Was not happy with the technician. He said every thing was working as when installed. The AC has been running all day trying to hold 75 degrees. I did not have this problem last summer.

Very satisfied with my tuneup visit from Mauzy. Technician, Elgin, very personable and efficient. Explained everything he did and why. Arrived on time and went right to work. Wore PPE for covid safety. Would definitely recommend.

I got A/C tune up, Ryan performed the service. He wore all PPE for Covid safety. He was pleasant and polite. He advised me of maintenance Practices between tuneups. Mauzy installed A/C unit 4 yrs ago. I am pleased with my system; an I am glad I chose them.

Mauzy came to install a new air conditioning unit for us today. The three men who came did a fantastic job. They wore face masks, shoe coverings, as well as covering all our floors. They were efficient, courteous, and definitely hard working! We are thrilled with our new system and look forward to keeping cool this summer. We cannot speak to the unit we had installed yet, but we were very pleased with the customer service we received today!

I am extremely impressed with this company. Great communication, updates. Prompt, knowledgable, polite, clean and they take the time to explain their assessment of project, options and alternatives. I would highly recommend them to others.

MAUZY,
In 75 years this is BY FAR the worst rip off I have been unfortunate to have.
I was initially surprised/shocked when Ehly presented the suggestion for repair of my air conditioner.
Ehly was so personable and helpful I thought he was OK even though the cost was high.
Now that I’ve talked to a few people and realize this is predatory pricing
aimed at the elderly.
I hope this is not your usual practice.
Did Ehly have training on how to cheat the elderly?
At the time I had no idea what the parts were worth.
I have checked the real cost of the parts.
Ehly was here from 0804 to 1012 at $ 200.00 dollars an hour it would be
$400.00.
THE TOTAL PARTS SHOULD HAVE BEEN LESS THAN $ 100.00.
The total bill would have been generous at $ 500.00.
I am very unhappy.
A bill of $ 1,143.00 is VERY EXCESSIVE!
I have not yet decided what I will do about this TEARABLE ripoff.
I will talk to my lawyer and see what he would suggest.
I hope you will reduce this bill to a reasonable amount.

After I sent this letter I talked to Jim, general manager, in a Simi heated conversation.
I effect he said tough st you paid the bill and you can do nothing anything about it about it.!

Great, friendly customer service during an annual A/C tuneup that was installed two years ago which has been working excellent since then.

The Mauzy experience from start to finish was great. Putting in a 5 ton 10 ton and 17.5 ton on the roof of the Community Church of Poway went flawless in just 2&1/2 days and it was incredible. The Mauzy Install team performed like a precision ballet in a timely manner. The pricing was far better than the competition.

I was given a window cleaning card with the approximate value of $50 along with my purchase of a new HVAC system. There was no expiration date on the card. When I called in to claim the service which I was promised I was told by the company that does the window cleaning that they would not honor the card. When I called Mossy they told me that they were going to give me a check for $50. It took 2 weeks to get them to mail the check. They said they mailed the check to the wrong address. Then they said they were going to mail me another one. Then they called me today and told me they weren’t going to mail me a check at all. This whole situation took about three weeks.

The customer received a window cleaning voucher as a thank you gift for his HVAC installation in May 2018. The window cleaning company has since changed ownership and the new owners deemed they are no longer accepting those vouchers. Even though their decision to not honor the coupons has nothing to do with us, in good faith, we mailed the customer a $50 check to the PO box we have on file for him. Customer claims he did not receive the voucher and has harassed and yelled at multiple employees here on multiple occasions. While we try to make it right for all of our customers, we do not tolerate customers harassing and berating our employees. As such, we have decided to terminate any relationship with the customer.

they mailed a check to an address they have in file that they made up. I have only had one address on file with them which is the same address that they did the work at. They named 2 addresses that I have never heard of and had never had. Their administrations incompetence has nothing to do with me or my issues with receiving the check. The first time I called they said they were going to mail the check and it would be there in a couple days. I gave it a week and it never showed up. The next time I called they gave me some long sob story about how THEY screwed up and never mailed it because the person who issues the checks was out all week. You would think that could have been said instead of you will have your check in a couple days. They then promised again that they would mail the check out that day and again I waited a week with no check. I called them back again a week later which was our most recent conversation. I spoke with Kimberley again and asked where the check was, she said hang on and transferred me to a voicemail. I then called back, obviously frustrated, and asked to speak with someone capable of handling this type of situation because clearly after it has take 3 weeks to send a letter locally the person I was dealing with is incompetent. Clearly the ownership of this company can’t deal with truths and facts. For example; my HVAC system was installed in the home that I live in, that they did I the work in, and that they mailed me paperwork in the past. For some reason, they are unable to grasp the fact that that is the one and only address I have ever used. If they did have 3 addresses for me as they have claimed, why would they not ask which address I wanted the check to be mailed to.... incompetence. There was no being rude, there was only a customer calling them out on their horrible business practices. Clearly they owe me $50. Mike M temper tantrum doesn’t relive their company from their debt.

Repair person was very professional and diagnosed the problem that had been an ingoing issue.

Ryan was great. He informed me of the status our heating and AC system.

High pressure sales tactics to install all new heating and air conditioning system using the *** / CA *** program. The financial disclosure at contract initiation was incorrect and only verbally delivered. The interest and finance charges are more than DOUBLE what was conveyed by the on-site salesman - he wanted us to hurry up and sign so he could order all of the components right away to get started (high pressure tactic). Then when they arrived to install the insulation they brought out for the AC and Heating ducting it was a lower R rating grade than previously agreed upon. Our mortgage is a VA loan through *** in Alpine. I m a Navy veteran and my father (who lives with me) is a 100% disabled Navy war veteran. We feel this arrangement violates the VA Mortgage Loan prerequisite terms and conditions and would like to renegotiate the terms. We were told by the salesman the mortgage would increase about $300 per month; but it has increased $700 per month. We received the financial breakdown, after several requests, on 01/21/2020, and so did not know of the full implications of this financial scam (two years and many mortgage payments later (approx. 24).

Attached are a few of the documents you received from *** noting your approval to proceed as well as the payment summary.

The financing terms you discussed with your advisor (15 years, $3,603.24/annual payment) is what was submitted and processed through ***. We are not sure why your monthly payment has increased to $700/month. We have contacted *** on this and a representative from their team will be contacting you directly to discuss all the details and investigate further. We have already provided *** with all the documentation we have on our end reflecting the agreed upon terms and payment schedule. Unfortunately, we will need to defer to *** to get clarification on this.

We do not accept the response. The terms at the time of signature were misrepresented to us by the salesman, we believe.

Hi ***,

We spoke to our representative at ***, they reviewed all the documents that were submitted regarding your financing and everything looks right on their end. The agreed upon price (approximately $300/month) is what reflects in their system. It sounds like this could be an issue related to your property tax bill, not the HVAC project itself. They will be reaching out again to you directly (if not already) to discuss with you further on this matter.

Regarding the ducting, we are going to send a technician out to inspect and verify if the correct ducting was installed. If it was not, we will absolutely come out and redo it, free of charge, as it was an oversight on our part. Someone from our office will be calling you shortly to schedule the appointment.

The increase in monthly mortgage payment does not match what the Mauzy salesperson presented at the signing of the contract. We consider this a misrepresentation and request a renegotiation of the financial elements of the agreement to match the original proposal by Mauzy. We do not consider the repair of a nonfunctional heating and cooling system to be an improvement to the property. Perhaps Mauzy can verify the previous system status of this property - no property tax increase should be created by the mere system replacement in-kind.

A Mauzy technician did a check up on my central heating and air conditioning units today and I am very satisfied. He took many pictures of both my units and explained what he was showing me as usual wear. He did not try to sell me anything. Of course he could not tell me the normal shelf life of my units, but did say, it was not money wise to try to nickle and dime fixing components when they started wearing out. He recommended when they stopped functioning is when I'd need to replace the unit. I was very happy with my technician. He put on paper shoes when he came in the house, was OK with my dog, explained what he was doing and why. Very knowledgeable and I felt he was very thorough in the check up. I'll be calling them when I need new units.

Great company to work with from the person who answered the phone to set up the estimate, to the estimator, and the crew.
The Crew arrived on time to install a new HVAC system, they were very professional and did a great job including testing the system in a timely manner.

Mauzy Heating, Air, and Solar just installed our solar system yesterday. The crew members were very professional, friendly, and quick. It was a pleasure doing business with them.

Very attentive...like the product belonged to them. It’s personal.

Technician was very friendly and knowledgeable. He showed me all the area of concern and was very thorough.

This is for a commercial property. We have been working with Mauzy for several years and are very pleased with their responsiveness to our needs which include maintenance, troubleshooting and HVAC replacement.
