I fell for the reduced cost "sample" of Liva Derma skin cream and face serum. I disputed the CC charges, and now I am told I cannot get a refund.
Purchased online the Liva Derma skin serum and cream for $1.95 (BHPEAKN*ANTIAGING) and $ 4.95 (BHPEAKN*GENTALEYE) around 07/14/18. On 7/29/18 and 7/30/18 I was charged $93.80 by antiaging and $92.85 by gentaleye. I filled a credit card dispute immediately and was conditionally refunded. I contacted the companies to dispute the charges and close any applicable accounts (that I was UNAWARE THEY HAD OPENED) On 9/20/18 I was recharged for these items. Called *** and they said there is nothing they can do as I must've missed the "no subscription" box in the fine print. I called the merchant at (XXX) XXX-XXXX and was told that since I filled a billing dispute, they were unable to refund my money (even if I sent it back- I have not used ANY of it as the package arrived damaged and I am not going to use something on my face that is not sealed). It's great that I can't get a refund for a product I don't want and never use as they both arrived damaged in the mail. I am fuming and feel so taken advantage of. I would never have signed up for this if I knew I was going to be charged this. You order it, it take days to ship and then within two weeks from your order you are charged $90++?!?!? What a horrible business. Or a great scamming one.

Desired Outcome

I want a refund of the $93.80 and the $92.85 to my Mastercard. This would make the situation "right". If not, send me replacement items that aren't damaged. Customer service was NO help and I fail to believe that they cannot process a refund after a charge was disputed. This is just a lie. I would just want my money back. This is really all I want. I just want it off my *** card and want a refund. I can't even use broken merchandise!!

To Whom This May Concern,

We have reviewed Ms. complaint regarding her account with us. She ordered a full 30 day supply of LivaDerma Retinol Face Cream on July 15th, 2018. We do not offer sample sizes. We sent her a full size bottle to try for the 14 day trial period to see if she liked it, for just the cost of shipping and handling on a subscription basis. Our records show that Ms *** received refunds for the charge from her financial institution in the amount of $93.80. Our records indicate that this was explained to Ms ***, by our customer support department, when she called in on September 24th,2018. Once charges are disputed, we are no longer able to issue refunds in avoidance of double reimbursement that result in fraudulent activities. In addition, Ms ***'s account with us is inactive; therefore, she will not receive any further shipments. We are committed to providing our customers with the highest level of service and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Sincerely,
Customer support

It is true I disputes the charges, but I was charged them anyway. I never signed up for two $90+ subscriptions. I hate this company and their scams.

Customer Response • Oct 22, 2018

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I was scammed out of $300 for a shoddy product that arrived damaged that I never even used. I was told I would be shipped a replacement, but of course this never happened and I'm out $300 I desperately needed.

I am completely unhappy with this business and their practices. Enjoy my money, thanks for making my life harder.

I was super excited to try these supposed amazing products but I am left with a bad taste after discovering two unauthorized charges for $93.80 on my credit card. The representative that answered my call repeated that I had 14 days to call and cancel after my initial trial order (I saw none of this in writing) and offered her employee discount for future orders.

Needless to say, I did not accept this offer because 1) I haven't used the product long enough to see results, and 2) the unauthorized charges have left me very unhappy with the company as a whole.

Was billed without consent
Was billed for products I did not agree to and have reached out to company multiple times over a 3 week period and have yet to recieve a response to my communications.

Desired Outcome

Refund and no further charges

I ordered a "free"sample and paid shipping. The following month they charged me $93 even though I didn't order anything.I never got anything.
I ordered a free sample on the internet. The print was too small for me to see they would send more and charge me for it every month. I had no address to cancel until I found it on the Revdex.com site. They charged me $93. for product I didn't order and then didn't even send it to me. They just took my money!

Desired Outcome

I would like my money back!

I was not told this "free trial" was a recurrent(automatic reordering)subscription.Caller refused to let me cancel the order.
9/5/18- ordered a " free trial" of a skin serum advertised by Kathy Lee Gifford on TV.
9/12/18- A caller representing the company Asked to verify the order and got the billing information. I received an order number *** ). Later the same day a man called me also representing the company .He also wanted the payment info.I hung up on him.Later the same day a third man called me wanting the payment info.He told me the info was not registered on the order. He said I had to pay for the serum , take a picture of myself and call the company telling them how I liked it or not.The order for the serum would be repeated automatically and charged to my credit card. When I protested.I was told I could not cancel the order.I should get it and then choose. But I only had 14 days from ordering to cancel or the auto-renew would begin. He gave me a phone number (XXX-XXX-XXXX)which remained unanswered. I think this is a lying skam to not tell people what they are getting into using a celebrity name.

Desired Outcome

cancellation of order and refund of any amount of money paid for "product".

I thought I ordered a free sample & paid for the shipping charges. Then 14 days later I was charged over $90.00 twice!
On 8/16/18 I saw an ad on social media for a face lotion that I read about saying it was a free trial & you just paid the shipping costs of $5.94. I was only going to order that but an additional offer popped up for eye cream & somehow that got ordered too for an additional $4.95 or so. No problem!
However exactly 14 days later, on 8/30/18, I was was charged $92.85 & $93.80 for the face & eye cream. I found an email address & emailed them on 8/31/18 to cancel my order & demanding a refund.
On 8/31/18 I received an email stating it was never listed as a free trial & the terms & condtions stated if you didn't cancel the trial within 14 days you'd be charged the full amount of the item!
On 8/31/18 I called the number listed on the email (XXX)XXX-XXXX & asked to speak to Taylor, Live Derma Customer Support, the name on the email. I was told she was busy but could she help me. I explained the situation & said there was nothing she could do because it states clearly in the terms & conditions this was not a free trial!
Then she quickly offered me a &50.00 refund on each item if I promised I wouldn't try to collect any more fees. I said that it sounds like she makes this offer often because she had it memorized & said it so smoothly. She chuckled!
On 9/4/18 I received 2 $50.00 refunds.
I believe they know exactly what they are doing! It may not say free but it definitely says trial offer just pay for the shipping! I'm disgusted by their thievery!
Sincerely

Desired Outcome

I'd like the rest of the money they charged my account for- $42.85 & $43.80.

I ordered a free trial. I thought it was a free trial. Later to find out that they charged my account $93.80 and $92.85.

I tried disputing these with my bank first, but during this time frame I used it once and it broke my skin out so I stop using it immediately. The bank comes back and tells me that they cannot do anything. Now Liva Derma says since I went to my bank which I thought was the correct way of handling this they cannot do anything. Bottom line is that one I did not authorize any charge except for the free trail; especially since it broke my skin out immediately.

Desired Outcome

I want the charges reversed on my account.

I did not receive any refund for this product. I can show bank records where it was refunded and then charged back to my account. Anyone that is fraudulent it is this company. I will be happy to supply bank statements. When I called they told me because I disputed through my bank. They want discuss it with them. All I want is my money back for unauthorized charges.

Customer Response • Oct 17, 2018

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
This is completely false. This company told me since I went through my bank they will not talk to me. However, my bank charged me because this company informed them that the charges were valid. I can provide me bank statements if needed. I want me money back.

They advertised a sample and then charged me another outrageous charge. The product also did not do what it was advertised to do.
They charged me about $6 and sent me a jar of cream which was to help with wrinkles. The cream did not have any effect at all. Then after a month they charged me another $95 for the jar of cream. There was not any info with the product--no phone, email address or any sign that I was to be charged.

Desired Outcome

There was a phone number on our bill so I called it and got the bill reduced to one half at$41. Of course I would like my money back but most importantly I would want my information deleted since I have already received one call wanting me to buy more product. Also another product is charged to my credit card. This company isn't what it appears and I feed very deceiving.

I am not rating this product. It is advertised as trial. They charged me the 5.95. Then charged me 93.80 without my approval. They said website said it was a trial offer if not approved in 14 days full amount would be charged. I still cannot find that statement. And their customer service Jessica was a smarty and has not done my refund yet!
Don't trust and they have made me never trust an offer on the web again. Fraud fraud fraud

I simply thought that I was ordering a sample of the product. I did not see realize that the company would be charging my credit card
I realized today, Sept 4, 2018 that the company has been charging my credit card for three months worth of product that I did not order. I did receive shipments, but didn't know why. I called and asked that they cancel the account, which they said was done today, but I also asked to send the product back and receive a refund of over $500 that was charged to my credit card. I did not open the product that was sent. When I took the samples of the product to my dermatologist, she stated that it was an inferior product to purchase it. My husband is retired and I need to have the charges refunded on my credit card. I believe that this company is misleading the public by selling a sample and then charging credit cards without authorization. Thank you.

Desired Outcome

I want the company to refund all of the charges against my credit card, that total over $500.

Liva Derma deposited $186.65 in my bank account on 9/13/18, and the bank withdrew the same amount they had paid me. So I got my money back. Woohoo! So I guess my complaint is over, but I hope you continue to pursue this company's false advertising actions. Thank you

What a joke. I understand that unscrupulous companies are a dime a dozen. I got sucked into the two week "didn't you read the agreement', yeah right.

I called customer, 'non service' and got an agent reading from the computer screen. They kept offering me discounts. not good enough.

The product burned my skin. I refuse to use a product that not only is the printing on the label so small that I could not read it with a magnifying glass. There were no legible instructions even on a paper. What are they hiding. Company may not be doing anything illegal, but immoral, and unethical? If it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, it is a duck. This company is a total rip off. If they had a good product they could stand behind it, and not CHEAT the customer out of their money! This company sucks!!!

To whom it may concern,

After analyzing Mr. complaint we want to apologize for your experience with our product and for any confusion. The package you received is a full thirty day supply, we do not offer sample sizes. We sent you a full size bottle and allow you to try it for the 14 day trial period to see if you like it, for just the cost of shipping and handling. If you like the product after your trial, you are billed for the actual cost of the product and enrolled in a monthly subscription. The reason we send you a full 30 day supply to try is because of the overwhelming response and feedback from customers who love the product, and want to continue seeing their results. Our records indicate Mr *** accepted a 45% partial refund of $42.21 and $41.78 when he called in on 09/06. Because customer satisfaction is important to us, we have refunded the charges made on 08/27 in full for the amounts of $97.80 and $97.76. Total $197.56. Please allow 7-10 business days for the refund to reflect on to his bank account. In addition,Mr. account with us is inactive; therefore, he will not receive any further shipments. This company advertise FREE samples of the Face Cream and eye serum just pay shipping, which I did, now they have debited my bank acct for $95.80.
I called them and they gave this story was the price for the product which I did not know anything about it, they said it was FREE. I think this is a scam, my problem is how they can rip off the older people.

Desired Outcome

the refund was told to me was 45% of the 95.80, I want my full refund

Thank you for your prompt attention on this matter, I did receive the balance of $51.59 to my bank account which settles the full amount that was debited from my bank.

Again thank you

LivaDerma & KSskincare are scams. Emailed me cancellaton confirmation but charged my card & lied on the phone instead of fixing their error. Thieves!
I purchased LivaDerma on July 27th because they said SHARK TANK investors all wanted them. CS rep told me on the phone that I need to cancel by the 28th of August.

Product is mediocre, nothing special.

I cancelled on August 27th and received 3 cancellation confirmation emails.

August 28th I see a pending charge for *** Didn't recognize this name, went to their website and don't recognize the product. When I call, they tell me on the phone that they are Liva Derma and that I didn't cancel in time to avoid $93.80. CS rep lies to me about how they gave me 30 day extention and that I was told to cancel before the 27th. I was never told about any extention, all I was told was that I had to cancel by August 28th to avoid charge and receiving more products. CS rep lies that he's listened to our recording. This company is unbelievable! I haven't received the product, never heard of KSskincare cream, don't know if I would be allergic to KSskincare cream or not and most importantly, I cancelled in time. But from reading other complaints, it doesn't matter if you cancel a day, a week, or a month later, they are a scam....they are the lowest type of thieves who want to take your money on technicality that they don't even abide by.

Desired Outcome

This business needs to credit me for the $93.80 for KSskincare that I've never used before nor have received.
