The good (great): Jimmy D came out on time and installed a Nest thermostat. professional, clean, respected my home, did fast and good work, answered all questions and gave good hints and tips. Highly recommend him and One Hour.
The bad: initially I called the 800 number after getting the number/name from the nest Pro Installer website. Before they called me, I called them. the person that I talked to said sure we can have someone out this afternoon, but its $109 for the estimate call. I asked if that would then go against the work, he said no. So I told him to forget about it and I would get someone else. Sounded like a call center clearinghouse.
So I was pleasantly surprised when a dispatcher from One Hour called Monday, said thjat the original info was wrong, it was $99 to install and Jimmy D could come that afternoon.
so bottom line: One Hour was great, the call clearinghouse with the number from the Nest site was terrible.

Constantly good service. Tim did a great job servicing our furnace and humidifier - explained everything in detail as he did his work. Rose was a pleasure to deal with from a customer service standpoint.

We had Jimmy D come out to our house to give our furnace a check up. He was extremely nice to us. He explained everything to us, his concerns and even showed us with a camera what the inside of the furnace looked like. Totally trusted him and his advice. When we need our furnace tuned and cleaned up again, I'll request Jimmy to come out again. Great experience .

The technician who arrived not only solved our problem but discussed every detail and option he was going to pursue - so we knew exactly what he would be doing to eliminate the problem. I will, in the future, ask for this technician again as our choice for servicing our furnace and any related equipment malfunctions. He was courteous, tidy and thorough - just what the consumer should expect in a service person.

on 10/7 had a appt. with one hour as always they show up on time.Don C. was my tech he is always friendly and he knows his profession.As I had a leak in the furnace he took care of it.before he left he made sure that there was no sign of any leaks.I will continue to use one hour for all my heating and A.C. needs

On Saturday April 9th Joe and Ken came to my house to install a new air conditioner and I was very, pleased with the service. They were very professional and neat. I was impressed with the knowledge they provided and the whole buying and installing process. I would recommend One Hour in Elk Grove Village to anyone who is in the market for a new air conditioner or furnace. Their service exceeded my expectations.

Rick was very prompt and professional wearing shoe covers when in the house. He went about his business and provided me what I needed for better comfort. I am always pleased with the service by this company.

They were very helpful. Jason did a good job explaining what needed to be done to repair my unit. Did it in a timely fashion.

the installers from One Hour Heating, Ed A. and Ken V. were very professional when they installed the new furnace and air conditioner. They also took the time to answer all my questions. I am happy with the job and would recommend the company.

I am writing today to compliment Melissa on her excellent phone service, and Jose G on his excellent service as a Heating and A/C Tech at One Hour. I placed an emergency call at 6:30 Monday morning and requested Jose G as I (and a few members of my family) always do. Melissa returned the call and was so polite, friendly and professional and she was a great help on the phone working to arrange to send Jose as the tech I specifically requested. She succeeded and Jose was at my house by 9:00! Jose is so professional, polite and patient. And he is such a knowledgeable tech. I told him the problem, and within 5 minutes he had it diagnosed. No "guessing" it might be this, or "maybe" it could be that. He explained the problem and then started to fix it. He had the furnace fixed quickly and then cleaned up the work area. He took the time to explain the problem and how he fixed it. He also took the time to answer my questions about the problem and the repair, and helped eliminate any worries I had about the furnace. Even in a somewhat of a "small" emergency, I was willing to wait for Jose, and I am glad I did! Great technician!!!

Called One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning because of a problem with my furnace flame not staying on and shuting off suddenly. Within a reasonable time, Jimmy D the tech came by and was very helpful and informative in explaining the problem. He corrected the problem and tuned up the furnace, even changing the filter. I could not have been more satisfied with the service!
