Customer has already been provided proof of enrollmentIt is attached again hereNo refund will be issued as there was a valid enrollment

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: My spouse never signed anythingSomeone knocked at the door, claiming to work from ***, and asking about the billThat's when they got the account number and other info, but my wife did not sign any agreementSecond point is that I never received any letter in the mail saying I am switching utility companyIt is true that something was written on the bill of last month on the Electric Bill Comparison chart a statement that said "cost to purchase electricity from Major Energy" but I did not realize it at first because the amount was about the same that I usually payI just wrote the check and post it backThird point is that [redacted] is not charging 0.208/kwhThey are charging 0.1504/kwh, which is less than your 0.17752/kwhCharging me 0.1004/kwh for the rest of the billing cycle is not fair enough Sincerely, [redacted] In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]

No further action can be taken to resolve this complaint specificallyAs stated before, an investigation was initiated into the practices of the specific representatives

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience the customer experiencedCustomer is correct that the rate of $0.098/kWh was agreed upon and the representative did inform her that the rate would start the next dayThe rate however became effective in the middle of a billing cycleThe representative informed customer that the rate as quoted will not be on the next billThis is because the utility company does not allow us to backdate ratesThe customer saw a rate of $0.1769/kwh because prior to 115, the customer was billed at the then current variable rateStarting on the 115, the customer was billed at the agreed upon rateOn customer's next bill, the customer will be billed at the rate as quotedAs a courtesy, we will be sending customer a refund for $Customer should receive the check in the mail within 2-weeksAgain, we apologize for any inconvenience

We apologize for any inconvenience the customer may have experiencedWe have been experiencing very high call volumeA customer service representative will reach out to the customer to address all concerns

[Your Answer Here]
This is not accurate, reason being your paper states that you have days to cancel the contract, how do I know if I like your service after days? I didnt even have time to recieve my first bill? Your salesman that came to my door and told me information and that there would be NO early termination feeFor all the trouble and inconvenience you have caused me you SHOULD give us a refund! I am HIGHLY unsatisfied with your serviceI will make sure I NEVER reccomend your company to anyoneNOT to mention when you *** search your company Major Energy all that shows up are all the SCAMS and LEGAL issues this company has been involved in, that just prove why this company is not a reliable source. SO, NO I am not going to accept this!!!

We apologize for any inconvenience the customer experienced in his attempts to cancel his service with our companyEarlier today, 12/**/14, Customer's account was set for cancellationCustomer's utility company will set the actual date of cancellationTypically, this will be after the next meter
read dateBased on customer's past readings, the utility company will process the cancellation on or about January ***, If customer would like an exact date, customer should call the utility company later this week and they will be able to provide the exact dateUntil that time, customer will continue to be serviced by our company. No refund is warranted in this circumstanceCustomer was initially enrolled on a fixed rate plan for monthsAs per the terms and conditions, if the customer does not renew the fixed rate plan or cancel the service upon the completion of the final billing cycle, the service automatically defaults into the variable rate planCustomer was billed in accordance with terms and conditions

Customer has already contacted our company to request that that application not be processedWe have already processed customer's request

We apologize for any inconvenience the customer experiencedCustomer was enrolled in a variable rate planIn order to bill the customer, the usage must be submitted by the utility companyIn this case, the utility has not sent any usageAs such, no billing information has been submitted on
customer's accountCustomer is strongly urged to contact the utility company and speak to a supervisor there in order for the issue to be resolved

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the
response made by the business in reference to complaint ID#***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
Two days after the incident in question, I overheard agents from Major Energy visiting with my neighborWhen I asked him what they had said, his description of their conduct and statements largely matched my experienceThis leads me to believe that the conduct in question was not an isolated incident or action of one agent but rather a pattern and practice of misrepresentation by the businessTherefore, I reject Major Energy's response and maintain my complaint.

We apologize for any inconvenience the customer experiencedIn Massachusetts, the spouse of the account holder may switch to a third party supplier on a account in the name of the other spouse1-weeks after the agreement is signed, our company and the local utility company sends letters in the
mail where the customer is advised of a pending switch in electric suppliersAt that time, the customer may call our company to stop the change in servicesNo call was made Therefore, the sales agreement constitutes a valid enrollment. Even if a refund is warranted, none is possible hereCustomer's local utility company would have charged customer a rate of $0.208/kWh for the same service if customer was not enrolled with our servicesThrough our company, customer was charged at a rate of $0.17752/kWhTherefore, with a usage of kWhs, customer experienced a savings of $8.35. As a courtesy, we will lower the customer's rate, effective 2/*/15, to a rate of $.1004/kWhCustomer will be on the then-current variable rate from 1/**/15-2/*/and the new rate mentioned before beginning 2/*/and until the service switches back to the utility companyTherefore, customer will see a blended rate on the next bill

Customer may send the copy of the license to *** *** *** *** *** *** *** ** ***We would be happy to further investigate upon its receipt
