Hello,I'm unsure where the miscommunication is and I apologize for any inconvenience, but the client was indeed refunded $on Visa ending [redacted] dated Feb22, 2016, as seen on the attached proofIn no way is our company dishonest

Hi Ms [redacted] , I apologize for the number of unwanted calls you have receivedIt can take up to hours to have you removed from our call list but I have ensured that you are now on our Do Not Call list and you will not receive any additional calls

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:? It appears that an telemarketer illegally contacted me on my cell phoneI gave them my phone number so that I could find out who was behind the call so I could report it to the FCCFrom what I understand that telemarketer must have gone online and submitted my information to ModernizeIn return Modernize compensated that telemarketer for the online lead via an affiliate agreementModernize must have some sort of contractual relationship with the telemarketer and therefore this complain against them is valid? If Modernize agrees to investigate this further and informs me and the FCC of the offending company then I will consider this situation satisfactory resolved Regards, [redacted] ?

Hello,We apologize for the inconvenienceWe have taken your contact information and have placed you on our Do Not Call and Do Not Email List permanentlyAdditionally, we have contacted our partners and contractors to have your contact information permanently removed from their listsYou will no longer be on any affiliated Modernize marketing and sales listThank you, The Modernize Team

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:We were NEVER made aware that our conversations were recorded first and foremost!Regardless, of that fact we have NOTHING to hide - they have never made us aware that our conversations were on a recorded line! We are a very flexible company and tried every suggestion their company suggestion to make this relationship successful. After receiving over leads and speaking to as many as we could get in contact with - we have gotten hung up on, told that they have never put their name in any website, were never interested in solar, some did not even know what solar was and a few of the leads have "passed" away Our company spend over $5,on leads that were promised to be verified leads from a company that were supposed to deliver leads from customers who were interested in solar that inputted their names into a website within minutes we would receive theseClearly that is NOT the case.We expect a refund ASAP! Regards, [redacted]

Mr [redacted] ,I am very sorry that you are being spammedWe are not sending the spam as it is coming through an affiliate using our name, which is why it does not link to out pagesIf you could forward me one of the emails ([email protected]), I will add your email address to a suppression list and track down where it is coming from to stop it from happening.Thank you, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: most of the information given by Modernize is false Please allow me to respond to each point:"Our leads are effectively an advertising channel for clients As with a billboard, radio, or direct mail, most units of the product, be they views, listens, or leads, will not result in a sale and we set this expectation upfront The difference is that people tend to measure lead services one lead at a time, rather than in the aggregate performance as you do with the above mentioned channels like radio If you sent a postcard at a time, or played a commercial for a single consumer, you'd never use that medium again and would focus on the people who didn't open the card or listen to your ad."This is a not accurate When advertising and marketing the brand and name of the company can be seen by potential clients With Modernize, they are not providing potential leads/customers with our name, brand, or what we offer Modernize is collects leads by advertising themselves, not the companies that get the leads This isn't valid at all."Now then, based on historical results from our clients we know that when results are measured in the aggregate our clients are successful and that typically 4% of leads turn into a sale, which we factor into our pricing so that clients understand what their marketing cost will be before they use our service We know there will be "bad leads" from time to time, we describe it upfront, we bake it into our pricing model If every lead was a deal, it would be a different product, with different pricing, and a lower margin for the client." We did talk about bad leads upfront They mentioned that some of the leads would be bad, but most of the leads were bad About 90%, maybe more, were bad leads "When we began working with [redacted] initially they were working the leads in house Their sales representatives were taking lead on calling on homeowners and setting appointments They realized quickly they could not provide accurate data about the leads and the conversion rates were not good They had set appointments and closed job generating $1,in revenue They then decided that using a 3rd party call center could help them on calling and appointment setting as well as accurate performance reporting." This is not accurate We closed one lead for $in revenue "The 3rd party call center was able to secure appointments on their behalf We had a conversation with [redacted] after about a week into the new appointment setting campaign They mention that all appointments that were set via the 3rd party call center fell through Modernize immediately set up a conference call between the 3rd party call center, Modernize, and [redacted] to discuss their concerns, review all the recorded calls for each of the appointments, and to make suggestions or recommendations when following up and running appointments set [redacted] did not show up for the call or clarify why they did not attend." This is also incorrect Modernize was supposed to call me for the conference and never did When I emailed them we made another appointment for a call and they cancelled because the representatives child was sick We had another weekly meeting that I called in and no one ever showed Again, this is the reason for my complaint Modernize is a scam company built around lies and deceit Most of the information in their response to my complaint is false Please help by taking their rating down so that other businesses don't fall into their trap

***,I hear you feel deceived due to leads you returned for credit being denied.? We offered to replace these leads for you - even good ones, and ones which were in the geographic area you initially specified, which I hoped you would recognize as a sign of a company trying to work with you.? Per our agreement those credits won't be put back on your credit card, unfortunately.Window leads in San Antonio transfer at 21%.? We generally see deals out of leadswhich means most leads won't pan out - we try to make this very clear upfront by focusing on hitting your Marketing Cost goalsbecause bad leads don't matter when we both understand what kind of results we are shooting for - which is to make money with the lead program? ? Results need to be measured in the aggregate, and leads is an insufficient sample size to judge the performance of a program.? We are one of the fastest growing companies in Texas, and you don't get there by selling junk, you get there by working with clients when they run into trouble.? We hope to have the opportunity to do this with you.I'm here if you want to further discuss,***

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Regards, [redacted] **

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:The reason I say only 10% were valid is because there were only people that fit your definition of a qualified lead people I was able to contact and they knew why I was calling or I was able to leave a voice mail I did not meet with the of them nor did I get a sale Whether or not we make the sale is not the issue or the dispute The dispute is over what you sent over to me as being a qualified lead As per your "Trial Agreement" under additional terms it defines a qualified lead as "a lead that is submitted by the homeowner and includes a valid, contactable phone number, name, email address and project type" 90% of the leads sent over to me did not meet this criteria I was told that I should expect to receive 12-15% of non qualified leads Instead I received 90% non qualified leads by your definition This is not billboards, radio or mailers I was told that these are high quality leads and I only received leads that fit your definition of a qualified lead I do not want a credit because the quality of the leads I was sent is so poor I want my money back for leads which is $ I feel that is extremely fair and here is how I came to that There were a total of leads I received I was told that I should expect 12-15% non qualified leads leads would be right at 15% non qualified and I received leads that fit your definition for a total of leads I agree should be paid for That leaves leads I should be reimbursed for and if you multiply that by the price I was charged per lead ($28) the total is $ Regards, [redacted]

We've added your email address to a suppression list that we distribute to all of our affiliates: this will stop you from receiving any emails on behalf of Home Improvement LeadsWhile we are not the ones sending these emails, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience they may have caused.respectfully,? [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: three more spam means agestoday and they all start with Urgent! Regards, [redacted]

Hi Ms [redacted] ,? ? I apologize for the number of unwanted calls you have receivedIt can take up to hours to have you removed from our call list but I have ensured that you are now on our Do Not Call list and you will not receive any additional calls.? ? ?

As stated previously, we re the largest solar lead generation company in America currently working with nine of the top ten residential installation contractorsWe sell thousands of solar leads eery dayOur reputation is excellent and the feedback we are getting across the country is best ever KPIsIt is too bad that Ms [redacted] 's company was not as successful, but it is certainly not indicative of a problem and not a reason for refunding moneyRespectfully, [redacted]

Our leads are effectively an advertising channel for clients As with a billboard, radio, or direct mail, most units of the product, be they views, listens, or leads, will not result in a sale and we set this expectation upfront The difference is that people tend to measure lead services one lead at a time, rather than in the aggregate performance as you do with the above mentioned channels like radio If you sent a postcard at a time, or played a commercial for a single consumer, you'd never use that medium again and would focus on the people who didn't open the card or listen to your ad Now then, based on historical results from our clients we know that when results are measured in the aggregate our clients are successful and that typically 4% of leads turn into a sale, which we factor into our pricing so that clients understand what their marketing cost will be before they use our service We know there will be "bad leads" from time to time, we describe it upfront, we bake it into our pricing model If every lead was a deal, it would be a different product, with different pricing, and a lower margin for the client. We expect that an average of 80% of these leads will not turn into an appointment We discussed these goals and expectations when we on-board any new client Being as transparent as possible, out of leads you can expect that of those leads will not turn into an appointment for whatever the reason Out of the that do, we see our contractors average a 20% close ratioWhen we began working with [redacted] initially they were working the leads in house Their sales representatives were taking lead on calling on homeowners and setting appointments They realized quickly they could not provide accurate data about the leads and the conversion rates were not good They had set appointments and closed job generating $1,in revenue They then decided that using a 3rd party call center could help them on calling and appointment setting as well as accurate performance reporting. The 3rd party call center was able to secure appointments on their behalf We had a conversation with [redacted] after about a week into the new appointment setting campaign They mention that all appointments that were set via the 3rd party call center fell through Modernize immediately set up a conference call between the 3rd party call center, Modernize, and [redacted] to discuss their concerns, review all the recorded calls for each of the appointments, and to make suggestions or recommendations when following up and running appointments set [redacted] did not show up for the call or clarify why they did not attend We provided leads which turned into appointments for the client, it's up to the client to close them from there.Below is a copy of the marketing Proforma that was provided and reviewed with [redacted] during the sales process

Dear Revdex.com and [redacted] ,Based on the limited information provided in the complaint, we have added the email address [redacted] to the Do Not Email list for all of our email and email partners Based on the complaint, it seems likely that the offending party is one of our external marketing partners It would be extremely helpful for to have [redacted] forward us the original emails she received so we can further investigate the issue She can forward the emails to us at the following email address: [redacted] The email address noted in the complaint was not previously on the company's Do Not Email list until we manually added it It also seems like she was attempting to unsubscribe from the marketing partner's mailing list and not our specific offer, and the the marketing partner's unsubscribe link was not working properly.Effective immediately she should not receive any more home improvement related offers from us or our marketing partners [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: there is no basis for their argument? In two weeks the 3rd party call center that works for Modernize were able to get appointments for us and all of them cancelled or no showed for those appointments? There is no actual evidence that other clients got leads? Again, shady business practices that need to be stopped now? Read other complaints on the Revdex.com site and they state the same issues that I had? This company needs to be stopped? Regards, [redacted]
