Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I was contacted by [redacted] .com They are giving me the same runaround they have always been giving meI was not able to use the money I spent to purchase the ticketI was forced to buy my wife another ticket from a better agency that gives better customer service and [redacted] informed me that I have a credit in the amount of the purchase price of the ticket however, I have to spend $to reuse it$is what they charged me to cancel it which they stated there was no feeI dispute that, I have a credit card receipt showing I spent $to cancel the ticketThis is just one more lie in the litany of lies they've told meThey also told me I have to spend $in order to use my $credit Remember now this is all because I simply inadvertently put my wife's married name and not her maiden name on the ticket I booked for herThis is an international flight and apparently the names must match regardless of the fact that her Hawaii drivers license which is a legal document shows her married name I am appalled that kayak.com continues to do business with an F rated company by the Revdex.comHow could such a large company refer their US customers to such a horrible company is beyond meI have spent over five hours on the phone with [redacted] attempting to clear this matterTheir customer service is atrocious and I promise to never do business with them again and I would encourage any customers reading this to use another service such as [redacted] unless kayak.com severs ties with [redacted] *** Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: after communicating with both [redacted] and Kayak, both companies wee negligent and deceptiveIt is Kayak, however that directs their customers to [redacted] without the customer's consentFor a bad product, this can be problematic [redacted] did not tell me my flight was ineligible for miles despite many communications by me giving my mileage number and being told by them that my flight was eligible Never in my life have I bought a ticket that was not redeemable for mileage creditThere was no prior indication whatsoever that my ticket was in a class that could not get miles, and information KAYAK sent in response to my Revdex.com complaint was not provided to me before purchasing the ticketsThey just took my money and said [redacted] would be the ticket issuerKAYAK and [redacted] should not sell tickets in this class without explicit disclosure that they are worth lessIt is already known that [redacted] does stuff like this, based on *** and the complaints that Revdex.com getsSo Kayak should allow customer choice when choosing a ticket, instead of going to the bottom of the barrel for their vendorsI had not used either company before this and am disgusted at the product and the customer service/ The other terrible thing here is that the tickets were not even cheap, which does not support the class they were assigned to [redacted] explained to me that these web-based companies buy in bulk and arbitrarily assign a classHow corrupt can they get I am concerned by reader the Revdex.com complaints about [redacted] and how there seems to have been no real action by Revdex.com in each case Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I can see the fee listed NOW after I've already purchased it but prior to purchasing the flight there was NO FEE listed or I would not have purchased the ticket and I would have gone through [redacted] directlyAlso, when I received my receipt from [redacted] it does NOT list this additional fee Sincerely, [redacted]

Upon selecting to book this reservation it was stated that the reservation was being completed on [redacted] via KAYAKAll emails came directly from [redacted] letting the Traveler know there was an issue with the reservation The Traveler will need to continue to work with [redacted] 's service center

I made a reservation though kayak.com ,for a specific date and it auto corrected for a different date It was not caught until confirmation came in email several minutes later I immediately called customer service and they were able to switch dates after talking to the hotel manager, but the rate was nearly doubled for the date that I needed and if I wanted to cancel, and look elsewhere I am still charged the full price of the room No refund I spoke with the manager at Kayak.com and this was clearly a mistake that was recognized within a few minutes and they were not willing to refund I do not recommend this website or company because if any mistake whether it be yours or how the program auto corrects , they will NOT refund

KAYAK.com is continuously giving the incorrect results with very low price quotes on the search page and then once we select the package it shows huge differenceI was made to enter my credit card and traveler details on other websites due to thisI understand it happening sometimes but everytime cannot be excusedIt is definitely bait scam, a cheap trick on consumers

KAYAK has reached out to [redacted] 's operation center who advised KAYAK that they have reached out to the customer [redacted] has advised KAYAK that the customer was advised that name changes were not permitted [redacted] canceled the booking without charging their modification fess A credit was issued for future travel and informed the customer that a penalty would be charged when using this For further assistance the customer will need to contact [redacted] as they are the service provider

This complaint has been forwarded to [redacted] who is the service provider provider for the reservation in question [redacted] 's operation team has reviewed this complaint [redacted] 's operation center has found that on September 27, [redacted] received a schedule change notification from the airlines advising that there was a flight number change and flight departure changesIt was documented that schedule change notification pm September 27th at and is also notated that WCT notification and schedule change email was requested Schedule change that occurred--- Fight number for [redacted] changed from [redacted] to [redacted] and flight departs [redacted] minutes earlier and [redacted] minutes earlier The customer called customer service on December 26th to inquire about the schedule change and our agent advised of the new timesThe customer at that time advised the agent that they would not be able to take the flight because he would be arriving at 12pm and cannot take the flight that was departing at12:15pmThe agent attempted to call the airline regarding the schedule change however the airline was closedThe customer stated that he will call the airline himself, and the call ended On December 27th the customer called advising that we never notified him about the schedule change and requested a full refund for the new tickets that he had to purchaseThe agent explained that they would be unable to refund the new tickets, however they could contact the airlineThe customer disagreed with the agent and requested to speak with a supervisor and agent placed him on holdWhile the call was on hold the customer disconnected the line We have requested that [redacted] 's operation center follow up directly with the travelerFor further assistance please contact [redacted] at the number listed on the email confirmationThank you
