Our records show we sent a notice and left several voice mail messages for the consumer after the 7/20/15 credit card transaction was declined. The consumer contacted our...

office today and set up a payment plan arrangement of $30.00/month. The consumer states in her complaint that she wants this removed from her credit once it is paid in full. I have notated her account accordingly and will have the adverse reporting deleted once the balance is paid.

MMRG did not receive a dispute from the patient nor did we receive a request for an itemized bill. Our first...

contact with the consumer was on 4/7/14 when she called our office and paid her balance in full via credit card. The account balance is now $0 and we have submitted a deletion request to TransUnion to have this tradeline removed from her credit report. We also sent the consumer a letter on 4/7/14 stating her account is paid in full and the credit reporting will be deleted.

MiraMed spoke with the consumer only once on 12/8/14. At that time our account rep explained the charges were for ER...

physician services provided at [redacted] ER by Dr. [redacted] Later on 10/13/13. The consumer did not inform MM that she never received services on this date nor did she claim the charges were fraudulent. In fact, she set up a payment plan arrangement to pay $30/month.
Per the consumer's request, we have closed the account in our office.

On 4/10/14, our client, Life Watch Services, requested we close and return the account to them. MMRG has marked this account...

as cancelled per client request. We have not reported this account to any credit reporting agency.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2014/04/11) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I spoke with representative at Lifewatch finally thanks to my insurance company (HealthLink) sending me a number for LifeWatch. Healthlink in the letter stated they had never received the bill from LifeWatch. In my phone call to LifeWatch they stated they would request to have it billed now and remove it from collections. I am doubtful that my insurance will pay on this account since it is from 2012, however, the rep from LifeWatch said they would. He said they had dropped the ball on this one. I dont want to get sent to collection for their failure to bill my insurance timely, or send me bills.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2014/04/17) */
As stated in my previous response, the account is closed with MMRG and we did not report it to any credit reporting agency.

The bills are for services provided by [redacted]. The consumer contacted our office on 11/17/14 and paid the...

outstanding balance due in full. The accounts are now closed in our office and MiraMed will not be contacting the consumer again in regard to these bills.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:  As I previously stated I have lost any and all trust in MiraMed.  Due to the inconsistencies in the statements provided by the previous representatives I cannot  trust that this account would be deleted as promised by the previous response.  It appears to merely be an attempt to take my money.  I can only hope that in the future the MiraMed organization will focus more on providing consistent and accurate statements to the clients and work to improve representative knowledge of their practices.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The bill should have been posted 2 months ago and if Miramed would have listened and allowed me to talk to them instead of being rude and condescending, the matter would have not have gone this far. Staff at Miramed are very unprofessional!!!

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/08/27) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
On August 26, 2015, I received a "Notice of Amount Due" from MiraMed Revenue Group for $25.00. The statement is dated August 14, 2015 and refers to reference #XXXXXXXX. Again, I do not owe any amount to MiraMed Revenue Group. I am not sure why I received this notice. The only letter or notice I should receive is showing I do not owe anything to MiraMed Revenue Group.

The consumer paid $25.00 to our client on 7/24/15, but we were never notified of this payment. When we received the consumer's Revdex.com complaint, we contacted our client, confirmed the payment and updated our records accordingly. The letter the consumer received from us dated 8/14/15 was sent prior to us receiving notification of the payment. I apologize for any confusion and confirm again that the account is closed in our office.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

MiraMed doesn't do "pay for deletion" and our account reps aren't authorized to offer this. The rep who spoke with the...

consumer yesterday advised her that we would update her credit report to show the account is now paid in full. Per the rep, the consumer was fine with this resolution.
I am authorized to delete adverse reporting when accounts are paid in full and will do so on a case-by-case basis. I will delete the adverse reporting for this account as a courtesy to the consumer.

MiraMed called the consumer in regard to a medical debt. Due to HIPAA privacy laws, we are unable to discuss an account with...

a caller until we've verified we are speaking with the responsible party. That is why we asked the consumer to verify her zip code. When we called the consumer on 9/12/14, she refused to provide the information requested to confirm we were speaking with the correct party and that is why we did not divulge any account information.
I apologize for the inconvenience and confusion this has caused the consumer. However, as a recent victim of fraud, I hope the consumer understands MiraMed's caution when speaking with callers as we make every effort to ensure compliance with HIPAA in order to protect the consumer's privacy.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2014/09/15) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The responder on this complaint is [redacted] who is clearly a woman. The person who called my phone was a man.
Also, the company called me and asked me to verify who I am without giving me one piece of information on who they are. HIPPA or not, if a company can not identify themselves when calling a person, then do not call. If I have to call the company and want to speak to someone, then it would be right for me to identify myself. If I were to call and request information without verifying myself first, I can guarantee that NO information would be given. I am requesting that this company do not contact me in anyway or else I will have to file harassment charges.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2014/09/19) */

MiraMed has two accounts for this consumer for emergency room physician services provided at [redacted] Hospital on 3/17/13...

and 9/22/13.
The consumer called our office on 3/9/15 and advised our account rep that these bills were covered under f/a. We have placed both accounts on hold while we contact our client to verify the correct balance due.

The bill is for medical services provided by St. [redacted] Regional Health for dates of service 5/4/11 to 5/7/11. I am mailing the itemized bill to the consumer today as proof of amount due. The consumer is welcome to contact our office if she has any questions after reviewing the documentation. I...

will also remove MiraMed's adverse reporting as a courtesy to the consumer.
