This company took my number and gave it to everyone on the planet! There is NO WAY to unsubscribe and I am getting called hourly from various contractors!! I already have the contractor I need and just want them to stop calling me.

I wish I could give negative stars.
The sales man Sch ***, sold me a $2,000 package.
He advised me it would be for around 40 Roofing leads and a set budget of $2,000. So it’s used to for the budget and when it used you need to add more funds.
I purchased the package, 19 leads later they charged me an additional $2,000
When you call customer service they talk over you, and express that they apologize but can’t help you.
This an out of country call service, I believe in the Philippines. They were very quick to take my hard earned money and also very quick to not help me. The appointments they sent me were complete garbage. I would not want to go on them for free.
$0 in sales, 19 leads, $4,000 HARD EARNED Money thrown away.
Stay away they are a scam

Hi Claudio, there seems to be some confusion with your program. You had signed up for our Regional Subscription program, which is similar to all subscriptions in that it auto-renews. On every sales call, we do mention the different types of programs we offer and you decided to move forward with the auto-renew subscription program.

To signup for this program the contractor decides the central zip code and the mile radius that makes up your territory, which can be adjusted at anytime of your active subscription by giving the customer care team notice.

Within your first 30 days Modernize sent you over 50 appointment requests, of which you only claimed 19..

As stated on sign-up, you would need to request a cancellation 2 business days prior to your monthly renewal. Your account is now scheduled to deactivate 2 days prior your next renewal date.

Our records do show that your calls are being answered, as your last conversation with a customer care rep was on 5/29.

If you are interested in revising your territory for the remainder of your current month, please reach out to the customer care team at 888-624-7892 or [email protected]. We do ask that you refrain from using profanity when making account requests.

That is not correct. You failed to mention that in those 50 leads, there were leads that we’re out of state. I have all the emails that your company sent me I did not receive 50 leads at all. The number is closer to 30.

Out of 19 appointments I should have closed at least one.

It’s ok, you did your job you provided appointments. Unfortunately, they did not result into anything.

I am 110% ok with losing the initial $2,000

When I spoke to my sales rep (the person that took my payment) he clearly stated that it is NON Contractual agreement. I can cancel at any time and only pay for what I used meaning I accept X amount of leads I will receive a prorated refund of what my balance didn’t touch.

When Your company charged my account another $2,000 I immediately called to get a refund.

I knew that the service wasn’t for me and accepted the initial loss of the first $2,000

Your customer service completely contradicted what your sales man said.

They were very rude to me and literally told me “DO WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO”

T e s s spoke over me and literally didn’t listen to my concerns.

She was very quick to speak and not listen.

I felt completely ripped off and disrespected.

I would NEVER use your service again. Your company has provided me with ZERO documentation showing that I have ZERO cancellation and I can’t receive my money back. Even though I didn’t use any of that money towards the appointments.

I asked for these terms and conditions to be supplied to me, they literally hung up on me multiple times.

You have customer service that is extremely rude and in all honesty they show zero empathy.

Just refund me for what I spend and didn’t use. It’s the right thing to do.

Keep my first $2,000.

It didn’t work for me. That’s ok.

It’s not ok to take another $2,000 and provide me with nothing in return. I will not accept any appointments you send me. I will accept a refund.

I signed up with this company for small leads package .
the leads sent thru email for booked appointments from homeowners is bogus they give you 3 times to set the appointment based of the homeowners day they set for the appointment not one of the 30 leads sent confirmed for the time and day they set for the appointment
I then called and asked that my card be removed and no longer receive leads from them expecting they canceled my card to my surprise they did not I was charged another months for leads that was not good leads and sent leads that I refuse to even open due to not wanting to being charged for accepting those leads I spoke to them the day after my card was charged and re-interated my concern for charging me another $495 for the month and asked that my card be refunded since I requested their service stop the month before. a request was submitted on a friday and I was told that I would be called back on monday once the review was complete well it was wednesday when I decided to call them and they informed the request has not been fully processed and we are still waiting for approval
AT WHAT POINT WHEN A COMPANY TELLS YOU NO OBLIGATION OR COMMITMENT WILL BE ENDURED BY DOING BUSINESS WITH A COMPANY DOES THIS NOT APPLY IO ASKED TO REMOVE MY CARD AND NOT BE CHARGED AND THEY DID NOT FOLLOW THRU BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE EMPTY PROMISES AND FALSE ADVERTISING OF WHAT SERVICES ARE TO BE RENDERED TO A BUSINESS OWNER
BE WARE WHOM YOU ARE DOING BUSINESS WITH AS THIS IS NOT A GOOD REPUTABLE COMPANY FROM MY EXPERIENCE.

Hi Girard, It's unfortunate that out of the 4 months active with Modernize and 68 appointment requests sent, that you were not able to find success out of the 37 appointments claimed.

We do apologize for your account being charged after you had already requested to cancel. Our scheduler did not perform properly and we have issued a refund to your card within 7 business days.

I ordered leads through this company for solar. I was told I would have leads in 48 hours or sooner. After one week and not receiving any leads I asked for a refund. I was told it was possible that others were getting the leads before me. As I had not been provided leads at all I was not given the opportunity to call them. Not sure how anyone else gets them before me. I paid $495.00 for 10 leads.

I find this to be fraudulent. They offer a service and per their representatives leads will begin within 2 days. They at the time of failing to provide this broke their contractual agreement. I am also filing a complaint of fraud with FINRA and FTC.

Due to volume being based on the homeowner demand in your area, we are unable to predict how soon your appointment requests will start coming through from when you activate. We typically do not offer refunds until you've completed your full month so that we allow time for you to receive appointment requests. That being said, you initially reached out on Saturday the 13th and we were able to find a technical issue with your account on Tuesday the 16th. Your sales rep attempted to reach out that day to relay the information of that technical issue and to determine how you'd like to proceed- restarting your month at no cost, or if you'd like to proceed with a refund. Please reach out to your Sales Rep directly and we'd be happy to work with you.

have worked with several lead generation with very low turnover odds, at what I felt was a high cost per lead. I was very reluctant to join up with Modernize, I acutally said no then Jason L. Asked me one question that grabbed me. I will keep his question a secret lol ...
I decided to give them a chance I went with a option I spent 2k with and with in 1 month I turned that 2k into 127000 for the month. It didnt stop there, sure there are some hiccups along the way a couple leads no good here and there but Modernize support works hard to credit you and keep it moving. I am so impressed with this service they are my #1 go too. If anyone is on the fence about this company, do yourself a favor and take the plunge. If you put the effort into this company it pays out x10.

I signed up to get a quote for siding from a company called modernize.com. After getting through the questionnaire they called me three times in a row while I was in a meeting. I left the meeting thinking it was an emergency and called the number back it was Modernize. I told them that I was in a meeting and I left because I thought this was an emergency and I had to go. UGH. They have texted me over and over again since then. I asked to be removed, they responded saying they would remove me from SMS messaging, and they continued to text me. I called the company to complain. They said they would make a note and they said something rude to someone about me in the background and then they hung up. They continued texting me. I tried to call back again to talk to a manager and the number isn't working anymore. It looks like they blocked ME from calling them. And...I AM STILL GETTING TEXTS!!!! So I can not get through to the company to tell them that the texts are still coming through.

the phone number that came through my caller ID when they called me was ***. The phone number I was texted from was ***. The phone number they provided in the text messages to call because they "can't respond to text messages" is ***. Also, the *** number and the *** number are both not working now when I try to call to talk to a manager to stop the continued text messages.

please will someone from Revdex.com investigate this company!? These reviews are spot on with my experience. I believe the 5 star reviews to be forced reviews from their own employees because there is no way a real company could say anything positive about this total scam of a company. I have asked nicely and tried to take the high road here but after completely blocking my calls I must turn to the truth here. I am pursuing all possible actions against modernize at this time.

A complete SCAM. Buyers Beware.

The program that your company signed up with is a monthly subscription that you can cancel at anytime. It does look like your company decided to close out the partnership after only 10 days and in that time you claimed 7 opportunities. Modernize is partnered with hundreds of regional roofing contractors, all who are hungry to grow and understand the work and time that is required when working with a quality lead source. Although, your experience did not match your expectations, Modernize has been in business for 15 years and is well equipped to grow your business if you wish to reconnect in the future.

Salesman told me everything was verified prior to setting appts. $600 non refundable for leads over 70 miles away that we're completely unverified. Over a week and my business has no account rep no active profile and nobody to help me. Had a friend enter their data on modernize and it was sold to another company "Networx". Who sold it to 3 other companies. Having to dispute charges as no service was provided and no back office to handle accounts.

Crazy that it takes a Revdex.com review to reach someone at this company! Maybe the sales team should understand the difference in a verified homeowner and a verified IP address. Also the difference between a call center and account manager. Have yet to receive a call back on this matter. As for the 3 leads they were all out of area and one was a guy that rents an apartment...

We had the worst experience with this company!! Do not do business with them!
We had been contacted by one of their sales reps to get our HVAC company more leads. We were interested in using them but read some negative reviews so we decided to give them a shot under their refund plan. According to this plan, we could request a refund for any leads out of our area, disconnect numbers, incorrect trades etc. Although, we had to pay more money per lead up front.
We were promised to receive around 60-80 leads per month, due to our service area not being as broad as most other HVAC companies. We never got any more than 26 leads in a month.

Within the first two weeks we received 16 leads, 13 of those were OUTSIDE OUR SERVICE AREA! After several weeks of waiting and a couple of long rude conversations with Terri, she finally got us a credit to our account for those.

Then we started getting the worst quality leads. From people that told us they never submitted a request, to people that live in nursing homes that didn't understand what they were giving their info for. And of course all of our refund requests for these leads were declined. So we decided to just cancel our membership with them.
After another big fight with Terri and waiting a few more days they finally said our account would be cancelled within five days. After cancelling WE GOT 7 MORE LEADS OUT OF OUR AREA. and of course can't get a refund for those either.
Now neither Terri or the company will respond to any of our emails or calls. They are a scam just looking to take your money and give you bad quality leads!

Hi There! It's unfortunate to hear that you had such a negative experience and that it mostly revolved around territory issues. When reviewing volume on the sales demo, you have the options of either choosing a mile radius around one specific zip code, or sending over a list of zip codes that your company chooses to work in. That being said, our system will not allow leads to be sent to our contractors if they do not match directly with the zip codes the contractor has chosen. Your territory can be updated at any point in time, given the contractor provides an updated zip code list.

Flatiron Media is a NY based customer acquisition and media company. We are writing to inform you that your business may be inadvertently participating in unlawful activity.
We have attached an email advertisement that purports to have been sent on your behalf. We have reason to believe that similar emails have been sent to many consumers. The attached email states that recipients may opt out of further emails by writing to “***, ***, ***,” which is Flatiron Media’s address. However, Flatiron Media did not send this message, Flatiron Media is not associated with this campaign in any way, and Flatiron Media did not authorize the sender to use Flatiron’s address. Based on the link you provided we've been able to identify the network through which this mailer was sending. We're immediately blacklisting this mailer from sending to any of our offers,along with informing them of the illegal use of the physical address that their mailer is using. Again, this was not Modernize sending the emails, it was an email publisher sending through a network, and we reached out as soon as possible.

The network through which this mailer was sending has responded with "Our compliance team caught the issue on last Wednesday and terminated the publisher at that time." We have been able to blacklist this mailer. There is also a cease and desist agreement in place.

I was contacted numerous times by *** about setting up a subscription to buy Roof and Window Remodeling leads. After about 3 months of her trying to sign our company up I said I would give it a one month shot! After 2 days of horrible repair not replacement roof leads I called to speak to my account rep and was told I dont have one for this system and that they would need to escalate the issue to upper management and would receive a call back from a supervisor. Its been a week of me calling everyday to speak to a manager, I have emailed them as well, all which have gone unanswered. The same two people answer the support phone number from another country and keep saying ill notify management to call you. Well im tired of waiting so today I disputed my money. Lets see now if they will contact me back!

Stay away!!!!! Jason L will lie to you about the contract. They will send you fake appointments. Also, try to lock you into a four month contract. Stay away. Waste of time and money!!!!!

This company shares your personal information. I have already received 2 dozen calls in the last 24 hours and I'm trying to make it stop, to no avail. Consumers should be told about this or at least asked if they want to be subjected to this.

I toggled back and forth of using this company for about two weeks. Finally just took the chance to try it out, and it’s very nice. Not all the leads are solid or even answer their phone. But I’ve sold two in the 3 weeks I’ve been using the company so it’s made it’s money back x7. There were reviews about not being able to contact them or not getting ahold of them, but I’ve been working with Alex and Marqus and they call me weekly to check on how things are going, and they answer the phone whenever I call.

Great partner. Our account representative works with us to ensure that we are successful and meeting our goals. Highly recommend working with!

We enjoy our partnership with Modernize. Great communication from their team; our representative is wonderful to work with!

Modernize has been a study source of leads for us for months now. They've been quick to respond to every request, and are always ready to step in and help out if needed. Great partners!

Modernize does not provide the services that they advertise. We signed up with them but found them to be deceitful and extremely unprofessional. When we requested our money back, they refused. Beware of this company.

Perhaps Mr. H meant this review for a company other than Modernize. In the one month that we partnered, Mr. H business received 28 transfers of home owners who were on the phone and ready to schedule and appointment for his services and actively claimed (an action he must take) 19 direct appointments. It is hard to imagine what else Modernize could have to ensure his success.

I ordered appointments at $2,000 a month begining early September. I was not recieving appointments as advertised and my date of start kept being moved back to sept 11th. On the 12th I emailed them, as I had been in contact with them through email, and informed them to cancel my subscription. On october 10th I was charged $2,000 for october 11th-nov 11th. I informed them to cancel immediately. Ive emailed them back amd forth and they are trying to strong arm me. Threatening to charge me more even though I have stopped the appointments and have not recieved any simce october 9th. They want me to sign paperwork to cancel immediately where I lose the $2000 they just stole so they dont charge me nov 11th. I have all emails showing I cancelled a month ago.

The customer spoke with someone on the phone after submitting an email request to cancel in early September. In that conversation, he decided to continue the subscription. It is a subscription product that renews each month. Our Cancellation Terms which are linked on the checkout page clearly state:

"You may cancel this subscription at any time with 2 business days notice by emailing [email protected]. Your email must include (a) your business name, (b) the phone number at which you've

chosen to receive calls, and (c) your stated desire to cancel the service. You will not be refunded for a partial month's subscription."

I am rejecting this response because:i notified them well in advance on an email chain that I was communicating with *** on that I wanted to cancel. As you can see it was 19 to 20 days in advance. I have the emails of our conversation prior to me canceling and after as well to show it was sent to someone that at that time couldve cancelled me out. They chose to ignore my request and are threatening me to sign again to avoid another charge. Ive asked repeatedly to speak with director or management in reference to my issues and he/she refuses to call me back and has had to y and *** tell me they are now out of town and cant call me. It is a strong arm tatic that us unprofessional and not to mention the threats to charge me more if I do not agree that I am cancelling now so I lose the $2,000 they stole from me.
