They charged my account $93.80. without notice. I was never told these charges would be taken out of my account.
I ordered product on 9/15 after I was told that there would be no other charges. the name on the withdraw was *** ($10.00) Also *** XXX XXX XXXX flus *** ($4.95)
Then they charged my account $93.80 in October. I called complained and they gave me the run around,
all the while on a very statice phone line. THe last person I talked to gave me a rma# 9AXXXXXEA13A
to return balance of product my account was supposed to for $93.80. I shipped the stuff back on 10/4/2018. Have not heard from them.

Desired Outcome

I want my total $93.80 back. I need this money for food. I am on social security, that is why I double checked on if they were going to charge more later. The guy said no.

To whom it may concern,

After reviewing Ms. complaint we want to apologize for any confusion. The package you received is a full thirty day supply, we do not offer sample sizes. We sent you a full size bottle and allow you to try it for the 14 day trial period to see if you like it, for just the cost of shipping and handling. If you like the product after your trial, you are billed for the actual cost of the product and enrolled in a monthly subscription. The reason we send you a full 30 day supply to try is because of the overwhelming response and feedback from customers who love the product, and want to continue seeing their results.

Our records indicate Ms. contacted our customer support department on October 4th, 2018. At that time she was issued a return merchandise authorization number, which was issued along with the cancellation of her account with us. The products were received October 13th, 2018. As customer satisfaction is very important to us we have decided to refund Ms. the charge of $93.80 for the product she returned, the only other charges are of $5.96 and $4.95 for shipping and handling. Please allow 7-10 business days for the refund to reflect on to her bank account. In addition, Ms. account with us is inactive; therefore, she will not receive any further shipments. We hope she is satisfied with our business and we regret not meeting your standards.

Sincerely,
Customer Support

I to was misled by there ads. I paid for shipping and handling to try 2 products. Five days after receiving there product I find on my bank statement they not only deducted from my checking account the shipping charges but also another charge of $93.80 for products I never received! they took it on their own to use my debit card again without me authorizing it. I went to the bank and closed out my debit card and was issued a new card. I did call them and the first rep. hung up on me so I called back. I got another rep. and she said they only give back 45% of my money they took out. That amount came to$42.21. I agreed to this amount . at least it was some back!. These people are scams artists and need to be stopped

Liva Derma skin care company was wrong on the date I ordered this product. I ordered this on October 10 with the understanding I would have 15 days to try it before they signed me on. They deducted the $93.80 before the time period was up! I did pay the shipping and handling cost that they required to ship it. I was to receive there trial size not a 30 day supply as they have stated. Yes I did cancel this account also. . thank you so much for trying to help me and looking into this matter. they are not honest people. Sincerely

Sincerely,

Ordered samples, agreed to pay the shipping. But billed for entire cost nearing $200.
I purchased sample products on 9/19/18 and agreed to pay the shipping. My statement shows that I was charged nearly $200 dollars for the sample products. When I called they said I missed the 14 day return date policy so I was charged the full amount. They will not refund the money even though I did not open the package. The agent then offered me multiple discounts up to 60% to keep the product on a monthly basis. I very specifically told her to take me off their roles, that I want to cancel. I have searched for the web site to see for myself the 14 day return policy and when I get to the site they have entirely different products and no mention of any return policy. The product was sent from Savannah, Georgia. The bill came from Pennsylvania and your info indicates a Florida address. This is a scam and I'd really like to get my money back I would gladly return the unused, unopened samples.

Desired Outcome

I would like them to take the charges off my Citibank credit card bill.

To whom it may concern,

After reviewing Ms. complaint we want to apologize for any confusion. She ordered a full 30 day supply of LivaDerma Retinol Face Serum and Vitamin C Moisturizer on September 19th, 2018. We do not offer sample sizes or free gifts, we send you a full 30 day supply and allow you to try our product for free for 14 days at only the cost of shipping and handling. If you do not cancel your trial, once expired, you are billed the retail price of the product as well as enrolled in an automated shipping program that is designed to save you from the inconvenience of having to manually place the order every 30 days.

A total of $186.65.It can take up to 7 to 10 business days for your refund to show up in your account. We have cancelled her account with us and so she will not receive any further shipments. Confirmation emails regarding the cancellation as well as the refunds have been sent to the email address Ms. provided upon filing her complaint. We hope she is satisfied with the credits she received and we apologize for any confusion this may have caused.

Ordered a trial for the skin care product and paid only for shipping. Next thing I know, I'm enrolled in auto ship and my card was charged $93.80
Online purchase for the cost of shipping only. Retinol eye serum and Vitamin C moisturizer. When I found out that my card was charged $93.80 fifteen days later, I called and asked for a refund and to cancel the account.

Agent *** said she could give me a 35% reduction in charges but that's all she could do. I asked to speak with her supervisor. Agent 36 came on the line, apologized that she couldn't refund my account and offered me 45% reduction in charges. Agent *** cancelled my account & I received an email confirmation. I asked to speak to her supervisor.

Agent *** Laurie, the supervisor told me she was sorry, but she could not refund the unwanted autoship or charges and offered me 45% reduction in current charges. I asked to speak to her supervisor. She said that they were all busy, put me on a brief hold, and came back saying that "upper management" could give me 75% off current unwanted autoship charges but that would be all they could do. She send an email that she is refunding 75% of the $93.80 charges or $70.35.

They are a terrible scam and I would like you to stop them from doing this to other people.

Desired Outcome

Never charge my card again and never contact me again. Cease business operations and stop scamming unsuspecting public.

Final Consumer Response /(2000, 13, 2018/11/21) */

ordered free sample of product and then credit card was charged 92.81 2 times but credit card company did not accept the second one. I was fraud-ed
I ordered this product online. I ordered the one thing advertised Liva Derma retinol face serum, 30 day supply, shipping cost $5.96. They sent me 2 products and charged another shipping cost of $4.96, total of $10.91. This transaction by online ordering was less than a month ago (can't remember the exact date unless I can find that information from company. I received a copy of order immediately telling me "order is being processed and will ship promptly." Order ID: ***. That number was on that paper 2x like one for each product that I would not have noticed until now that I'm reading it. It says I'm to receive a 30 day supply for 14 day trial. Nowhere on that ad did it tell you that you can cancel before your credit card gets charged unless you're some well versed person that can read between the lines and know it was a scam. At my age, I'm not that person. So today we received our credit card statement which showed a $92.81 charge and thank goodness our credit company has a hold on the second charge Liva Derma charged to my credit card. They are holding this charge and was told by a credit representative that I had been scammed and to contact Liva Derma to get this straightend out and to cancel this subscription to the product or I will be charged every month. I am 76 years old and very upset that this has happened to me or to anyone in this same boat. According to what I've read online now about that company, I see that many, many people are in the same boat as me. It's sure ashamed that companies like this can't be shut down permanently. I guess it was my fault to order this stuff but I sure thought it was a good product and good company however I'm finding out the wrong way that they are a company making their money from innocent people. I must have this charged removed from my credit card as a shipping charge for that "only product" product that I ordered was $5.96 a big difference from the amounts that I was charged. I only received those trial products anyway and have not received anything else which I do not want. They didn't even give me a chance to try their product to see if I was interested and rich enough to keep purchasing it every month. My husband is very upset about this situation as we live on very small income and this was sure past my allowance. What do I have to do to get the charges stopped to may credit card and to have the amount that was charged returned to the credit card? I will never ever do this trick again...to trust someone or a company that looks completely honest and legitimate to scam honest, innocent people like me and many others. Please give me the help.

Desired Outcome

Not sure if the "billing adjustment" is the resolution I want to use. My credit can be screwed up because of this company's corrupt practices. I need to have this subscription of their product cancelled and charges removed from my credit card. I did not order a monthly supply of this stuff. I sent for the trial size, only for ONE product for which I still had to pay a shipping charge of $5.96. Instead I received two products and was charged $4.95 for the second product that I did NOT order. The two separate shipping charges totaled $10.91. These two products together only weighed 2 oz. in one tiny 5x5 inch package for which part of that was not even ordered and was charged an unwarranted a of tnuom$10.91 like they stuck to me. Even if I was going to keep if I had intentions of ordering this stuff I would not pay two separate shipping charges.2 oz. That little package fit very easily in my mailbox and sure didn't cost that much for LivaDerma to ship it (at 2 separate shipping charges.) That company is making big bucks from charges they are acquiring from innocent people. I want that company LivaDerma to return those charges to my credit card company and LivaDerma to remove my name and anything else they have from their mailing and subscriber list. I was in for the sample or trial size, whatever they call it, and not to be a permanent customer. Nowhere did I order this product monthly. They have their online ordering instructions written so that innocent people are definitely confused and misunderstand their instructions. Innocent people order this advertised product thinking they are receiving the trial size only and paying shipping for one product but instead receive two products for which they are charged two separate shipping charges. This crooked company is only there to scam people who think they are dealing with a legit company. Somehow LivaDerm should be put out of their crooked business. It is such a shame for this type of thing to happen but unfortunately it does and it takes advantage of seniors like me and others. Right now there could be hundreds of people being ripped off like me while LivaDerma is rolling in their wealth. However, how many of these people will realize what is happening to them and will have their credit jeopardized or ruined. My husband and I have excellent credit that we have worked very hard to establish and sure want to keep it that way instead of it being credit ruined because of an innocent mistake on my part (that obviously many others have also done) from a dishonest company that should not be allowed to operate. My resolution is get those charges that went on my credit card, removed and all what LivaDerm is calling a subscription from me cancelled. I need direction in how to do this, please.

Deceiving billing

I have had much of the same problem that everyone else has had. I signed up to receive the proverbial "free" product but made it perfectly clear immediately that I did not want anything further. Then on second thought I told them to just cancel the whole thing but they told me it was too late to cancel the shipment of the free items but they assured me there would not be any further charges or shipments. This was particularly strange since this was all done in less than a twelve hour period. Worse, I was charged $93.80 on 9/20 and $99.76 which is currently pending. Apparently they stopped the shipments as I have not received anything further but did not stop the charges to my account. Not only do I insist on a refund but want my name and account number removed from their database immediately.

Desired Outcome

Refund and removal from their database

In August I responded to an advertisement on Facebook offering a free trial of Levaderma serum and face cream. All that I was required to pay was the shipping of 4.95. I gave them my credit card number and email address. I never obtained confimation of my purchase via email but later shipment of serum and face cream arrived in the mail with no return address/no packing slip. This month I noted a charge of 92.85 for the serum and 93.80 for shinehair which I never even received, only the face cream). I never did consent to these charges. When I called thecompany, they were very vague and offered only to reduce the price of the products and remind me of the my skin would benefit from using these products. I also found out that they had charged 99.76 and 97.80 to same card during month of October. Per the representitive with whom I spoke, my account has been credited for these charges but they refused to refund the September changes of 93.80 and 97.80, although I never agreed to pay for these products and didn't even obtain a packing slip with the products when they were originally sent. I have notified my credit card company and have a billing dispute pending. This is a scam and these thiefs must be stopped.

Desired Outcome

Refund Charges on 9/12 for 93.80 refunded and 9/13 for 92.85 refunded. While the representative informed me that my account was cancelled and I was credited for the October charges, I don't trust that they were refunded. I am requesting that any charges, outside of the initial shipping and handling, be removed from my charge card.

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)

I never ordered 2 items from the start (Sept 2018). I ordered '1' free sample and rec'd 2 items. I have been charged to-date: $197.56
On 9/30/18 I ordered a free sample of eye serum (shipping only) $5.96. I rec'd a phone call from the company stating my 2 transactions did not go through online. I explained I only ordered the eye serum and did NOT wish any other items and did NOT wish anything else nor was I looking to have the product shipped again. I did not authorize my credit card to be charged after the initial FREE purchase and pay shipping.

On 9/30/18 I see my credit card was charged: $5.96 and 4.95. 2 items were shipped: 1 eye serum and 1 face cream. I thought that was the end of it and have not heard from this company since nor have I rec'd any products in the mail since the 2 FREE items (charged only for shipping $10.91).

Today I see my credit card was charged: 10/14/18: $93.80 and 10/15/18: $92.85. I phoned the company today (10/17/18) and was told I had 14 days to cancel the auto-ship (which I never agreed upon from day 1 and specifically told them on/or around 9/30/18, I was NOT interested and to NOT charge my credit card (which they obviously have done several times now).

I expect a FULL REFUND on any charges from this company: 10/14/18 $93.80 and 10/15/18: $92.85 (and better not see any further charges on my credit card!)!

Desired Outcome

I expect a FULL REFUND on any charges from this company: 10/14/18 $93.80 and 10/15/18: $92.85 (and better not see any further charges.

To Whom It May Concern:

I wish to complain about extremely poor customer service, and struggles to cancel my order with your company. I purchased your Dermis Eye Cream on June 6, 2018 (Order Number: *** through your web site. A package arrived not with the Dermis Eye Cream but Retinol Face Cream instead. A few days later a separate package was sent with additional products (Revitalizing Instant Eye Lift Serum and Revitalizing Anti Aging Serum) that I did not order. There was no mention that additional products would be sent and charged to me. I called on June 20, 2018 and spoke to a representative named Steve. I asked that my entire order be canceled. I asked that I only be charged for my original order and that the remaining charges be refunded. I was told that my order was canceled. However, I continue to receive products that I have not order and I am charged for them.

I am filing this complaint for several specific reasons.
I ordered only one product, but I was charged repeatedly for others that I had not ordered.
The product name on the order did not match the product received.
After calling and requesting that the order be canceled, I continue to receive and am charged for additional products. These additional products were returned to sender with the US Post Office.

After further investigation of your company, I found many inconsistencies for your business location and contact information, multiple physical addresses and phone numbers, misleading marketing, and shady business practices. I also found many complaints made by other consumers with similar experiences to my own. Clearly, this organization is not one that consumers can trust and with which I want to do business.

I would like a written statement explaining your company's position and what you will do about my complaint. I also would like a print out of all charges made to my credit card and refunds for all but the first order effective immediately.

I expect to hear from you as soon as possible to resolve this problem. If I do not hear from you within ten (10) business days, I will file complaints with the appropriate consumer agencies and consider my legal alternatives. I may be contacted at the above address, phone number, or email address.

Sincerely,

Liva Derma Skin Care Response • Oct 22, 2018

To whom it may concern,

After reviewing Ms. complaint we want to apologize for any confusion. She ordered a full 30 day supply of LivaDerma Retinol Face Serum on June 4th, 2018. We have an abundance of customers who understand the terms of our trial upon enrolling and see great benefits from using our products.
Our records indicate Ms. has not contacted us. Because customer satisfaction is extremely important to us, we have refunded Ms. for the charges from June - October. A total of $488.84. We have cancelled her account with us and so she will not receive any further shipments. Confirmation emails regarding the cancellation as well as the refunds have been sent to the email address Ms. provided upon filing her complaint. We hope she is satisfied with the credits she received and we apologize for any confusion this may have caused.

Sincerely,
Customer Support

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I contacted the Liva Derma company on several occasions including: 6/20/18 2:11pm and spoke with customer support rep Steve. He stated that I didn't contact them right away when I received the product so they could only refund me 50% of the eye serems cost that I NEVER requested. Steve also stated that my account was closed.
*Each month I contacted Liva Derma and returned the product by USPS. They kept stating they would cancel my account but didn't.
I mailed a letter with the product I received for October to Liva Derma. The letter was sent out on October 14, 2018 requesting a refund and cancellation of my account.
I received emails from Liva Derma that they were going to be refunding my account on October 22nd for $488.84. The most recent statement goes to October 19th. I cannot verify that the refund has been made plus I received another shipment from Liva Derma.
On my Visa statement with a closing date of October 19th, I have two charges in the amount of $98.76 with a company name of "EyeSerum" listed.
The week of October 29th I received another package in the mail, so I am not convinced that they have cancelled my order and stopped any further shipments.

I would appreciate my complaint remain open until I can verify the refunds have been received and no more shipments arrive.

Sincerely

Beware of customer service and fraudulent charges!
I was contacted on my cell phone by Live Derma. The lady said if I wanted the product I would only pay one $5.95 for shipping. I asked if I would get billed if I did not want the product. She said NO. I asked multiple times. She never said to call back before the 14 day trial was over. I was then charged $5.96 and $4.95. I called her back and she said "oh sorry I made a mistake!" I was then billed the $93.80. When I called they kept saying "it says you have to call within 14 days. It says it on the website." Well I never ordered it from the website. I ordered it online so I NEVER saw the terms. They gave me $70.30 after I screamed for awhile. What a scam!! BEWARE

Desired Outcome

I would like the rest of my money back which would be $23.45 but I will leave it at that. People need to beware.

Had ad that said for $4.95 you could get FREE trial sample of Liva Derma. They also charged me $5.96.
Sent $4.95 for FREE trial of Liva Derma. They, also, charged me $5.96. I've since had $186.65 deducted from my checking account. I looked up their reviews, and,I guess it's my fault I didn't cancel within 14 days. I have since cancelled any further shipments, I hope, through one of their contact numbers. Am I just going to have to swallow my pride, and, accept it as lesson learn, or, is there a way to get that money back? I'm a 79 year old widow on a fixed income, and, didn't mean to sign up for all those shipments. All I have to show for $186.65 is a very very small vial of serum, and, a small jar of moisturizer. HELP?

Desired Outcome

I would like them to confirm in detail that they have cancelled any future shipments. Also, I would like a refund if at all possible. I realize that might not be possible, because, of the time restriction, but, one can hope.

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)

I don't like this company and will never order from them again. I ordered two items from Liva Derma that were advertised as FREE trial items and all I had to do was pay for shipping and handling. About 4 days after I received the products, they tried to take $93 from my account. Thank God, I only keep money in this account for online orders and didn't have the funds available. Of course I called them about trying to collect the money. I was told that I had 14 days to try the product for FREE. I explained to the person that I didn't have the product 14 days. He said the 14 days trial period starts the day I place the order. WOW! LOL!! I didn't see anything in the ad about a subscription nor did I have any ideal about the 14. My suggestion to Liva Derma is #1- clear your ad up; there should be no misunderstanding what you're saying. #2 REALLY? how can you start the 14 day FREE trail the day of the order? Now if you want me to return the full sized items I will, if you pay shipping and handling.

Ordered face serum & face cream advertised on facebook for shipping handling 5.96 and other 4.95 received products 9-21-18 and was charged 9-26 $93.80
On 9-12-18 I saw on facebook what seemed like a good way to try a makeup product called Liva Derma Face Serum for $4.95 shipping and handling. So, I thought it would be worth it to try since advertised so enticing. When I ordered it prompted me to try the cream also for additional $5.96 shipping handling so I thought, ok that's not to bad a price so why not. On 9-14-18, my bank charges came through. On 9-21-18, I finally received my products and both were in one envelope so I thought it odd that it costs $10.91 to ship but then I thought ok I'll try. There was no indication that I had 14 days from date ordered or I would be charged. So, on 9-26 (only 5 days after I received products) I was charged an additional $93.80 on my bank account. I immediately called my bank and cancelled my bank card that I had used to pay for shipping handling. I called Liva Derma (also called Future Flash) at XXX XXX-XXXX & demanded refund. Rep offered to give me $40 refund & then I would have to be recorded to accept refund and of course, I said no can do since I cancelled my bank card and I would not give new card # to them. I then asked for manager and he put me on hold & came back on line after about 1 minute & said he only had 6 minutes for being on call with me & he could not let me hold any longer. He then hung up on me. I called my bank & I am in process of disputing charges which according to my bank will probably be a loss cause. I would like my $93.80 refunded in form of a check to my home address. I am retired & can't afford such deceptive & wrongfully charges, This was underhanded & I should have been warned of the 14 days I had when I placed the order & I was never informed on facebook & not when I finally received the products on 9-21-18. This was a scam and that company knows it.

Desired Outcome

Since I felt compelled to cancel my bank card, I would like the $93.80 charged to my bank account refunded to me in the form of a check sent to my home address to: ***, XXXXX *** Tyler, TX 75708.
