opportunity to respondUpon receiving notification of Ms***'s complaint, MRS conducted an investigation with regard to this matterThe investigation has found the following: Our office has attempted to contact this consumer at ***, over times, since 2/24/2016, which was the number provided by our client as a valid contact numberThere were several communications on that line with an unidentified female, who would hang up any time our agents requested to speak with the consumerAn initial demand notice was mailed to *** *** *** *** ** ***, on 02/26/Our office did not receive any mail return on this item to dateAccording to the FDCPA if the attempt is made to send a validation letter to the consumer in which it does not receive any return mail, it is not required to duplicate the letter unless verbal contact is made, at which point it is then required to be sent within days on initial contactOur first verified communication with this consumer was on 6/21/at which time she expressed she wasn't aware of this account, but refused to provide contact information for documentation or emails to be sent to herOur internal policy is to honor verbal & written validation requests any time a consumer is expressing such a claimWith that said, we have marked this account DISPUTE as of 06/21/2016, and will issue a request to our client to provide the required validation documentsThose documents will be mailed to the newly provided physical address.
