To Whom it may concern:I'm not sure how to respond to this rejection as there is nothing actionable to respond to. The customer would not take pictures of the damage we allegedly caused so I went out to his home for a second time. I knocked on his door and took pictures while I was there. I first would like to apologize for the inconvenience the guest experienced while staying on the property.  I am the manager and was not here that day, however I am not sure what occurred but I can speak for the staff that was on duty by stating we strive to keep our guest safe and from being...

disturbed by other guest or individuals on the property. I also would like to mention that we don't have guest that stay or live on the property but we sometimes have guest that stay 2 or 3 days depending on their business. I do understand her concerns about being watched on the camera but we have them to protect guest.  Again I would like to apologize because this guest felt by keeping her and others safe she felt uncomfortable.

Company states: There were no bugs in the room. We also have just sprayed the walls recently. We will not be refunding the consumer at this time.

Fabulous Company! I have used the Tree People twice and will most likely use them again in the future. This is obviously a company that cares about the customer. They are extremely fair and honest. I would highly recommend.

I am a regular customer of this particular Motel 6. I am homeless, living in my vehicle with an elderly cat...she is 16 years old. This motel is one of very few around that accept pets. I went there on October 23...my birthday, hoping to relax in a tub of hot water to relieve spinal pain and have a good sleep in a bed as well as play with my cat...let her exercise. They said I was on their do not rent list. I asked why. The woman said, because sheets were destroyed during my last stay about a month ago.
During that stay my cat became very sick with projectile vomiting under the bed where I could not reach to clean. I used towels and shoved them under to soak up any liquid. At check out, I explained the situation and expected them to keep the $30 deposit they require. The woman told me not to worry about it and gave back my deposit.
I'm banned from Motel 6, because my cat was sick. This place allows pets. What do they expect? What would they have done had it been a child? This is absolutely pathetic and appalling to do to someone, and further...to someone that is homeless. This is not the only bad experience.
Twice they gave me a room neither fit nor ready, making me have to hall everything out and up and down stairs several times with a bad spine, neck and shoulder. One room had a tub full of nasty dirty water and filthy floor. Another, they said they were changing the door lock as I was leaving to get my car fixed. They told me "you don't have to stay while we do this." YES I DO!! I'm not leaving a room full of electronics alone and open for anyone to take. So rude. I have my communications...laptop, chromebook, tablet, phone, hotspot and camera. This is poor customer service and how vindictive to pick on my dying cat!! If there was a problem, all they had to do was keep the deposit when I asked!!
How shamefull!!

After speaking to you this morning I was able to find the letter you had mailed. I looked into the complaint and found that we did indeed charge for missing/damaged items. Our rooms are checked daily by a member of management after housekeeping is finished to...

ensure the required number of towels, linens, pillows, ect. Upon inspecting the room after Ms. [redacted] checked out, 2 towels and 2 pillows were missing. At this time, I am unable to refund her. I do apologize for the late response. Have a great day!

My very large tree was difficult to remove. The Tree People offered to removed part of my fence in order to get the tree out, which they did and they put the fence back up with ease! All members of the staff were helpful in scheduling my service quickly and the job was done well!

On April 23, 2014 I called Motel 6 in Regina at 8:05 A.M. to reserve a single room for my wife and I for June 18th. We were quoted a 60 plus rate of $89.99 plus taxes for a total of $101.82. We would be flying in late at 12 midnight from Vancouver. The room would be held using our credit card. I wrote this detail down in my monthly calendar. On June 18, 2014 we arrived at the Motel at about 12:30. Before paying for the room I asked the clerk whether the $193.73 that showed up on his machine was a security deposit. He said no that was the total room cost. I said it couldn't be as I was quoted a price of just over $100.00(two months ago). I told him I had written it down in my monthly calendar. I showed him my monthly calendar and the figure I was quoted ($89.99 plus taxes)He continued to insist that his system showed it was booked under a 60 plus rate at $170.99 plus taxes totaling $193.74. He also noted that their room prices for that week were alot higher because the Farm Progress Show was on in Regina. He said they couldn't of quoted me this lower price because they knew months ago that their prices would be higher that week, and he also admitted that the person that would of quoted me that price was no longer working for them. At that point I was ready to leave and drive the 4 hours home to Swan River. He noted that if we left we would be billed for the room anyway as we did not give them the required notice to cancel the room and at 12:30 at night they would not be able to fill the room.He called the Manager who said he would be in, in the morning and he would do something for us. So we stayed the night. In the morning we went through the same conversation with the Manager. He would only reduce the bill by $20.00. I feel we were still overcharged by $70.00. Without our knowledge the price was changed after we booked the room. If they changed the room prices they should of notified us so we could change our plans.I believe we are intitled to an additional refund.Desired SettlementAdvance a cheque to my address or credit my Mastercard.Business Response The week of Farm Progress, our rates do rise considerably as the whole city does. This gentleman has stayed at our property before and has received a rate of $89.99.Our rates were loaded in December 2013 for the next 15 months.And in my system also I never seen any changes of his rate. It was booked at $170.99 from the beginning. System can show if anyone change the rate from the quoted or booked rate. We always offer the guest a email confirmation and or confirmation number so they can have a copy of their reservation. Even after this we gave him $20 off from their bill to show we appreciate their business. I am very sorry to hear that he was still not satisfied with that. We always try to make our guest happy but sometimes we also have some limitations.Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)His rates may of been loaded in Dec.2013 but we were quoted the price of $89.99 at 8:05 A.M. on April 23rd by one of his employees, or I wouldn't of wrote it in my monthly calendar that I carry with me. We were never given a Reservation # or an Email to confirm this price or any other price, and we were never notified that this was Farm Progress Week and that the prices would be extremely high. If we had we would of made other arrangements not to stay in Regina and possibly driven home. When checking in at 12 midnight we were forced to take the room or pay for it anyway. If they would asked us to pay an additional $20.00 for the mix up I would of been happy and not complaining. But to pay $90.00 more including taxes with a refund of only $20.00 because one of their employees quoted us the wrong prices is not acceptable. [redacted]. We look forward to an additional refund.Final Business Response I understand he wrote in his monthly calendar. But it can never be the source of prove that we were quoted $89.99. The rate was $189.99.From there he paid $150.99 plus tax. All together he got $40 off from the rack rate. We already talked about it when he was in the hotel. I am repeating myself again, we do appreciate their business and we would love to see them again in our hotel. I can offer them additional 10% off for their next visit. He can contact me personally to make the reservation and I will make sure he get the service he deserved as a valued guest.

Review: Ok so....me and my husband drove 6 days from [redacted] and stayed at Motel 6 all along the way with no problems. ...until we checked in at Motel 6 Sacramento South at 7407 Elsie. ...I reserved my room for one week...with 2 beds...downstairs. ..the front desk lady was awesome....although didn't have a room with 2 right then...she promised to move to a larger room with 2 beds the following morning since we had a lot of stuff....as promised. .we received our room..mind u it was the same size as the 1 bed room only another bed added! Anyway. ..the [redacted] and security guard saw me as I was unloading my vehicle. ..I asked her if there was any problem and she said no...just don't leave my plant outside because they don't allow things in the window and on the walkway....SO.....I finally get done with all this work and lay down for the evening. ...next day we go to the store when we come back there are towels on the bed...I'm like cool...they refreshed the room.....when you rent by the week...Motel 6 policy is to Refresh...then the 3rd day they clean.....so there's a knock on my door....[redacted] asking me if I got maid service because the maid needs to come in and clean my room.I guess he thought I didn't know the policy. ....told him fine...she can come in anytime and clean I'll do whatever it takes so we won't have any problems.we joked around for a few minutes then he left...I'm thinking everything is ok...so the maid comes right back and says they want me to call the front desk. ..I call and they tell me we have to check out tomorrow I have "TOO MUCH LUGGAGE" ....I'm like WTF? I NEVER heard of having too much luggage at a motel...so I offered to put my belongings in storage. ...which I did that same hour.....but they still kicked us out....my husband is a disabled Vietnam War VET...diabetic. ...severe arthritis and multiple spine surgeries. ...we traveled here for another surgery. ...the [redacted] said that it wasn't his problem and we were "lucky" he didn't make us leave nowDesired Settlement: Complete refund and for [redacted] to be made to take a class on how to be [redacted], A course in compassion is needed here
