Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:We purchased this vehicle at the time of MCMC closing so I don’t know if the salesman was rushing but we specifically asked about this insurance we asked the salesman if this insurance would cover us if we got pulled over and he said YES [redacted] had us watch the video while he went to go pick up the vehicle from another location and the video actually froze and stopped so we didn’t even watch the full video this company had been a joke since I got this vehicle I want to be let out of my contract and cut all dealings with MCMC Regards, [redacted]

I attempted to attach the retail installment contract but the website does not appear to allow thatIn the retail installment sales contract on the first page, it states that all parties agree to the terms and conditions of the contracteach individual agreed to maintain insurance on the vehicle.When the vehicle was delivered, we received a binder from GEICO that failed to show Ms [redacted] as a driver, it was overlooked and the vehicle was deliveredWhen our insurance department contacted GEICO regarding this issue, they were informed that Ms [redacted] was not eligible to be listed as an insured driverProviding MCMC with the proper insurance coverage is the responsibility of the customers.I have offered to refund the full initial investment and I also offered to reduce the initial investment to cover the $for CPI if they choose thatThey could also find an alternative outside insurance company that would cover Ms [redacted] as an insured driver.?

I spoke with Ms [redacted] in reference to the phone call she is complaining aboutI also reviewed the content of the call prior to speaking with herIn my opinion, there was definitely opportunity to handle it differentlyWe were not violating any FDCPA rulesI do believe Ms [redacted] took offense to some basic information that was provided to her regarding success in our programI did apologize to Ms [redacted] in reference to the situationAfter continued expression of dissatisfaction, I did offer to refund Ms [redacted] all of her money as a way to satisfy her concernsShe indicated that she would not be able to ever speak to someone in our Customer Service Department again, the offer was simply a way for her to remove her from a situation that she feels will continueI take every complaint we receive seriously and strive to make our department better when it concems to customer interactions

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my dispute MCMC fails to admit that they sold me a lemonThe vehicle was unsafe, the windows would roll up or down when they felt like itThe A/C compresser was cracked and only blew hot air, the shocks went out on the rear door, the car would cut off in drive (in traffic) etcone night that vehicle had my children and I stranded on highway 30, two police officers had to come helpThey put the red flares on the ground so no one came around the corner and hit the car, and they put my children in their cars because they were sweating so badAll of these problems plus more within a 3month time frameI tried to work with MCMC however their unprofessional and rude service caused me to give up on them and complain to the Revdex.comI am unhappy with their response and I am simply asking for my down payment to be refunded to meI am getting statements on the cars condition from the mechanics that came to look at the carI have several more pictures as well as videos, I was unable to upload them all hereTwo different mechanics said the problems were long overdue and there were parts that should have been replaced long agoAs in, before I even purchased the vehicleI would like my down payment refunded to meMCMC did a poor job of "trying to repair" the vehicle and again I was repeatedly told the car would be repo'd when I would speak with customer service, which is why I never paid to get the car towed to themIt seemed like a set up to keep the car because it was actually repo'd less than two weeks laterI hope MCMC will do the right thing and refund me my down paymentThank you Regards, [redacted]

We had arrangements with the customer that were made on 1/and had every intention of keeping those arrangements with Ms***In addition, we provided a deferral in December to assist with the past due issueHowever on 1/23, we received notice of a returned check which changed the level of delinquency on the accountWe attempted to contact the customer via phone number on file We continued to attempt contact with Ms [redacted] for days, at which time we proceeded with repossession due to the lack of contactAs far as me, the [redacted] , declining her arrangement, this is not accuratehad the check return not occurred, her arrangements would have been acceptable to meWe did give Ms [redacted] an opportunity to reinstate the loan but she declined

The arrangement for payment for 4/is the one referred to by Ms***This payment failed to go through, we attempted to contact her via phone, text and emailThe account was not assigned for repossession until 4/24/since we did not receive any return phone calls or emails regarding the situationThe account is now payments past dueWe work very hard to not repossess vehicles, but communication is critical when things happenWe did attempt to make an arrangement with the customer for at least a partial payment of what was past due as of 4/but she was unable to do so, we agreed to a double payment on 4/which failed to be honored by Ms***Since the date of purchase, we have made numerous arrangements with Ms [redacted] when the account fell past due, some were kept, others were notThe account is currently days past due, for a total of $plus repossession and storage charges.? ?

We will be contacting Mr [redacted] regarding changing vehicles as a gesture of goodwill.?

I have reviewed the recorded phone calls we have regarding the contact with our Customer Service DepartmentAt no time did anyone advise her to pay or be repossessedWe made repeated attempts t o contact Ms [redacted] Our records indicate [redacted] attempted contact on at least occasions to get the vehicle brought in for repairThe Roadside Assistance would have brought the vehicle over to usRoadside Assistance needs to be initiated by the customer, they will not move a car at our directionMs [redacted] failed to make even the slightest attempt to get the vehicle brought to usWe assist many people everyday with repair issuesThe accusations being made in her response are unwarranted and untrue.? ?

I had the representative On speaker phone so my sister could hear how rude the lady was for herselfMy sister was actually the one that said "let them repossess the car if that's how they treat customers oh my gosh." Although I have had several rude encounters this one only stood out because my sister had to give me a ride to an important appointment and so I remember the date for that reasonThe lady actually asked me for the address of where the car was and said I'll have it repossessed todayYes, roadside assistance was to be initiated by me and again, I made it very clear that I was not putting out more money into this situationI was told the roadside was free and it wasn'tI was threatened with repossession and after that I made no attempt to bring the car to them, why? So I could pay for a tow just to have my car repossessed? The poor customer service was not convincing me that I was not going to suffer even more of a financial lossI wish I would have documented every date and time that I had problems with MCMC and the car they wrongfully sold meIt's ridiculous the amount of problems I had in less than monthsMatter of fact, I wish I would have read their reviews BEFOREHAND, I would have saved myself from all of this Regards, [redacted]

We have original title that is not reflecting as salvagePulled TxDot records and the vehicle is not reporting as salvage, which if it were reported as total loss would reflect as suchPulled AutoCheck report and there is no indication of issues relating to wreck or frame damage.Our records also indicate the customer is carrying full coverage insurance so I am unclear as to who is not covering the vehicle due to "total loss" and what they are basing that decision on.We have reported credit history to all three credit reporting agencies, last data transfer was on 12/and that was data through end of NovemberDecember data transfer is scheduled for January 15thIf there is something missing on the credit reports, I would ask that a copy of the bureau in question be provided to us for review.We have been in contact with Mr [redacted] and offered to let him out of his contract with no negative reporting on his credit and not owing us any additional moniesWe will not issue a refund of any monies but will release him from future obligations.?

Agreed to waive the fee and turn off checks in the future to avoid the possibility of a NSF mistakeCustomer advised me that she would pay the fee and did not want the check feature turned off.?

The account was transferred to another lender and while there was a delay in the reporting of the information to the credit bureaus, this information has been updated to Experian and is reflected on the Experian Credit BureauEquifax has also been updated and that information should be reflected as of this weekThe information reported will reflect all payments made as Ms [redacted] requestedThe TransUnion reporting has not been updated and it will take some time for [redacted] to go through the process of getting the proper membership information required of TransUnion to participate in reporting to them [redacted] is working on that.I have been in contact with Ms [redacted] and requested that she allow me to pull a credit report to show here where it is in fact being reported but she will not authorize me to do soI requested that she provide me with the documentation she has so that I may contact Experian and Equifax on her behalfI am waiting on the information nowAs for the payments, the payments are being applied to her account and we can provide her with the ledger that shows her payments are being madehowever, the account is currently days past due and no payment has been received since 5/1/I understand her frustration, but if there is an issue I will have it resolved, but withholding payment while we research this is not acceptable and this was communicated to Ms***

Floor mats are an aeven at new car storesIf you look, they charge you in addition to the sale price for those matsWe did offer a brand new after-market set of floormats which were rejectedIf and when we get a similar vehicle in that has floormats, we will certainly turn them over to Mr [redacted] However, please note these mats will be coming out of a used vehicleMany times, we throw these mats about because they are worn.Floormats are not considered "missing parts" on nay vehicle and are not a covered component under the warranty

At no time were multiple payments the issue with the disputeWe do have alternatives to debit card and credit card paymentsWe offer a "Pay Near Me" option that would allow the customer to make the paymentWe reserve the right to accept or not accept any payment method and in this case we are choosing to not allow payment methods that can be disputed for no valid reasonHad there been multiple payments taken and we were given the opportunity to address, we would have gladly reversed the errorAgain,t his was not the caseWe are not accepting online payments any longer

The plates were located at our store in Weatherford and are being transported back to the Arlington location so they can be placed on the vehicleMistakes happen sometimes and we certainly apologize that there was an issue with the tagsWe notify people as soon as the tags are in so if there is an issue, we aren't in a situation like we were on Saturday.As for the battery, we were notified on 8/16/that there was an issue with the vehicle startingTony offered to sell a replacement battery to the customer at cost, but the customer declined that offerWe do not provide any type of warranty on items like batteries, at the time of delivery the battery was checked and working properlyThe issue did not present itself until days after the saleIt is unfortunate that this occurred, and as a gesture of goodwill, I am providing a credit of $off the payoff on the vehicle.When the loan is paid down to a $balance, I will waive the remaining balance.?
