I have been advised this falls in the line of Privity of contract. I have a one year warranty with new products purchased. The brand I bought was Nikon doesn't matter where its made or sold by the company Nikon. Its the same company that makes the product. They need to stand behind their product. I asked for another contact  or their legal department and they would not provide that. I also asked for proof in writing that it was from Canada and they could not provide that. They keep cutting the conversation off.

Customer has been issued a refund for this product on 10/**/15.

We have contacted the customer by email on 12/**/16 and informed him the extraneous charges have been reversed on his account.

This customer has been contacted by email on 1/*/17 and informed that he is being sent a new charger.

We contacted the customer on 10/**/16 via email and offered a resolution.  The customer appears to be satisfied with the offer and replied to the email.

[redacted] has been communicating with Nikon Customer Relations.  His camera was sent to Nikon 2/**/16 for the D600 Technical Service Advisory and was serviced.  As per the TSA should he have any further issues he should provide sample images for evaluation.On 3/*/16 the camera was once...

again sent in for service for non-TSA related issues.  Service and senior members of Customer Relations checked the camera and have found it to be working within Nikon standards.  The camera was shipped back to the customer on 3/*/16.

Nikon did offer me a discount on a refurbished product of my choosing.  Which I do feel a 30% discount is still very low considering they did completely break the camera I sent in to be fixed.  Along with the discount the item I purchased was to be shipped over night air.  I ordered my camera replacement on Friday and it was not delivered until Wednesday of the following week. Of course this was not within the agreement. No compensation was given for that either.  Also the product arrived with no Manuel.  Needless to say, Nikon makes good products and I will continue to use them.  However, I will not send in a camera to be fixed by them again.  After further research and talking to other photographers, I have learned that Nikon has a poor reputation in customer service and fixing cameras.

Customer has been contacted on June [redacted] and June [redacted] and offered a resolution for her camera issue.

Customer was contacted on 7/**/15 and we requested to see his camera for a re-evaluation.  The camera was received here on 7/**/15.  Once evaluation is completed we  will contact him with our findings.

Thanks to [redacted] I was able to pick up my camera from the sort facility. They gave me notice and a chance to pick it up before they sent it back to Nikon. I received better customer service from [redacted] then I did from any phone agents with Nikon. Even though Nikon was helping me re-purchase my camera, they still were not guaranteeing that they would ship my new camera to my specifications.  
I'm still not thrilled with my experience, but I have my camera now, and will never be purchasing directly from Nikon ever again. Too much stress and drama that I do not need. I shouldn't have needed to file a Revdex.com complaint to get them to even respond to my requests.  [redacted] has great customer service and if there is anything I can do to give them kudos/a great recommendation on the Revdex.com site, I'd be happy to do so.

We have contacted the customer and asked that she send her camera in to our Service Department  for a re- evaluation.  An overnight prepaid shipping label was sent on 9/*/15 but the label has not yet been used.   It has been noted that she stated she does not want to...

send in  her camera but we can't possibly make an evaluation without it.

Customer was contacted by phone on 10/**/16 by a manager and was offered a resolution and is satisfied.

We contacted the customer on 4/**/16 and offered a free shipping label to send back the camera. For good customer relations it will be replaced.

Thanks, but I would like the Issue to be resolved, rather than another "evaluation" to be performed. Nikon already evaluated my camera on 06/**/2015 (service order #[redacted]) and found nothing. I had my evaluation when I got it back (see [redacted] video I provided) and the problem was there.  I will mark this as resolved when I have my camera back with intermittent issue addressed or if I get a replacement. Regards,[redacted]

Nikon accepted complete responsibility for their mistake & corrected the problem by sending me a brand new camera as a replacement. I am sorry it took a bit to get to a solution & that it had to happen in the first place, but I am very happy with Nikon's response to the situation.
