I work for an HVAC company in CA and we wanted to give modernize a try for leads. They speak highly of their qualification process and in the front seem very detailed.. Unfortunately, lead quality was not what they said and seems like they are falsely entering peoples information because 27 out of 28 leads in one week were crap, wrong names, or wrong numbers or people who state they are not shopping around and never filled anything out on the internet. You will never receive a credit for a lead that was not qualified. So your money is just wasted. They say they account for a specific percentage to be crappy leads... IF YOU KNOW THAT, FIX IT, DON'T CHARGE YOUR CUSTOMER FOR IT! Customer service is hard to get a hold of and they do not call you back or respond to emails in a timely manner. When it comes to handling your money or business needs, I would not trust them. It's pretty scammy. I have no idea how they are rated A+ on Revdex.com when they have not one positive statement! Wish I would've read all the reviews here before wasting $1,000.

They harass me with numerous phone calls, probably in the hundreds by now. I’ve ask politely and I’ve cussed them out. They keep calling. They’re just some company playing the middle man trying to get homeowners to commit to buying siding ,windows, or anything else

I received an email from someone representing themselves as a local handyman named "" when I responded to the email, my information was added to a call list and I received 11 calls within a 1.5 hour period (starting at 7:50AM) the next day from multiple roofing contractors. Their advertising practices are deceptive and, as a member of the national "do not call" list, I do not appreciate the unsolicited phone calls and I can not make them stop. They gave my contact info to a company called "porch" who is now sharing that data will all their affiliates. I tried calling Modernize, but every available phone option leads to a voice mail. I tried the option to add my number to their do not call list, but again, it was a voicemail line and the mailbox was full. Now I'm being spammed by calls for a roof I do not want. I will be contacting my attorney today.
