I am rejecting this response because:I can see the fee listed NOW after I've already purchased it but prior to purchasing the flight there was NO FEE listed or I would not have purchased the ticket and I would have gone through [redacted] directly. Also, when I received my receipt from [redacted] it does NOT list this additional fee.

KAYAK has reached out to [redacted]'s operation center who advised KAYAK that they have reached out to the customer.  [redacted] has advised KAYAK that the customer was advised that name changes were not permitted.  [redacted] canceled the booking without charging their modification fess.  A credit was issued for future travel and informed the customer that a penalty would be charged when using this.  For further assistance the customer will need to contact [redacted] as they are the service provider.

KAYAK is
in receipt of this complaint.  KAYAK was
able to locate a hotel reservation which was completed on [redacted] Partner Network
via KAYAK’s booking option matching the travelers information.  The reservation was completed on May 15th
for check in May 15th and check out May 16th.

I am rejecting this response because:
 
Booking was done on Kayak.com receip came from Kayak.com followed by another receipt to my surprise from [redacted] Either way I trusted Kayak to book my tickets with a reputable agency. [redacted] is not a reputable company. Also the tax portion of my ticket should be refunded at the least since the flight was never boarded.

reservation was completed on [redacted] via KAYAK's booking option. The
price in that email was the fare for the flight.  The service fee from
[redacted] is $100. The service fee did not change, the price of the fare
is what changed. As the email the Traveler received came directly
from [redacted] the Traveler will need to contact [redacted]'s service center
for further assistance.

you choices where to book. You can book with the airline, hotel, car

stated that the booking was being completed on [redacted] and the email
confirmation was also sent directly from [redacted].
If a schedule change occurs [redacted] would let the traveler
know of this change.  The traveler would have
to accept or deny these changes.  For

I am rejecting this response because: [redacted] has lied to me over and over again regarding the ticket we purchased. The bottom line is, because I put my wife's  married name instead of her maiden name on the ticket,  they are telling me I have to pay an additional $400 to use the ticket at a later date. This is absurd!!! I was forced to purchase another ticket so that my wife could fly out yesterday to her hometown with our one-year-old. I would rather handle this in a court instead of over Revdex.com.

As this
reservation was completed on [redacted] via KAYAK's booking option
the Traveler will need to work with [redacted]'s service center. To
be reimbursed the foreign transaction fee the Traveler will need to
provide proof of the the foreign transaction fee to [redacted]'s
service center who will then work directly with the airline to have
the fee refunded. For further assistance please contact

one of our third-party providers.   When you search specifically for an airport, KAYAK will only return rental agencies that service that airport. In this case it looks like you ran a general search for the city, which returns both airport and non-airport locations. Non-airport locations tend to offer a lower rate and that is why they display higher on the results page. The reservation that was booked was completed on [redacted] and the location details were available for review prior to completing the reservation and in the email confirmation that was received.  This was a prepaid reservation charged by [redacted].  For further assistance the traveler will need to contact [redacted].  Thank you.

Trips provides courtesy trip updates, for this specific booking a trip alert email was generated with updated itinerary details ( generation June 25th 24 hours before the flight,)- as per standard procedure all notices remind travelers to verify details directly with the airline provider - in this case " Call TAME Linea A[redacted] to verify departure time. Sometimes flight statuses are wrong, and you wouldn't want to miss your flight.  Prior to this courtesy Trip Alert a change notification was sent to the primary traveler on the reservation from the provider who processed the reservation.
Once the traveler received the Trip Alert, it would have been the traveler’s responsibility to verify the flight details.  For further assistance the traveler will need to contact the service provider for this reservation.  Thank you.

I made a reservation though
kayak.com ,for a specific date and it auto corrected for a different date. It was not caught until confirmation came in email several minutes later. I immediately called customer service and they were able to switch dates after talking to the hotel manager, but the rate was nearly doubled for the date that I needed and if I wanted to cancel, and look elsewhere I am still charged the full price of the room. No refund. I spoke with the manager at Kayak.com and this was clearly a mistake that was recognized within a few minutes and they were not willing to refund . I do not recommend this website or company because if any mistake whether it be yours or how the program auto corrects , they will NOT refund .

 The reservation was attempted by [redacted] and failed on March 1st.  If the Traveler has a posted charged on their credit card the Traveler will need to contact [redacted]’s service center for assistance.  The service center phone number can be found on [redacted].  Thank you.

was re-branded to [redacted] after the booking was submitted.  KAYAK has received past feedback from this traveler and provided prompt response and direction to continue to work with their booking and service provider.   KAYAK is not the service provider and will have no insight into service offerings.  If the traveler was approved for a “goodwill refund”, that will be coming from the service provider for their past reservation which is [redacted].  The traveler will need to work with [redacted] for further assistance with this refund as KAYAK will have no insight into the status of this “goodwill refund”.  Thank you.
