M. I. Hummel Club Reviews (105)

Review: I have been a member of this MI Hummel Club for over twenty years. I ordered a hummel as per the club renewal process. They debited my checking account for:$47.25 on February 2013. They told me that the hummel was going to be late in coming, which has happened before in prior years. I waited and waited. I called them on September 13, 2013 and spoke with a Judy and she assured me that I would be receiving my hummel soon. She would let me know via email. I gave her my email address. To this day I have not heard from them. I tried to call ####-###-#### but was told the # was not a working#. I tried getting online but that was not available either. I am very disappointed in this company. All they had to do was give me my money back, if they could not get the hummel. So they just decided to rip me off. Wow-has this really become the American way?Desired Settlement: I would like to just have my $47.25 back.

Review: The 2012 Club Figurine has never been delivered and the club website and phone number are non-responsive. I would like to inquire about the 2013 Club program and if the club plans to continue operations - We have a preauthorized credit card plan to auto renew 2 club memberships. It appears the club has discontinued operations. We have contacted the club several times in the past year and have been advised the 2012 figurine is back-ordered. I ([redacted]) tried to call today and the clubs offices are closed. The website is not accepting inquiries.Desired Settlement: Our desired outcome would be for the 2 2012 club figurines to be delivered and an explanation of the 2013 and ongoing operating plans of the club. If the club has ceased operations, we would like a refund of the 2012 club memberships (about $100 for the pair) and an assurance that the 2013 club plans were not charged. If additional detail is required, please call [redacted] (spouse) at ###-###-#### as club member [redacted]) is a medical provider and unavailable during business hours.

Review: For over 20 years I have had a club membership for myself and my 2 granddaughters. Three memberships altogether. With these three memberships as a renewal gift I had received a figurine with our memberships. This was the only reason I renewed the membership. I have had no problem until last two year. They have automatically charged to my credit card for the last 2 years, but have failed to deliver the figurines. I have called for 2 years every 2 to 3 months and each time they say it will be here in a couple of months and then they would send to us. But they continued to charge to my credit card for the membership for all three of us without the figurines. Now the phone has been disconnected and I have no recourse to get my money back or the figurines. Our membership numbers are: [redacted] Thank you[redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like to have my membership that I paid for myself and my 2 granddaughters returned to me for the last 2 years.I would also like my credit card charge number to be deleted from their records so they could not charge on the account anymore. Thank you[redacted]

Review: I have been a member of the MIHummel Club for 25 years. I mailed a check for $52.50 on Jan. 3, 2014 for my annual membership. I have received no communication from the club and in attempting to find a phone number to call them, I have found the business is no longer operating and cannot be reached using the 800#. I have not received a refund.Desired Settlement: If the club is indeed no longer in business, I would like my annual membership fee of $52.50 returned to me.

Review: I renewed my membership in July 2013 and was told I would receive my club figurine by October 2013. It is now February 9,2014. I tried, unsuccessfully, to contact the club only to get a phone number that is not in service. I would just like the figurine I was promised.

Review: I have been a Hummel member for over 25 years. I have my dues taken out of my MasterCard in Jan. or Feb., every year. Last year they charged me my due and I have never received my gift for being a member. Every time I called they told me the shipment was delayed but would be arriving soon. I would call every month and get this reply. When I tried calling in Nov. the recording said the office was closed and to leave a message. Well you could not do that because their message box was full. I tried calling today and their number has been disconnected. I want my last year gift and don't want to be charged for this years membership. There is no way to contact them. Their web page has been taking down. I would appreciate your help with this problem or to give me some guidance in what to do. Thank you very much. [redacted]Desired Settlement: I either want my money returned for the year of 2013 subscription of I would like my figurine I was promise for my membership.

Review: I renewed my M.I. Hummel Club membership and sent a check for $52.50 on August 9, 2013. I received a letter from them on September 3, 2013 saying that the figurine "Parlor Pal" is out of stock ... our factory in Germany continues to meet the demand ... Rest assured every renewing member will receive their free thank you gift, "Parlor Pal" as soon as it arrives in the United States." I have been VERY patient, but still have not received the figurine.I tried to call 1[redacted] in late December 2013, but a recorded message said their office hours, but when I called during office hours, it still just had that recording. Now when I called on January 2, 2014 ... it is just a busy signal. I tried to go to their website, www.MIHummelClub.com and that is no longer an active link.Desired Settlement: Unless they can guarantee that I will get my figurine, I want my $52.50 refunded.

Review: My annual club renewal fee is due in December. Last December (2012) the renewal fee was paid but the free Hummel figurine that is supposed to be sent when renewing never was. I called the club (###-###-####) in August (2013) to complain and was told that there were production issues with the figurine but that I would be receiving it by the end of September. As of today I have still not received it. Starting Monday of last week (11/04/13), I have tried calling daily but the greeting says that they are closed and to call back during normal business hours – even though I am trying to call during the described business hours. Also, the club website (http://www.mihummelclub.com/) says “We have temporarily shut down our operations. Check back later.”. Has this business shut down?Desired Settlement: I would like the figurine that I paid for last December (2012) sent to me or my renewal fee refunded.

Review: My credit card was automatically charged for renewal of 2 memberships (mine and my daughter's) and neither one of us has received our figurines for this year. As a long time member of the Club, I have had them do this on an annual basis for the two of us and both of us have always received our figurines although it has been later and later but never this late.Desired Settlement: I would like my credit card credited for the two memberships for the year or the two figurines sent.

Review: I ordered on 11/23/14 the 2015 Hummel wall calendar for $19.99. With tax and shipping, the total came to $27.94; my credit card was charged on 11/25/14. About 2 weeks later, I was called by the company and told that the calendars were all damaged and was offered 2 substitute gifts - a Guiding Angel sun catcher ($12.75 on sale) and a 2015 postcard calendar ($14.99). I agreed that day to the substitute arrangement. After about 10 days, I had not received anything, so I called the company (no toll-free number available) to inquire about my order. I was told that nothing had been sent because I had not agreed to the substitute gifts. I confirmed again that, yes, the substitute gifts were acceptable. So I was told to call back in 2 days for a UPS tracking number. I called 2 days later (not toll-free) and was told that a tracking number was not available. Someone was supposed to return my call that day with the information, but no one called. I called again, was told again that the tracking number was not available, and was told that someone would return my call with the information. The call never came. I finally received the shipping number about a week later only to discover that UPS had left the package at my house about 6 days earlier and hidden it in a place that I did not know to look. Had I known that the package had been sent (tracking number), I would have known to look for the package! The package only contained the sun catcher, and I have NOT received the postcard calendar at all. With the long-distance phone calls, I have paid nearly $35.00 for 1 substitute gift that I could buy on sale for $12.75! I am very disappointed in the lack of customer service and the lack of prompt resolution by the company.Desired Settlement: Either Hummel should send me the agreed-upon postcard calendar that I have yet to receive or refund the difference in the price between what I originally ordered (wall calendar) and what I got in its place (sun catcher). Very poor customer service.

Review: My wife has been a member of the hummel club for years. last year they deducted from our account for the figurine we never received it, after numerous calls over the course of the year we were repeatable told that the piece was on back order now today 5/2/14 we found out the truth the club is closed and we are out $50.00. is there any way we can recover our money or is it just gone.Desired Settlement: either a refund or the piece we ordered.

Review: I have been a M.I. Hummel Club member for many, many years and have paid my membership annually and have not really had any problems. According to their letter (received after I renewed by membership in May 2013), there were production difficulties by the factory in Germany with this year's "thank you gift" and that it will be ready to ship in the Fall 2013. As of this date, April 22,2014, I have not heard from the Club nor have I received this figurine. Several attempts have been made to contact them. The phone calls stated from leave a message, to constantly busy to now not available.Desired Settlement: Want to know if the M. I. Hummel Club is still in existence, if I will be receiving the Club Year 36 Thank You Gift and exactly whats going on.

Review: I paid $ 47.25 for membership in to M.I. Hummel on Feb 4,2013 to continue my membership. Along with mem bership a member figurine was to be shipped. After many calls and always being told prIoduct would arrive in 2 months. I now find they are out of business, and I have never received my membership figurine. Can you help me.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of $47.25 for membership or delivery of membership figurine for 2013.

Review: I have belonged to the M.I. Hummel Club for over 10 years. Every year at renewal time, the club offers a figurine when I renew. On 01/08/13 the club charged my Discover card for $52.50 with my authorization. In return, I was to receive the "Parlor Pal" figurine. As of today, 03/10/14, I have not received it. I have emailed and left numerous voice messages which were never returned. Early on, I received a membership letter saying a shipment was due in 2 - 3 weeks. They also said my Discover card would not be charged until the figurine had shipped. I am very disappointed in the company. I would prefer to receive the figurine but if that is not possible, a full refund to my Discover card of $52.50. I wonder how many other members have been swindled out of renewals of $52.50? Is there any action that the Revdex.com can take to get this company to fulfill their obligations to all members? Any assistance you can provide will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help and have a good day.Desired Settlement: I would prefer to receive the "Parlor Pal" figurine. However, if that is not possible, a full refund to my Discover card for the $52.50 will be necessary.

Review: I have been a member of the Club for many years. Every year we pay a membership fee and are supposed to receive a free hummel. The last time I heard from them was in January of 2013. I received a letter that my membership in the Club has been renewed and I received my club membership card. When my membership was renewed we were supposed to received that year's gift which was Parlor Pal. I was told that Parlor Pal was currently out of stock and that they would send my figurine as soon as possible. They said "rest assured every renewing member will received their FREE thank you gift, Parlor Pal, as soon as it arrives in the United States". As of today I still have not received it. That was one of the reasons I kept renewing my membership was to receive the free Hummel.Desired Settlement: Either send me the free gift or reimburse me for the renewal fee for the year 2013. I would also like to get a telephone number for them so that I can cancel my membership or maybe you can cancel my membership.

Review: I am a member of the M.I. Hummel Club. On Thursday, July 17th, 2013 I sent a check to M.I. Hummel in the amount of $52.50 to them and in turn they were to send me a Hummel Figurine. I would receive it a month later which I still have not received. I have called them six times, unable to speak with anyone as the telephone number has been disconnected. Is there anyway you might be able to help me? I would like to have my $52.50 returned.

Thank you.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive my $ 52.50 returned to me.

Review: On Sep 10, 2012, I issued check #[redacted] for $52.50 for a standard renewal membership and a free renewal gift of a "Parlor Pal" figurine. My membership number is [redacted] and I have been a member since November, 1991. I received my membership renewal but never received the free renewal gift. I have called repeatedly on Feb 4, 2013, June 18, 2013, July 8, 2013, August 5, 2013 and Oct 21, 2013. On Oct 21, I was told that the Germain Company, manufacturer of the figurine, is undergoing financial reorganization and they will let their customers know as soon as the figurines are leased. It has been over a year since I sent my check and still no figurine. I did, however, receive notice that it was time to renew my membership again and receive "Cuddle Bear" figurine as a free gift. When I call, their mail box is full and I cannot speak to anyone.Desired Settlement: To receive "Parlor Pal" figurine or a comparable replacement figurine. I will not renew my membership until I am compensated for the renewal free gift.

Review: I have been a member of the M.I. Hummel Club every consecutive year since 1989. An automatic withdrawal was made from my checking account for $47.25 for club membership on June 5, 2013. I have not received my Hummel figurine as of February 25, 2014. I have recently tried to call and the number appears to be disconnected. I have made numerous calls in the fall and was told they were "reorganizing." This happened last year, but I eventually received my figurine (appx. 6 months later). I was on there email distribution list and received my last email in October.Desired Settlement: I would prefer the figurine but I will take a refund. Thank you for your time!

Review: I have been a Hummel member for over 25 years. I have my dues taken out of credit card every year. Last year they charged me my dues and I never received my gift for being a member. Thank you very much

Review: I have been a member of the MI Hummel Club for 24 years, and in January of 2013 I paid my dues of $50 to receive my annual Hummel figurine "Parlor Boy" but have not received it as of January 2014. I called several times throughout the 2013 year and was told that there was a production issue and the figurine would be shipped shortly. A letter was sent as well regarding this issue to members stating the hummels would be shipped soon. Still nothing has arrived. Very disappointed!!Desired Settlement: Either Refund my 2013 Dues or Delivery of 2013 Hummel Figurine..
