I am more than just impressed with the way MovingClaims.net handled my caseI claimed for the compensation to the moving company which I used just a couple of months agoMy claim was going nowhereSo, I had to involve third party, which is MovingCLaims.netMichael did his best to file my claim and won the compensation on my behalfThey knew their jobThey made sure the moving company apologize to me and also pay me the compensation for the damages they have done during the transition of my belongingsHats off to MovingClaims.net for the awesome support

I was really upset with the mover that I used to move my officeIt was shocking to see the bill for the worst service ever! I filed a claim against them with the help of MovingClaims.net because I wanted the demurrage for the damaged furniture and broken valuablesI was not easy for me to handle the entire procedure but MovingClaims.net managed everything on my behalf and managed to get the compensation from the mover which was least expectedSo, I would like to thank MovingClaims.net for being with me when I needed most

I filed the complaint for long distance moving experts with DOT # XXXXXXX on Aug. 6th but not reply so far though already over 90 days.
I filed the complaint through this company for long distance moving experts with DOT # XXXXXXX and MC# *** email:***@longdistancemovingexperts.net, Phone # XXX-XXX-XXXX) for my delivery and service issue. I contacted this business several times and per construction that I attached detailed document and photos through the email.

On August 6th, I got the confirmation email from ***@MovingClaims.net and mentioned that "Please accept this ACKNOWLEDGMENT EMAIL that MovingClaims.net is in receipt of your information. We are examining all documents related to your account and a written response will be send to you within 30 - 60 Days from the date of this email."

However, it is already over 90 Days, no follow up at all. I need a reply and a reasonable resolution, please!

Desired Outcome

As a complaint solving company Networld Enterprises, Inc. I request this business reply me and give me follow up for my filed complaint. The Networld Enterprises, Inc should help ask/request the moving company to give me refund as I request through the files. Partial refund for the $400 unreasonable shuttle rent fee ($250 - $300). I think $100 - $150 is a reasonable price to rent the shuttle considering the driving distance (from *** Mall Rd Richmond CA XXXXX to *** St San Francisco, CA XXXXX, shuttle(truck) size, location and time. Labor fee could not be an excuse since the $1700 price on the original contract already considers the labors. The company already charged me $50 more during pickup even I had few items compared to the original contract. The company pays me money for the broken TV stand, damaged Queen Mattress as well as broken Vaccum part and squeezing/damaging boxes. The company should give me an explanation for the delivery form without my signature issue. Is it legal? I request moving company to give me corresponding compensation for the unprofessional service, late notice and threatening words ($100.00 - $200.00). I spent a lot of time to ask them updated information. I was scared and worried from 10th to 18th.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Dear Revdex.com Staff,

I did not agree the response from the MovingClaims.net. I mentioned clearly that I have not got any response from the MovingClaims.net after waiting 90 days. As email mentioned that MovingClaims.net is a third party claims company hired by moving company's to help solve customers who may have experienced Loss, Damage, Delay, or Overcharge during their relocation, in accordance with the customer's coverage and federal law. I do not feel that I am been helped. All the above feedback I got from MovingClaims staff is talking about general case description and normal responsibility but totally ignore my request to get the feedback from the MovingClaims.net. They are shirking responsibility. They mentioned that they are collecting materials from both sides (customers and moving companies). But I did not got any follow up after my case submitting. I strongly suspect that whether they even did not process my case.

I attach the email screen to support this case.

Looking forward to your response. Many thanks for the time.
Sincerely

Dear MovingClaims.net Staff,

Thanks for your time and patience. You finally mentioned how to move on to the next stage, CLAIMS RESOLUTION STAGE.

However, where is the PDF LETTER and how could I find the format of that? As I mentioned several times before that I have not received any feedback (besides the email confirmation on August 6th that you mentioned you already received my email/files and will give me response in 30-60 days) after submitting my support materials.

Send us a SIGNED PDF LETTER stating that you are satisfied with the information submitted, and you are requesting to continue forward with your claim to the final stage which is, CLAIMS RESOLUTION STAGE.

Could you please to send me the PDF format, please? I would like to express that again now it is already over 90 days (August 6th - Nov 30th) instead of the dates you promised before ( 30 - 60 days).

Looking forward to your response.
Sincerely

Had over $2,000 worth of damaged goods during my move. Was referred to MovingClaims.net for insurance and they won't respond or cover the goods.
Moved to Arizona in June 2018 from South Carolina and utilized Global Moving Systems in Port Charlotte, FL. My furniture was not wrapped and protected resulting in damage to most of my wooden items. At the time of signing my contract, I was told that there was no additional insurance that could be purchased and that all goods would be wrapped in protective blankets. Upon receipts of my furniture, all of my wooden items were scratched, chipped, or gouged. I contacted the moving company who is now out of business. I filed a claim with the insurance company, MovingClaims.net, and was offered $72 for my damaged items. They stated that it was only worth $0.60 per pound. At that rate, I should have received much more than they offered. I have attempted multiple calls and e-mails with only generic e-mail responses and no phone calls. They refuse to speak to me and take care of the insurance claim.

Desired Outcome

Full payment for my damaged items. It is not my fault that the moving company I used is now out of business.

Hired Affordable Movers and insurance was provided through Moving Claims.net. Damaged occurred, claim filed, received, verified and no response
Contracted a move from Florida to Ohio with a moving company named Affordable Movers which was horrible. The insurance provided was by Moving Claims.net as I was told. There was over $2,000.00 in damages that were documented and claimed as it took over a month to received all the items included in the move in which it took 2 different shipments to receive. Once everything was inventoried, I contacted Affordable movers and was told to send a listing of everything that was damaged and send it to them. The affordable movers Dispatch area sent me an email on 10/18/2017 asking for pictures of the items which I emailed to them. I 10/23/17 affordable movers dispatch sent me an email letting me know that I had to contact another company to process my claim (moving claims.net). I contacted Moving Claims.net to let them know I had a claim as instructed to do on 10/23/17 and they sent me an email on 10/24/18 and said my claim was registered and I received an acknowledgement notice. On 10/27/17 I received another email stating my claim was verified for processing and contained a 6 page instruction deck that stated exactly what I needed to do to receive reimbursement for the damages I was subjected to which included taking pictures of all of the items and having them printed out and mailed to the address they listed on the 6 page form. I completed all of this even though I had already send pictures to Affordable Movers with all this same information after to being instructed to do so and then received a email from Moving Claims.net on 12/28/17 stating that they have received everything and I should hear something within 30 to 60 days. I waiting well past 60 days and contacted them by email several times including again today and still have not heard one word from them.

Desired Outcome

I want to be reimbursed for the damages that were warranted under the contract that I signed with Affordable Movers and was promised through Moving Claims.net

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
While this inferior company says that they fulfilled their responsibility to review and process my claim, they definitely did not. The last communication that I received from Moving Claims.net was 12/28/17 until today, 10/3/18. Today,I received an email showing where someone names "***" sent me the email that I did receive on 12/28/17 but then 2 additional emails showing that I received on 1/18/18 giving me the opportunity to modify and/or adjust my claim or let it process as submitted, I NEVER RECEIVED THIS EMAIL. The email that I was sent today also stated I was notified that since I never responded to their email of 1/18/18, they were denying my claim and were sending me notification of the denial in accordance with FMCSA. I NEVER RECEIVED THAT EMAIL EITHER. This company is shady and just trying to cover it own tracks. After I received the verification email from them on 12/18/17 stating they had 60 days to process, I sent them emails several times requesting the status of the claim with no response. They never responded on the dates they claim to and never intended to. They made me jump their hoops just to get reimbursed for the damages that I incurred and never intended to make good in paying the claim.
Again, they never provided any communication with me after 12/28/17 and failed to fulfill their obligation which I assume is in violation with FMCSA. I would ask that they pay me the damages they owe and this be permanently attached to their business file to warn unsuspecting consumers of their shady dealing practices

MovingClaims.net Response • Oct 11, 2018

Dear Valued Customer,

Compensation for your claim was based upon the level of valuation coverage selected by you on the Bill of Lading(contract) and notations for damaged and/or missing items documented on the Descriptive Inventory. Weights are derived from a table of deemed weights provided by AMSA and approved by the US Dept. of Transportation. If actual weights are to be considered, the customer will need to provide proof of weight by submitting the manufacturer specifications for each item being claimed.

As an interstate mover, the carrier is obligated to adhere to applicable federal law as administered by the US Department of Transportation, specifically in regard to limitation of liability, 49 C.F.R. § 375.203(b). In the present case, a review of the documentation reveals that a limitation of liability of $0.60 per pound per article was agreed upon. Under this option, the maximum liability is limited to $0.60 per pound per article, for all items indicated as damaged or missing at time of delivery.

Please note that this moving claim is NOT an insurance claim and is based on the terms of the contract you agreed to by signing. This is a Valuation claim that is compensated by weight @ .60 cents per lb per each item being claimed. As a 3rd party administrative firm we are required to comply and adhere to the terms of the contract and any exclusions listed on the contract.

AS PER COMPANY POLICY, YOU MUST TYPE A REBUTTAL LETTER DETAILING YOUR REASONS FOR THE DISPUTE AND ATTACHED ANY SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS (IF ANY) TO YOUR REQUEST.

REMEMBER: Your claim has already been reviewed once and a settlement letter was issued based on the information you provided. Please read your settlement letter carefully as it will allow you to better understand the reasons for the determination and if any information was missing.

NOTE: All disputes are being reviewed by MovingClaims.net senior controllers. No third review of a claim is allowed.

KINDLY ACCEPT OUR APOLOGIES FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE AND WE WISH YOU THE BEST IN YOUR NEW LOCATION!

Always at Your Service!

I never heard anything back from this sham of a company and contacted them by email at least twice after 90 days and was never responded to. Finally after it was evident they had no intention of contacting me regarding my claim, I sent them one final email letting them know that I was contacting the Revdex.com and filing this compliant, it was only then that I received an email letting me know that they did contact me twice within the 60 day time frame which was a complete lie. They never contacted me after sending me the email in December of 2017 letting me know that they received all of my information and that it was verified and they were processing everything, no contact at all until I let them know I was filing this complaint and now they are trying their best to back track and cover their tracks but emails don't lie, I never received any nor did they send any. moving claims.net is unethical and bad for the consumer and I would NEVER do business with them nor do business with anyone that does business with them. They are horrible, unethical, untruthful and only care about themselves and how they can cheat the consumer at every turn.
I did everything that I was asked to do within the time limits that I was given and at this point, they need to reimburse me for my damages.

These 5 star reviews are left by a company they hire to put them there. Read them. Broken english and they all read like an ad. This company is a sham. They don't do anything for the actual customer and are all for the trucking companies that hire them. I have no clue what these people are talking about when they say they got this company involved. They are not hired by consumers, the moving companies pay for their services. Repeatedly using the words, "Huge Loss" "Big Loss" "Reputed" as apposed to "Reputable" on many of the reviews is a sign that these are all fake reviews. The only ones that are real are the bad ones. Revdex.com should take this under advisement. They should be more careful with what reviews they show or allow if its clear fraud.

Inconsistent information from reps through email and no phone call after voicemail left
My moving company said to file overcharge claims through movingclaims.net and the site gives the option of selecting overcharges as being the problem. However, when I emailed customer service to get information on how to handle this in the claims package, I received inconsistent responses. First they said they wouldn't handle it, then they said to send it to them and they'd forward it to the moving company and then they told me to fill out the package but wouldn't give information on how to do so for overcharges. I repeatedly asked specific questions that they would not answer. I tried to talk to someone on the phone in order to get clarity but my voicemail was never returned.

Desired Outcome

I would like a customer service representative to return my phone call to provide clarity about the process and answer my questions that were ignored over email, such as why one of their reps said they would forward it to the moving company if they are unwilling to do so.

Customer Response • Sep 24, 2018

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
In the response, they clearly state that they handle claims of overcharges. Here is the exact sentence from their response:

"MovingClaims.net is a third party claims company hired by moving company's in order to provide claims processing services, free of charge to its customers who may have experienced Loss, Damage, Delay, or Overcharge during their relocation, in accordance with the customer's coverage and federal law."

However, per my initial complaint, my issue is that when I try to file such a complaint through their company they say they don't handle it or will say to send it to them to forward to the moving company just to change their response. I have tried to get information from their customer service about how to file an overcharge claim and have gotten no clear information on how to do so, even though they state themselves that they handle such claims. And I never received any phone call from them following leaving a voicemail and stating that as my desired resolution to try to clear things up.

It is completely inaccurate to say that my claim is not against movingclaims.net. As my complaint explained, my issue was that movingclaimts.net was not handling a claim that even they say they handle and not providing the information necessary for me to file the claim through them. Again... For guaranteed quality assurance, we serve as a liaison between the customers and their service provider's (Moving Companies). We reach out to all customers after their move is concluded to assure customer satisfaction. We inquire about their needs being met, if not exceeded, providing them with a survey and collecting their input accordingly. Once we collect that information, should we discover the customer is in any way displeased or unsatisfied with the services they've received we begin to seek resolution on behalf of their moving company, the responsible party. We understand how unforeseen, unfortunate events can take place so we focus on providing a hassle-free, convenient process for customers to file customer service complaints or claims for loss and damage when the unpredictable should happen.
Upon the submission of a claim and/or complaint by a customer, MovingClaims.net collects information from both the carriers (moving company) as well as their customers in order to determine settlement amounts per the carrier's legal liability as detailed in the carrier's governing Bill of Lading and applicable tariff and in conjunction with federal law. Please note, while we regret when any customer is unsatisfied with the settlement rendered, please understand that MovingClaims.net is not the responsible party for the outcome of the customer claim.
We are not an insurance, moving nor repair company, we simply process claims/complaints. Therefore we cannot be held responsible for any actions taken by the customer's service provider (moving company).

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Once again, the response says that my issue is not movingclaims.net's responsibility. However, it is their responsibility because it is about filing a claim on their site and being unable to get information from their customer service so that I can file a claim on the site that they said they handle.

Movingclaims.net has yet to provide the information needed for me to file the claim so that this issue can be resolved.

These folks are supposed to be the middle man for my moving complaint. They give vague answers and will not provide me any details about this.
I filed a complaint with these folks for a botched move and they first claimed they didn't receive the package. I resent with tracking and they finally, after 2 months, said they were ready to present my claim to the movers. After 2 more months, they said the movers would pay me $72 and sent a release form for me to sign. They also said if I disputed, I had a one-shot chance to do this. I made inquiries about what was denied so I would know what kind of new documentation I needed and they will not respond with any details. This whole process is so strange - they won't give a phone number or answer in any way so that I understand what I need to do. I don't even know if this "one shot" will mean I have released the movers even if I am not satisfied, which I am not.
Even using the MINIMAL 60 cents/pound, I submitted $326 in damages.

Desired Outcome

Contact from this company to answer my questions about the dispute. Not just a form letter with vague answers. I do not know what the $72 is payment for and so I do not know what to provide more documentation for.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
This is the same form letter I keep getting. I have asked for SPECIFICS. I submitted $326 in claims using the minimal $.60/lb. The offer was $72. I want to know what this covers and what was denied and why. They say I only have ONE appeal. Without detailed information, I don't know what I am appealing.

I also asked them to intervene on the additional $1,650 I was held hostage for but nothing about this was addressed.

Customer Response • Sep 25, 2018

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
When I attempted to communicate with the movers about my losses, I was instructed to deal with these people only. They are the ones I submitted my paperwork to and they are the ones who emailed me the settlement offer letter for $72. Since they are having a hard time understanding plain English, I will spell it out so that a first grader can figure out what I am asking.

I only have ONE appeal, according to these people, so I need to know WHAT I am appealing. Listed below are the items I am claiming with the minimal 60 cents per pound:

Scarred flooring - 4 planks - $27.90
Refridgerator - 117.00
Futon frame 33.00
Futon mattress 35.00
King adjustable box spring 60.00
mattress linens 3.00
3 pc 1/4" glass 21.00
mirror 21.00
Wall Art 3.00
Shrink wrap 5.00

This totals $326. Please specify what the $72 offer covers and provide a reason for each item rejected so I know what I am appealing TO YOU and what I need to provide to support my appeal.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
By the response indicated by MOVINGCLAIMS.NET, a subsidiary of Net World Inc, claims to be a third party arbitator of sorts; powerless to effect any real representation of the GroveStars LLC or the Plaintiff, the individual affected by the poor handling of customers household goods, personal property, and real property. To initiate a claim, customers are required to do so via process of MovingClaims.net. All inidividual correspondence required of platintiff were forwarded to MovingClaims.net in a timely and through manner. None of the hose claims or documentation have been addressed by MovingClaims.net. MovingClaims.net offered a settlement of $70 for the thousands of dollars worth of over charges, damage and abuse at the hands of GroveStars. MovingClaims.net has or was given the authority to settle the claim with plaintiff at the sum of $70 for damages, abuse, and overcharges, and this figure shared with plaintiff is based on nothing disclosed by MovingClaims.net. CLEARLY, MovingClaims.net has the authority to issue a settlement without disclosing any decision criteria or information, therefore, it is obvious that MovingClaims.net, acting as arbitrator, is not representing both sides fairly.

The response from MovingClaims.net is a poor attempt to shuffle responsibility and is unacceptable. This, and subsequent documentation, complaint to Revdex.com, and response by MovingClaims.net are in the possession of litigating attorneys Jones & Greenberg of ***.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
MovingClaims.net does not identify there actual relationship to GroveStars.com other than to say they are not responsible. However, during the claims process, it is required to go through movingclaims.net for a justifiable determination. Movingclaims.net does not identify what of the customers information and evidence is the proposed settlement for. MovingClaims.net does not idenitfy any customer information one a case by case basis. MovingClaims.net repeteadly states an industry standard or .60/per pound, while grovestars.com did not weight customer materials. It is unreasonable for any common person to believe that damages in the manner of $70 is a fair estimate. MovingClaims/net does not address the individual damages caused by grovestars.com, there liaibility to the company as a representative, there actual causal relationship with grovestars.com, the per item justification for a $70 settlement. Where as, the desk alone as delivered by *** Furniture, severaly damaged by grovestars.com, was in excess of 300 pounds. Whereas, the real estate property damage was in excess of $500. Whereas, the moving company, grovestars.com, was negligent in repacking homeowners items at an undisclosed location (packed white truck in ***, unloaded yellow truck in Wisconsin), and severely damaged homeowners items while homeowner was not present.

Ridiculous and a waste of time to even try filing a claim with this company. Submitted well over $1,000 in damages (at $0.60/pound) (including dining table legs and chair arms completely ripped off and holes pierced through framed pictures) and they offered $70. What a sham. Be sure you thoroughly investigate your moving company because you will have no recourse if you have to use MovingClaims.net. Our mover was Pin to Pin from Denver, CO. Do not ever use them. They will destroy your stuff and not even apologize.

MovingClaims.net is surely my best friend. They saved a huge amount. I hired a moving company last month for a commercial move. But that company decided to keep many of my valuables because they tried to get more money from me which was unethical. It was MovingClaims.net that helped me getting out of this problem. When they took the matter everything started to get changed. Soon the movers returned all my valuables and did not demand anything which they don't deserve. I thank each and every one of MovingClaims.net.

Thank you *** - It's truly a nice to read your review...

I am more than just happy with the service of movingclaims.net. Recently I took their service when I was cheated by a moving company. I scheduled my move with them, paid them $1500 in advance but the movers never showed up!! After calling them several times, I asked for refund and they kept on avoiding me. So, I decided to get professional help which proved to be a very good decision. Guys at movingclaims.net did the needful and made sure I get the refund and they charged me a very moderate amount for the service. I had nothing more to ask for.

Complaints: Scamming, Bait & switch, Lying to customer, damaged items not repaired/replaced, poor customer service, length of time for service
Company's name started as Plymouth Relocation services, changed multiple times to In&Out Moving and to Moving Claims and to NETWORLD ENTERPRISES, INC. Moving estimate #XXXXXXX, Booked 6/13/17, Picked up 6/26/17, Delivered 7/26/17, Filed Claim number: #XXXXXX, Settled Claim number: CLAIM ID XXXXXX.

As you can see it was just resolved within the last few weeks, it has taken an entire year to settle this claim that I filed for almost all of my items being damaged for them to offer $68 on over $4000 worth of damages.

Taking over a month to deliver my stuff.. Damaging almost every single item and box that I sent through the truck. Breaking a mirror in storage and not reporting that to me - it just doesn't show up and the only way I found out was through one of the employees who told me.
Every box destroyed and crumpled up, with opened bottoms, several things missing ... It's like the employees knew there was not additional coverage so they decided to intentionally destroy and rob everything...

Even the sales team member *** didn't inform me that my stuff would take over a month to deliver to me. He knew I wanted it on the 10th of July but failed to tell me that it was not coming till a month later. He mysteriously disappeared after the sale was confirmed and booked. I was never able to get hold of him when I called. The girl that answered (with the same voice) had multiple different names such as *** & ***... She was rude to me acting like I got what I signed up for because I didn't buy the highly costly additional insurance.. I reached out so many times via phone and email - I have photo proof of the damages the day they dropped it off.. Even one of the employees informed me of what they do to their clients and apparently this is normal practice.

Complaints: Scamming, Bait & switch, Lying to customer, damaged items not repaired/replaced, poor customer service, length of time for service.

Please help resolve this and also ensure this company does not take advantage of other people.

Desired Outcome

I expect to received minimally $2000 back for all of the items missing and damaged, that's not even accounting for the entire time that I had to sleep on the floor and eat out every meal since all my stuff was held up for an entire month... $68 was what they offered me, that absolutely will not cover the losses and damages that I encountered with just utilizing their service.

Moving with moving company proved to be a very bad decision after ending up with some severe damage. I claimed for the demurrage but the movers started blaming me for the damage!!! Then I contacted with movingclaims.net which did the trick. They knew how to handle these kinds of issues. They took over my claim and did the needful. In the end, I got the demurrage from the movers which saved me from a heavy loss.

To Whom It May Concern:
MovingClaims.net is a third party claims company hired by moving company's in order to provide claims processing services, free of charge to its customers who may have experienced Loss, Damage, Delay, or Overcharge during their relocation, in accordance with the customer's coverage and federal law. All claims are processed based on all information submitted by the claimant as well as their service provider (moving company). Upon full examination of the submitted documents our findings are forwarded to the responsible party (moving company).
Here at movingClaims.net, we take pride in being the most experienced provider of claims processing, administrative services, online reputation, consulting and customer support to the moving industry nationwide. With more than 15 years of experience, our expertise extends to literally every aspect of the business, from managing major moving companies to providing consulting and services in claims processing.
Upon reviewing the customer's complaint it is CLEARLY not addressing our services and involvement in this process. Based on the information provided by the customer, their complaint is against the responsible party, which is their moving company NOT MovingClaims.com, which is the Claims processing company for their moving company.
Due to MovingClaims.net being wrongfully accused, we request to have the above referenced complaint removed from our records, and transferred to the respective party who is responsible, as it proposes an undeserving threat to our reputation, considering the services we provide are not related to the customer complaint.
Thank you for your time!

Moving across the country was a big task but when I hired a bad moving company it became a nightmare for me. Though they moved everything but they were 7 days late and broke many of my valuables and also double the moving cost than what was quoted. I was not willing to pay the extra amount and also asked for the compensation for the damaged stuff. That’s how a BIG issue aroused. Then I hired MovingClaims.net to solve this issue and they did manage everything. In the end I got benefitted and recovered the loss near to 90%. So, I do recommend MovingClaims.net.

I just want to thank and recommend MovingClaims.net. This company helped me when I needed most. The moving company that I used did everything to make me unhappy. So many broken things and some very valuable pieces were missing!! They never gave an explanation and did not even bother to reply me when I asked for the demurrage. So, I had to take the help of MovingClaims.net. [redacted] was my initial contact and [redacted] was my claim adjust rep. They continued my claim and very professionally managed everything. Finally the moving company paid me a healthy amount as the demurrage. Just because of MovingClaims.net, I was able to recover almost 95% loss caused by a BAD moving company.
