I took a loan out with Amplify out on 7/4/19 for $1000. Not fully understanding the interest rate, thinking back no one from said company called to explain the massive interest rate of 690% which is illegal in the state of Indiana. So on a $ 1000 loan, I would be paying $ 3824.88, $2824.88 paid in interest fees, which is extremely high for a $1000 loan which is like loan sharking....... My payment is $318.74 every 2 weeks, which is a total of $637.48 a month. More then my car not, this loan has cause more of a financial hardship then helping and cause me to go deeper in debt. I have already paid $1593.70, so I have paid $1000 plus 593.70 in interest, with $2231.18 remaining on a $ 1000.00 which doesn’t add up.... I have paid the $1000 and 50% Or more in interest. I need some resolution from this loan which is causing hardship.... I do not want this company contacting my job, Under the Fair Credit Act is prohibited and released from farther collection on loan. To Cease and desist any communications or collections , these loan has been paid and then some, Amplify is wanting me to pay for this loan 3 times it’s value... please investigate. Thanks.

I checked with this organization to loan some money and they approved me for $1,100 and misled me as they talked finance charge only they did not tell me that this was 760% interest per year and I would have not learned this money if I would have known that so I feel I've been deceived. I checked with my bank and they explained it to me and figured it out what the actual interest rate would be and I had no idea it was that much

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. Amplified claims that I was read the terms and conditions of the loan and that is not true. No where did they tell me that there was 760% interest they're only talked about a finance charge and misled me in believing that that loan was a good option to used for the period of time I needed it which was up to a year. Nowhere again was I told that there was 760% interest it may be hidden in the terms and conditions but I was never read that and I was in and out of that phone call in a very short period of time there's no possible way that I could have known all of the information amplified said that was given to me. Even though Amplified thinks I am obligated to pay, due to bankrupt situations and they have helped cause this, it is my nly option that I'll be looking into bankruptcy. I don't believe that they help me I believe that they hurt me and sent me over the edge in having to look at bankruptcy as an option to clear myself of unfortunate debt that I didn't necessarily accumulate on my own but I'm the one who is left standing alone to take care of it so that will be my option as I have no choice.

First of all,I couldn't open the attachment that the loan company sent me throug Revdex.com of Wisconsin, the attachment right above this email, I don't know why.I would accept the offer cause no interest rate was afforded to me, I don't remember any of that conversation. I'm in a state of major grieving daily for the last 5 years as I lost contact with my only child, his mother enabled it, I'm so tired of explaining, I won't go any further. I'm not using that as. Way out, I have done this before with no knowledge , I just wanted that to be known. My life is at an all time low because of this alienation thrown at me so there really isn't anything I'm worried about with the financial services company that loaned me the money either, I'm not really worried about anything, I'm in a state of dissolution, I know my rights to and they don't seem to mean anything when it comes to my son. Send me validation on that recording so I can hear for myself cause I dont remember. .]

Terrible rates. Too hard to pay. Customer service terrible Not a good business

I asked for a $1200 loan, which I received! I never knew the term of the loan, until I asked 3 months later. They said my loan would be for 12 months. I was shocked, I live on a fixed income, plus I told them not to withdrawal my payment until the first of the month, as that is when my *** is available. I just looked at my checking account again, they submitted the payment on the 30th again, my bank charged me $35, again! Their interest is bad enough but insufficient funds on top of that. I’m a 75 year old women that lives on a fixed income, sorry I took out the loan, if I knew then what I know now I never would have. So unhappy! Thank you!

Applified funding is sending collection letters to other agencies,as they must have sold because I did business with Applified Funding and made monthly payments until the terms were changed without my knowledge. After many attempts to debit my bank account I was forced to dispute through my bank. The company is a scam and I do not owe the amount that they quote. Also,as I stated, they obviously sold the debt to another company that I have no contract with.

I got a 1200$ loan back in mArch and have been making a 413$ every month since then.. Did not realize that is the State of Georgia payday loans are illegal.. However, that’s not the issue for 7 month I have made a 413$ payment..I have paid the principal back and a additional 1200$ are more. I called amplify to see if I could get My payments carried out longer, to get my payments down lower because I fell into a hardship by being hospitalized.. However, they were unable to work with me and at this point I feel as if this company is a Money Scam.. I found out in my home state payday loans are against the law. The interest rates do not seem legit either.. Need help!!! I would never use this company again because it’s a company trying to steal hard working people money, that already had finical hardships!! Sincerely thinking about filing a complaint within the court system.. Thanks Again, Belinda

On Monday September 23 2019, my wife applied for a loan for me online through a company called amplify, I had no Ideal that I was agreeing to anything because I was drinking and it was about 1:00 am in the morning. Sometime later I received a call from what I think was a agent from a loan company who ask questions that I'm not sure what was asked and I answered to the best of my ability. When I was fully aware I called this company and expressed my desire not to accept any funds from the company and accordingly I have 24 to 72 hours to change my mind to purchase anything prior to any deposits made to me prior to any actions taken on Amplify. In other words I informed them within 12 hours that I no longer want to do business with them and sense no deposits were made I would not accept any funds after I expressed I would no longer want their services prior to any deposits made on my behalf.I express to anyone answering the call at: *** email to *** and I sent a letter (stating any funds sent after September 24, 2019, @ 1:17 pm will be done at their own RISK), via US Mail at Amplify Funding ***. I have with good faith void and revoked any contracts with this company prior to any funds made to any account and advised them within 24 to 72 hours of Amplify funding any accounts that this company would do so at their own RISK. I will not be responsible for any actions taken by Amplify Funding and if they are expecting any funds on my behalf I will request damages in the amount of 3304.68 to be paid in full at the time of disbursement of any payment Amplify is expecting to receive.

This responds to the above-referenced complaint. This inquiry related to a loan from (the “Company”), which is owned by the Lac du Flambeau Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians (“Tribe”). The Company takes these types of inquiries very seriously and would like to provide you with the below information. Nothing in this communication should be construed as a waiver of the Tribe’s or the Company’s sovereign immunity, all of which are expressly preserved. On 9/23/2019, our first contact with the customer was over the telephone when he called in to verify his account and take out a loan. The customer agreed to the terms of the loan and signed the agreement. On 09/24/2019, the customer called, chatted, and emailed to cancel loan, on each notice the customer was advised he would have to wait until the funds were deposited into the account in order to withdraw them. On 09/25/2019, the customer emailed stating he has not received the deposit of the loan, was then advised to call in to verify the information to resolve the issue. On 09/26/2019, the customer called to cancel to loan, the customer service representative placed him on hold to get the “Loan Cancellation Process” ready, and the customer hung up while on hold. No other correspondence (phone, email, or web chat) has been received regarding this loan. We ask that the customer contact us to resolve this issue. They can contact us at *** to finish the loan cancellation process.

On 5/23/19 I received a $400. loan from Amplify Funding. On 5/31, 6/28, 7/2019 and 8/30/2019 I returned payments of $137.70 on each of these dates totaling $550.80. Since I have not had any communication with them concerning my payments I assumed the loan was now paid off.
I continue to find that they are trying to withdraw more money from my account, which is on the minus side, I continue to be assessed a $35.00 fee from the bank every time they attempt to do this.
When I do receive money into my account I am concerned that they will withdraw from that. (I need that money for my rent, food, etc.
I have contacted them, informing them of the above information and they have hung up on me.

An Amplify loan is expensive which anyone knows that who takes a loan from them. Due to that fact I arranged for a total payoff on Wednesday 9/25/19. Unknown to me until Thursday my bank bounced an $800 deposit of a money order I submitted over a week before stating the "image was not clear". This threw everything off and by Thursday the full payment of the loan bounced. I called Amplify on Thursday but they told me to call back on Friday. I called Friday to submit the payment again but Amplify absolutely refused and said my regular payment will happen today (Friday) and I can pay it all on Monday and no sooner. THIS GIVES THEM ANOTHER $100 in interest. If I had called on Thursday they could do it today but no one told me that on Thursday. I am furious about the lack of flexibilty when I had reasons out of my control. Asking for a Supervisor was told they are busy but the answer is the same. I arranged for the Monday payoff but am furious and would NEVER recommend this company again.

Twice they called asking me for payments I had a fraud on my account so the bank closed that account and open a new one I refused to put them back on there because I didn’t get the fraud until I gave them my info. I even told them this not only that I sent them a bank draft for 887.00 that covered the late fee and one additional payment I don’t owe them no more money until November 3rd. They were the only ones who had my banking info they took a thousand dollars and were about to take 6,500 dollars with phony check. I only Bowers’s 1200 dollars from them.

Lesson you should never be this desperate!

I took out a $650 loan on February 5, 2019 without the understanding that their interest rate is approximately 644%. It is very hard to understand their payment plan, which is a *** job, when applying for loan. I have to date paid $863.90 towards balance and they claim I owe 750ish dollars STILL! I had to stop ACH payments due to financial hardship and am unfortunately looking at bankruptcy. They are not willing to accept account paid in full and are calling my job. My coworker said that a person named *** (spelling) was calling because I owed them money! Isn’t that against the Fair Debt Collection Practice? Don’t do business with these snakes that are loan sharks under the protection of “tribal sovereignty” but aren’t tribal at all.

I contacted Amplify's customer service the week of 9/2 and asked them for a payoff amount for my loan if I paid it off 9/13. They gave me a payoff amount of $807.85 and I asked how I pay that off and they said to just contact them back on 9/13 and they'd take care of it. So I contacted them today, 9/13, and the payoff amount is now $838.47 because apparently, I would have had to call yesterday to get today's payoff amount. Not only does that not make sense, but I was specifically informed to contact them today for the payoff. That's a difference of over $30. These companies make so much money already on loans that should almost be illegal, I think the right thing would be to adjust that finance charge to bring my payoff back down to $807.85. I already paid the loan off because I don't trust them at all now, but I should be refunded the difference.

This is a predatory payday loan company. They charge 646 percent in interest. That is outrageous!! The customer will pay 4x what they borrow and they should be outlawed and put out of business. They are preying on people who don't have money.and robbing them in desperate situations. I don't know how they sleep at night.

Received email to sign for an alleged loan that I did not request. I never filed for loan. I feel this is a phishing email to get my information. I feel like this is fraudulent activity. I see from the Revdex.com.org history this is is not first time this organization has conducted shady practices.

As a courtesy to Ms., we have withdrawn the application and placed on the Do Not CallList.

I have attempted to pay off a loan for my sister and have offered to wire the funds or use a debit card to pay. Both methods guarantee payment at no expense to Amplify Funding. My sister can not, and never could, afford this loan. Considering the usurious interest rates charged, they never want their customers to pay off their loans. Customer Service first told me I had to have the last four digits of my sister's social security number along with the account number. After some back and forth, they said they didn't do business that way. All we want to do is pay off the debt! I have so far paid off several similar loans over the past two days using my debit card and had no problems with the lenders.
