I got a loan through amplify funding. I understand that these loans are for emergency purposes, but like another customer said - I think they should be illegal. People do not understand the amount of interest these loans charge. When an emergency comes up, we are just desperate. So I have paid double what my loan was already. By the time it’s over, I will pay four times what the loan was. I called and offered to pay off, with a lower amount now and they won’t take it. It’s crazy !!

I have recently lost my job due to COVID-19 and this is creating a huge problem for me to pay back. What can be done? I had a loan of $500 on 1/10/2020, I have made 5 payments of $147.98 and I still need to pay until July 6. This is a huge financial burden, since I am not working now because of the virus. They have already received $739.00. I will not be able to pay anymore at this point and frankly, this interest rate is ridiculous. If I pay to the end it will come to #1775.76, I just can't do this, please help!!!

I borrowed $700...I have made several payments of $203 every two weeks. I called to request the payoff amount the last time I made my $203 payment. I was told payoff would be $844! I told them this couldnt be because I had just paid the interest that accrued over the last 2 weeks. After arguing with two people I was told my "principal" was now $616 and I accrue 11.90 per day in interest. So if I wanted my payoff to come out 3 days later HOW is it back up to $844?? If I credit them for 4 days of interest it should only be approx $663 and some change. No one could tell me what the extra $180 was for and I feel like they are putting on a penalty for paying off early which the contract specifically says they don't do. I have more than paid back the $700 I borrowed and I feel they are untrustworthy and they read from a script and will not give me specific answers to my questions.

I borrowed $1,000.00 from this company on 10/24/19 to pay the medical copays for a lower lumbar procedure. On 11/27/19 they started taking $344.24 out of my social security check. I haven't missed a payment. When I'm finished, I will have played them $4130.88. My problem is with this outrageous interest I can't afford my meds or the medical payments. I,m not trying to get out of paying. I want to know why the payments and interest rates are so high. They make it so you can't pay other bills. You can't reason with people like these. That's why I contacted Revdex.com. to see if y'all can reason with them. They know people like me really need help,so they take advantage of us. I think there should be a law against companies like this. Please do what you can for me. I will appreciate it greatly.

This is a payday loan of which I have made 7 months of payments with 5 still left to go. My total payments to date equal $$966.00 over twice the amount of loan. I am requesting that due to their unreasonable interest rates that this loan be recognized as paid in full.

Although not required to do so, as a courtesy, the Company will reach out to the customer withan offer to resolve their loan. The customer can call the Company at *** if there are further questions or concerns

I applied for a $1,200.00 loan through *** on 11/18/2019. The loan has since been sold to NISWI LLO dba Lendumo. In January/early Feb I reached out to get the payoff amount as I was hoping to be able to pay it off at that time. I was told the payoff amount was $1011.00. I called today and am being told the payoff amount is now $1272 due to daily compounded interest. I was told that the 7 bi-weekly payments of $322.14 that I made this far ($2,254.98) was applied toward interest only. I explained that this could not be correct and that how could my payoff amount be higher than the original principle, especially if I made bi-weekly payments of $322.14. I told the rep that I was willing to pay something, but not another $1274 on top of the $2254 I had already paid.

Additionally, according to Amplify's website, I now see that they do not lend to people in PA unless they are a repeat customer, which I am not. Lendumo states they too do not lend to people in PA. so basically I should have never been approved for a loan to begin with. At this point they have received $2,254.98 of my hard earned money, that has put me in dire straights financially and I feel that they have more than received their share of interest and principal. I will NEVER get another payday loan again in life! Trust and believe that. They are severely taking advantage of people in need and it's a travesty. This loan should be considered paid in full.

Lendumo Response • Mar 24, 2020

It is stated in the loan agreement that this is an expensive form of borrowing as this is aninstallment loan with high annual percent rates. The loan is set up so a portion of each installment isapplied to the principal balance. The customer can call the Company at *** if there are further questions or concerns

see Attached documentI am 86 yrs old and I took out a loan for my house payment. They are charging 486% on this loan! They did not tell me this before I borrowed this house payment loan. I dont have this kind of money!

I was told that the interest rate would decrease after payments were made but this did not happen. In fact, it remained the same. The interest rate is unreasonable and extremely high. I do not believe this is acceptable

I have had financial issues that led to me borrowing money from Lendumo via on-line. I borrowed $800.00 and set up automatic payment withdrawal from my checking account with Credit Union of Colorado. After my first payment was made, I realized that when reviewing my current payment history that It showed that I have payments scheduled every 2 weeks for 254.99 all the way until August of 2020. So, I contacted them to find out why I'm being charged until then. It was explained to me that they don't have a set amount that they can charge in interest. I found out that they are charging me over 700% in interest for borrowing $800.00. How is this legal for them to do? Do the have a limit to what they can legally charge me in interest? I've never felt so robbed in my entire life. I don't mind paying my loan back, but not with the ridiculous interest rate that they are charging me. What can be done to rectify this situation with them. It's essentially using a legal system (pay day loan set over a 12months period) to extort money from you. Please help me resolve this issue before it becomes a bigger problem in the near future.

I had obtained a $700 loan from this company less than 3 weeks ago. 11 days into the loan I made my first payment of 210.00. then on 3/4/2020 I made a $500.00 payment. upon setting up the payment I asked for my pay off amount after the $500.00 was cleared. I was told $87.00. I call less than 24 hours later to pay off the $87.00. there is no early pay off fee and no payments were late and now I am told I still owe almost $300. I start questioning the online chat and then im told to call collections. I do so and the representative looks up the online chat that took place and when she sees the $87.00 I was told was my pay off after my $500.00 payment she says ohhhh. then after clicking away on her computer and asking me to wait. probally so she can ask what to tell me to get out of this. she comes at me with the other representative forgot to tell me about the interest fees. I said that is not my fault and I want to be honored the $87.00 payoff. she then tells me the 189.00 is a discount. so for 3 weeks on a $700.00 loan they want me to pay them $200.00 interest. that is robbery without a gun. this should be illegal. I told them they are taken advantage a people. they encourage early pay off and if 3 weeks to pay off a $700 isnt early idk what is. I explained this is needed to help my father with his chemotherapy treatments that ended up not helping because he passed away and now I am trying to pay off the loan so I can see what income I am working with to either bury or cremate my father and at the rate they are charging me I wont have enough to do either.

A 1200 dollar loan which ends up to 4600 in payoff is discussing, my account got hacked due to this online loan and now I’m paying 30 $ insufficient funds and 30$ late fees all within 5 days of transactions. Didn’t know the funds didn’t go Thur till the next day , then found out my bank account was hacked, but now I ow extra 60$ in late and returns fees.??thanks once paid will I ever never use this company, or refer anyone else to use. Thanks for nothing, all I have now is troubles, and red lights on my account.

In desperation I borrowed 200.00.
Ill now pay back 800.00 mostly interest.
Do NOT use these loan companies.
Period.

I have reached out to the reps at this company because I took out a 1700 loan back in January 2020.My payment is 496.64 every 2 weeks and I was trying to stretch out the payment period. I kept being told the schedule is set by the computer. I didn't realize initially the amount of the interest until I reviewed my contract trying to see if there was any way to redo the schedule. The APR is 780.04% , I've already paid almost 1500 and am supposed to be paying another almost 6000 dollars! I can't afford this because my employer has been cutting my work hours. My account is in the negative and is only going to get worse. I've become aware that the apr is illegal in my state and would like to settle this account.

Lendumo a lending business owned by the Chippewa Indian Nation. On 2/21/20 I returned a call to the company about a loan that I had previously been told that I had been approved for on 2/16. The loan specialist Justin again took all my information and placed me on hold while he awaited certification from the 3rd party finance company. After a hold of approximately 5 minutes, I was told I had been approved for the loan. He recerified my checking account number, the loan amount, the due date of the first payment, and the amount of each payment and then stated that the funds would be sent to my checking account on 2/21. We agreed on everything and I signed the loan documents and hung up from the call. Later I decided to call back to find out what time of the day the funds would be electronically transferred to my account. Again talking to another agent, I was told that the loan had been rejected. I asked to talk to a Supervisor and spoke to Leo who said that the loan was rejected and there was nothing he could do. I did not make a mistake. I was told the loan had been approved and even negotiated the time of the first installment payment with the first representative. The loan was to be used for car repair, and upon hearing I had been approved and signing the loan documents, I had given the ok to the auto repair company to begin repairs. This is either gross incompetents, lack of training, or a sales person padding his sales record. I was definitely told that the 3rd party loan agency had approved the loan.

During the customer’s verification call, the customer did state that they had filed for bankruptcy recently, but before the bankruptcy information was verified, the Verification Representative approved the loan. A few minutes after, a manager verified the bankruptcy and determined the application was denied. Unfortunately the customer was not notified of the denial before he called in. The customer can contact Factor Trust for more details on the denial once they receive their adverse action letter. The customer can call the Company at *** if there are further questions or concerns.

I applied for a $1,100 temporary loan, at the suggestion of my credit bureau to help raise my credit score. I was approved but they wanted 400% interest. The following day Amplify Funding deposited $1,100 into my checking account. After realizing the amount of interest I would have to pay I contacted the company and cancelled this loan. They had no problem with my cancelling. However, their money was in my checking account and to protect myself, I sent them a check with the stipulation that if they couldn't get their money back from my back they were to cash my check. However, if they did get their money back they were not to cash my check but to destroy it. They not only got their money back from my bank, but they cashed my check against my instructions. I have contacted them numerous times and I am told each time they will send me a check, however, it never shows up. Again I contact them and they keep telling me they will send my money back to me and the check never shows up.

I filed a complaint about Simplify Funding regarding them not giving me back my money I sent them. However, I would like to drop this complaint because they just deposited my money of $1,100 to my account and I’m satisfied with their process. Thank you very much in getting back to me. Please close this complaint out with a satisfactory results. Thanks

In May 2019. I borrowed 650.00 from Amplfy funding. I have paid 174.49

each month starting from July to Nov. 2019. Which is 872.45. And the balance is over 700.00 . I miss Dec. and Jan. My fiancial situation has changed due to some medical issues my spouse is going through. The interest rate is astronomically high and the payoff for this loan remains high. The amount after 5 payments should be much lower. This loan should be considered payed off . The original loan amount was 650.00
