I ordered one sample. I immediately got an email for a second order confirmation. I emailed them back to cancel the second order, I didn't place it. They replied that it was too late to cancel. They then started charging me ninety something twice a month, sent no product, which I didn't want anyway. I finally had to shut down that account and open a new one. Apparently, they do this a lot.

We have reviewed Ms. complaint regarding her account with us. She ordered a full 30 day supply of LivaDerma Retinol face Serum and LiveDerma Vitamin C Moisturizer on October 12th, 2018. We do not offer sample sizes. We sent her a full size bottle to try for the 14 day trial period to see if she liked it, for just the cost of shipping and handling on a subscription basis. Our records indicate that this was explained to Ms Kelly by our customer support department, when she emailed in on October 15th,2018. Our records show that Ms Kelly received refunds for the charge from her financial institution in the amounts of $93.80,$92.85,$99.76 and $97.80. Because customer satisfaction is important to us, we would have refunded Ms Kelly but our records indicate that Ms Kelly disputed and once charges are disputed, we are no longer able to issue refunds in avoidance of double reimbursement that result in fraudulent activities. In addition, Ms ***account with us is inactive; therefore, she will not receive any further shipments. We are committed to providing our customers with the highest level of service and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Their obvious lies are alarming. I needed only to look at the many posts to see that I clearly was not the only one to have been offered
trial sizes. Also, how do they explain charging my account for several months and not sending more product if, indeed they were being anything but unscrupulous. After I was successful in having the charges reversed, they sent one shipment. I can only guess that this was to confuse matters. I'm waiting to hear from my financial institution about returning the belated shipment, but I absolutely will not pay the postage myself. Please do not send any more emails. This is either enough for you to add my complaint to the public list, or not. I simply am not willing to spend any more time or emotional energy on having been scammed by this company. Thank you for what you do.

I placed an order for a free trial of a facial serum paying only shipping in which I was charged numerous times on my account without my knowledge.
I saw an advertisement on a media handle for a retinol face serum trial paying only for the shipping and handling. I ordered the trial on 8/19/2018, and received it. There were no otherwise stated small prints, or any information regarding subscriptions-beyond the free trial. I went on vacation for 2 months and came back to numerous charges on my bank account on 09/02/18 of $93.80 dollars, a charge of $92.85 on 09/03/18, a charge of $99.76 on 10/02/18, and a charge of $97.80 on 10/04/18. The charges were under different names such as Ladonna youth, and Donnaserum.

I Called Liva Derma and complained, which they told me if I send the full package to the sender, that I will be able to get a refund. They have yet to refund anything back to my account. They received the package on 11/29/18. I called them several times to no avail. I complained to the customer service again on 12/12/18, and all the agent (id: ***) told me was sorry and that there is nothing that she could do. I don't think it is the call center's problem, but the company itself. I was extremely disappointed and angry with this company's handling of their mistake. This false advertisement of their product has caused immense pain for me and over 70 other customers.

Desired Outcome

It is ridiculous that almost $400 was taken from my account without my permission. I want this company to own up to their scam and refund what I lost.

Our records indicate that *** filed a dispute with the bank regarding the charges referenced in the complaint, which freezes this account on our end from issuing a refund for those charges. As a courtesy, we sent a refund check for the charges, totaling in $384.21. This should take 3-10 business days to be received to the address listed in the complaint. We hope *** is satisfied with our business and we want to apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused.

Ordered a trial skin care product, every month since I have been charge 100.00+ for products I have not recieved.
Sept 9th I purchased a skin care trial from Liva Derm, in the amount of $5.96. In October the same Company charged my card on 10/15/18 in the amount of $93.80. November my card was charged again 11/17/18 for $99.76. I never recieved any product for these charges.I did not want anymore product after trial product.These illegal business scams are ridiculous. That almost 200.00 dollars needs to go to my bills so I need my money refunded ASAP.

I had a similar experience. I ordered a sample free product. Then when my credit card statement arrived I was charged an additional $198, despite the fact that when I was called to confirm the sample and was presented with the offer of buying more I said I wanted NO more. Definitely a scam. Very misleading. Seems I must rate therefore I have to give it one star, although, I would prefer to use a minus one star.

Charging my credit card account without authorization monthly. Complained to business that did not order skin care subscription, only sample.
In September 2018,Live Derma contacted me via email about trying a sample skin care cream for which I would pay only the shipping charge (by credit card). I paid the $12 or so shipping charge and received the sample. Did not like it and threw it away. fIn October 2018 (about 3 weeks later), my credit card was charged $93.80 and I received another shipment from Live Derma. I rejected the shipment and disputed the credit card charge, which is still under review. The company continues to try and charge my card each month and my credit card has not yet resolved. This is a total scam.

Desired Outcome

Live Derma offered a sample, so long as I paid shipping. Required shipping charge (about $12 or so) paid by credit card. Received sample, was not as ordered and I threw it away. Approx. 3 weeks later, charged my card $93.80 and tried to deliver box. I refused product and it was returned to Live Derma undelivered. Talked to credit card and reversed charge. Next month tried Live Derma charged my card again $93.80 and no product was sent or accepted by me. Disputed charge again. I have called the company to remove the charge - still not resolved.

The company continued to bill my credit card without authorization after an initial sample offer for which I was to pay only shipping, whwhich I paid. I was dissatisfied snd did not pupurchase anything else, Live Derma then used my credit card without authorizaton to charge me $98.30 without sending any product (which I did not order anyway). Scam company - my credit card reimbursed me tecently.

My review is no different than the others I have read. I was unaware of the cancel within 30 days or be charged terms. After speaking with three different customer service representatives who all told me they could not issue a refund after the 30 day trial, I demanded to speak with a supervisor. The supervisor offered me a 75% refund. I was pretty satisfied to receive this offer.

Agent#*** said I cancelled one day late. He said there is nothing I can do about it.

I saw a TV ad for an amazing product and they were so confident the "Trial Offer" was FREE and ONLY pay the 'Shipping ONLY'. So, I placed my order.

I requested the FREE TRIAL Offer for the LivaDerma SkinCare Products; the items offered for this FREE TRIAL were:
LivaDerma Retinol Face Serum (SKU *** and LivaDerma Vitamin C Moisture (SKU *** and the advertisement clearly stated the ONLY charge was for "Shipping ONLY".

The advertisement went on and stated this was an amazing offer and they were so confident with the product it was offered as a FREE trial and I would ONLY have to pay 'Shipping ONLY'.

My checking account, the payment method/account number I provided for the order, was charged $5.96 and $4.96 on October 15, 2018 for the shipping charges. I received both Trial product bottles around the same time.

Then, while doing my on-line banking, I was shocked to see 2 additional charges, dated October 29, 2018, from this company for $93.80 (ref# XXXXXXXXXX) and $92.85 (ref# XXXXXXXXXX).

I had received my "Trial Offer" around 10/15/18, when I originally requested the offer, so I am NOT disputing the "Shipping" charges, BUT the charges from 10/29/18 do NOT correspond with an order, nor were they authorized AND there was NO merchandise associated with these charges!
AGAIN - I ONLY requested the "Trial Offer" and NEVER placed an additional order, OR had another delivery from this merchant OR authorized these charges!

Desired Outcome

I expect a credit to my account or a REFUND CHECK for the charges from 10/29/18. The amounts of these charges: $93.80 and $92.85

My account has been refunded the full amount ($186.65). Unfortunately, the offer as stated for the "trial offer" does NOT clearly indicate any additional charges, other than the shipping and handling, will be my responsibility, as the consumer.
I plan to avoid this product ploy in the future! Companies that do NOT fully disclose information and additional charges need to be held more accountable; I am VERY RELIEVED my situation ended on a positive note, but how many others are not as fortunate-a very expensive & sad lesson!

This is a scam. After you pay the shipping charges, you receive the "FREE".

products. Then, you are charged around $200.00, for the Free products.

I got no satisfaction when I called them. My credit card company had to

I requested a sample size of their product agreeing to pay the shipping only, approximately $6.00 and they stole money from my account that I did NOT give them permission to take. Liva Derma offers "Free" Trial sizes if client pays for S&H Costs. I received full sized products in the mail and was then charged close to $200.
I ordered a free trial of Liva Derma face cream, as advertised. Agreed to pay shipping and handling. Recieved a cream plus and eye serum l did not ask for. The ad did not state anything about future charges or monthly payments, a few days later my Credit Card was charged US 92.85 and US 93.80. This is a fraudulent transaction.

I have sent multiple emails to ***@livadermaeyecream.com and ***@livadermafaceserum.com beginning on October 25th 2018 requesting a refund and have not received a reply.

I am willing to send back the unused product which I did not request to begin with, I have yet to hear anything from them and I am working with my bank to reverse the charges as well as closed my credit card to avoid further charges.

STAY AWAY!!! Do not fall into the "Free Trial" trap.

Im ready to take further steps in order to solve this issue.

deceptive advertising for free sample - customer is later charge over $90 with company saying they required a notice in 14 days
Live Derma skin cream "free sample" is advertized for only cost of shipping. But later customer is charged over $90 with company saying customer had to notify within 14 days if product was not wanted - otherwise you get charged $93.80 The website did not say anything about the 14 days period that I could see. Hidden somewhere??
They only agreed to refund $28.14. I want a full refund.

We have an abundance of customers who understand the terms of our trial upon enrolling and see great benefits from using our products. We do not offer sample sizes or free gifts, we send you a full 30 day supply and allow you to try our product for free for 14 days at only the cost of shipping and handling. If you do not cancel your trial, once expired, you are billed the retail price of the product as well as enrolled in an automated shipping program that is designed to save you from the inconvenience of having to manually place the order every 30 days.

Our records indicate Ms. placed her initial order for the trial on September 18th, 2018. She was then billed $99.76 and $93.80 after her trial period ended on 10/02. She then contacted us on 11/09 where she was offered a 30% refund on the $99.76 charge which she accepted for $28.14 . Because customer satisfaction is very important to us we have refunded the remainder of the charges for the amount of $71.62 and $93.80. This is a total of $186.65 being refunded to Ms. along with respective email confirmations.. It will take 7-10 business days for the refunds to reflect on to Ms. bank account.

REfund promised but not issued
I purchased a trial offer of Livaderma skin products on September 18, 2018. My account was charged $4.95 and $1.95 for retinol eye serum and moisturizer there were also 2 foreign transaction fees on September 18, 2018 On October 12,2018 my account was charged $93.80 by livaderma and $2.62 for a foreign transaction fee also on October 15, 2018 mt account was charged $92.85 by livaderma and $2.59 for foreign transaction fees. I called livaderma and was told that after 14 days if you do not cancel you will be charged every month until you cancel. I cancelled on October 13, 2018. I was told I would receive a full refund within 3 to 10 days. I have not received a refund to date. I have called probably 4 to 6 times to be told an manager will return my call or they will put a note in my file to upper management. I have spoken to supervisors twice and still no refund. On on of my calls I was so fed up I agreed to take a 75% refund. On my very first call they tried to offer my 305 refund when I refused they suggested a 45% refund and I said not I want a full refund. I have a copy of their ad if you would like to see it. I do see there are over 660 complaints filed on this company.

Desired Outcome

I would like a full refund of $186.65. I would also hope that there is a way to stop allowing these people to make fraudulent withdrawals from customers accounts. They pretend to be a person from Good Morning America selling their personal product.

This company offered a facial product for just the shipping charge.

Turns out it is a Trial Offer and I was just billed $93.80 for the product.
I see that there are 62 complaints before me and all the same issues, so I won't reiterate the same issue in full detail.

This company advertised a Retinol Anti-Aging product for just the cost of shipping. There was no small print or Trial Offer mentioned on the order page or checkout.

I live on disability and cannot afford to pay more than the $5+ for these items.

I called to cancel when I saw a charge on my bank account for $93.80 to pay for said products! I cannot afford this at any time!

I am very diligent in shopping as I can only do online due to my disabilities and I would not have signed up for any trial offer or any further charges for this product.

When I called to get his charged removed, I was so furious with C.S. because she kept telling me that I could have the product at this discount and I explained that trial offer, let alone paying for the product after 30 days (ordered 10/19, billed $93.80 on 11/07/18, you do the math.

She continued to "sell" the product to me. Discount after discount despite my pleas to STOP!!!

I ordered one of the cream for my mom and another cream & the serum at $4.95 & $5.96, respectfully.

After just taking a firm stand that she needed to cease and desist all selling attempts, she gave me an RMA# and told me that I would only get credit once the product was returned (I never even opened them) and within 10 business days I would receive the $93.80 refund LESS a $9.95 Restock Fee!!! Since they are still sealed, they will just ship them out to someone else. I demanded in my follow-up email to the cancellation notice I got.

These deceptive practices and charges for a product being offered for free and then locking you into a contract of sorts with small print somewhere but not on the ad I responded to. As I said, I am very diligent on what I am buying and the cost at the time.

This is an unsavory company and I hope that once everyone learns of their practices they put it on Facebook, Twitter, YELP! and any other social media that customers who have been duped can access.

Thank you for this outlet to keep bad businesses on file and a forum to do something about these situations. The following is the details requested:

Product was unopened/sealed and ready to ship out to another customer.

I would like my $93.80 returned and not be charged a restock fee. I now have to borrow money to pay my bills because $93.80 is a large chunk of money that I am sure they will take their time in crediting. They are able to charge you in full after only 21 days, ordered 10/17 & charged on 11/07.

Please shut down, fine or do what you can to end situations like this. False advertisement is against the law but who can fight a corporation?

charge was unauthorized then when called company they refused to take back product and credit my account.

False free trial offer
Through a link in my news service, I received a limited free trial offer for a JuvaDerma skin serum, paying only $4.95 shipping/handling charge. After completing shipping info, I was offered a second product, a skin cream, for further shipping/h@ndling charge of $5.95. I agreed to that, and received both. I did not see anything beyond the free trial offer - limited to US residents and to a limited number available - did not see anything about further charges or subscriptions. Order was placed on Oct. 19. On Nov. 1,my cc company alerted me to an international charge of $93 and change. I did not order anything from the merchant on cc report. Their fraud department contacted the merchant and conference called them with me on the line. Lady who answered had a heavy Indian accent - it was hard to understand her. She said fine print said I had 14 days to try product, then either return them or subscribe to full price of products and keep them. And as it was past 14 days I could no longer return opened products but must pay. I disputed seeing anything other that free trial paying only s/h. She got her supervisor, who agreed to take only 85%. I said no, she dropped to 75%. I still protested and she agreed to a full credit back of the $93 but required I return unused products. My cc company monitored this, and confirmed the $93 was credited that evening. I feel this was a rip-off in their advertising/sales program. Much was made on their site of limited free trial - that full price would be due was not evident or obvious. I would never have accepted the free trial if I thought I would have to pay $93 as I knew nothing of the quality of this product. Their ad made much of this product as an exceptional winner on Shark Tank program, endorsed by Oprah and Dr. Oz. Now I wonder if any of it was true. And why did the charge on my cc come from an international entity?

I was tricked into buying a second delivery, have not even used the first delivery, and cannot get my full refund, even though the product is still unopened and sealed. The first delivery was free and the second came without nitification and they charged my card $99. When I finally found a phone number to call and cancel(thanks Revdex.com) they would only offer a 35% discount/refund on the shipment. If I could leave a zero rating I would!!
