First, please accept my apology for the quotations on the word customer. No sarcasm was intended we appreciate our customers and their repeat business. I should have noticed the quotations after it was typed and I missed it, again, I apologize.Because of the severe shortage of parking downtown it became a necessity to put up the no parking signs.Customers who wanted to eat inside couldn't because there was no parking available due to many people parking and leaving for long periods of time. The restaurant as been there for approximately twenty one years and no parking signs have been up almost the entire time. As it was stated before there are seven signs posted to make sure people see them. Five more than is required. This was done to help make sure people knew if they left the car it could be towed.I believe the problem of your car being towed is with the towing company. You feel the employee of the towing company was rude to you on top of your car being towed. I completely understand. As I explained before we have absolutely no monetary agreement, contract or incentive with this company. They ask permission to look at cars on the parking lot and seek compliance. You mentioned you planned on visiting McDonald's after you visited another business first. I apologize the towing company employee did not know your plans.I sincerely regret your car was towed and the employee of the towing company was rude. I will contact the company and ask them to counsel this person on diplomatic verbal exchanges. Again, I regret your car was towed but we will not be reimbursing you for any part of your charges.Sincerely,[redacted] Owner/Operator

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I will admit that the CSR [redacted] has done her part in trying to figure out why Workman's Compensation kept denying the request.  It was found out (1) that Kenosha Open MRI kept trying to submit the bill long after my account had been closed by OWCP.  (2) after finding out my account was closed Carol Brown my VA OWCP manager made a couple of calls to OWCP and had them open my account and during that time it was found out by the letter that was attached to this that CSR [redacted] kept putting in paperwork with the wrong code for what my MRI was for and that was the reason for OWCP denying it.  OWCP has contacted Ms. [redacted] with not only a number but with a direct contact on how to submit the proper billing with the correct code to ensure that they are WILLING TO PAY once the CORRECT paperwork was submitted.  Ms. [redacted] believes that she has submitted the correct paperwork, but has she now and with the correct code?  If she has why is OWCP stating that nothing has been submitted on their end?  Why is she blaming the OWCP when it has been found out that the reason the bill was denied was due to Kenosha Open MRI's clerical error for NOT submitting the correct medical code?
My concerns are how long do they think that my account through OWCP will remain open so that they can drag their feet on submitting the correct paperwork.  Also, the response that I received through Revdex.com was by Ms. [redacted].  Where is the head of this department and why have they not gotten involved?  Lastly, I will contact my lawyer if I receive another bill in the mail saying that I am delinquent on this bill when it has been clearly shown its been on Kenosha Open MRI.  If this case doesn't get resolved not only will they pay for my bills, but for the mental anguish, and also for court and lawyer costs.  At the end they will be paying a lot more than just an MRI scan.

Revdex.com called business to follow up on this complaint and spoke to[redacted], General Manager, who responded verbally. She said she has called this consumer 4 days in a row but has not heard back from him. She has left the store's phone number as well as her cell phone number for him to call her but...

he has not done so. She would like him to contact her so she can discuss his complaint.

In answer to the complaint …. The unit could not be placed on space RV6 … the site was not ready. We were not informed of this fact until we arrived.   The Park Mgr still had work that needed to be done before the unit could be placed there….the ground was too soft and needed to be compacted.  Also, due to the lack of room we could not logistically place the unit there with our truck..  The 12’0 wide unit had to go between 2 trees that measured under 12’0 wide.  We were told by the Park Mgr to put the unit on space RV1 and he would move the unit.  Or have it moved.  Our bids are always subject to site accessibility.  As far as any damage … the only thing my driver noticed was a trim board on the back corner was knocked off.  My driver is unaware of any other damages.   No damage was noted by the owner at the time of delivery.  Damages could have occurred when the unit was moved to space RV6.  I haven’t seen anything from Ms. [redacted] as to what damage was done nor what repairs had to be made. I don’t feel it’s fair that we are being blamed for something after the fact.

I visited the store with my wife and 4 kids. My kids were dying to play in the play area and we had never been inside this McDonalds, so I treated them on a Sunday to let them play and get some lunch. Worst mistake I had ever made...

Upon walking in, an employee was mopping up a large puddle of water near the drinks by the drain (I assumed someone had spilled a drink, more on that later), and walked up to order food. The guy in front of me was complaining that his daughter's chicken nuggets were hard and cold. I came up next, ordered 4 kid's nugget meals, and food for my wife and I. Kid's came out from the play area after about 5 minutes complaining it was hot and spelled bad (and for kid's to stop playing, that says a lot). I went into the play area and it was uncomfortably warm and smelled like someone had left several dirty diapers to ferment. I told the kids to go wash their hands, but both bathrooms were closed (which is how I figured out later that that water being mopped up may not have been water, but backed up sewer, yuck)! I took the kids back into the play area (plugging our noses) to use hand sanitizer (empty) or grab one of the towels (empty), so how is one supposed to clean their hands before eating (especially after getting whatever was in the play area on their hands)? I asked the cashier, who talked to the manager, who did not even both looking over at me (customer), but instead gave a wave and said something to the cashier. She said we could use the faucets only, which we did (with a worker mopping up overflowed toilet), and black stuff came out of the faucet. At this point I should have asked for a refund and left, but we were minutes from eating a good meal right? Wrong!

The nuggets came out hard and cold just like the last guy's, and none of my kids would eat them (they were literally crying when I told them they had to eat them).

I contacted corporate, who called me and said someone from the store would contact me. That was over a week ago and still no contact... I will never visit this store again (at this point even if they offered me a golden egg I would not go back). Terrible customer service.

Hi [redacted],

Per our earlier phone call, I would like to provide you the customer recovery for complaint Revdex.com #[redacted] last week, Thursday, 30, 2014, regarding our McDonald’s store located at [redacted], Phoenix, AZ.  After receiving case details, I spoke with...

customer that day (1/30/14) at 4:15 p.m., she asked me to call her back the next morning after 8:30 a.m.  I followed up with another call, leaving a voicemail message on 1/31/14 at 9:00 a.m., providing a contact number for follow up at ###-###-####.  This morning, I attempted to reach her and mailed her a McDonald’s customer follow up letter, along with a meal of choice for her next visit.  Feedback and timely follow up is very important for all of McDonald’s Restaurant locations.  Please kindly let me know if any additional information is required.

Thank you in advance for your time.

Review: There was an employee who, in front of two managers and my two children aged 7 and 5, was cursing when she realized that the sweet tea was overflowing. ([redacted]). The two managers that were next to her, instead of correcting her, decided to laugh and did not correct her. Both of my children recognized this word and wanted to know "why the lady was saying bad words at work in front of customers." I would like to know why the management staff thought it was acceptable and appropriate, and furthermore, a laughing matter.

Another employee, a young male, came from behind the food prep area to the cashier area. He saw that there was a very large amount of customers waiting to either order or pickup food. His response, which he said directly to a female manager, was "all these people is [redacted] rded." This is absolutely OUTRAGEOUS, but again, the manager LAUGHED at this!!!

Are you not a kid oriented restaurant?

Do you not have childlike mascots (i.e. Ronald McDonald)?

Are you not an establishment that promotes a family atmosphere?

Are you not an establishment that has created the Ronald McDonald house charities to help young children with illness or disabilities?

How is saying any human is "rded" a good reflection of the values that McDonald's promotes?Desired Settlement: My questions posed above need answers.

A McDonald's representative needs to explain to my children why these employees think that swearing and using the word "rded" is acceptable, and if it is not, this needs explained to my 7 and 5 year old, because I have NO words to do so.

I want a refund in full for the cost of my meal today ($19.57), because after that, none of my family even wanted to be in the same building as these poor excuses for humans.

I also want something further to be done in the form of customer service training or general life skills training for these employees and managers. They clearly do not understand how to be in public, so training about how to exist as a positively contributing member of society would be a great start.

Review: I was getting breakfast before work on 2/18/14. I had heard advertisements about the "Cold Days, Hot Deals" sale that was going on as recently as the prior day. When I arrived at McDonalds, I drove around the building to make sure that the advertising was still up for the same special. It was. At least two signs were prominently displayed on sides of the building, advertising the special. The specifics of the special allowed the customer to purchase one breakfast sandwich at regular price, and get a second at the number of cents equal to the temperature in Milwaukee at noon on the prior day. The temperature on the prior day at noon was around 20 degrees.

I waited in the drive through line. It should be noted that, as I was getting breakfast for my partner and myself before work, I was on a tight schedule. When I reached the drive-up window, I attempted to order the advertised special. The employee would not let me. She said she had been told by management that morning that the special was no longer available. I told her that the special was still advertised and she said she couldn't do anything about it. I proceeded to order value meals that were much more than I had intended on spending, because I wanted breakfast, and I didn't have time to go somewhere else.

When I reached the pay window, I immediately requested the manager. When the manager came to the window she told me that the special had ended at this location the day before. I pointed right at one of the advertisements for the special, and the manager shrugged. She said the deal wasn't in the computer anymore. I told her as a manager she should be able to override the computer. She shrugged again and remained silent.

When I informed her that I believed not honoring the special was illegal bait and switch, she again shrugged. And when I told her I was going to report her to the Revdex.com, she shrugged again.

It is my belief that the practices of McDonalds on that particular morning violated Wis. Stat. § 101.8(1). It is my belief that the utter lack of concern on the part of management in regards to the business's illegal acts was offensive to the contractual process and a poor representation of the type of behavior expected by owners and McDonald's Inc. And, further, it is my belief that the conduct in "shrugging" off complaints about bait and switch violations and dishonest advertising, precipitated this filing.

It is also worth noting that this location repeatedly fails to serve the food ordered. I would estimate my frequent experiences with this business over the last 3 years have yielded an order accuracy of less than 70%. As this complaint is likely to find its way to management, this fact is also worth noting.Desired Settlement: I believe that the minimum remedy is an apology, as I didn't even get that at the drive-through window. What I got at the drive-through window was obnoxious disdain and a toxic lack of concern. I realize I am one of many people to go through that line today. It's not an excuse to show such a clear lack of empathy or consideration. The incident nearly ruined my morning, but I refused to let that happen.

Poor service, rude employees, order always incorrect or short and just got cold food. Owner never takes care of issues. Needs to have new owner or shut them down

Review: I purchased food from this McDonalds. I ordered a Filet of fish meal. The fish was saturated in old burnt oil. It smelled and looked horrible. I took the meal back along with some other food. [redacted] the manager tells me " We don't give refunds" . She said she could give me something else. The fish they sold me would of made me sick. I spent 17.69 and couldn't get the money back for the food I brought back bad food they served me.Desired Settlement: I want my entire bill refunded. I drove gas back to that restaurant to be denied my money on their bad product.

Review: On Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016 I parked at the McDonald's Restaurant located at 3321 St. Charles Avenue. I entered the restaurant and placed an order at 11:10 am. My car was towed from the restaurant parking lot at 11:25 am. This was 15 minutes after placing my order. This seems like an unreasonably short amount of time to have a customer's car towed. I have receipts for both my restaurant purchase and the tow company which verifies both of the aforementioned times. There was no signage in the parking lot limiting the time a vehicle could be parked in the lot. There was a sign inside the restaurant stating that the maximum amount of time a customer could be inside the restaurant consuming food was 30 minutes. I did speak to the restaurant owner, Mr. Chris Bardell, who said there was nothing he could do about the in my opinion wrongfully towing of my vehicle. Mid-City Towing said that they were called to the restaurant by a manager to request that my car be towed.Desired Settlement: The towing fee was $174.00 which I have a receipt for. I would like the restaurant to refund this amount to me.

Review: McDonalds had a special that all large drinks were $1.00 . They have now changed this policy but have not changed the billboards in the Janesville area . When I question them they say the policy has changed . I have talked with an asst . manager , and he said they would be changing the signs at the store . My complaint is that we have a video billboard by our Memorial Bridge that still shows All large Drinks $1.00 I wonder how many people do not even check the receipt and see that the price has changed .Desired Settlement: Remove the video billboards and quit the false advertising !

Response:

I am in receipt of your letter dated 7.16.14 from the Revdex.com of Wisconsin.

First off I would like to apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you, Mr. [redacted] and the thousands of customers we serve in the Janesville area.

Unfortunately we have had to change the pricing of our soda products and now are only offering the 16 oz soda for $1 instead of all sizes. I was as upset as many of our customers with the change.

I would also like to thank you for taking the time to bring to our attention, what may be, a discrepancy in our advertising of the previous promotion we ran in the area.

I have alerted our advertising agency of this issue and they have already begun to remedy the situation.

Again - thank you for the consideration you have taken to alert of this issue. If I can ever be of assistance in the future, please don't hesitate to contact me or anyone at my office.

I would like to inform everyone about this McDonald's restaurant. I went there and was given a counterfeit $10.00 bill among my change. I paid with a $20.00 bill then with the change I went to another store and was told the $10.00 bill was fake!!!! I complained twice on McDonald's website. The first person that contacted me said he would view the surveillance and get back to me. He also said the employees are trained to detect counterfeit money. He also said there was a case similar 18 months ago. I haven't heard from this person since. I complained again through the McDonald's website for the second time and still nothing. So to anyone that goes to this McDonald's restaurant be very careful especially if you pay by cash!!!

Thank you

2[redacted] Phone: [redacted]

I have complained to McDonald's corporate in the past with no success - but after receiving a phone call today from the [redacted] I know it's now time to reach out to you. Yesterday I went through the drive-thru to purchase a 20 piece nugget and a medium diet coke both items were to have monopoly pieces neither did. When I asked the [redacted] at the window she said they ran out - meanwhile there was a cashier at the register peeling pieces off a cup. Today when [redacted] contacted she basically called me a liar telling me that this situation could not have happened I told her to review the tapes. She told me after receiving yesterdays complaint that she went to the store and they had more than plenty of boxes with pieces and that she knows I had to receive them - she also told me I am the only person who has ever complained I find that hard to believe considering oyster bay is a small town and people talk. The [redacted] there yesterday is the same woman who tried to make my daughter buy an item when they were offering free coffee. I known in the big scheme of life these complaints are petty but nonetheless are quite annoying.

Product_Or_Service: 20 piece nugget and medium diet cokeDesired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Other (requires explanation)

I want to make sure that the constant nonsense stops & I don't feel like im being scammed every time I go this establishment. Thank you for your ti me and consideration in dealing with this matter.

Review: On Thursday, August [redacted], 2015 I pulled into the McDonald's parking lot. I proceeded to enter the restaurant and purchase food. At this point several other customers alerted me to the fact that my car was being towed from the parking lot. I immediately confronted the tow truck driver as my car was being taken away. He advised me that McDonald's called in for my car to be removed as I have allegedly ''[redacted]". I have with me both the restaurant receipts as well as the towing company receipts with time stamps to show that I was at the restaurant while my car was being towed from its lot. The local "customer service" manager failed to follow up on this matter, instead choosing to ignore my contact attempts altogether.Desired Settlement: A complete refund of towing charges in the amount of $136.06.
