I called the Customer Service w/Lendumo to pay the full amount of my loan and she gave the
amount of $512.00 to pay of and I scheduled this payments
on 6/26/20 but they did not do it. I checked my checking account on Friday instead debiting my account in full amount of $512.00 they changed me the interest of $180.00, then I called the Company and spoked the Supervisor on duty last Friday and she told that they cannot reversed the interest charged of $180.00 and I can pay the full amount of $512.00 on Monday. If this is the case I’m paying to much $180.00 + $512.00= $692.00. I told them I will pay this amount coz I don’t have job and I’m disabled. My concerns is I called the Customer Service to schedule the full amount of $512.00.
I called my bank to reversed this charges of $180.00 interest and I order the stop payments.

I hope you will help me because I’m disabled now and I’m retired now and my SS/Pension is only
$1,095. Per month. I’m trying to pay the full amount of my Loan $512. The customer service that spoked did not do their job. Now I need to double of $692.00. I cannot Pay this Amount.

March 2nd, 2020. We needed money to repair a vehicle. We saw an ad for quick loans. By taking a quick loan (we took $1200) and paying back via twice monthly payments of $262.58 beginning on March 19th, 2020. We understood the terms of the the loan to be for approximately 3 months with 5 payments equaling approx $1300.00 (actual $1,312.40) and believed we weee in agreement with those terms. We were surprised on June 25th, 2020 to see 8 payments removed from our banking accounts with Lendumo taking a total $2,100.64. We immediately stopped payment on our 8th payment when we caught it. I I’m met called Lendumo and asked about the terms of my loan. They indicated the loan terms were for an astounding 12 repayments of $262.48 for a total of $3149.76 which converts to a mind boggling interest rate of 475.49 percent !!! There is no way on this earth I would have ever agreed to those terms. Pendumo actively deceived me through preditory lending practices by failing to honestly disclose the true terms of the loan. I feel that I have honestly met any realistic obligations of payback and would like back the amount overpaid of $524.96. Though I believe their consumer rating of the lowest F (along with one star out of 5) the constant company name changes and the hundreds of similar complaints lodged against them indicate that hey are professional scam artists.

The Company issued a loan after receiving a loan application in the complainant’s name. The complainant states that he/she did not apply for a loan, however. If the complainant believes he/she has been the victim of identity theft, he/she can provide the following to the Company to further investigate: (1) A completed identity theft report, which can be found at the Federal Trade Commission’s website, https://www.identitytheft.gov/Assistant# or a police report outlining the alleged identity theft; and (2) proof of identification, such as a copy of a driver’s license, a copy of a government-issued identification card, or social security number. As a courtesy to *** we will waive the outstanding balance and close the account. Ms. still must send a police report due to policies and procedures to have the account closed.

These crooks want to give me 1700 dollars for a loan and pay back 6000 dollars. This is a predatory lender and needs to be stopped.

I received and $800 loan from the company and have made payments totally $1,101.58 and I called customer service thinking that my loan had been paid in full and was informed that I have to continue making the same payments for an additional 8 months. I informed them that my only income is SSDI and that I could no longer make any further payments. This $800 loan would cost me a total of $$3,304.56 which is over 30% of my annual income. I really need help in getting this resolved as the agent could not help me with this matter; any and all help you can offer would be greatly appreciated thank you.

I got approved for a $800.00 loan. I was not made aware of the interest rates. It is APPALLING!!! It’s going to take me forever to pay this off. I have showed many people the rates, at my bank. How can anyone ever afford to pay theirs off? I have been struggling through this economic disaster as well. I’m heartbroken over just what I’m going to have to lose, trying to solve this matter.

I took out a loan for $700 in February of 2020. As of 6/22/2020, I've paid $963.88. I understand that this is predatory lending, but this was an emergency. I had to deal with prostate cancer this past year, without any health insurance. As of March this year, I've been unemployed because of COVID-19. I called and they skipped the April payment, then I made 2 payments on June 12 and June 17th. I'm extremely distressed by this as I feel that it is unethical to take advantage of consumers during this time and puts me in an even worse situation, I have paid more than than original amount of the loan with interest. I am also concerned in regard to the company that continues to change its name

On June 11 someone took out a fraudulent loan in my name. I contact Lendumo Customer Service telling them and they instructed me to send them a police report. I forwarded a copy of the police report along with the copy of the FTC Identity Theft Report and all pertinent documentation. I called on 6/16 to confirmed receipt and action and was told they needed 24 hours to take action. After I reminded them that 24 hours had passed the representative forwarded the information for action. On 6/17 I received an email that my account was paid. I then called again on 6/18 and was told my account was closed and had been voided. They also confirmed that they had the police report on 6/18. On 6/19 I received a call from collections saying I was in default. I again explained the situation and after reviewing the account details the representative confirmed that they had the police report and my account was closed and that I would receive no more calls. On 6/22 I received another call from collections. This time they indicated that they never received a police report and the account had a cease and desist note that I had contacted a lawyer. This was not accurate as I never said that since I was told my account had been voided. Now they want me to "send" the report so they can investigate even though they already did their investigation and supposedly closed my account. So I rewarded the email with all of the documentation. I now have little faith the this is a legitimate company as there is no way that they are not aware of the police report and my previous discussions, since they are recorded. I am in discussions with the Identity Theft Resource Center in San Diego to solicit additional help in addressing this issue. In the meantime I am also leveraging the help of the Revdex.com to try to end this ridiculous situation. It is bad enough to be a victim of identify theft but it is even more demeaning to get this treatment from this company.

The Company issued a loan after receiving a loan application in customers name. Aftercompleting our investigation, the Company has flagged the account as fraud and closed the subject loan.

I took out a $1500 emergency loan in Feb. 2020. I made the 1st payment and was subsequently furloughed due to COVID-19. I contacted the lender who agreed to skip 2 payments. I have since made 5 additional payments utilizing my unemployment insurance bringing the totlal paid to $2,416.02 Rather than defer the interest, Lendumo ihas continued to charge interest and now says I still owe $2,416.02.

A very rude female contacted about a returned payment, I had asked about. She had spoken to me before saying she was not going to return an overpayment ; as I had agreed on a recorded line to a " deal. " this month to pay half.
When they took the full amount I tried to explaine , she became very biligerant not willjng to discuss the situation rationally.
She then called ag ad in the next morning, making some off the wall comment about me being in bed or something she thought
She explained my balance was being added on to due to a returned payment ( thought my bank states she returned the payment, they did not.)
Then added another amount for a late charge totalling 168.00 I am to pay for her returning the payment. Taking out the wrong payment then for 2 weeks not charging my account the correct amount incurring more interest illegally.
I had to tell her to put everything in writing that I refused to be treated the way she was treating me on the phone. She wont take no for an answer refusing g to reply to my emails then cling me daily to argue with her. She has no concept of business, financed, billing or how to do banking yet she wants to call me up daily to make me feel horrible as she tried to do before.
Ranting and raving about her calculations her idea of what I did what I owe along with what happened; yet my bank will prove her wrong, and incorrectly charging me over due charges putting me in collections. She acts very unstable corrupt dishonest and should not be allowed to bill or debit any one ever! Or talk to them on the phone, what an argumentative rude hateful trouble making female! Pls stop her from harming others like this again along with their bank accounts.

I got a loan for 800 from this company and as hard as things have been for me and daughters threw this virus I really needed the money but none told me that I would be paying back 3000 odd dollars for a 800 dollar loan these people charge way to much interest on there loan I'm having a lawyer look at the paper work they sent me but yeah Dont Do Any Kind of business with this company they truly do want your arms and legs

I did not know how much money there was to pay back, I am going to pay the $600.00 I owe, I do not have any more money to pay! are they going to come after me for the rest?

Trying to change loan repayment amount than what was originally discussed over 2,000 for a 600 hundred dollar amount. I did not agree to that . There taking advantage of people during there hard times through this virus no wonder it was so easy and I see in the complaints I'm not the only one they have done this two I'm on disability and my husband works we are already low income without someone robbing us

I acquired a loan from Lendumo for $200.00 in February 2020. Payment began in March 2020 for the amount of $68.85. However, during the conversation I was not told that the loan will be for 12 months. I have till date made 4 payment totaling the amount of $274.00. I request a payoff today, June 18, 2020 which amounted to $222.00 which is absurd to me as the amount paid total $274.00 and the payoff is $222.00. I do understand they are in the business to make money - however, to pay $616.00 for a $200.00 loan is really bad - truly exploitative. They can have more satisfied customers and return customers with a lower rate.

I am retired and relocated to Colorado to accept a part time position at CSU. When I arrived I was in need of moves and had not established a relationship with a bank here. I had seen an advertisement for this Company, which had a different name when I applied. I did read the disclosures when I signed, and had every intention of paying it off to avoid the insane interest. In December, I had car issues and had to skip a payment. Then in March, Covid arrived and I was told that my job was non essential and I would not have my job. I also turned 65, receive SS benefits and can not file unemployment. I am not a resident of Colorado. To add to this, I have a family member recovering back in my home state of NY, and I will return there the end of the month to offer some help. I have no idea when or what kind of work I will be able to find. I contacted a lawyer friend of mine and they said to write a letter explains my circumstances, asking for a release of the 3 remaining payments. Their customer service department said no. I was honest with my situation and to make matters worse for me, Medicare is now being taken from my SS and so my income is greatly reduced. I initially borrowed $1,000. To date I have paid back $2,035. Please if yo can help in any way I would be grateful.
Sincerely

Hi, I took out an emergency loan with Lendumo on April 17th for $700. I recently paid off the loan and was given confirmation, however they sent the account to collections. I have paid back the original amount of the loan and then some. I have recently been placed on furlough due to COVID-19 for 3-6 months and have a very tight budget; I'm concerned this will affect my already stretched finances and credit.

I borrowed $1200.00 on June16, 2020 and they sent me a notice of a $397.52 due on June 24, 2020, 9 days later! Gouging clients. Which means I was down to $800 net for June. The clerk I spoke to told me my first payment would be July 24.

Although not required to do so, as a courtesy, the Company will reach out to the customer with an offer to resolve their loan.

I took out loan for 800 was told would be in my account by close of business today. It didn't happen. Now they are saying Monday. I'm seeing now on here they are scammers and I've been going through id theft issues before now. I'm hoping they actually keep their word for once or take a hundred dollar discount monthly off my payment since they lied to me so far.

When I took this loan out I advised company of my paydates of 15th and 30th of each month. They tried to take a payment out a week earlier causing my account to over draft and want me to pay late fees. I contacted them and sent paycheck stubs to show my paydates. I am not going to be able to make payments due to paycut and desperately need to close out contract. They are trying to charge 50.14 weekly when I cannot afford that
