I had a problem with my furnace and it's electronic filter and since I have a contract for HVAC service with ARS I called themThey immediately set up an appointment for one of their climate specialists, Gary [redacted] , to visit my home and to correct the situationGary arrived promptly on the afternoon of the day that I called, He very quickly determined what was causing my problem and efficiently corrected mattersGary was courteous, knowledgeable and he completed his work in a reasonable period of timeHe made sure that I knew what he had done and ensured that the furnace and surrounding area was cleanI would recommend Gary to my friends
I was transfered to this group by ***My home furnace appeared to be making multiple attempts to start and I tried to be proactive, with the subzero temperatures, and talked to *** and they told me to get a clean and tuneup First she(ARS) took my information, then she rudely demanded that I first schedule an inspection for $ignoring the *** discount coupon, and then the tech would give me an estimate for what is neededI asked for the clean /tuneup cost for a carrier year old furnace and she would not give me a replyShe insisted on sending someone out durng the day just for an estimate, saying even if it is working it can need repairs, and had no estimate even for the basic clean and tuneupI told her I was not interestedBut then I got an email so I called back and cancelledThe furnace is still working fortunately, but forcing me to take at least days off - one for an estimate I did not need and another for the work is ridiculous Worse still they did not cancel even after a second call
I have used ARS several times for my furnace and air conditioning annual inspections and have been been very satisfied every time Scott showed up on time, had a very friendly demeanor and went right to workHe even convinced me to take the annual service agreement, which I generally never do with anythingBut it was not a hard sell, it was just his easy going, friendly approach and explaining the benefits of the plan in a way I was finally willing to listen toI have not used this company for any plumbing needs but plan to make them my go to service company for plumbing in addition to the heating in air for the future
Nate was good and he spent a lot of time reviewing/comparing the productsHe offered the best price and the most important thing is that he is a very honest guy!!
