The customer in this case attempted to cancel the order well past the final rescission date citing the reasons as going into foreclosure and a divorce. On 6/20 the cancellation was attempted however the custom product was already manufactured and being shipped. The customer was informed of this...

at this time. All of the contracts for this project clearly state WHITE and nothing shows BROWN in terms of the color of the windows so this is a completely invalid complaint. We went back out to settle the disagreement with the customer and graciously provided another discount on the project for them so we could move forward in an amicable manner. The customer agreed and we proceeded to set up an installation date. On the day of installation the installer showed up and the customer then asked to see the windows. Upon seeing the windows the customer then announced they were supposed to be Brown and told the installers to leave. The customer then proceeded to go into the home and came back out with a shotgun in hand per the installer along with 2 large dogs in a threatening manner. This complaint is very old and the financing company has already sided with us as the customer was well past the rescission date, the paperwork was correct and we attempted to resolve the issues the best we could. It is a rarity that a customer cancels their project well after the product has been delivered.

Please, once again this complaint has been closed prematurely. If you read the messages Mad City Windows said that they had the information from the their install for the correct window.  When their technician arrived, he did not have any window with him. I have pictures of his vehicle and what was in the the car and in the bed of his truck.MadCity did call and I did advise that I would be out of country for a year, however I stated that they should call me as soon as they have the windows and I will have someone at the house when ever they are ready. Please see the attached email. This is again MadCity not for filling their warranty agreement and useing delay tactics.

Again we have the following facts:1. There was no Bucks promotion going on at the time. 2. No Bucks tickets existed at the time. 3.  Nothing is on contract regarding Bucks Tickets.4. The rep in question denies stating anything about Bucks Tickets and has never had any such instance or similar instance at any time during his employment. 5. Finally we are talking several months later after the sale date in question. If any of the above were not the case this may be different however in this there is nothing to go off that there was any Bucks Tickets as part of the agreement or promotion applied for this project.Regards,Mad City Windows

This was simply an internal accounting error of sending the wrong dollar amount. We will be sending another Restaurant.com card out in the mail to bring the total amount to $100.00

Mad city has returned to the customers home to resolve any concerns or work that was in question. The customer has signed off on our customer completion form that all issues are resolved

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by Mad City in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that their response to be accurate. I nonetheless stand by my initial complaint that the contracted completion date of March 10, 2017 has elapsed, so far, by 191 days, and I am thus far dissatisfied with our experience with Mad City and the Valley Brook window product sold to us.

To Whom It May Concern,This is a completely false claim on the customer's part. Fir st of all the salesperson has no recollection of any promises of Bucks tickets and there is absolutely nothing on the contract or paperwork referencing giving away tickets as part of the deal. Second we had no...

promotions going on at this time involving Bucks Tickets; this project was sold in late May of 2017 and at that time we did not even have Bucks tickets in our possession to give away if even we wanted to! Finally the customer randomly brings this up in late October of this year which is a full 5 months after the contract date itself. This is obviously an underhanded attempt to get something for nothing. If there was a shred of evidence on the paperwork or we had been running that promo in May then it would be a different story but in this case the customer is concocting this for their own benefit.Regards,Mad City Windows

Customer ordered a new French door. Was installed 8/16/17 Customer was upset that the new door did not come with a screen door. The screen door was not on contract so there was not one ordered. I offered her to install a new screen door at Mad City Windows expense to make her happy. She wanted this...

along with a large discount I explained that She could have one or the other but not both as we were giving her free materials. There was a small flaw in her glass which was within industry standards but due to the level of frustration the customer expressed we replaced them at no cost to her. My field manager did make a human mistake and ordered the wrong size screen doors which we have on order and will be installing as soon as they come in.

Mad city has been in contact with this customer over the past couple of weeks. We have ordered a few miscellaneous materials and are tentatively scheduled for the week of July 10th to make the necessary repairs per the customer's request.

Revdex.com:We still are not happy but my mother has just taken a turn for the worst so we aren't going to pursue this matter any further.  We need to concentrate on her health now. When she is better I will contact Mad City.

Mad City has contacted this customer and set a service for a paint touch up. All other services have been completed. The customer has accepted a discount on the project.

Please note that this complaint was closed prematurely. This MadCity has on repeated occasions promised to repair or visit the worksite only not to follow though. Again, MadCity did not repair the damaged windows as per their Revdex.com Response.MadCity arrived at the worksite with the “wrong window” for the repair, though there were no windows in the truck. The installer then took pictures and wrote the work required to be completed on a service order. He said that two windows would have to be reordered and one should have to have the frame reinstalled.  He said that MadCity would get in touch with me when they have the correct windows, a promise which has been given before without resolution. MadCity constantly does not fulfill their warranty requirements, employing stalling tactics at every step. Please reopen this complaint and only close it after they have honored their warranty requirement.Regards[redacted]

We have received the new window and, contacted the homeowner via Email to arrange a date and time to install new materials.

Mad City has contacted this customer and spoken to them about their concerns. We have offered them a different storm door in place of the one they were not satisfied with. Mr. C[redacted] is in the process of talking to his wife about this option. We left a message with the customer today to check the...

status of their decision. We are currently waiting for a response.

Mad City has spoken with the customer to arrange an inspection with our field manager to come to a resolution to the concerns. This is scheduled for Thursday february 16th at 5pm.
