Lendumo Reviews (%countItem)

I took this loan out for 1200.00. NJ has a cap on interest rates in the first problem. Second I had a family tragedy and I tried to see if they would settle my account. I already paid 6 payments of 323.00 and they said there is nothing they can do and I have a another 6 payments to make. I've already paid the loan back with some interest. So sick to my stomach how people can get away with this and steal peoples money.

I borrowed 1700 from this Company in September2019. They are taking 371.00 from my checking every two weeks. My husband has lost his job and I can no longer afford to make these payments. I offered a settlement of 1200. $200 and a $1000. 00 on March 18. I still haven't heard anything from the company.

I took out a loan on an internet offer from Amplify Funding on 9/17/2019 in the amount of $1,100.00 for a period of 12 months with payment of 378.66. My loan number is ***. At the time I was in desperate need of some cash and thought I would pay off early in 4 or 5 months. They had told me there was no prepayment penalties on early payoff. After four payments totaling $1,514.64, my payoff was $1,400.00 plus. The interest rate is 461.26%. I would think they would use a simply rate payoff but it looks like a rule of 78 payoff. If I kept the loan the interest amount alone was $3,443.82. I never intended to keep the loan that long but THIS IS WORSE THAN BE HELD UP BY A ROBBER. I live in Indiana and I am Social Security. I have talked to the Indiana Attorney General's Office and do not think they can charge that kind of rate in Indiana. I would never recommend this company to anyone and would like to get a realistic payoff to rid myself of these theives.

I borrowed $2500 from this RIP-off company. They are charging me monthly payments of over $850 for this loan for a year. I called and told them I am retired and on a fixed income. They are taking more than half of my Social Security check. I can barely survive. They refused to make any adjustment in the amount of interest. They are a cruel and heartless company motivated by greed.

I've had four loans with this company. They have a rewards program and every time I came to the 2500 points needed, something always happened. They've changed names several times and all points earned would disappear. Correctly have loan now, went to sign in and get the 2500 points (stuck on 2400) and magically couldn't log in to claim....I asked at least 4 customer service people to help me get the three gift cards I'm owed from New loan and previous others....so all together, 4 loans and not one gift card every earned....,they scam on the rewards.

The customer’s loan is legal.Customer can contact Lendumo at 1-877-558-1999 or email us [email protected] tomake any additional payment or pay off the loan early. Also keep in mind interest does accrue daily,so the sooner customers pay off the loan, the more you will save on interest.

The customer can call the Company at 1-844-388-0500 if there are further questions or concerns.

Man horrible experience. The APR is murder. The customer service??? Straight criminal. I requested a payoff. Had it processed through one of there agents. A week goes by. I contact them. As soon as you mention the words payoff and this is your second attempt, you will instantly be given the runaround. I had to go through 4 agents to get to a "Stephanie" which hopefully processed my payoff today. Fingers crossed. But seriously, this business could be fraud based on the way I was treated. I would not recommend this to anyone.

This company left me a VM to say they had import business to discuss regarding the recent loan I applied for. Then I got a text message from them saying my load had been approved. I did not apply for any loan. When I called them back they asked for my SS # and full date of birth, when I refused to give them that information they acted like I was in the wrong and sent me to another department, again the lady asked for my SS# and full date of birth, again I refused to give them this information, and she told me that she was trying to help me out. I asked to be removed from their calling list and hung up.

I took a $1200 payday loan on 01/10/2020 out with this company and have made two payments totaling $600. I have attempted several times to login to their website and it states that my credentials are not found. it asks for your email address and it is the correct email address. When I try to call I just sit on hold and nobody answers the phone so I cannot contact anyone to get the payoff amount, make arrangements to complete the load and save thousands of dollars as their interest rate is almost 700%!!!! I believe this is intentional to keep customers from paying off the loan early. I have to pay $600 per month for an entire year Im sure to pay off what equates to two months for the original loan

The Company reached out and made contact with the customer on 02/11/2020, and was able toschedule an early pay off along with the modification window encase the customer wanted to cancel it.The customer can call the Company at *** if there are further questions or concerns

I placed an ACH block on them, since they haven't answered their phones in two weeks or more. All you can do is leave a message, which does not sit well with me. What if I wanted to pay my loan off early and save some money? What if I wanted to pay with a debit card instead of having it withdrawn from my bank? Why haven't they called to ask why their ACH withdrawal didn't go through? Their efforts to collect has been completely automated at this point, with only email and text messages that tell me to call the numbers nobody answers. Something is rotten in Denmark.
Another company, Makwa Finance, is apparently run by the same tribe or parent company, They too have not answered their phones in over two weeks. Both companies have the same website layout and apparently the same customer service representatives, but different phone numbers. I've received several loans from both Amplify Funding and Makwa Finance and had no issue with either of them until now. How can you run a business without answering your phones?
Amplify Funding is supposed to change to LendUmo on February 13, 2020, but that doesn't explain why they're not answering their phones or proactively trying to collect the money they're owed.

This business began calling my cell phone on 01/31/20 at 08:36AM, was told to remove my phone number from their calling list. On 01/31/20 this business called and left voicemail no less that 13 times. The calls resumed on 02/03/20 where the called no less that a dozen times and left voicemail. The calls continue daily. I am receiving no less that a dozen calls and voicemails, all from the same number, different person, same company, same message. I have verified that my cell number has been registered with the National Do Not Call registry since June 2014.

I took out a loan a few weeks ago with Amplify Funding a 800 dollar loan I don't want to be placed on automatic payments because I am low income I have a job but still low income. They refuse to take me off automatic payments even after explaining to them I rather send a money order to them. It is not fair that I cannot I will be at risk having my own bank account closed.

Customers are given four payment methods to choose from before signing the loan agreement. One of the options is money orders. The customer can revoke or change payment method at any time bycontacting us directly at 844-379-0900. The customer’s ACH payments have stopped. She is able to mailin her payments. Understand that the customer revoking their authorization does not relive the customerof the responsibility of paying all amounts due in full that are owed by the customer under the loanagreement.

I took out a installment loan with Amplify Fundiing but did not know that California has a usury law. The interest that I am being charged is outrageous and creates a nightmare for me. I borrowed $800 but will end up paying back 2577.12. I am reporting this because I think that these companies take advantage of the low income communities.

I have been reaching out to them to come up with an acceptable solution. The resolution that they gave is unacceptable. I have paid back what I owe but the interest is extremely to high and I feel it is usury. The interest rate is 643.33%. I have paid back $859.04 . This is their solution . I would be paying almost double of what I borrowed. This is ridiculous. Regards, ear Ms.:Attached please find a response to your recent complaint.

Was at a VERY desperate place and needed money immediately. I was out of state and could not go to local payday loan place. Decided to go online and see what I could find. This sounded great in my moment of panic but I borrowed $300 and ended up paying $1100.00 to pay this off. I JUST WISH I HAD COME HERE AND SEEN ALL THE REVIEWS FIRST! How can this be legal? I was expecting the same rate of repayment as my local company but it is about 300% interest and I am not joking. $1100 for a $300 loan which I only had out for 2 1/2 months.

I secured a loan with Amplify. As I have on multiple occasions. When I called in to obtain a loan for December 2019, it's because of the email promotion they sent me indicating no interest if the payment is made in full. I opted for the loan, since my payment history will show that I DO NOT CARRY A MONTHLY balance with this company ever. According to the agent, my due date was for Monday, but my pay date was wrong in the system. I called the company, spoke to an agent who adjusted my date to the proper date. She called it a courtesy? During that same call, and the previous I asked the agent how would this process for the no interest on a loan if taken out for the month of December. She had multiple replies but none were quite clear. She said if you pay the loan in full, most likely they won't take interest out. I called to verify this that Friday (my payment was not due until Tuesday) and that guy had no idea what promotion I was talking about. He started talking about another one. I even read him the email, the date I received it. I even while on the call with him, went to the amplify website and input the text in the web portal. The guy said he couldn't even see the ticket that was apparently opened for me, but he assured me he would 1. Take care of it with an escalation 2. Make sure that the loan payment for that Tuesday was paid in full. When I called in the previous week again since the payment was not correct. I was told THEY DO NOT EVEN SEE THE TICKET he claimed to have put in. I have been getting the run around now since last month. I called again today 1/6/20, and after being on hold for 20 minutes, was told the review of the tapes don't show what I said. I have asked not once, but not four times for a manager to call me back and let's play back ALL OF THE CALLS surrounding this loan. I get disconnected every time I ask for this request.

Back in August I borrowed 700 dollars with a payment about of 245.00 first payment and 3 consecutive payments of 240.97. Last payment due 12/3/2019. But as I went through my bank statement they took another payment on 1/3/2020. So I called up customer service and explained what happened. The lady tried to tell me I had applied for an installment loan which is not true. She tried to tell me I agreed to pay back 240.00 dollars a month for 24 months. Which is absurd. That would make me pay back 5700 plus dollars to borrow 700. She refused to refund my money and insinuated there was nothing I could do. I live on social security disability and draw 802.00 dollars a month. I also just lost my mother on the 1st and certainly cannot handle anymore stress. I explained that I would never have agreed to such ridiculous opptions. She told me that they were tribal and that regular laws don't apply to them. She told me to go ahead and file criminal charges but they are exempt so to speak. I tried to reason with this woman that no one would sign to borrow 700 dollars and be willing to pay back over 5700 dollars. Please help me because they took the money set aside for my light bill and now my lights water will be turned off and I will freeze to death. Which will also make several checks bounce. Please help me. Sincerely
