Re:  Revdex.com complaint ID #[redacted]
        Store service
Dear
[redacted]:...

We
are in receipt of your complaint filed with the Revdex.com.  As a liaison in Macy’s Executive Office, I
was asked to review and respond to your inquiry.  Please accept my apology for the level of
service you described receiving and the lack of response to your email
inquiries.  Be assured that is not
indicative of the level of service we strive to provide.  I would have liked to speak with you
personally about this matter, but my attempts to reach you were unsuccessful.
Our goal is to have
professional and courteous sales associates available within every department,
so that all of our customers may have shopping experiences that are both
positive and rewarding.  Although we do
not like to hear that we did not meet your expectations, your comments are
important to us as they provide us an opportunity to follow up with the
appropriate action.  Therefore, I have
shared your complaint with the Store Manager at Macy’s [redacted] store, who assuredly
will address this situation with their store personnel.
I am sorry you were having
difficulty unsubscribing from Macy’s email advertising.  We upgraded our website recently, which may
have contributed to this issue.  If you
are still unable to delete your subscription, please call me and I will
investigate further.
[redacted], thank you for bringing this matter to our attention and
allowing me to respond.  We realize that
you have a choice of where to shop and we regret any situation that may have
damaged our relationship. I hope you
will allow us an opportunity in the near future to renew your faith in Macy’s. If I may be of any additional assistance, feel
free to contact me at the telephone number listed below.
Sincerely,
Michael

October 10, 2016   [redacted]   Re:  Revdex.com Complaint ID #[redacted]         Macy’s store account ending in [redacted]         Dear [redacted]:   I have received your most recent comments regarding the complaint you filed with the Revdex.com. As a representative of Macy’s Executive Office, I was asked to address your additional concerns on behalf of Department Stores National Bank.  I apologize for any inconvenience you may continue to experience regarding your account.   In researching your account, there was a $37.00 late fee on September 26, 2016, and a $2.00 interest charge on September 29, 2016, bringing your balance to $76.05.  As a courtesy, I have removed those fees, bringing your account balance back to $37.05, due by October 26, 2016.  Please note that no additional fees will be removed at this time as payment is due on your account.   In regards to your credit limit increase, regrettably, I must decline your request to restore your $1,100.00 limit.  As stated in my letter mailed to you October 4, 2016, you may call our Credit and Customer Service Department at ###-###-#### to apply for a credit limit increase.  Please allow seven to ten (7-10) business days to receive all U.S. Postal mail correspondence sent to you from our office.   [redacted], although we would like to reply favorably to every customer, it is not always feasible.  Thank you again for bringing your concerns to our attention and giving me the opportunity to respond.  Your business is important to us, as well as appreciated.  Please contact me at the number below if you need assistance on another topic.    Sincerely,     Monique M.    Macy’s account ending in [redacted]

On behalf of Department
Stores National Bank:

Contact Date with Customer:  October 3,
2015

Complaint Summary:  [redacted] reports that she had
concerns regarding a payment made to her account in August 2015, and she is
having trouble getting through to an associate.  She also writes that her limit was increased
without her consent.

Resolution:  My research confirmed that [redacted] had previously
spoken with a credit associate and had her questions answered.  At that time her limit was reduced to the
previous level and the account was coded so it will not increase
automatically.  Her account was also credited
for the late fee of $25.00, which closed her complaint.

I called [redacted],
confirmed the actions noted above, and also removed an additional $19.00 in
late fees as a goodwill gesture for her poor service experience.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. As stated in my original compliant, It took more than a month for the ring to return from being sized after my initial purchase which already put me out of the return window period.  As also stated every time there was an issue with the ring I followed policy and returned it to the store for repair. I do not understand how Macy's deciding to send the ring to an outside jeweler should void my ability to get a refund on a defective product.  All the repair receipts I was issued by Macy's had [redacted] listed at the top. I was not asked which jeweler I wanted to repair the ring, nor was I told it would eliminate the ability to receive appropriate customer service. Yes the ring was purchased in 2011, but has spent most of the time being repaired or in the box unwearable because of the issues listed.  I have also been expressing my unhappiness with the ring to store staff for the last few years, without resolution. For the reasons listed above and in my initial compliant, I feel your response is unreasonable, you are suggesting the same things I was told by the in store sales staff which is to continue this headache and keep having the ring repaired and continue to feel that I was sold a defective item. I do not see how that resolves the issue. I want to return the defective item.
Regards,

Please accept my sincere apology for any inconvenience you may have experienced with the above referenced account and for any difficulty or delay in receiving paperwork for a fraud claim.  As customer service is crucial to the success of our business, it is always a concern when one customer is not satisfied with the level of service we provided.  It appears that we fell short of our goal to provide you excellent customer service and we thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. [redacted]   [redacted]     June 2, 2017     [redacted]   Re:  Revdex.com Complaint ID #[redacted]        Macy’s gift cards   Dear [redacted]:   I am in receipt of your complaint forwarded to us by the Revdex.com.  As a representative of Macy’s Executive Office, I was asked to review and respond to your concerns.  It was a pleasure to communicate with you via email and also speak with you on May 30, 2017, regarding this matter.   As discussed, since the gift cards still had the cardboard backing stuck to them, our Electronic Gift Card Manager determined that you received switch cards. This means the store activated a different gift card than the ones you have in your possession. I appreciate you reaching out to the [redacted] Store Manager and obtaining the original gift card numbers that were activated for you.   We further reviewed this matter, and I am pleased to convey that all of the cards still have funds on them.  Our Gift Card Department issued out new Macy’s gift cards to you and placed security holds on the cards you purchased.  Kindly allow 7-10 business days to receive your new cards, which are being sent under separate cover.  I understand you wanted a $700.00 refund.  Unfortunately, the gift cards are non-refundable; therefore, I must decline this request.   Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention and giving me the opportunity to respond.  If I may be of additional assistance, please call me at the telephone number listed below.   Sincerely,       Regina M. Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.   I am the victim, I am not possession of the information (from 2012) and am not responsible for correcting Macy's mistakes if I were. I am not on their payroll. I have provided, in a responding email, the only information still in my possession. Clearly Macy's does have what they are claiming they do not or they would not have caused the damages that they did on 9/11/16.Also, this reply adds civil abuse to the consumer. Unless this author is a mental therapist and serving in that position he was completely out of line to comment on my motivations for anything. I am not hesitating to do anything. And am ready to move this forward legally if this is not corrected by Macy's immediately. As a mental health professional, legally able to assess, myself, it has taken everything in me to hold to the laws and ethics in dealing with this abuse. If it is not corrected, I will portect myself in a court room....now with a directed civil suite in addition to the consumer rights clsim.
