Review: I bought a watch from them in January 2014 (10 months ago). One of the watch hands became loose and the watch was also running fast. I sent in back to them for repair, and received a confirmation that they have the product in possession. It has now been 2 months since they confirmed receiving it, and I have tried to contact them several times to get an update on the watch. They claim to keep customers up to date on repairs and state that most watches take 6-8 weeks to repair, which has passed with no update. I have called many many times, but an automated message says they are "on holiday and will reopen on Monday" (but this message has been used for weeks now). This has made it impossible to get someone on the phone. I have called one of the employees directly who is considered the repair guy but he never answers and has no voice mail. I have emailed the service center a handful of times but they will not reply. I have also written an email directly to one of the customer service agents. THIS WATCH WAS BOUGHT FOR OVER $5,000 AND THEY HAVE HAD IT FOR 2 MONTHS, AND WILL NOT REPLY IN ANYWAY. I want them to honor their warranty and fix the watch and return it. This is absurd.Desired Settlement: Fix it with all OEM parts and send it back. NOW! At a minimum return my messages to let me know why it is taking so long.

Response:

I was afraid they had gone out of business while in possession of my watch, since I was unable to get a hold of them over 3-4 weeks. They have now replied and said they are working on it. I do not have the watch back yet but at least no it isn't lost or gone. That is resolution enough for the time being. Hopefully it does not take 2 more months for it to get back to me.

Sincerely,

Review: I bought a gucci 101G mens watch [redacted] from jomashop which was shipped on 8/**/13. The wristwatch has not been delivered and I have contacted jomashop both via telephone and email, more than 7 times and they have eventually chosen to ignore my emails. The order number for this wristwatch from jomashop is jomashop-[redacted] and the invoice number is [redacted]. These guys are effectively sitting on my $1,096.65 for the wristwatch and shipping and have now resorted to ignoring my emails. The last lady I spoke to at jomashop called [redacted] was very unhelpful and abrupt. jomashop claim the wristwatch has been delivered by UPS, but I visited the local UPS office in [redacted] who advised the parcel did not arrive at their depot, the UPS helpline in the UK advised that the status of the parcel was unknown. This has been a complete waste of my time and resources and I am completely fed up! On 9/*/13, jomashop advised via email that the non-delivery of the wristwatch will be resolved in 7-10 business days. I have emailed them on 9/**/13 after the expiration of 10 business days, asking for a refund or re-shipping and these guys have totally ignored me. Please use your good offices to advice jomashop to process a refund immediately to my credit card used to purchase this wristwatch. jomashop has been un-professional and I will not trust a product from them.Desired Settlement: REFUND TO MY CREDIT CARD IMMEDIATELY. I AM ALREADY PAYING INTEREST ON A PRODUCT I HAVE TO TAKEN DELIVERY OF, AFTER A MONTH OF PURCHASE

Review: I purchased a watch from Jomashop through [redacted]. It was a Luminox EVO Colormark Ladies Watch 7051. I made the purchase because watch is known to last for decades and is highly waterproof. It was warrantied by Jomashop for 2 years. I never received a copy of this warranty but learned via a phone call it was warrantied against failure of internal parts. When my watch stopped running after about a year-and-a-half, I assumed it needed a new battery. I took it to a high-end reputable jeweler where I've had other watch batteries replaced in the past. While I waited, they changed the battery but the watch still did not run. I contacted Jomashop who had me send it to their repair department. After 2 months, the watch was returned to me. It was running, however, in a very difficult to read note, there was mention that the watch is "not water resistant." The note stated "coil damaged by 3rd party." It was difficult to determine from the repair center report how they got my watch to run and why it was no longer in proper working order (i.e. not water resistant). I called customer service to get clarification. A woman said she'd email me a response. I heard nothing after one week. I called again and the representative said that all that was needed was a new battery and that the damaged coil which has made the watch nonresistant to water was caused by a 3rd party and therefore they would not be responsible for the defect. I asked to speak to a manager and the customer service person just kept saying that this would not be necessary. Finally, he said there was no manager to speak with. Unfortunately, I feel it is just my word against theirs. There were also other things about the communication that has made this business seem suspect. My watch band was cracked and I asked if I could pay to have it replaced. Rather than call or email (they had all my contact info.), they simply returned the watch with the broken band rather than contacting me to say I'd have to go directly to Luminox for a new band. When you call and are on hold, they are playing a Christmas recording. Then there was the lack of follow-through by the first customer service representative. I feel they acted to protect their interest and suspect that the person who worked on the watch at Jomashop damaged something but claimed it was done by a 3rd party. To me, this seems highly unlikely that the jewler I took it to who I have never had problems with could have damaged this coil in the 5 minutes it was in his hands. Again, it is simply my word against theirs.Desired Settlement: I would like Jomashop to replace this watch or refund the $188.99 I paid for it.

With reference to above Revdex.com case (copy attached) please note the following:

We received the customer watch and as per policy - we only have a warranty for the Time keeping of the watch - we cannot be responsible for external parts of the watch. The customer purchased this watch TWO (2) years ago. We replaced the battery and shipped the watch back to the customer working perfectly- we are NOT responsible as per our policy for EXTERNAL DAMAGE - please see attached

Thank you.

Review: I ordered and paid through [redacted] a watch for my sister on December [redacted]. As of December [redacted] I had not received any shipping information, so I called them. I was told that the watch was going out for shipment that day , December [redacted] , and she should have it by the end of the week. I then received an email telling me the watch was shipped on December [redacted] with a tracking number. I have checked the tracking number ever since then but the post office still reports that they only received PRE shipment information and that the package has not been shipped. It has been over a week since I ordered and paid for this watch and I would expect that they could at least ship it !Desired Settlement: I wish for the watch to be shipped immediately and would appreciate a free upgrade for expedited shipping since Jomashop has delayed the shipment.

Sincerely,

I bought an Eco Drive Citizen watch from these guys. It stopped about a week after I got it and they would NOT take it back. They told me the battery just needed charging. That makes no sense. Eco Drive watches use light to charge the watch, and it had been in the light all the time I had it, at least 12 hours a day. The watch was obviously defective.

They say they can't take anything back if it is "used". So wearing the watch for a week was the excuse for not refunding the money. They told me it has scratches on the watch, and they would not give me a refund. I think they give that excuse to lots of folks who try to return something.

I found out that Jomashop is NOT an AUTHORIZED Citizen dealer. The Citizen warranty is not valid when you buy from these guys.

Review: Have bought $5000 Zenith watch from Jomashop. Order [redacted]. Received the watch, tried for 10 min and the watch was not working. Called them and sent watch back. Now they said that the watch is only eligible for repair because it was worn and has a scratch on the clasp what is impossible unless Jomashop made the scratch. I have all pictures. How do you want me to know that the watch is defective without trying? They said that they don't have the parts in-house and they need to send watch to Zenith. I called Jomashop and asked: you are getting watches from the vendors. are you checking them before sending out to the customers? Jomashop said YES. So, you got defective watch from the supplier ans sent me the defective watch. Because the original Zenith mechanism was broken from the beginning. I am planning to take customer protection lawyer to investigate this matter.Desired Settlement: I would like to get refund or replacement.

Review: Buyers beware of Jomashop.com this company may sell watches at or below cost but be sure to read the fine print of the return policy. You have to dig deep into the website to find it. When you do, look for terms regarding “special purchases”. Any order over $4,000.00 is subject to an 8% restocking fee upon return. That’s right folks if you buy an item with a value of $4,000.00 or greater and you return it your refund will be 8% less then the original purchase cost. What a racket. I purchased a Rolex priced over $8,000.00 upon returning the watch my credit card was debit 8% less then what I paid. Also when you request an RMA number for your return it’s only good for 10 days from the time you receive the email from Jomashop.com. On the form and I quote “The issuance of an RMA does not constitute an agreement on Jomashop's part to accept the merchandise.? A refund / exchange will only be accepted once the merchandise has been received and thoroughly inspected. This RMA number is valid for ten (10) days”. The form goes on to say that you “agree to conditions stated and understand the Jomashop return policy as stated on the Jomashop.com website” with a signature line. DON’T SIGN IT. If Jomashop.com receives the package without a signature on their RMA form, you stand a better chance at recovering the 8% restocking fee if you decide to dispute the claim.Desired Settlement: Refund of the 8% stocking fee. The "special orders" terms where not clearly advised prior to the purchase of the item. An alert prior to the completion of the online sales should have been available to the consumer.

Review: I ordered a $180 kate spade purse. I have carried it two months and it is falling apart. The purse handles have cracked and are separating from the purse. This should never happen to a real kate spade purse and I am sure they are selling imitation purses. I asked for a replacement or a refund and was refused very rudely and in a degrading and offensive way.Desired Settlement: Refund in full.

Sincerely,

"Price isn't everything." I ordered a watch on December [redacted] 2015 and there was no indication of out of stock or back ordered on the site. I placed my order and waited...and waited...and waited...I finally called and it was typical to be called 22, 24,19....after patiently holding and explaining to a rep that I wanted to check status of order I was told it was back ordered...I said no problem the holidays...Dec [redacted] I get an email stating item shipped but usps showed item not received yet...my card was charged and here we are over a month later and still no watch. Was told by rep they were going to trace it cause no one knows if it was shipped or not...and was told I'd get a call back...half a day later I call back and rep tells me they are gone for the day and no supervisor is available. 1st time ordering and very very disappointed! Let's see what excuse I get on Monday!
