 let's be clear the company's response addresses the verification process, they did not deny that an email was dispatched to their public relations department on or about 10/*/15, addressing the "Illegal" tactics utilized by their representative. The contract in question was nullified by these tactics. The field representative for this company willfully utilized illegal sales practices in order to dupe unknowing customer's to switch services. When this representatives conduct was brought to the attention of his employer  Major Energy Services, the contract in question was voided. As such NO fees should have been rendered.  Upon further investigation this company has a history of utilizing these practices in order to obtain new business, the local supplier [redacted] is well aware of this on going issue with the above company.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:  The organization claims it launched an investigation back in Dec 2015 when I reached out and expressed my dissatisfaction. Major Energy forgot to include that their rates are much higher than that I'd [redacted], and the salespeople will say anything to the customers to close a sale.  I was told that Major Energy is competitive with all energy providers in addition to being coached in how to respond to the third party verification. They never mentioned that in their responses. How I was coached on how to respond, and was told everything would be fine; by the sales man.  I never claimed a bait and switch, and if that is what Major energy and their attorneys extract from my previous grievance that speaks on how they are attempting to make me seem like I'm not being straight forward.  i do not have a motive to invent foolish tales; I'm just speaking the truth. Major Enegy practices unethical behaviors if my neighbors had the means and resources they would all say the same thing.

to perform an internal investigation to confirm customer's allegations. A copy of a government issued ID is necessary as part of the process. To date, it has not been received.

My spouse never signed anything. Someone knocked at the door, claiming to work from [redacted], and asking about the bill. That's when they got the account number and other info, but my wife did not sign any agreement. Second point is that I never received any letter in the mail saying I am switching utility company. It is true that something was written on the bill of last month on the Electric Bill Comparison chart a statement that said "cost to purchase electricity from Major Energy" but I did not realize it at first because the amount was about the same that I usually pay. I just wrote the check and post it back. Third point is that [redacted] is not charging 0.208/kwh. They are charging 0.1504/kwh, which is less than your 0.17752/kwh. Charging me 0.1004/kwh for the rest of the billing cycle is not fair enough.                                                                                                                                                                                                     Sincerely, [redacted].

I opend before complaint and after that they said they will notcharge cancellaion fee and we closed the complaint and then 1 week later they send cancellation bill and I contacted them and they said I have to pay this cancelleation bill

order to clarify the position of Major Energy our business has a valid signed sales agreement which was verified by a third party verification phone call with you which reiterated your rights, responsibilities and the details of the contract which you were entering. After reviewing the contract and the recording of the third party verification, you signed a valid and enforceable sales agreement and agreed to all the terms in the followup verification phone call. In both the contract and the verification call you were expressly informed of your right to cancel without fees for 3 business days after the signing of the agreement. You failed to exercise your legal right to cancel without fee within the given time period under the terms of the contract. Furthermore it is not an advisable tactic to sign legally binding agreements in order to have salesmen stop talking. Rather if you would like for a person whom does not reside in your home to leave, simply tell them to leave and they have the legal duty to do so. Sincerely, Complaint Representative

have our company as the electric supplier, as opposed to the local utility. Customer's bill increased due to increased usage of electricity as reported by the local utility company. Customer's usage increased from 971 kWhs, to 1675, to 2248, and then to 2591. As such, the bill would of course increase. As a courtesy, the customer agreed to a $125 refund to resolve her dispute. As customer was billed in accordance to the terms and conditions, no further refund will be issued.
