I bought a Yoga Pro laptop and within a year the charger/battery brokeWhen I called them to get it fixed, they sent me the laptop that is still not fixedAnd then they tried to replace my $laptop with a $tablet! I couldn't even contact my 'case manager' who was in chargeThe customer service was ok whenever I finally managed to contact them but the way they handled the matter was atrociousNever ever buy from Lenovo!

My first experience with Lenovo customer support has actually been a nightmare! I have buyer's remorseI purchased a Lenovo [redacted] with Adobe and [redacted] Package which Lenovo overlooked when building the PC and forgot to ship to me which is nothing more than a simple over sight on their partThis should have been an easy fix by logging onto my PC and activating [redacted] or overnighting me an activation cardI contacted the Lenovo customer service department and the representative agreed that I did purchase the software packages and did not receive them However, he could not resolve my issue because the value of the software package was over $and he was not authorized to activate or ship product over that dollar amount and would need to get it approved by a supervisor He told me it would take no longer than hours Well, hours have come and gone and here we are three days laterI have had several phone conversations and emails with Lenovo and they have yet to resolve my very simple issues Each representative I have spoken to agreed that I have purchased the software and did not receive it At this point, I feel I should have purchased another *** I have never had an issue with [redacted] that was not resolved with one phone callI have had motherboards and hard drives replaced by [redacted] in less time than thisI cannot imagine how Lenovo would handle a more complex issue like that if they can't resolve a simple order processing oversightSo, at this point I have zero confidence in Lenovo's ability to provide quality customer support or believe that they actually care about their customer's satisfactionBased on my experience thus far, the next computer I will be purchasing will be another ***I would strongly recommend [redacted] to any one asking for my opinionFor any Lenovo representative, here is the case number if you are interested in resolving this issue [redacted] My next step is to contact [redacted] and file dispute regarding this order until the issue is resolved or they send a call tag to pick up the computer so I can move forward and purchase with ***

LENOVO Y- Battery Gauge Reset (Embedded Software) has ruined the hardware of my laptopThis is a known issue that has affected MANY consumersI find it completely ridiculous that they aren't willing to help support those beyond the year manufacturers warranty for a faulty program and hardware inside their product(s)I will never purchase a Lenovo product again--I will be sure to help prevent others from making the same mistake I did

This is by far the worst company I've ever gotten a lap top fromI bought a computer with a messed up hard drive and had to get it replaced without even having it for a full monthI almost lost all of my files and I still ended up having to pay $to have them retrievedSo I got my replacement not even a month ago and it shut off and won't turn back onIt isn't dead, it just won't turn back onI use this computer for school and I cannot risk having a computer from a company that can't manufacture their computers correctlyThese computers are terrible and the company is terribleSeriously, you guys suck, and you should not be in business

Where do I startI purchased a laptop in store for a discounted price because it was opened boxWhen I got it, there was no charger so I had to purchase a chargerI ended up buying a compatible charger, which did not work for the Lenovo Think PadI search every where for the charger and was told to order the charger from the manufacturerI order the charger on Oct through the representativeshe told me I should receive the order within 7-business daysWhen two week went by, I called just to lean that they never had the product in stock.( no one had the decency to call or email) The representative I spoke to was very rude and condescending as if its my fault the order wasn't available the time it was suppose to beAfter giving me the run around, they told me it would take another weekI waited one week in a half, still no charge/ Finally I spoke to [redacted] in Customer service and he advised me I should be receiving the charge soonthe charge came in days after [redacted] placed the right orderwhen It came to me, it was the wrong charge to fit my laptopugggggggI was upset and furious after month of waiting for a charger, it the wrong chargerI call Lenovo maybe 4-times and every time I spoke to a rep, they were rudeMy gosh ,in a small town in North Carolina I would have think different about the people living and working thereThey sent me a shipping label and when I got I sent the charger back immediatelyTill this day more than two months, I'm still waiting on the chargerevery time I call to check on the status of the charger, everyone have been telling me, the case is open and someone is working on sending the charge that is useful for my laptopLENOVO should be embarrassed with how many negative reviews on this siteplease DO ONT ORDER ANY ITEMS HERE AT LENOVOTHEY ARE TERRIBLE AND RUDEITS BEEN OVER MNTHS AND I HAVE STILL DO NOT HAVE THE ITEM I HAVE ORDERSAVE YOURSELF TIME AND MONEY!!!!

Bought a Lenovo G50-and days before the warranty was over it died.Had issues with it freezing a lotFinally got in touch with some one that could me.Sent it back to be repaired taking weeks to find out its cant be fixed.Now they send me another computer really ***.Its slows and you have to really hit the keys.I am not happy with there products and never buy them again.I was looking at a desk top made by Lenovo but that's off the table.Just not happy with this product IDEAPAD Not a good laptop

What can I say about Lenovo? Absolute worst computer I have EVER had the misfortune of owningEver since purchasing a Lenovo Laptop back in January of 2015, this computer has been NOTHING but problem after problemI initially bought it because of its: power, touch screen ability, and largest screen size available for a lap top computer (at the time)Constant errors with programs that stem from the computer itselfEndless hours of trouble shooting error messages that come out of nowhereAfter having spend $2000+ on this computer, it is nothing more than an expensive paper weight collecting dustI should have known better and went with [redacted] to begin withI use both PC and [redacted] and not once, have I had the issues I've experienced on the Lenovo with any [redacted] desktop or laptop I've ownedBuyer beware, Lenovo products are sub par and a waste of moneyWhen you spend over $2k on a computer it had better function with no issuesThink twice before buying any Lenovo product, endless problems, frustrations, and the product ends up being a paper weightWish I could give them a ZERO but is the lowest you can give for the "how likely will you recommend this business..." question below

This company does not honor warranties, they just blame the customer for obvious manufacturer's defects

I ordered my third laptop from Lenovo on November After completing the purchase, I noticed that the 10% discount was not taken off I contacted Lenovo and a nice representative told me he would cancel the first order and put through a second with the discount On December 9, I received a notification that two laptops would be shipped I called customer service, got apologies and a promise that the first laptop order would be cancelled On December 15, both laptops were delivered I initiated a return with customer service, again more apologies and was told that the credit would be expedited On December I received an email stating that the laptop was received and I would receive a credit As of January 9th, I have NOT received a credit and each time I have called to politely inquire about when I should see it, I get more apologies then put on hold and no one ever comes back--I've waited on hold for more than minutes I have no idea why a company this big is delaying a credit of $

Lenovo refused to offer a free or discounted repair on a $1,laptop that was about two years old I was able to demonstrate that the issue was well documented as a defect in their hinges that would cause the screen to crack upon simply opening the laptop, The hinges freeze and crack right through the screenThe cost of the repair was equivalent to purchasing a new laptop Additionally there were no assurances that the repair would be warrantied or that the issue could not happen on the other hinge

Recently bought Thinkpad Xand took delivery days agoTurns out the screen has a permanent mark in the middle of the screenMost likely technical issueI wanted the product replaced and repaired because it is supposed to be in brand new conditionI was transferred by warranty department to customer service and placed on holdThe system dropped by phone call after minutes of waitingSo, I called sales department and got a real person after minutesShe informed that she can't help but can transfer me to customer serviceShe transferred the call and I am on hold and it has been one hour and thirty minutes and still on holdNo one helped me with your lack of quality controlIt is truly appalling to receive a damaged productThe lack of customer service is horrendous

Well, since won't allow me to submit a complaint because my computer is over a year old now, this is all I have left Lenovo pushed out an update recently while I was away for the holidays My machine worked fine before, but when I went back to use it, I had the blue screen of death with a critical process died error My Lenovo account rep gave me a number to support to get the media recovery cd, since they don't ship that out like other companies do I called and the woman on the phone, [redacted] , told me I had to pay $plus shipping and handling in order to fix the update REALLY?!!! I already purchased the media and operating system when I bought the Lenovo I asked for a supervisor and she told me I couldn't speak to one because my Machine only had a year warranty and that was over I asked to speak to someone else and she transferred me to ***, who told me he couldn't talk to me unless I paid for Premium Support!!! Why do I need to pay for support for the laptops (yes I bought more than one)? I would not recommend buying anything from Lenovo/IBM if this is the type of customer support you receive (you have to pay for support) I guess I will be purchasing a new machine from [redacted] that actual works and gets great customer support Not a place that charges you to speak to a supervisor when their employee fails to answer questions and is rude

I have a Yoga Pro Lenovo has terrible service repair and customer service I have a two year warranty, was experiencing A LOT of problems with laptop (look at the review online and you will see this product comes with a lot of issues)Sent it in, and it came back dirty, with screws not properly put back in, and one screw missingBecause of how poorly they put my laptop back together, one of the screws got stripped it and it scratched the bottom of my laptop The very day I got it back, I called customer service who told me there was no need to send it in and I should go to [redacted] instead and they will replace the screws for me for freeI don't live close to [redacted] so it was a month later before I actually went in When I went to [redacted] , they told me those screws are rare so they don't have them and I should contact customer serviceSo I called again, and this time I was told the BEST and EASIEST method is to send my laptop in for repairI was told since all I needed was to get my screws replaced, I don't need to give them my password Three weeks later I get it back, the box is DAMAGED and OPENThey did a lazy job taping up the box so the flaps came openLaptop was DIRTY even though the form I filled in the beginning said the service included cleaning the laptop before sending it backAt least now the screws are properly put inBut my laptop was TURNED ON, my accounts were DELETED, and another account was made with a password [redacted] don't know so I can't factory reset itAll I required, which I specified in the form, was for them to replace the screwsThere was NO reason for them to access my laptop and do anything to it I will not be calling customer service again because their customer service and tech repair are APATHETIC, LAZY, and INCOMPETENTDon't bother buying lenovo productMaybe they have some good ones (my laptop was definitely not), but once you get your product, good luck having issues solved because they're not going to do a good job helping you

Laptop hinge broken down in half a year, within warranty periodYet they don't want to cover under warranty and would not cover shipping

We ordered a laptop for our son who was entering college. We would have purchased from a local store but our son is majoring in computer science and he insisted on this specific laptop. The box that it arrived in contained a minimal amount of protective packing; I was shocked at how it was packed. Sure enough, the screen had been damaged during shipping. We called for a replacement, which we were granted, but our request for overnight shipping was flatly and rudely refused. We even offered to pay for the overnight shipping ourselves. Again, our request was refused. They told us that they do not offer any overnight shipping. Period. Even after speaking with a supervisor. So, no overnight shipping. Instead, they said it would be delivered on Saturday. Fine. Saturday came and went. No delivery. We called and we were told that it would be delivered Monday, which it was. Again, the packing was atrocious and the tape on the box had been cut. Fortunately, no damage was discovered this time and the unit worked as it should. Now, here's the kicker. We returned the damaged laptop with the UPS label provided yesterday. We just received an email confirming that Lenovo had received it. OVERNIGHT. They rudely refused to ship it overnight to us but they shipped it back to themselves overnight. I would NEVER do business with this company again under any circumstances.
