoad Lending Team

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Regards, [redacted]

Ms [redacted] , I have reviewed your file and have determined we are able to provide you terms that will lower your interest rate and payment more than you indicatedI don't believe your loan care agent did anything wrong, however, we were able to go back to our credit team and get you more favorable terms because of some items on your credit report that was overlooked initiallyI have provided Nathan with the new approval terms so please contact him to go over themWe have also waived any proof of income that was initially being requested so we should be able to get everything wrapped up and you on your way to savings quicklySorry for the poor experience initiallyHope we can earn your businessRegards,The OpenRoad Lending Team

Mr [redacted] ,First let me apologize for the poor experience you had with our companyWe pride ourselves on providing world class customer service and it's obvious we fell short of that this timeAfter reviewing your file, what appears to have happened is we had you approved at a lower rate initially which calculated out to the payment you were initially quoted; however, when the LTV (loan to value) was calculated on your vehicle, you no longer qualified for that programTo obtain that rate, the maximum LTV allowed is 120% of the value of your vehicle meaning we can finance up to 120% the wholesale value of your vehicleBased on the payoff we obtained from your current lender, your LTV is 148% which forced you into a higher risk tier and a higher rateThat's still $per month savings from what you are paying now and almost a 5% savings in APRWe are happy to assist you if you change your mind.Again, we are sorry for the poor experience and I hope we can earn your business in the future. The OpenRoad Lending Team

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Why would you send a letter promising lower interest rate and payment if you have yet to have all information needed? Seems like a gimmick and a catch in order for consumers to call you and you lure them into doing business.Maybe, instead of making empty promises, you should wait until you have ALL information needed to make promises of a better loan Regards, [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 11550319, and have determined that this does not resolve my dispute Please enter your reason(s) for rejecting the business response below Regards, [redacted] I've asked that the inquiry be removed from my credit as I did not authorize many companies/banks or give permission to run my creditThe representative I spoke with said that it had gone to four different banksIn the response, Open Roads Lending failed to acknowledge a resolution or acknowledge my solution of removing the inquiring as I did call in within minutes of noticing that it submitted and I called this morning as wellBy withdrawing the application, does that remove the inquiries? If not, I would like them removed as soon as possible, again as I did not authorize this

I am sorry for your poor experience with our companyThe application does have language that you agree to that allows us to pass your application on to others if we are unable to assist you (that information is listed below)I agree that OpenRoad Lending may forward this application and my financial information to one or more third party lenders, dealers, affiliates or others that may be able to offer me, or assist me in finding, financing or other products that meets my needsSome of these affiliates may offer or arrange dealer financing rather than a direct loan from a lender.I expressly grant OpenRoad Lending and its third parties, affiliates, agents, service providers or assignees the authority to call and/or email me with questions related to this application and share information about other products and services availableAlso as stated in the previous post, once you agree the terms above (which you did when you submitted the application), the application is routed instantaneously to various lenders Even if you did call within minutes it is too late to stop the multiple inquires But multiple inquiries have no effect on your credit score You can research for yourself or check out this article form Experianhttp://www.experian.com/blogs/ask-experian/multiple-inquiries-when-shopp...

Upon review of the file and calls we are requesting that Equifax remove our inquiry from 2/19/because we didnt have permission to re-pull credit after the customers initial application had expired I am sorry for the situation and it will take at least 6-for the credit bureaus to process the attached letter The letter will be mailed today

A tax return and that are filed with the State and Government that are signed by myself and my accountant are not made upI can understand if it was just a generic but we are talking a 1099, tax return and I even offered to get a letter from my accountant on his letterhead to verify thisYou are not a mortgage company so to compare the two is irrelevantLike I stated before, I have dealt with different car finance companies in the past and all were fine with a and tax return so to say that is the norm is incorrectAlso, to say you are protecting yourself is going a bit farYou have verified my employment, my references and where I liveYou have seen on my credit report that I have made payments on my current car loan all on timeIf I was to lie, which I would never do, all you have to do is repossess the carThe bottom line on this is that you approved me, I sent you all the required information including proof of income and its not good enoughIf its not good enough, than why approve me Also, I showed proof that nowhere in your e-mail did you outline the terms and conditions nor did you provide a link or tell me where these can be foundLook at it from my sideI was approved and now all of a sudden you are making things up to not approve mePhishing for information is a scam so to say you don't know how this can be a scam, well, there you gYou have all my information now and from reading other reviews, it is my understanding that you sell this information to other companies You know what your company didBe honest and just admit that your advertising is deception or at the very least, just remove the inquiry from my credit report and return my paperworkI do not think that is too much to ask

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:The company which I'm complaining against remains steadfast in their assertion that I'd applied for credit with themThere's NO logical reason that I would have done this as I've been very satisfied with my current finance arrangement and was engaged in the process of obtaining a NEW mortgageMy attorney has stated that I should file a police report in regards to the issue (as an identity theft matter)It's my contention this organization has NO interest in resolving the matter amicably, has no conscience, and further has no business being in businessPursuant to this issue affecting me, I've reviewed other similar complaints from others online Regards, [redacted]

First of all I am sorry we were unable to help you at this time We gain nothing by starting the process and not closing a loan, so its disappointing for us as well Let me address each one of your concerns separately 1) You originally applied to us from the [redacted] site You clicked through a banner and landed on our page 2) From a credit perspective you are approved 3) In CA, we cannot add or delete someone from the title The rules are too restrictive in your state It has nothing to do with where we are located but rather the state the vehicle is registered About half of the states in the US are easy to do and the half are very difficult as what the state requires to happen4)Your LTV is 191% based on what NADA guides states What we are required to use in CA We cannot play with the books and see what best fits The reason that the "free" guides online are free is that they are not necessarily accurate or timely data I have attached the bookout to show you 5) I am sorry but we did think you were approved until we called your lender to know how much you still owed and that caused the slow down in returning the calls We in no way should have ignored you but if you want to call me personally, you can call my direct line at [redacted] My name is [redacted] and I am the CFO if you want to discuss any of the above items Again we gain nothing by starting the process and then we are not able to close a loan so there is nothing for us to scam you with Again you were approved from a credit perspective and if you can pay down your loan to get your LTV under 165%, then we can help you We will not be able to remove anyone in the state of CA however

I am not sure what phone number you called but on the back is section entitled in Big Bold lettering "PRESCREEN & OPT OUT NOTICE" and the phone number is [redacted] (###-###-####) Try it again and let us know if that didnt work I just called it and it is the credit reporting opt out line as stated The credit letter is dated Aug but their inquiry was from Aug when we sent it to them It happens almost instantaneously By law they have days to send out the letter which they met Again its really anything less than days that have no impact on your credit Also you did agree to the language whether you remember it or not.The biggest factors in credit reporting is on-time payments and level of credit usage Here is an article from Investopedia but you can find many others that state the same thing Credit inquiries are quite a small factor(http:// [redacted] ).Again I am sorry that we are unable to help you at this time

In order for an application to be submitted, a person has to complete additional information, have the box check and then click on the Submit button There is no other way for the job to run to capture the application information from a technical standpoint We literally take thousands of applications each day and never have anyone complain that their application was submitted without them clicking on the submit button I'm not sure what FCRA (c) has to do with this issue since that section of the code is entitled "Requirements relating to information contained in credit reports" and talks about what is supposed to be reported in a credit report by the credit bureau
