The customer in this case states that our notes warning the potential purchaser of the obstructed view were unsatisfactory because they were not specific to baseball/didn't mention home plate specifically. In this case the seller chose to add the generic messaging regarding "blocked view" to their listing notes. This is meant to indicate obstructed view of some kind and was displayed properly. If the customer had questions regarding the generic nature of the "blocked view" warning, they were welcome to contact us for clarity on what this meant. Regardless of whether the notes specifically mention a sporting event or a different type of event in their wording, we (and the seller who listed the tickets) did make every effort to warn the buyer of the general obstruction with messaging of some kind before the customer paid and agreed to our terms. We've let this customer know that they can sell their tickets on any site. If the customer chooses to list them on another site, they can select "obstructed view" from a list of specifics during the process and this will warn a potential buyer of the obstructed view. This is something most reselling sites offer across the board.Furthermore, our "view from seat" feature is not meant to be specific to the exact numbered seat the customer is buying. We add this feature to many venues to show the customer a general view that can be expected, should seats be purchased in this area. To display the seat view in a way that is this specific would not be possible. We would not have a way to photograph and display a view from each and every seat in every venue, as there are millions of seats that exist in thousands of venues across the world.Again, we highly recommend the customer list their tickets for resale on any site that allows them to select "obstructed or limited view" during the selling process. This is our continued advice at this time, and in our opinion the matter is absolutely resolved on SeatGeek's end.
Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.
Sincerely,

Contract date was 11/20/15. Job was completed 12/11/15. Told [redacted] we will be out to fix. My man is going on 12/21/15 to fix the issue. * End cap was in place when we finished. Fell off** Thank you, Michael K[redacted], Mr. Fix It 12/21/15
I believe [redacted]'s confusion here stems from his interpretation of the following statement made in our last response"We do not in any way guarantee the capability to re-list tickets this far in advance. In fact, per our terms of use, it states that it is prohibited for non-vetted/licensed brokers to list such tickets on our marketplace." In no way were we implying that it is illegal to list tickets on the SeatGeek Marketplace, we were simply stating, as it does in our terms of use, that we do not allow non-vetted and licensed sellers to list tickets prior to having them in their possession. Once these tickets are delivered to [redacted], he can list them as needed. There are other secondary ticket markets that do allow the listing of tickets prior to having them in possession so we would recommend he look into that as an option if he does need to list the tickets prior to their delivery after the delayed release is lifted by the 49ers.Additionally, we have thoroughly reviewed every interaction he has had with our customer experience team and each of the 3 reps he corresponded with were consistent in their explanation of his order and the delayed release his tickets are beholden to which again, is a policy being enforced by the 49ers and is not something SeatGeek can alter or expedite in anyway. We continue to stand by our position that this order will not be cancelled as per our terms of use, all sales are final and there is nothing regarding his order that runs contradictory to our terms which [redacted] agreed to at the point of purchase or that of SeatGeek's 100% buye guarantee which his order is protected by. I've provided a link to both our terms of use and buyer guarantee for reference.

We are so sorry for the delay in resolution of this issue. In this situation, the customer accidentally placed two orders. We had offered to provide assistance once they agreed to our terms of use in accordance with our policy. They never responded to this request, which we do require, so we were...
unable to proceed in assisting them. Since the customer submitted this request, they have been assisted and a resolution was reached.
