Lendumo Reviews (%countItem)

This company is a "lone-sharking" establishment. A $700 loan cost $2300.28 , even when it was paid off 4 payments early. They offered me an early payoff on 1/3/2020 of $479.55. Yet, when I tried to claim the offer they said they couldn't accept a same day payoff with their system. They scheduled$508.90 payoff for 1/6/2020. Of course, they were totally able to process my regular $223.96 payment on 1/3/2020. I am appalled that companies with practices like this exist. It is scandalous.

I got a loan from this loan place. I borrowed $800 from them and this is not right how they billed me. They told me I had t pay only $800 back but now they are saying $3304.68. Interest rate is 464.15%. Amount finance $2504.68. My monthly Pymt of $275.39 for 12 months. I cannot pay this amount. I am on monthly benefits and raising two girls from social services. My payments were not explained to me, which agents usually do. Is there a way I can stop this. I think this is a fraud and a scam to me. Please help me with this situation. I never heard of a interest of 464.15%.

Company does not have a way to pay online and the debit card machine is always down. I feel this is due to them being able to get another days rate of high interest. See my revue I put on here for more.

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 14042779, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I paid off my account, the issue is they keep having issues that won’t allow a normal person to be able to pay on time. Such as no way to pay online or telling people that they are not able to pay with debit card because it was down. It’s an excuse because every day it costs people more interest daily at a very high rate. I understand that the rate was high. We both know what they are doing is ethically wrong. I won’t ever deal with the company again but I feel it’s wrong and you as a Revdex.com should either step in and fix this or have someone else look into it. Thanks for everything you won’t hear from me again.

Regards

I took a loan with this company. I decided to pay it off early due to the high interest. When I called on 12/19/2019 I spoke with Dian the supervisor and Ralene before that. I tried to pay it off using a debit card and they advised the card machine was down. I called several times that day. I put the money in my girlfriends account at her bank to pay since I was unable to get to mine. They advised I needed to put her account on mine and attached to the account to pay it off. They wanted statement or deposit slip. I emailed them a deposit slip. They then stated that she needed to write on the deposit that she was giving permission to take the funds from her account. We did everything we was asked to do. They would not allow the deposit slip because her name wasn’t on it but it had the account number. Therefore giving them another day of interest. Since they make you pay interest daily at a very high rate I asked since the card machine was down at no fault of mine if I could pay the next day without paying the daily interest since I’m trying to pay it off. They refused to let me ad stated I would have to pay it. I went the next day and put the funds into my account and called them. The card machine was down again. This is a scam because you have no way of paying online and they keep saying the card machine is down so you have to pay an extra day interest. I would give them no stars but I had to put one at least. I did get it paid off at least it shows payoff on the website. But it will take three days to come out of my bank. They could of taken the information or called me back when the card machine comes back up if they are a upstanding company.

They are charging me 490%. I revoked ACH debit permission and they tried anyway, now they add a $30 fee as a result. They are not licensed to do business in NV.On checking a SCOTUS decision in 2015 the state laws DO apply to them unless they are loaning on the reservation. They misrepresented to me that everything they were doing was legal. Despite s is tried to work things out, they refused. I have had some recent medical expenses that ruined the chance to pay many of my bills, They would not listen. I told them that I would try to pay the rest of the principle thru my banks bills pay when I can..The person who called was rude and totally without empathy or concern for those facing difficulties. I am not going to let my teeth further deteriorate so they can get 490% interest. On a prior $200 loan I paid back $826.04 which is $626.04 in interest in a year, an absolute outrage.. The current loan has a principle due of $ 262.30 and as a courtesy since I unknowingly fell in to an illegal loan due their not being licensed to o business in NV will try to pay back the remaining principle but my medical needs must take priority, I am 70 years old in average heath but have some expensive dental work only 1/2 covered by insurance. Yes, I fell for their business thru financial desperation. My income is limited to *** and what I can make doing online surveys (a pittance. Family has helped but they cannot donate to me forever as my only family is also in their senior years. They already made an enormous amount off me and if I could get back their excessive interest from them\ prior loan I woul.

This company claims they gave me a loan of $1200 that I never received nor I agreed to it, they want to start deducting $413 per month, this Company stole my identity, bank account and social security! I have sent them emails to correct this and take me out of their loan, I also provided them with a copy of my bank statement that shows a loan never was deposited into my account when they claim they deposited it. Now they have a collection on that loan.

Constantly getting calls from this company regarding a loan application. I have blocked the numbers and have asked them to stop calling my phone.

Lendumo Response • Dec 16, 2019

The customer’s application has been withdrawn, and they will not receive any more calls fromAmplify Funding.

Received a text from an unknown source with a phone number +***. The text read: "Opps, your scheduled payment failed. Please call us at*** to schedule a make-up payment. For info, reply HELP." This occurred at 8:59 am and within 5 minutes, I received a call from +*** where the agent immediately asked for my name, last 4 digits of my Social Security Number and Date of Birth. She would not answer any of my questions only that she was from Amplify Funding. I said that if she had my name, she must have my account up and she would then legally have to tell me what type of account and my account number was since I had answered her call and verified that she did have the person she was asking for. She said she could not reveal any information until I provided the information she had requested. We went round and round without any resolve. I then looked up Amplify Funding, found an address in Wisconsin and that they were a 'paycheck loan" company. Looking at the address on Google Maps, it shows an empty strip mall. Additionally, according to the Revdex.com, there was not an organization registered by that name. Since I do have a friend who runs a paycheck loan company in my town, he said that if they were not registered with Revdex.com then it is highly likely it is a scam. Since I have never lived in Wisconsin I thought this was a phishing scam. I called the number from the text and again the agent asked for all of my information which I would not provide. I informed her that I was calling the number that they had provided in the text so I had to be who I said I was and that legally, until they formally explained what the call and text was referring to, I did not have to answer any questions providing that information. When I informed her that I could report her to the authorities, she said to go ahead and copy them on the police report. I am also filing a complaint with the Revdex.com as I do not live in Wisconsin where they operate and have never filled out any information so they had to have illegally obtained my information.

THIS COMPANY TOLD ME AN AMOUNT OF PAYOFF ABY CERTAIN DATE. WHEN I CALLED NEXT DAY TO PAY OFF BALANCE IT WAS WAY MORE, I WAS TOLD I COULDN'T PAY IT OFF ON THAT DATE DUE TO UPCOMING HOLIDAY AND THEREFORE I WAS CHARGED ADDITIONAL FEES. RIP OFF'S !!! THIS IS SHAMEFUL AND SHOULD BE ILLEGAL !!! AMPLIFY FUNDING SCAM.

This company has called for 72 hours at all times of the day to say I needed to sign documents that I had applied for a loan. I never applied for a loan through this company and never would considering their high interest rate. The first few times I called back with the number they had left in a voicemail, it either said "non working", or "not in service." When I finally reached someone they had all of my information - name, address , phone number, place of employment, social security number, and name of my bank, which was really scary. The person I spoke with claimed to be ***, whether this is true or not I have no idea. I never provided any of this information to them but yet they had claimed I did or someone used my information to apply for a loan. I have read multiple accounts of their fraudulent activity online and I believe they are the ones who are trying to scam me. I want to make sure this inquiry is not on my credit report and there truly is no fraudulent activity.

This business is no good. I borrowed $800.00 from them in June this year 2019 and have paid them $1375.00 on that loan and they want another $1200.00, which I don’t agree to pay.

I asked amplify to work with me after having several life changing events in a short period of time that left me unable to pay my loan. My father had a heart attack, my husband totaled our car and several other things. I asked to delay my payments and they would only allow me a 2 week delay. I am unable to continue the high payments at this time due to unfor seen circumstances

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. My only disagreement is I did contact them twice more by chat.

On 8/20/19, I took out a loan with Amplify Funding for $700. Since that time, I've made semi-monthly payments of $233.43, which (after tomorrow's payment) add up to a total of $1340.58, nearly double the amount of the original loan.

Although I've kept up with the payments thus far, I cannot afford to make payments twice a month totaling nearly $450. When I originally took out the loan, I was under the impression that I would be making monthly payments of $233.43, not payments of $223.43 every two weeks. I cannot afford this plan.

I originally contacted customer service via chat on 11/14. They told me to call, which I did this morning. The customer service rep told me that the only way to resolve the issue is to pay off the loan for $800+ (which I don't have), but the only way to help me is to send an email. Clearly, I'm getting the run around and this company has no intention of working with me.

To be clear, I'm fine continuing to make payments, but I cannot make payments of $223.43 every two weeks and need to get this amount reduced, so the monthly total is closer to $300 instead of $450. I understand that this will extend the dates of the payments and that's fine with me.

I've worked with subprime lenders before and have paid off loans without a problem -- this is the first time I've run into such huge obstacles and untenable payment terms. For comparison, I took out a loan with OppLoans for $2000 and made monthly payments of $280 for a year. So, I completely understand these are high-interest loans, but the rate and amount of payment is unreasonable for anyone who is seeking to get a short-term loan because they don't have other options. The unwillingness to work out a more reasonable payment arrangement is ridiculous, predatory and, ultimately, sets a recipient up for default.

On 11/11/19 approximately 10:30am was online on what I thought was Speedy Cash website, I put in all my information and submitted it. Right away I received a phone call from Applied Funding (Nate) as I informed Him that I didn't apply to them "Nate" stated He was a 3rd party whom my online request for a loan was sent too. I went ahead and gave all my banking information and was told transfer of $600 would be wired to my account. I was transferred to "Amanda" who claimed to give me a discount on a so called $200 repayment rate to $161. I was then transferred back to "Nate".
I waited 24 hrs as instructed, No Receipt of funds ever Applied to my account at al! I called Amplified Funding back at approximately 1:30 pm on 11/12\19 informed them No transfer and was told wait til 5pm end of business day. I checked at 5pm still no transfer. I became suspicious at that point and checked the Revdex.com reviews on Amplified and saw an F rating, and to my surprise this has been done to other customers! How do I have a contract to pay 161.oo a month for 12 months when no money was ever transferred to my account? I realized I have been scammed. Going to notify them again tomorrow 11/13/19 no funds and contact my bank and file a Revdex.com complaint. I will also do an online review as well.

Well, I just read the first page of reviews, and I could make my review very short just by saying I Agree with each and everyone of them, because I do agree, HOWEVER, I have yet a new issue to ad to this pile.
I took out an 800 dollar loan for the purpose of building a history of payments with the credit bureau. My credit score is low do to the lack of use or history. I asked them all the right questions, and understood the interest rate would,be very high, but it was the price I had to pay to get my score up.
My plan was to finish paying in under 6 months, to create a history , then do it again with another company.
I just found out they do not report the history of payments to the 3 major companies, Equifax, Trans Union and ? [can't recall the third]. They report to their own underwriting department who then reports to 3 off the wall companies... I figured ok, no problem I will just get them to report to the major ones also... That was Joke #1, No way. So I requested, when I am done and make my last payment assuming all were paid on time, will you write a short letter to one of them or to me, showing my good history. The big 3 will take those inconsideration when calculating your score., The Answer was NO! Flat out No. I explained why and try to appeal to their sense of good judgment, Forget about it!;; She just kept repeating the same sentence she was reading from her instructions over and over.. This may7 seem petty to most, but very important if you are looking for what I am looking to do. Now I am paying off an 800 dollar loan to thr tune of 3300 if I go the entire 13 months, FOR NOTHING..
ALSO, They are being tricky with the phone numbers. I called them this morning and got no where except an email address for the corporate office
Just for curiosity I googled the address.. I got three phone numbers all ending in 1999. Apparently, all the departments are in the same building, but when I spoke to a guy this morning and asked for the corporate office phone and email . he said hedid not know the phone number and gave me the email address... The place gives off a very shady persona, like they are hiding something. The customer service department is horrible, and sound as if you are taking up to much of their time... I really do not see how there are any returning customers, or how they stay in business, unless they keep changing their name. They are tribal, native Americans, but their accents are of the country of India... The whole place is screwy, and won't be getting my business back... Take this as a warning, if you work out a loan with them which is extremely easy, YOU WILL WISH YOU DID NOT SOON AFTER....
