For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Chase's response to you indicates that they RESPONDED to me on May 4, 2016...TWO months from now They have extended the same level of attention to me throughout this unpleasant issue, as they have to you in composing their response.I previously provided a copy of the email in which I told the original vendor that they did not have permission to charge my Chase card, which they had on file from a job completed two years earlier, since they did not complete the work They in turn charged the Chase card anyway That should stand as proof to Chase and they should reverse this fraudulent charge

[They did respond with the following excusesFirst that I was offered a choice of waiving the annual fee versus the milesHowever that detail was not in the original offer There is no fine print that explains that And I do not remember getting a choice or being told the card has a $annual fee Again nothing in the offer described the annual fee or explained you must pay the annual fee to get the miles They did actually at first tell me that I would reveivd the miles There excuse for not doing that after they said they would was because I didn't spend a lot more I was never given an explanation of what 'more activity' would have been I did use the card throughout the period regularly and even carried a balance They also told me the offer expired but I had proof it didn't And finally they said it wouldn't be fair to other customers Several times they agreed the advertisement was not clear but they did nothing but call a lot and make excuses They offered NO resolution only excuses And explained to me why I was wrong]

I do not understand why this complaint was closedThey claimed to have mailed me a letter yet I did not get oneThey refused to email me in under your Revdex.com moderated online web formatI have never seen that done beforeWhy would they not answer, if they truly did by "mail" then they just as easily could have done so online as well and saved a stamped. I do not see the benefit of having contacted you. I am dissatisfied because not only have they ignored me and tried to make excuses, but you have allowed them to do so and have not been of any help at allWhat is the point of contacting the Better Business if you won't do anything to help, not even get them to answer me?
